Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, online safety and more, to proactively identify unintended consequences and emerging risks of AI
Coordinate with Information Security and relevant technical teams to align AI governance reviews and risk assessments with security requirements and technical controls
Contribute to company-wide best practices for responsible AI development and deployment, including AI literacy materials and case studies
What We’re Looking For:
At least 3 years of experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, Corporate Governance, AI safety, AI policy, or a related field, with meaningful experience evaluating AI technologies and systems
At minimum, 5 years of experience contributing to or leading cross-functional programs from strategy through operational implementation, partnering with product, engineering, legal, security, and operations teams
Strong technical fluency in modern AI systems, including LLMs, agentic architectures, tool use/function calling, APIs, cloud services, and automation
Hands-on experience working with or evaluating agentic AI systems; familiarity with MCP or comparable protocols and agent/tool integration frameworks strongly preferred
Experience with AI red teaming, adversarial testing, or other technical approaches to identifying risks in LLM and agentic systems
Understanding of agentic and sociotechnical AI risks, including excessive agency, permissions and data access, unintended tool use, human oversight, systemic risk, and emergent behaviors
Ability to translate technical findings and risks into practical controls, mitigations, and guidance for engineering, product, and business teams
Ability to independently drive outcomes across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to challenge assumptions and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment

What the Role Is
As our Senior Payroll & Compliance Specialist, you'll own the most tangible ways we look after our team: paying people correctly and staying compliant in a fast-changing regulatory environment. You'll do that for a distributed workforce of 600–1,000 employees across ~35 states, 300+ of them nonexempt/hourly. You'll report to our People Operations Manager and work most closely with People Ops, Accounting, and our payroll partner, Newfront — owning our U.S. compliance calendar end to end (45+ recurring obligations a year across about a dozen jurisdictions), with real room to redesign the steps that slow us down. If you've supported complex, multi-state payroll for a large nonexempt workforce, take pride in getting it right, and like being the steady hand behind the scenes, this role will energize you.
Who You Are
You run multi-state U.S. payroll end to end in an enterprise HRIS
(Paylocity or comparable) — inputs, timecard corrections, off-cycle and termination pay, garnishments, and final review before funding.
You've owned a compliance calendar
covering EEO-1, OSHA, nondiscrimination testing, and state reporting — plus background checks, I-9 review, required trainings, and policy creation and revision. You surface deadlines before they're urgent.
Direct experience with California or New York employment law is a strong plus.
These are our two most demanding states — same-day final pay, pay data reporting, and local rules that change often. It's learnable, but if you've run compliance in either, you'll ramp much faster.
You turn legal redlines into usable policy.
You've worked with Legal and outside counsel on handbook language and translated it into something employees will actually follow.
You improve a process, then prove it.
You test against known-good output, build in the checks that show it's still running clean, and leave a written SOP behind. You reach for AI naturally to move faster — at Babylist, every team uses it daily.
You can explain a paycheck to the person who earned it
, and the numbers to the people who sign off on them.
You hold a deadline.
You plan backward from the pay date and the filing date, stay responsive during processing windows, and raise a flag early when a date is at risk.
You have 5–8 years in payroll and compliance, including 3+ years running multi-state U.S. payroll.
CPP, FPC, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR aren't required, but any would cement your expertise.
How You Will Make An Impact
You'll run two payroll cycles end to end — weekly for our fulfillment center and hourly showroom teams, bi-weekly for corporate and salaried showroom — handling every change for a large hourly population: new hires, terminations, clawbacks, corrections, direct deposit updates, and ad-hoc termination pay.
You'll audit every pre-process register before funding and work discrepancies with Newfront until they're resolved.
You'll be the person employees reach when a paycheck doesn't make sense — questions answered or routed within one business day.
You'll own the U.S. compliance calendar through annual filings — EEO-1, CA Pay Data, and OSHA 300 across corporate, both showrooms, and the fulfillment center — and translate legislative change across ~35 states into the handful of actions that actually apply, then brief the People team.
You'll run screenings that hold up under review: background check review and escalation, plus quarterly health exclusion checks.
You'll take point on the annual "Compliance Refresh" each February, chasing it to 100% completion across every eligible employee and contractor, and partner with Legal and outside counsel on handbook and policy review every two years.
You'll design the internal controls across payroll and compliance and keep the evidence trail current — the same trail that carries our annual workers' compensation and external financial audits.
You'll build automation and prove it works — skills, scheduled tasks, and workflow tooling, tested against known-good output and instrumented so you can see it's still running clean. Some SOPs exist; you'll build the rest.
Why This Role
You'll help redesign payroll for a high-growth company, with AI and automation written into the role itself — in how the job is defined and how it's measured.
Payroll and compliance live in one seat. You'll see the whole picture, from the register to the filing, and make each decision knowing exactly what it does to the other.
The controls you design get used and reviewed — auditors look at your evidence trail, Finance and Legal rely on it — so the work carries weight well past our team. You'll have a manager and a director building alongside you.
About Compensation
We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting salary range for this role is:
$93,034 to $124,085
Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Data Center Security Engineering (DCSE) owns physical security across Anthropic's data center footprint: the sites, the hardware inside them, and the supply chain that delivers it. The Security Fusion Platform is where physical security signals from across that footprint are correlated and put in front of the analysts who act on them. It carries continuous monitoring, audit evidence, metrics, and analyst response, along with the classification and analytics pipelines that turn sensor data into events. You'll build and own the platform analysts work from.
This is a foundational role. You'll build the software platform that carries a signal from source to analyst decision, ship its first versions, and keep them running in production. The sensors and systems at each site belong to other DCSE engineers; you define the event contract their owners deliver to, and you build the classification and analytics pipelines that run over what those sources produce. Physical security systems engineers own the operations spaces; you own the software that runs in them. You'll work alongside engineers focused on the sites themselves. What you lead, you own end to end: the design, the technical approach, and the result in production.
You'll work with external vendors and integrators, setting requirements and acceptance criteria for what you own and deciding what the team builds itself. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
This role involves regular travel to data center sites. No security clearance is required. These are critical services, and you'll take part in on-call for them.
Key responsibilities
Design and build the event bus and normalized event schema:
source identity, sequencing, health state, and the adapter contract that owners of each sensor and system feed build to, plus adapters where needed
Build correlation and alerting:
the rules and services that turn events from independent sources into alerts an analyst can act on
Build the classification and analytics pipelines:
computer vision and multi-sensor fusion, with results landing on the event bus
Build analyst surfaces:
the queue, escalation tooling, dashboards, camera viewers, and video wall content a 24/7 watch works from, plus video analytics integration so camera streams arrive on the bus as events
Deliver audit evidence:
durable, tamper-evident event history, evidence exports, and the retention and access controls around them
Instrument metrics and self-monitoring:
detection rates, nuisance ratios, alert aging, time to resolve; heartbeats and loss-of-telemetry alarms on every feed, tested fail-secure behavior, and change audit on every rule
Deploy across sites:
site-local components, central services, and the sync that keeps configuration, rules, and state consistent, then commission each site and hand over to the analysts
Specify the compute the platform runs on
(servers, storage, and the platform's network segment) to the team's segmentation and hardening baseline
Write requirements and acceptance criteria
for what vendors and integrators deliver, review deliverables against them, and make the call on accepting or rejecting the work
Minimum qualifications
Have built and run event-driven backend systems in production
Are proficient in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, and have worked with a message bus or event streaming system such as Kafka
Have owned a system end to end: set the design, made the tradeoffs, shipped it, and answered for it in production
Have integrated with external systems you did not control (vendor APIs, on-prem appliances, video platforms, building systems) and designed for a life beyond any one vendor
Have directed vendor or integrator work: written requirements and acceptance criteria, reviewed deliverables against them, and decided what gets accepted
Design for the failure you won't see coming (a silent feed, a lost network path, a replayed event, a de-tuned rule), know how your system behaves when a source lies or goes quiet, and test for it
Build tools for people who use them under pressure and iterate with those operators
Preferred qualifications
Experience building or operating a security operations platform (SOC, physical security operations, or the detection engineering behind one)
Experience building ML or computer vision inference pipelines over video and sensor streams
PSIM (physical security information management) or VMS (video management system) integration experience, or familiarity with physical access control and building systems data
Experience producing evidence for auditors or assessors: log integrity, retention, chain of custody
Experience using AI-assisted development tooling as a core part of your workflow
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Location: Berlin
Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix does not have a dedicated brand owner at group level today. We need someone who can set brand strategy for the group, hold the organisation to it, and personally run the work that brings it to life. This is not a strategist role with execution handed off to others. This is also not a job purely about ATL campaigns. You will cover a broad set of responsibilities in a hands on way, with a small team around you. You will have a very large amount of influence on the direction of our services and need to be comfortable working with product and marketing teams.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Brand strategy and positioning for the group across product, marketing, operations. Strategy is kept current as the market and the business change.
- Brand in the product, partnering with product and product marketing so brand shows up consistently in onboarding, in-product moments and lifecycle messaging.
- Product vision contributions including a brand perspective for roadmap and product strategy conversations.
- ATL strategy, planned and produced together with the in-house creative studio.
- End-to-end ATL campaigns, run autonomously from brief through concept, production, media and measurement.
- Brand research, initiated and run on your own initiative, so positioning and creative decisions rest on real customer and market data.
- Brand accountability, holding every team that touches the customer to our brand values, positioning and look & feel.
- Brand systems: The context, guidelines, examples that are consumed by AI agents by the rest of the company so they can be on-brand.
YOUR PROFILE
- You feel like the following applies to you: You have high standards and can switch off your ego, you have high agency, you followup & follow through, you are a self-starter, you improve yourself proactively, you want to learn, you are an excellent communicator across very diverse groups of people, you are analytical and can explain both your logic and your intuition. If most of these do not apply to you then you will not enjoy this role. If most do and you are not sure: Apply.
- 5+ years in brand, hands-on - you've made and run projects yourself, not just briefed people who did.
- A strong, current read on the market and category, with a record of turning that into decisions, built through real partnership with product and marketing as a peer
- German, native or fully fluent, comfortable working in English
- Built for a small team, self-directed, and you do a large share of the work yourself rather than only directing it.
- Direct and candid, with strong opinions loosely held, you say what you think, back it with reasoning, and change your mind when the evidence says so, without needing to be right
- You have interest in service design and how services provided by people and software come together in delightful user experiences.
- Sharp creative judgment and comfortable using AI across your workflow - research, drafting, production, with craft and taste always leading, never replaced by the tool; you know how AI is reshaping brand work and use it to get more out of a small team, not just to work faster
- A balance of rigor (data, measurement) with instinct, customer empathy and creative taste, earned somewhere you had to prove brand's value to product and performance teams, not just brand peers
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
Excited? So are we. Check out our Life at Taxfix https://www.linkedin.com/company/taxfix/life/8684512c-424f-44de-8d07-6e6b516e3319/?viewAsMember=true page on LinkedIn to get a glimpse of our culture.
At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences. We're proudly committed to equal employment and development opportunities no matter your gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, colour, disability, or place of origin. To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.

About the Role
We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the smart wallet and account abstraction layer of XsollaZK, Xsolla's Web3 platform on a zkSync-based L2. This is an individual contributor role with a large technical scope. You are the technical anchor for how millions of players get an on-chain account they never have to think about.
The product. Every player who signs in with Xsolla ID receives a deterministic, non-custodial smart account. The account is derived from their identity claim, is identical on every device, and its private keys never leave the client. It is not a separate wallet screen: it is the player's inventory. It backs:
minting and gifting;
trading on our Bazaar marketplace;
Merkle-based reward airdrops;
gas sponsorship;
an in-app dApp browser that exposes the same signer to third-party applications through an EIP-1193 provider.
Responsibilities
The technical strategy and architecture of the smart wallet platform: account model, signing, session management and gas abstraction at scale
The smart account and permissioning model, evolved to meet both product and compliance needs
The security model where our signer meets third-party applications: what a player is actually approving, and proof that the UI shows it
The custody and recovery roadmap, from today's interim mechanisms (including raw key export) to
MPC
-based custody
Cross-team technical decisions on account architecture, SDK contracts, data modeling and platform reliability, with buy-in from the wallet, marketplace, SDK, mobile and security teams
Engineering standards in the Web3 domain
Production escalations in the wallet and account abstraction domain
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design and evolve the
ERC

How We Work
Decisions in writing. Significant technical decisions are written up as an RFC or ADR that lays out the options and trade-offs. We work across time zones, so a design has to stand on its own.
AI is part of everyday engineering. We use AI coding tools for development and review, and we treat configuring them for a codebase as real engineering work.
HOW WE HIRE
Intro call. Your background, your motivation and the role.
Technical interview. Built directly on the What you will own and Required sections above. We won't ask about anything this posting doesn't promise.
System design. You design part of a wallet or account abstraction platform end to end and walk us through the trade-offs.
Bar raiser. An engineer from outside the hiring team checks that you raise the overall engineering bar.
Benefits
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes medical, dental, and vision, PTO, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. Mayflower is a technology company building high-load products used by millions of people worldwide. Operating at the scale of one of the world's top-50 websites, we solve complex engineering challenges and create solutions that power real-time entertainment for a global audience.
We are looking for a Lead ML Engineer to own a new ML stream focused on fast delivery of applied machine learning solutions across different product and business domains.
The stream will work with a broad range of ML challenges. Some initiatives may be relatively small and delivered within a few weeks, while others may prove their value and grow into larger dedicated projects.
This role combines hands-on ML engineering with end-to-end technical delivery ownership. You will receive product problems and expected outcomes from Product or internal stakeholders, clarify the technical requirements and constraints, define the implementation approach, coordinate execution within the stream, and bring solutions to production readiness and launch.
This is a highly hands-on role. The stream will not have a dedicated software engineer for every initiative, so we expect Data Scientists and ML Engineers to be comfortable working beyond experimentation and contributing directly to production code.
The role is not tied to a single ML domain. We value strong ML fundamentals, engineering skills, pragmatism, and the ability to quickly understand new problem areas more than deep specialization in one particular class of models.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Delivery Ownership
Turn product and business problems into concrete ML implementation plans.
Clarify requirements, constraints, available data, integrations, and success criteria together with Product and relevant stakeholders.
Define technical scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery estimates.
Select appropriate ML approaches and determine the fastest reliable way to validate and implement them.
Drive technical delivery through experimentation, implementation, integration, deployment, and launch readiness.
Keep delivery on track, proactively identify blockers, and coordinate dependencies with other teams.
Provide Product with clear technical options, trade-offs, estimates, risks, and experiment results required for product decisions.
Support production rollout and iteration based on observed results.
Hands-on ML & Engineering
Design, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models across different domains and problem types.
Write production-quality Python and contribute directly to implementation.
Build APIs, batch jobs, data-processing pipelines, and ML services required to deliver solutions where appropriate.
Work with classical ML, deep learning, and foundation-model-based approaches depending on the problem.
Process and transform large production datasets using Python and SQL.
Integrate models into existing production systems.
Implement appropriate testing, monitoring, logging, and observability for delivered ML solutions.
Work within the shared ML infrastructure, architecture, and engineering practices used across the company.
Collaborate with Data Science, Backend, Data Engineering, and MLOps specialists when deeper domain expertise or infrastructure changes are required.
Stream Execution
Break initiatives down into concrete technical tasks and coordinate execution within the stream.
Coordinate the work of Data Scientists and ML Engineers contributing to stream initiatives.
Review technical approaches, experiments, and implementation.
Keep the team focused on the agreed scope, priorities, and delivery timeline.
Identify technical risks and dependencies early and drive them to resolution.
Escalate architectural, infrastructure, or methodological questions when broader alignment is required.
Help prepare successful initiatives for scaling or transition into longer-term ownership if they grow beyond the scope of the stream.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Independently gather the technical details and constraints required to execute on a product request.
Communicate estimates, dependencies, technical trade-offs, and delivery status clearly.
Work directly with Engineering and other internal teams to unblock implementation.
Challenge technically unclear, contradictory, or infeasible requirements and propose practical alternatives.
You’ll thrive here if you have
5+ years of commercial experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or ML Engineering.
Strong hands-on Python programming and software engineering skills.
Experience taking ML solutions from a product requirement through experimentation, implementation, integration, and production.
Strong understanding of machine learning methods, statistics, experimentation, and model evaluation.
Experience writing maintainable production code rather than working exclusively in notebooks.
Experience building APIs, services, batch processing, or data pipelines.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large production datasets.
Practical experience with Docker and production deployment environments.
Ability to turn partially defined problems into concrete technical plans.
Ability to estimate work, identify dependencies and risks, and drive technical execution against a timeline.
Experience owning technical delivery involving several contributors and coordinating work across dependencies.
Experience reviewing code and technical approaches.
Ability to work effectively within established engineering and ML practices while independently owning delivery within a stream.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with Product and technical stakeholders.
Ability to balance speed and engineering quality: validate ideas quickly when uncertainty is high and build robust solutions when moving towards production.
Nice to Have
Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Stream Lead, or technical owner of ML initiatives.
Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD.
Experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
Experience with Airflow, MLflow, experiment tracking, model monitoring, or similar tooling.
Experience building real-time or high-load ML services.
Experience with FastAPI or similar Python service frameworks.
Experience across several ML domains, such as recommendation systems, ranking, NLP/LLMs, Computer Vision, anomaly detection, forecasting, or classification.
Experience with LLM inference, fine-tuning or other GenAI systems.
Experience in teams where Data Scientists and ML Engineers own a substantial part of production implementation themselves.

Capital.com builds and operates web and mobile trading platforms, public and partner APIs, and the backend services behind them, all in a highly regulated environment. As Application Security Architect, you will be the senior design authority for the security of these products. You will set the direction for how we secure software at scale: you will own secure-by-design patterns and standards, lead threat modelling and architecture reviews, and define the application security baseline that engineering teams build against.
Working closely with the Product Security team and the Director of Product Security, you will guide AppSec processes and set the vision for your area without direct line management. You will treat security as a shared outcome rather than a gate, balancing strong protection with developer experience and delivery speed, and you will earn adoption through enablement rather than mandates.
Responsibilities:
Security Architecture & Standards:
Define and maintain secure-by-default reference architectures for common patterns: web apps, mobile backends, microservices, public and partner APIs, and event-driven services
Own core application security architecture decisions: authentication and authorisation, session management, API security, secrets management, multi-tenant isolation, and security logging and auditing
Lead the redesign of user authentication and the delivery of security features into the product
Develop and roll out application security standards, secure-coding guidelines, configuration standards, reusable design patterns, and architecture decision records (ADRs) that engineers can apply without a security expert in the room
Define internal policies for the safe use of AI-assisted and vibe-coding tools
Define security requirements for acquired technology and guide its secure integration
Threat Modelling & Design Review:
Establish and run a threat-modelling operating model, covering scope, cadence, templates, and facilitation, proportionate to each product's risk tier
Own the security review stage of the new product approval process, covering architecture design and configuration
Lead design reviews for high-impact initiatives: new products, new auth flows, payment and sensitive-data flows, platform migrations, and major refactors
Identify design-level risks and agree practical, prioritised mitigations with engineering teams
Secure SDLC, DevSecOps & Supply Chain:
Assess the current state of application security, propose improvements, and drive the secure SDLC strategy with Engineering and Security leadership
Oversee AppSec processes and own the tooling strategy (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, and secrets scanning), including how findings flow back to engineering
Embed security controls as guardrails in CI/CD through policy-as-code, with agreed enforcement and escalation paths
Partner with DevOps to organise repository management and prevent supply-chain attacks, covering safe component usage, dependency management, SBOMs, and build integrity
Improve the security of our internal tools
Requirements:
Experience:
8+ years in technology, including 5+ years in a dedicated application or product security role, with a strong engineering background and hands-on architecture or design ownership
Proven track record creating, documenting, and rolling out security standards, patterns, and best practices across a complex engineering organisation
Deep, demonstrable threat-modelling experience across product portfolios
Technical:
Experience designing and implementing a secure SDLC in a cloud-native environment. Strong AWS knowledge is required, and exposure to GCP or other clouds is welcome
Strong command of OWASP standards (Top 10, ASVS) and DevSecOps practice, including AppSec tooling (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, secrets scanning) and vulnerability management
Deep understanding of modern distributed architectures: microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, event-driven systems, OAuth2/OIDC, and containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes). You should be able to reason about their trust boundaries, attack surface, and data flows across web and mobile clients
Collaboration:
Exceptional ability to influence and align engineering teams without direct authority, and to brief both engineers and executives
Pragmatism and strategic thinking: you balance the ideal with the achievable, protect delivery throughput, and turn long-term direction into an actionable plan
Clear written communication through diagrams, ADRs, and patterns, plus a track record of mentoring and cross-functional collaboration
Nice to have:
Experience in fintech, trading, brokerage, or another regulated environment
Awareness of relevant regulatory and compliance drivers: FCA and CySEC operational resilience, GDPR, and PCI DSS
Software supply-chain security, including SBOMs and artifact and build integrity
Experience securing AI-integrated product features, or using AI to scale an AppSec programme
Experience building or running a Security Champions programme
CSSLP, GIAC GDSA, or a hands-on offensive security certification. Certifications are valued but secondary to demonstrated experience
What you'll get in return:
You will join the company, that cares about work and life balance
Annual Bonus based on the performance review cycle
Generous Annual Leave Policy
Medical Insurance and Pension fund, with additional benefit packages based on the location
Hybrid working model (3 days from our modern office and 2 days fully remotely)
Comprehensive Workation Policy with 30 more remote days available.
Possibility of taking two additional days of paid leave per year to dedicate to volunteering efforts.
