ABOUT NIANTIC SPATIAL
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a staff member of the Map Team, you’ll own and drive significant parts of our Reconstruction and/or Localization technologies. You will be responsible for building the Map representing a living geospatial world model that can be simultaneously used to generate a high-fidelity 3D representations via Gaussian Splatting and Meshing, as well as the centimeter-level accuracy Visual Positioning System (VPS) that allows people and robots to explore the real world.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Technical Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of some of our core technologies, namely, Structure from Motion (SfM), Feed Forward and Foundational models, and high-fidelity 3D Reconstruction (e.g. meshing, gaussian splats).
- Applied Research: Up to speed state-of-the-art in relevant areas to be able to invent novel solutions in VPS and/or 3D Reconstruction alongside the team.
- System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable production-grade Computer Vision systems that power Niantic Spatial’s VPS, 3D Reconstruction and 3D Mapping pipelines.
- Algorithm optimization and production implementation: develop and optimize algorithms, train models, for high-accuracy and high-performance execution on CPU/GPU on the cloud or device as part of a reliable production system.
- Quality & Benchmarking: Drive decision-making creating high quality data that allows the accurate spatial grounding of AI queries with structural, semantic and location specific knowledge.
- Technical Strategy & Mentorship: Work with engineering leadership to define the technical roadmap and quarterly objectives for the Applied CV Team; provide high-level mentorship and code governance to elevate the team’s technical bar.
- Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with Product, Research, and Operations teams to ensure that state-of-the-art Computer Vision solutions translate into delightful user experiences.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Years of Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field (or 4+ years with a PhD in a relevant domain).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's or PhD preferred.

Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US.
As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Staff (L6) Product Designer to lead design for some of Synthesia's AI-native, agentic Sessions product surfaces.
Sessions are the experiences where employees learn through conversation, companies lrun a survey at scale, and AI becomes a direct participant in how work gets done - not just a tool behind the scenes.
This area is central to redefining what a video platform can be: moving upstream from content creation into workforce development, and making complex AI capabilities feel natural, trustworthy, and effective for everyday users.
You'll operate as a senior IC: setting direction, influencing roadmap decisions, shaping bets with Product and Engineering leaders, and raising the craft bar.
In practice, this role is about solving AI-native design problems, for example:
- Designing real-time, conversational avatar experiences that feel engaging and natural - not robotic or gimmicky - for employees learning and practising skills at work.
- Creating interaction patterns for AI-driven workflows that give users the right amount of control, transparency, and trust without overwhelming them with complexity.
- Improving output quality through better structure, guidance, and feedback loops - helping users understand what the AI is doing, catch issues early, and iterate with confidence.
- Working at the frontier where AI changes what "interaction" means, and the best patterns are genuinely still being invented.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Own major AI-native bets end-to-end, from problem framing to shipped outcomes and iteration.
- Set a design vision for our "Sessions" surface, and influence adjacent product areas to stay coherent.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define what "great" looks like (principles, quality bar, success metrics) and then drive toward it.
- Prototype and test interaction models quickly - including novel agentic and conversational patterns - and know when high-fidelity matters.
- Raise the bar on craft: interaction design, UI quality, systems thinking, and consistency across AI-native experiences.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF YOU BRING:
- Significant experience designing complex, high-usage product surfaces - ideally including AI-native products, agentic features, conversational interfaces, or products where the system takes meaningful autonomous action.
- Strong craft in interaction design and visual design, and a track record of shipping work that measurably improves the product experience.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity: you can turn unclear and fast-moving problem spaces into crisp direction, and you do not wait for perfect clarity.
- Systems thinking: you understand how AI capabilities, model constraints, and product architecture shape what's actually possible in the UX - not just what looks good on a screen.
- Excellent communication in design reviews and cross-functional decision-making contexts.
- Experience designing workflows where trust, transparency, and user control are central - helping users feel confident in AI-driven outputs rather than confused or excluded.
- A track record of tackling novel problems in maturing product spaces, and shaping the product from early-stage bets through to execution.
- The ability to leverage feedback from users and customers to ensure the product continues to meet real needs - including enterprise users with high stakes around quality, compliance, and scale.
AT SYNTHESIA WE EXPECT EVERYONE TO:

- Own it & Go Direct
- Be Fast & Experimental

THE ROLE:
Synthesia is used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. The largest deployments now run thousands of creators across dozens of markets, languages, and compliance regimes. What decides whether those accounts expand or stall is not another avatar - it's whether admins, legal teams, and programme owners can actually stay in control.
We're looking for a Staff (L6) Product Designer to own that layer end-to-end: workspace setup and governance, the content lifecycle, and the analytics and integrations that close the loop. This is the work that turns a proof of concept into a seven-figure renewal, and right now it is wide open.
You'll operate as a senior IC: setting direction, influencing roadmap decisions (not just contributing), shaping bets with Product and Engineering leaders, and raising the bar on how we think about enterprise design problems.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Own the Enterprise surface end-to-end, from problem framing to shipped outcomes and iteration - often dealing with ambiguity. You'll reach out to the right stakeholders, get the right eyes in the room, and make decisions independently.
- Design complex governance and compliance systems that give admins, legal teams, and compliance officers genuine control and transparency. Examples include:
- Permission models and role hierarchies that scale across thousands of creators without collapsing into chaos.
- Audit log experiences that make compliance auditable - not just for the system, but for the humans who need to understand what happened.
- Workspace setup and identity workflows that integrate with real enterprise infrastructure (SSO, SCIM, MCP).
- License and billing models that admins can actually understand and manage at scale.
- Analytics and reporting that tell admins whether their deployment is working as intended.
- Work with technical constraints and possibilities. You'll develop fluency in APIs, widget architectures, developer hub patterns, and how backend systems shape what's actually achievable in the UX. You're not designing in isolation from engineering - you're designing in partnership with it.
- Drive pragmatic iteration. You'll scope ruthlessly, build POCs to get signal early, and iterate based on what you learn from enterprise customers.
- Set a design vision for our Enterprise surface and influence adjacent product areas to stay coherent. As things scale across SSO, compliance, analytics, and billing, you're keeping the mental model consistent.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF YOU BRING:
- Significant experience designing complex, large-scale product surfaces - ideally admin dashboards, governance layers, analytics platforms, or other domains where system thinking matters.
- Technical fluency. You understand APIs, integrations, how services communicate, how widgets and developer hubs work. You can read a technical architecture doc and understand the constraints it creates for design. You don't need to be an engineer, but you think like one.
- Systems thinking: not just about interaction flows, but about enterprise systems. You understand how identity systems, compliance regimes, and scale constraints shape what's actually possible in the UX. You think in mental models and multi-step workflows, not single screens.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity: you can turn unclear and fast-moving problem spaces into crisp direction, and you do not wait for perfect clarity.
- Excellent communication in design reviews and cross-functional decision-making contexts.
- Experience designing workflows where trust, transparency, and user control are central - helping users feel confident in AI-driven outputs rather than confused or excluded.
- The ability to leverage feedback from users and customers to ensure the product continues to meet real needs - including enterprise users with high stakes around quality, compliance, and scale.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the Role
We're looking for an Engineer to lead the design and development of Vercel's Financial Data Platform, the foundational system that powers revenue reporting, consumption-based billing, financial forecasting, and compliance across the business. This is a unique opportunity to architect the data infrastructure that Finance, Accounting, and Revenue Operations depend on to close the books accurately, forecast revenue with confidence, and scale with the business.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Data Engineering, you'll define the technical vision for Vercel's financial data ecosystem, partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Revenue leadership to translate business and compliance requirements into scalable systems, and build reliable, auditable pipelines using modern technologies like Kafka, ClickHouse, Tinybird, and Snowflake.
You'll lead from the front, writing production-grade code, setting the bar for data accuracy and governance in a domain where correctness isn't optional, and mentoring a team of engineers as the function grows. If you're excited by the challenge of building financial-grade data systems that the business trusts for reporting, forecasting, and audit, we'd love to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Design and implement a data platform that supports revenue recognition, consumption-based billing, and financial reporting across batch and real-time workloads, leveraging Kafka and streaming technologies to power real-time usage and billing pipelines feeding revenue and consumption forecasts.
Work directly with FP&A, Accounting, and RevOps to understand reporting requirements, close-cycle timelines, and forecasting needs, translating them into technical architecture and ensuring data availability and accuracy align with financial reporting deadlines, audit cycles, and board-level reporting needs.
Define and maintain guidelines for financial data ingestion, transformation, and storage, with a focus on auditability, lineage, and data integrity, while overseeing data modeling, ETL, and warehousing (ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake) to support low-latency analytics and reliable historical reporting.
Develop end-to-end solutions across the finance data stack, setting the example for engineering excellence in a high-accountability domain, and mentor engineers on both technical craft and the added rigor required when data feeds directly into financial statements.
Partner with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit to ensure financial data pipelines meet SOX, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements, and champion high availability, fault tolerance, and auditability through comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
Drive architectural decisions and roadmap planning that balance efficiency, scalability, and the strict correctness requirements of financial systems, and evaluate build-vs-buy tradeoffs across financial and billing tooling (e.g., ERP, billing, and revenue platforms).
Build the data infrastructure that translates raw usage into revenue, supporting the forecasting models Finance and GTM rely on for target-setting and reporting, and collaborate with data science and FP&A teams on forecasting, incrementality analysis, and revenue modeling at scale.
Act as a key decision-maker for evaluating and selecting data architectures and technologies critical to Vercel's financial operations, and establish a multi-phase roadmap for finance data platform maturity aligned with company growth and audit readiness.
About You
8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a closely related field, with a track record of owning production data pipelines end-to-end.
Proven track record designing and operating large-scale data infrastructures in a complex, fast-paced environment, with experience across Kafka and its ecosystem (e.g., Kafka Streams, Confluent Platform), ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake, and broader big data frameworks.
Prior experience building data pipelines that feed financial reporting, revenue recognition, billing, or consumption-based pricing models, with familiarity with financial/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday) or billing platforms considered a strong plus.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated big data services.
Strong background in data governance, security, and compliance, including direct experience supporting audit, SOX, or SOC 2 requirements, and a rigorous approach to data lineage and accuracy.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate financial and accounting requirements into technical architecture and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Finance and Audit leadership.
A leadership mindset, with demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive consensus, and advocate for best practices in high-accountability data environments.
Industry recognition or notable contributions in data engineering (e.g., published works, open-source contributions) is a plus.

1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Provisioning helps organizations of all sizes deploy and manage 1Password through scalable provisioning and organization-management experiences. We build the workflows that help admins onboard people, manage access, and support long-term adoption, with a focus on reliable, secure, and intuitive experiences. As an intern on the team, you’ll work on frontend web experiences in React and TypeScript alongside engineers, product managers, and designers. Our current roadmap includes improving activation, invitation and provisioning-pipeline visibility, error recovery, and other Admin Console workflows.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada/US. This position will be for 4 months - January to April 2027.
What You Can Expect:
- Contribute to frontend features in the 1Password Admin Console using React, TypeScript, CSS, and established design-system patterns.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn customer and admin needs into simple, accessible experiences.
- Write maintainable code, tests, and documentation, and participate in code reviews, debugging, and quality improvements.
- Learn the Provisioning domain and help improve workflows such as onboarding, invitations, user-status visibility, and provisioning error handling.
- Work with the team to investigate problems, communicate progress, and deliver incremental improvements safely.
What we're looking for:
- Confidence: A willingness to take on new challenges, and see them through to completion.
- Humility: You're not afraid to ask "stupid" questions and make mistakes (as long as you learn from them).
- Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are.
- Teamwork: We work together, and succeed as a team!
- Technical foundations: Working knowledge of React and familiarity with TypeScript and CSS fundamentals.
- Web development foundations: Comfort with HTML, browser behavior, accessibility, Git, and learning established patterns in an existing codebase.
- Project experience: Experience building a small web project through coursework, an internship, personal work, or open source contributions.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with React and TypeScript beyond coursework, including a personal, school, or open source project.
- Familiarity with design systems or component libraries, and with Figma or a similar design tool.
- Exposure to frontend testing tools such as Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Understanding of API integration, asynchronous JavaScript, or backend concepts.
- Interest in security, identity, access management, or building tools for administrators.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged at 1Password—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of most roles. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
What we offer
We believe in working hard, and rewarding that hard work through our benefits. While not an exhaustive list, here is a glance at what we currently offer:
🏝 Generous PTO policy - 2.08 days per month (1.5 work weeks per 4 month term)
💖 Company-wide wellness days (1 per quarter)
🌎 Employee-led inclusion and belonging programs and ERGs
🏠 Remote-first environment

We are looking for an Associate HR Analyst, to join the Human Resources team in Manila, supporting our APAC markets. This is an early-career position that plays a key operational role supporting our Regional HR Business Partners (HRBPs), ensuring our people processes run smoothly across multiple markets.
You will work closely with the Regional HRBP, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition (TA), People Service Delivery (PSD), and business leaders across the region, contributing to a seamless employee experience and helping turn people priorities into action. You will support key HR processes, provide insights and follow-up, and help ensure that our people practices are consistently and effectively delivered across the region in line with global guidelines.
This role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is energized by problem-solving. It is a permanent, hybrid position based in Manila, with three days per week in the office.
What You Will Do
Hiring and Selection
Support the Regional HRBP in submitting hiring requests to TA through Workday
Share regular updates with the Regional HRBP on hiring status and flag any potential hiring risks or challenges
Onboarding and Offboarding
Coordinate and facilitate welcome meetings and inductions for new hires
Ensure hiring managers take an active role in a standardized onboarding and induction template, and contribute to the onboarding process where necessary
Conduct the scheduled check-in meetings with new employees and their managers; document key findings and flag risks to the Regional HRBP
Track onboarding and offboarding processes: documentation, system updates, coordination with legal providers, and final payment follow-up
Conduct the exit interview for voluntary resignations and analyze exit surveys to flag risks or challenges to the Regional HRBP
Ensure all people movement events are processed accurately and on time in Workday
HR Employee Support
Act as a point of contact for complex HR queries related to employee relations, policies and procedures, performance, and compensation from employees and managers across APAC
Collaborate with PSD on complex employee queries related to other HR topics such as time-off requests and balances, Workday challenges, and more
Liaise with PSD on open Jira tickets and ensure timely resolution and follow-up
Actively contribute to the FAQ and knowledge base for recurring questions to reduce query volume over time, in partnership with the broader HR team
Engagement Plan Execution Support
Support the execution of the APAC Engagement Plan (Career Path Program, Recognition Program, AI and Automation initiatives)
Coordinate logistics for engagement activities: communications, scheduling, materials, and tracking
Assist in collecting and organizing data for engagement surveys and post-program follow-ups
HR Systems and Data Integrity (HRIS)
Own the accuracy of Workday organizational structures: positions, attributes, reporting lines, and job profiles
Perform regular audits to ensure all people movements (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations) are correctly reflected in the system
Cross-check open positions in Workday against workforce planning data and flag discrepancies to the Regional HRBP
Coordinate with HR teams globally to resolve data inconsistencies
Prepare HR reports on demand: headcount, open positions, engagement metrics, and data sanity checks
Support the Regional HRBP with data preparation for leadership presentations and business reviews
Maintain data hygiene across HR tracking tools (spreadsheets, Workday exports, dashboards)
What We Are Looking For
Background
A degree in Human Resources (Human Resource Management), Labor Relations, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
Experience
1 to 3 years of HR experience in dynamic, fast-moving environments (for example HR operations, HR generalist, or HRIS support)
Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday experience is a strong plus, not a requirement)
Exposure to multi-country HR operations is valued but not mandatory
Skills
Advanced English, written and spoken; most team communication is in English
Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides): advanced level required
AI tools literacy (familiarity with Claude or similar tools is a plus)
Analytical mindset: comfortable working with data, spotting inconsistencies, and building clean reports
What Will Set You Apart
High tolerance for ambiguity: you don’t need everything to be defined to take action
Dynamism: you shift context quickly and don’t lose quality when the pace picks up
Comfort with uncertainty: you see change as the norm, not the exception
Proactive communication: you flag issues before they become problems
Discretion: you handle sensitive information with care and sound judgment
Why Join Aleph
Real impact across APAC:
Your accuracy in Workday and your follow-through keep hiring, onboarding, and people movements running smoothly across multiple markets, and your insights help the Regional HRBP and business leaders decide what to do next.
A clear path into HR business partnering:
Learn the HRBP craft from the inside (employee relations, workforce planning data, leadership business reviews) with day-to-day exposure to the Director, HR Business Partners.
Collaborative, supportive team culture:
Work alongside Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and People Service Delivery colleagues in an English-speaking team that values proactive communication, discretion, and flagging issues early.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
About Grafana Labs:
There are more than 700,000 active installations of Grafana around the globe, monitoring everything from beehives to climate change in the Alps. The instantly recognizable dashboards have been spotted everywhere from a SpaceX launch and Minecraft HQ to Wimbledon and the Tour de France. Grafana Labs also helps companies including Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay manage their observability strategies with full-stack offerings that can be run fully managed with Grafana Cloud, or self-managed with Grafana Enterprise Stack. The Grafana stack has grown to include more open-source projects, including Grafana Loki (for logs) and Grafana Tempo (for traces) and Grafana Mimir (for metrics).
Description of Duties
We’re looking for a Staff Technical Writer to create documentation and learning content that helps people adopt and master Grafana’s observability products. You’ll work with engineers, product managers, and the Grafana writing team to produce content for a range of products and audiences, from first-time users to experienced practitioners. Because our products and priorities evolve, we’re looking for someone who learns new technical domains quickly.
AI is part of how this team works. We use AI-assisted workflows and tools throughout the content lifecycle, from research and drafting to review, validation, and maintenance. You’ll use these tools every day and help the team get better at using them.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, research, write, and maintain documentation and learning content (concepts, tasks, tutorials, references, and in-product learning) that supports adoption and long-term product mastery.
Use AI tools and workflows to work faster and at a higher quality: drafting, structuring, technical validation, consistency checks, and keeping content current. You apply human judgment to everything AI produces and take responsibility for its accuracy.
Contribute to the team’s shared AI workflows and skills, and look for ways to improve and automate how we create and maintain content as tools and models evolve.
Partner with engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, interview subject matter experts, and turn complex technical detail into clear, accurate content.
Test what you document. Run the software, follow your own procedures, and flag product and UX gaps you find along the way.
Let data guide your priorities. We have strong docs and learning analytics. You’ll use them, along with user feedback, to find content gaps, prioritize your work, and show the impact of what you ship.
Work with the documentation manager and other writers to improve information architecture, voice, and consistency across our docs, and to make information easy to find for both people and AI-driven search and assistants.
Manage several projects at once, using judgment to prioritize and communicate clearly when the plan changes.
Mentor teammates and share practices that raise the quality of the team’s work.
Requirements
What experience would make someone be successful in this role?
Experience writing or documenting enterprise or developer-facing software, with a portfolio or writing samples that show technical depth.
Hands-on experience using AI tools and models in your writing workflow (such as LLM assistants, agentic coding tools, or custom prompts and skills), and the ability to explain how you evaluate and verify their output.
Experience working with docs-as-code: command-line Git, GitHub (pull requests and reviews), Markdown, and common IDEs.
Comfort working in technical environments. You can set up, run, and troubleshoot software yourself to verify what you write (for example, command line, containers, or Kubernetes, or a willingness to learn quickly).
Experience collaborating with engineers and product managers to get accurate technical information.
Experience working remotely and asynchronously on a distributed team.
What you’ll bring to the role
Curiosity about AI as a craft. You treat AI workflows as a professional skill. You experiment, share what works, and know where AI helps and where it doesn’t.
Technical credibility. You care about accuracy, you learn new technical domains quickly, and you ask questions until you understand them.
Strong judgment and editing skills. You can tell good content from plausible-sounding content, and you hold the line on quality.
Ownership. You manage multiple projects and work well both independently and collaboratively.
Clarity. You write concisely and plainly for readers of all experience levels.
Bonus: Experience with observability, monitoring, or cloud-native tooling, or contributing to open source documentation.

We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
