Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Principal Product Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer with deep expertise in product security, threat modelling, and risk assurance for highly regulated electromechanical systems. In this role, you will lead the delivery of product cybersecurity across Humanoid's HMND 01 platform family — the Alpha Wheeled industrial robot and the Alpha Bipedal home robot — both powered by our KinetIQ VLM/VLA-based AI framework. Working alongside product, firmware, autonomy, and hardware teams as part of the Systems Engineering and Architecture Team, you will define and maintain the cybersecurity assurance strategy for all product security activities from first concept through post-market deployment. Security at Humanoid is an engineering discipline inseparable from functional safety and central to our mission of creating the world's most reliable, commercially scalable, and safe humanoid robots. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate the authority to influence security architecture decisions across complex, cross-functional programmes, the rigour to build defensible security cases for novel cyber-physical systems, and the leadership to grow and guide a cross team of security engineers operating at the frontier of robotics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Team Leadership & Product Security Delivery
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team of security engineers, maintaining accountability for the delivery of product security services within product teams throughout the HMND 01 development lifecycle.
- Define product security requirements and advise development teams on suitable implementation standards, techniques, and toolchains for embedded and AI-enabled robotic systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop security protocols, tools, and processes that keep HMND 01 technologies ahead of emerging threats — including attack surfaces specific to the KinetIQ AI inference pipeline and cloud-to-robot communication architecture.
- Own and maintain key security artefacts for audit-ready cybersecurity documentation including Security Management Plans, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) reports, Risk Assessments, and Remediation Action Plans across both platforms.
Security Assurance & Certification
- Drive security assurance through the full product lifecycle, ensuring every HMND 01 design is robust, compliant, and resilient. Contribute to the continual improvement of security engineering capability across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity obligations under the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 where cyber controls intersect with safety-critical functions and compliance to IEC 62443 (for industrial/OT product security), and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
- Provide independent Information Assurance (IA) reviews and risk assessments on complex, high-impact projects — with particular focus on cyber-physical systems where a digital compromise could result in physical harm to operators or end users.
- Review and provide guidance on security risk assessments, risk mitigation plans, mitigation gap analysis, and security management documentation in support of system cybersecurity certification.
Incident Response & Lifecycle Security
- Establish and maintain a Product Security Incident Response (PSIR) process, encompassing coordinated vulnerability disclosure, patch deployment pipelines, and post-field incident analysis.
- Define and oversee security monitoring requirements for deployed fleets, ensuring field data feeds back into risk files and security artefacts in line with post-market surveillance obligations.
Commercial & Bid Support
- Support the production of work package descriptions and cost estimates for product bids, services, and proposals that include product security scope.
- Represent Humanoid's security posture in customer and partner engagements, including regulatory consultations and certification body interactions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven, hands-on experience with ISO 27001/27004/27005 and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), applied to regulated hardware or embedded product programmes.
- Experience owning a security risk management system for highly regulated, safety-critical products — with background drawn from automotive, commercial vehicle, or industrial automation environments.
- Working knowledge of IEC 62443, with the ability to adapt ISO/SAE 21434 lifecycle methodologies to robotic or electromechanical product context.
- Solid understanding of engineering development lifecycles and how the product cybersecurity specialism aligns with systems engineering, functional safety, and hardware/software co-development.
- Ability to interpret Penetration Test reports and author Remediation Action Plans that address identified vulnerabilities in a structured, risk-prioritised manner.
- Clear, structured communication skills — able to articulate complex security risk arguments to both technical engineers and executive stakeholders with equal confidence.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) or equivalent threat modelling methodologies (STRIDE, PASTA) applied to embedded or OT/IT convergent systems.
- Understanding of secure-by-design principles for AI/ML-enabled systems, including securing inference pipelines, model integrity, and cloud-to-edge communication paths.
- Exposure to CAN bus, Ethernet backbone, or wireless interface security in mobile, vehicular, or robotic systems.
- Experience contributing to or establishing a Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT) process or coordinated vulnerability disclosure programme.
- Knowledge of UL 4600, UL 3300, or ISO 13482 and an appreciation of how cybersecurity evidence integrates into safety case arguments.
- Prior engagement with certification bodies (TUV, UL, BSI) or standards development organisations (ISO TC 184, IEC TC 65, SAE, IEEE RAS).
WHAT WE OFFER
- Comprehensive health coverage for US‑based employees, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, with virtual care and employee assistance resources.
- Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of PTO (accrued), separate sick leave, and paid company holidays.
- 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match.
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- Free daily catered lunch, snacks, and drinks in‑office.
- Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics.
- Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives.

About the Role
We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer to lead technical direction across GitLab's Core DevOps services, the systems the majority of our users touch every day. Distinguished Engineers are recognized experts across multiple technology domains and represent the most senior level of technical leadership within and across divisions at the company.
Core DevOps builds continuous Integration, continuous deployment, planning, and source control experiences. These are among the most mature, highest traffic, and most deeply interconnected systems at GitLab. They carry years of accumulated architectural decisions, they sit in the critical path of our customers' own delivery pipelines, and they are being reshaped by the shift toward AI native development. The job is to raise their quality, converge them onto a coherent go-forward architecture, and retire accumulated risk, all without interrupting the millions of users and Fortune 100 organizations who depend on them.
GitLab is pursuing a set of company-wide engineering goals: large gains in developer productivity, measurably higher quality in what we ship, and engineering practices reshaped around AI and agentic workflows. Core DevOps is where much of that strategy has to land, because these are the services our own engineers and our customers depend on daily. In this role you will bring that strategy into Core DevOps in a form that works for long lived production systems, and carry what you learn here back out to the rest of engineering.
What You'll Do
Set and continuously refine the go forward technical direction for CI, CD, Plan, and source code experiences, aligned against the horizontal architectural initiatives.
Work directly with the VP of Engineering as her technical counterpart on planning, technical investment, and where the group's engineering effort should go.
Translate GitLab's company-wide productivity, quality, and AI native engineering goals into concrete technical direction for Core DevOps, and turn into iterable roadmaps, partnering broadly across the org.
Define what good means in measurable terms for these services, including availability, latency at p95 and p99, pipeline success rate, test reliability, data correctness, and defect escape rate, then hold designs and implementations to it.
Maintain a clear and current picture of systemic technical risk across the group, including single points of failure, unowned critical paths, brittle coupling between CI/CD and Plan, scaling limits, and past decisions that now constrain the roadmap. Drive a prioritized plan to retire it.
Lead the hardest design decisions hands on, writing code, prototypes, and proofs of concept where a design argument needs evidence behind it.
Drive convergence on shared patterns, libraries, and paved paths, reducing how many different ways the same problem gets solved across the group.
Design migration paths that let large, long lived systems change underneath users without breaking them, using incremental cutover, dual run, measurable rollback, and deprecation with clear timelines.
Adopt the platform capabilities coming from GitLab's AI organization and the company's productivity initiatives into Core DevOps, feed this group's requirements back into them, and help prove what works on systems of this scale and maturity.
Serve as the escalation point for complex or contested technical decisions across the group, including those where no single team owns the outcome.
Review significant designs and merge requests in the group's critical paths, and use review to teach rather than only to gate.
Ensure designs hold across GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments, and respect multi-tenant, compliance, and data governance boundaries in each.
Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and SRE so Core DevOps services are observable and debuggable, and so failure modes degrade gracefully instead of cascading.
Make architectural constraints and opportunities clear to Product in roadmap terms, so that technical investment and product ambition get planned together instead of traded off late.
Write clear, opinionated design documents, architecture narratives, and decision records that let teams across the group make aligned decisions independently.
Grow Principal and Staff Engineers across Core DevOps, raise the bar on design rigor and technical writing, and contribute to the technical hiring bar for senior individual contributors.
Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation to help meet availability goals for GitLab.com, and complete Interview Training to participate in hiring as a technical interviewer or panel member.
What You'll Bring
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
Deep expertise in AI and ML systems, including large language models, agentic frameworks, and autonomous workflow design at production scale.
Proven track record of leading hands-on technical experimentation, including defining evaluation frameworks, running benchmarks, and translating findings into scalable architecture decisions.
Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems, including service decomposition, fault tolerance, observability, and operational resilience.
Experience designing and implementing human-in-the-loop controls, safety guardrails, and responsible AI practices for production systems.
Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams or divisions without direct authority.
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed organization with excellent written and asynchronous communication skills.

Who You Are
You're a seasoned project controls professional with 7+ years managing schedule, cost, change, and documentation on large-scale, mission-critical construction programs — ideally in data centers, schedule-driven sector where downtime isn't an option. You read a P6 schedule critically — spotting broken logic, float that's been quietly manipulated, and a critical path that's about to move before it shows up in next week's update. You can pick apart a change order line by line and know a GMP well enough to catch a buyout gap before it becomes a claim.
You're equally comfortable pushing back on a general contractor in a weekly OAC meeting and briefing an executive on cost and schedule risk in five minutes flat. You don't wait to be asked for bad news — you surface it early, with the data to back it up. You build trust with GCs, design consultants, finance, and leadership not by being agreeable, but by being fair, prepared, and unwilling to accept a story that doesn't add up.
You think in systems — cost, schedule, risk, and change aren't separate disciplines to you, they're one integrated view of program health — and you're comfortable operating in an environment where the schedule compresses, the scope shifts, and the stakes don't.
What You'll Do
Manage the third-party scheduling consultants who review, analyze, and maintain the master schedule, setting expectations for quality, cadence, and reporting
Work directly with general contractors to review and validate their schedules — testing logic, durations, critical path, float, and sequencing against owner milestones
Own schedule health reporting to leadership, giving a clear, honest picture of progress, risk, and forecast, and escalating issues before they become delays
Own the change order process end-to-end: intake, review, verification, negotiation, and resolution
Critically evaluate change orders for scope, pricing, and schedule impact — verifying quantities, labor, markups, and backup rather than taking submissions at face value
Negotiate change orders directly with the general contractor to protect Galaxy's cost and schedule position
Represent Galaxy in weekly change and progress meetings with the GC, driving accountability and timely closure of open items
Maintain a complete, auditable change order log reconciled against the project budget and GMP
Serve as the bridge between field/GC reality and Finance's cost picture, ensuring both tell the same story
Own documentation control for active projects — RFIs, submittals, change documentation, meeting records, and contractual correspondence
Establish and improve project controls standards, templates, reporting, and governance across the portfolio
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of project controls or construction management experience on large-scale, complex programs; mission-critical or data center experience required
Proven experience managing schedule on the owner's side, including oversight of scheduling consultants and review of GC-maintained schedules
Deep, hands-on command of CPM scheduling and Primavera P6 — enough to interrogate a schedule, not just read one
Demonstrated experience owning the change order process, including verification and direct negotiation with general contractors
Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and GMP structures (AIA A133/A201 or similar)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to hold GCs accountable and brief executives with equal credibility
Ability to manage controls across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What You Bring
An owner's mindset — you protect the schedule, the GMP, and the record as if the capital were your own, and you hold contractors and consultants to that same standard.
The credibility to sit across from a general contractor and negotiate change with confidence, and the judgment to know which battles matter.
A sharp, detail-driven eye that catches the number that doesn't hold up, the logic that doesn't sequence, and the risk before it becomes a delay.
The versatility to move fluidly between the field, the GC, Finance, and the executive table, tailoring the message to each without losing the thread.
A bias for order and structure — you bring discipline to controls, documentation, and reporting in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Willingness to travel up to 20% to Data Center sites as the work requires.
What We Offer:
Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
Flexible Time Off (i.e. unlimited paid vacation days)
Company paid Holidays (14)
Company paid sick leave
Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
3% 401(k) company contribution
Generous paid Parental Leave
Free virtual coaching and counseling sessions through Ginger
Free daily snacks in-office
Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues

*Benefits may vary depending on location.

Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer focused on robotics deployment. You will take state-of-the-art AI models and make them work on real robots, in real environments, for real customers. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of machine learning and physical systems: you will own the path from model to deployed autonomy, working alongside robotics engineers, ML researchers, and systems engineers to deliver end-to-end autonomous solutions across diverse use cases.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Integrate AI models with robotic hardware, sensors, and embedded systems, bringing modern perception and language-driven capabilities onto physical platforms.
- Improve the robustness, reliability, and safety of robotic systems operating in real-world, unstructured environments.
- Test and validate algorithms in simulation and in real-world deployments, moving fluidly between the two.
- Analyze field data to improve model performance and system reliability, closing the loop between what happens on the robot and what happens in training.
- Bring up, tune, and debug the autonomy stack — localization, mapping, navigation, and perception — on real hardware, from sensor calibration to real-time performance.
- Develop and tune robot navigation behaviors — path planning, obstacle avoidance — so systems hold up in dynamic, cluttered, and partially observable environments.
- Diagnose failures end-to-end: mapping drift, localization dropouts, perception edge cases, timing issues — and fix them.
- Collaborate with robotics engineers, ML researchers, and systems engineers to deliver complete autonomous solutions for customer use cases, from prototype through production deployment.
- Build and maintain the tooling needed for deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of deployed systems.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong software engineering in Python and/or C++: clean, readable, high-performance code; comfortable working in and improving production codebases.
- Knowledge of robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2.
- Experience with robot perception and state estimation: SLAM, localization and mapping, path planning, sensor fusion, or computer vision.
- Solid mathematical fundamentals — geometry, probability, and estimation — and the judgment to know when a hand-crafted algorithm beats a learned one.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and robotics development environments (e.g. Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable with the messiness of the real world: hardware quirks, edge cases, and field surprises don't scare you.
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Doesn't need roadmaps. Ships.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience deploying ML models on embedded or edge hardware (GPU/NPU inference, quantization, real-time constraints).
- Hands-on experience with sensor modalities such as LiDAR, depth cameras, or IMUs, including calibration and time-synchronization.
- Exposure to VLM/VLA models or other foundation-model approaches for robot perception and control.
- Experience with navigation in GPS-denied or otherwise challenging environments, or with visual-inertial odometry.
- Working knowledge of established autonomy tooling — e.g. Nav2, SLAM Toolbox, Cartographer, RTAB-Map, or AMCL — and knowing when to build versus reuse.
- Experience with behavior trees, dynamic costmaps, or fleet-level navigation.
- Contributions to open-source robotics or ML projects.
- Experience with safety-critical or regulated deployment environments.
- Track record of success through personal projects, professional projects, or academia.

An overview of this role
We are hiring a Staff Product Security Architect to join our Security Platforms and Architecture organization at GitLab.
Rather than operating as a purely consultative body, Security Architecture at GitLab functions as a hands-on technical driver. Our mission is to embed proactive guidance directly into modern developer workflows and automated coding environments, embedding security standards into the software development process from the outset. We strive to enable teams to deliver secure, resilient software seamlessly while minimizing reliance on manual security gates.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product engineering organizations, spearhead architectural strategy for critical capabilities, and serve as the primary Security Owner driving risk reduction for key entries within our risk management framework. Your daily work will span architectural design reviews, technical prototyping, and establishing scalable patterns that enable engineering teams to execute autonomously.
What you’ll do
Partner with engineering and product leadership across GitLab, developing enough context in their domains to anticipate security problems rather than react to them
Lead security architecture and design work for strategic initiatives, and provide direction to the cross-functional teams delivering them
Identify, assess, and prioritise systemic security risks, and act as Security Owner for high-priority items in the Product Security Risk Register, co-executing remediation with the teams who own the code
Codify recurring security decisions into reusable artifacts — guardrails, standards, design patterns, skills, and reference threat models — delivered into developer and AI coding tool workflows
Build proofs of concept and prototypes to unblock engineering teams and shorten the distance between a security requirement and a working implementation
Conduct security architecture reviews for large or strategic projects, and coordinate with Application Security so that review coverage is comprehensive and correctly prioritised
Threat model new and existing systems, and establish the patterns that let teams threat model their own work
Work with Security Research on proactive exploration of unknown risks in GitLab's architecture
Anticipate emerging security challenges and propose architectural responses before they reach implementation
Mentor security engineers across the division, and represent security architecture to engineering audiences
What you’ll bring
Depth in application security architecture, including authentication and authorization models, privilege escalation, multi-tenant isolation, and trust boundary analysis
Experience securing distributed systems, including service-to-service authentication, secrets handling, and the failure modes of security decisions made across process boundaries
Working knowledge of software supply chain security: build and release integrity, artifact provenance, and dependency risk
A track record of proactive architecture work — identifying risk before it becomes an incident, and designing something that prevents a class of problem rather than an instance of one
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with engineering leadership and influence technical direction through expertise rather than gatekeeping
Experience defining security standards or patterns that teams adopted without being compelled to
The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on, including reading unfamiliar code, building prototypes, and contributing changes
Clear written communication, and the ability to make a security argument to an engineering audience that does not already agree with it
A view on how security guidance should be authored and delivered for AI coding tools, not only for humans

🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

Ability to work in English, or experience building global and multi-region systems.
Demonstrated technical judgment, business impact, or zero-to-one ownership in previous projects.
The Kind of Candidate We Hope to Meet
You can clearly explain the most complex problem you have solved, how you formed your judgment, and how you drove the solution to completion.
You have one or more clear strengths. We do not expect experience in every area, but we value meaningful depth or exceptional potential in at least one direction.
You are willing to understand users and business context instead of passively receiving requirements.
You are open to unfamiliar domains and can use AI and team collaboration to close knowledge gaps quickly.

About the Job:
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead LaunchDarkly’s Cloud Engineering team, the team responsible for the foundational infrastructure our products and engineering teams depend on.
Cloud Engineering owns LaunchDarkly’s AWS accounts and networking, multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure, Terraform and GitOps workflows, CockroachDB operations, disaster-recovery capabilities, and FedRAMP infrastructure posture. The team is small, senior, and recently rebuilt. This is a frontline leadership role for a manager who treats operational health as a top priority, leads calmly through incidents, and creates leverage through software, automation, and reliable paved paths.
In your first year, you’ll lead a marquee infrastructure insourcing program from planning through completion. The program’s cost savings will help fund additional team growth, giving you the opportunity to deliver meaningful business impact while strengthening the infrastructure behind LaunchDarkly’s next stage of scale.
This role combines people leadership, operational ownership, and technical judgment. You do not need to be the most senior individual contributor in the room, but you should be comfortable partnering with experienced engineers, guiding tradeoffs, and creating an environment where the team can do its best work.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a senior Cloud Engineering team, providing clear expectations, coaching, feedback, performance management, and career-development support.
Own the operational health of LaunchDarkly’s cloud infrastructure, including incident response, on-call health, service-level objectives, resilience, and disaster recovery.
Launch and deliver a multi-quarter infrastructure insourcing program, including sequencing work, managing dependencies, communicating milestones, and ensuring a successful transition.
Guide technical priorities and tradeoffs across AWS infrastructure, networking, multi-region Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, GitOps, datastore operations, and compliance-related infrastructure.
Build leverage through software, automation, and paved paths that help product engineering teams use infrastructure safely and independently.
Support migrations by providing guidance, patterns, and enablement while maintaining clear ownership boundaries with partner teams.
Establish team norms for effective AI-assisted engineering and identify opportunities to reduce operational toil through AI and automation.
Maintain team health and continuity through change, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable environment.
Partner with Service Frameworks, Core Platform, Revenue Platform, Data Platform, and product engineering teams on shared infrastructure priorities and cross-team dependencies.
Communicate roadmaps, operational risks, investment needs, and progress clearly to engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Participate in hiring and team planning as the organization grows.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing an infrastructure, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering team at a product company, including people management of an on-call team.
Demonstrated ownership of incident response, on-call health, and service-level objective frameworks for critical production systems.
Experience leading at least one multi-quarter infrastructure migration or insourcing program from planning through completion.
Technical fluency with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices, with the judgment to guide discussions and tradeoffs with senior engineers.
Experience taking over an established team and maintaining engagement, performance, and retention through a leadership transition.
A clear point of view on team norms and practices for AI-assisted engineering.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and operational priorities to a range of audiences.
A thoughtful, calm, and accountable leadership approach, particularly during incidents and periods of change.
Nice to Haves
Experience with vendor negotiations or cloud cost management.
Experience supporting FedRAMP or other compliance-related infrastructure and operations.
Experience operating large-scale datastores or OLAP systems.
Experience growing a team through funded expansion.
