ABOUT THE TEAM
The Applied AI for Defense team is Mistral's specialized unit dedicated to delivering high-impact, secure AI solutions for institutions operating in highly regulated and strategic environments. We work hand-in-hand with clients to design, deploy, and maintain AI systems that meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and operational excellence, including on-premise, disconnected, and air-gapped deployments.
As an AI Deployment Strategist on this team, you will drive the adoption and deployment of Mistral's AI solutions inside sovereign institutions and critical infrastructure, working closely with customers from strategic vision to production implementation. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, AI innovation, and hands-on deployment, under real operational, security, and compliance constraints. You will partner with senior leaders and mission owners to design AI roadmaps, collaborate with the Applied AI team to deliver solutions in production, and ensure seamless transitions from presales to postsales. Your work will directly contribute to projects with significant societal, operational, and strategic impact.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategic Discovery & Vision Setting
- Lead executive-level and mission-owner workshops to identify challenges and opportunities where Mistral's AI can drive step-change improvements in strategic environments.
- Co-create AI adoption roadmaps with customers, articulating the "art of the possible" and a clear path to value within their regulatory and security perimeter.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop business cases, quantify impact, and align solutions with mission and organizational objectives.
AI Solution Design & Deployment
- Architect end-to-end AI solutions, integrating Mistral's models and platform into customer workflows and secure technical infrastructure (cloud, on-premise, disconnected, air-gapped).
- Partner with the Applied AI team to design, prototype, and deploy AI solutions in production, ensuring scalability, security, and impact.
- Own the execution of pilots and proofs-of-value, demonstrating the potential of our technology and paving the way for full-scale deployment.
Value Realization & Customer Success
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding their AI strategy and ensuring they maximize the value of their investment in Mistral.
- Monitor key performance indicators tied to operational and business outcomes, and communicate progress to executive sponsors.
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities across use cases and units, building on initial successes to drive long-term partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between customers and Mistral's internal teams, synthesizing feedback to influence product, science, and security roadmaps.
- Develop reusable assets, best practices, and playbooks to scale go-to-market efforts and ensure consistent delivery excellence in regulated settings.
- Travel (~30-60%) to foster deep client relationships and support on-site deployment.
HOW WE WORK IN SOLUTIONS
- We care about people and outputs. What matters is what you ship, not the time you spend on it.
- Bureaucracy is where urgency goes to vanish. You talk to whoever you need to talk to. The best idea wins, whether it comes from a principal engineer or someone in their first week.
- Always ask why. The best solutions come from deep understanding, not from copying what worked before.
- We say what we mean. Feedback is direct, timely, and given because we care.
- No politics. Low ego, high standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years in a client-facing strategic and technical role (e.g. data science consulting, value engineering, or technical sales).
- A degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering).
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML/Data Science, with the credibility to advise both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications (Python, JavaScript, or similar) to demonstrate value.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges into actionable solutions.
- Executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders (VP, C-level, mission owners).
- Resilient, results-driven, and comfortable leading through influence in a collaborative environment.
- Comfort operating under security, compliance, and confidentiality constraints.
- Experience with sales qualification frameworks (e.g. MEDDPICC) and value-based selling is a plus.
- Experience deploying AI in regulated or sovereign environments (defense, public sector, critical infrastructure) is a plus.
SECURITY & COMPLIANCE CRITERIA
- Eligibility: must hold citizenship in the target territory (France for now).
- Clearable: must meet all local requirements for high-level security clearance (e.g. no criminal record, fulfillment of national service obligations).

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will lead Notion’s GTM strategy and growth for France, one of EMEA’s largest and highest-priority markets. France is a Tier 1 region in Notion’s country-first EMEA model, with significant room to scale into a standalone, high-growth business.
Notion is shifting from a traditional sales model toward a builder-led model with fewer handoffs, stronger technical fluency, and more direct ownership of customer outcomes. As General Manager, France, you will be the second-line leader responsible for overall revenue outcomes, regional GTM strategy, and the operating model for the French business. You will lead through frontline managers, teams of Business Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants and Outcomes Architects as well as partner cross functionally with Professional Services, Channel Partnerships and RevOps.
This is a hands-on builder-leader role for an AI-native, country-first GTM model. You will bring Notion’s new GTM model to life in France: moving from a segment-first motion to a country-first, AI-native operating system where teams help customers diagnose problems, design agentic workflows, and build real systems with Notion AI.
This role sits on the EMEA Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, EMEA.
This role will be based in Paris. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the GTM strategy, operating rhythm, and growth plan for France, with accountability for overall regional revenue outcomes across Sales Assist and Self Serve contribution.
- Lead as a second-line manager: hire, coach, and develop frontline leaders and IC teams across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, and supporting GTM functions.
- Scale a country-first GTM motion that brings Notion closer to French customers through local executive engagement, market nuance, and faster field-level decision-making.
- Accelerate the land engine by opening the right front doors, growing professional workspaces, increasing net-new and upgrade opportunities, and connecting self-serve signals to sales-assisted motion.
- Win lighthouse customers and turn them into market momentum by making them wildly successful, telling their story locally, and using those wins to influence peer companies across France.
- Embed Notion’s AI-era GTM model across the team, including agent-enabled customer journeys, first-agent workflow activation, AI/agent demo proficiency, and stronger “build with the customer” motions.
- Make agentic transformation central to the French GTM motion: help customers identify high-value workflows, build and deploy Notion Agents, automate cross-functional work, and measure outcomes from AI adoption.
- Partner tightly with Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers, Professional Services, Marketing and Channel to reduce handoffs and deliver faster, more durable customer value.
- Build “sell with” partner motions in France, including partner-sourced pipeline, co-sell plays, enablement, AI/agentic solution packages, and joint account planning.
- Establish Notion as a visible force in the French ecosystem through executive dinners, field events, startup and community engagement, partner activations, and customer advocacy.
- Represent the voice of French customers back to Product, PMM, Marketing, and EMEA leadership, especially around AI transformation, enterprise requirements, security, compliance, localization, and competitive dynamics.
- Create a talent destination in France by hiring builder-oriented leaders and ICs, raising the craft bar, and developing the next generation of AI-native GTM talent.
- Drive operational excellence across forecasting, pipeline quality, territory planning, inspection cadence, performance management, and cross-functional execution.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A strategic and hands-on GTM operator who has scaled enterprise SaaS or AI businesses in France and knows how to build a market, not just inherit one. You have led through managers, owned complex revenue outcomes, and created local market momentum through customers, partners, community, and talent.
You combine second-line leadership with builder energy. You can set a crisp country strategy, install the operating system to execute it, and step into the field when needed — whether joining an executive customer conversation, sharpening a pipeline plan, coaching a manager, or helping the team translate a customer problem into an AI-powered, agentic workflow.
You are excited by Notion’s shift to an AI-native, country-first GTM model and believe the best GTM teams will increasingly be builders: BDRs who identify transformation opportunities, Solutions Consultants who build with customers in the room, Outcomes Architects who turn early workflows into durable adoption, and Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers who design the technical systems behind complex agentic workflows.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years leading SaaS or AI sales & GTM teams in France.
- Deep knowledge of the French enterprise and startup ecosystem, including executive buyer networks, local partner channels, and market-specific buying dynamics across all market segments (commercial, midmarket and enterprise)
- Proven second-line leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing frontline managers and high-performing IC teams.
- Track record of owning and exceeding revenue targets across new business, expansion, and renewal/churn dynamics.
- Agency & Urgency: experience building or scaling a regional/country business in a high-growth or ambiguous environment.
- Experience selling, implementing, or leading GTM teams around AI, automation, agentic workflows, collaboration, productivity, developer, or data products.
- Strong strategic judgment: ability to define a country plan, segment the market, prioritize accounts and plays, and align cross-functional teams around outcomes.
- Operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline generation, inspection, performance management, territory planning, and sales process.
- Executive presence with CIO, CTO, CPO, COO, and business transformation buyers, with the ability to shape a compelling AI and agentic workflow narrative.
- Strong understanding of modern GTM motions across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, Professional Services, Channel, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
- Builder mentality and deep AI curiosity: comfortable learning, demoing, and coaching teams on agent-first workflows, proof-of-value motions, and customer co-building.
- Fluency in French and English.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience launching or scaling a country-first or regional GTM operating model.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, APIs, webhooks, connectors, data residency, AI governance, and technical evaluation processes.
- Experience scaling partner, channel, marketplace, or consultant-led GTM motions around AI or workflow transformation.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. The estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is €350,000 - €408,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Global Services is the centre of expertise at Chainalysis — the team that translates our platform, data, and investigative capabilities into real-world impact for customers across law enforcement, national security, financial institutions, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
Chainalysis is seeking a Deployment Strategist to join Global Services as a core technical practitioner. This is not a traditional services or solutions engineering role. Deployment Strategists are embedded technical experts who own the full lifecycle of customer value — from problem discovery and investigation through solution design, deployment, and customer enablement.
The role sits at the intersection of blockchain investigation, data analytics, domain expertise, and customer partnership. You will work directly with customers to understand their mission, conduct investigations, build tailored solutions, and enable customer teams to operationalise Chainalysis independently. Success requires deep investigative capability, genuine domain expertise, technical skill, and the ability to build trusted relationships through credibility — not just communication.
This is the role that makes Chainalysis essential to how our customers operate.
In this role, you’ll:
- Own end-to-end customer engagements — from discovery through investigation, solution design, deployment, enablement, and ongoing value delivery
- Conduct blockchain investigations across the Chainalysis platform, applying tracing, OSINT, and analytical techniques to real customer problems
- Partner directly with customers to understand investigative, intelligence, compliance, or operational objectives and translate them into actionable outcomes
- Design, build, and maintain custom workflows, notebooks, dashboards, queries, and data models using Chainalysis data and products
- Enable customers to operate solutions independently — building their capability so that Chainalysis becomes embedded in their operational infrastructure
- Act as the primary technical and domain advisor for your customers, building trusted relationships through hands-on expertise and credibility
- Deliver live training, demos, investigative walkthroughs, and technical briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support pre-sales technical engagement for complex and strategic deals — helping customers understand what's possible and how to get there
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Global Intel, and Sales to influence roadmap and improve offerings based on field intelligence
- Develop and share domain expertise, investigative techniques, and best practices that raise the capability of the wider GS team
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Conducted or directly supported cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain intelligence work, or financial crime analysis in an operational environment
- Deep familiarity with blockchain ecosystems (BTC, ETH, stablecoins, DeFi) and how on-chain data is used in investigations, compliance, or intelligence workflows
- Delivered customer-facing technical solutions — whether investigative outputs, data products, or analytical workflows — in complex, real-world environments
- Worked directly with customers in law enforcement, national security, intelligence, compliance, financial crime, or security-focused domains
- Built insights from large or complex datasets and communicated findings to varied audiences — from analysts to executives
- Operated successfully in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring ownership, adaptability, and sound judgment
- Excellent English and Hindi
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, transformation, and solution development
- Experience building notebooks, dashboards, and analytical workflows
- Solid understanding of data modelling, querying, and working with large datasets
- Ability to quickly develop deep expertise in Chainalysis data structures, schemas, and products
Domain Expertise
- Substantive knowledge of at least one domain: financial and cyber crime investigations, sanctions and compliance, fraud, national security, DeFi/protocol security, tax, or private sector risk
- Understanding of how customers in your domain operate — their workflows, regulatory environment, and what success looks like for them
- Ability to apply domain knowledge to shape investigation approach, solution design, and customer advisory
Nice to have experience:
- Direct experience with Chainalysis products
- Background in law enforcement, intelligence, or military investigations
- Experience providing expert evidence or supporting legal proceedings
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (BSA/AML, sanctions screening, MiCA, Travel Rule)
- Experience with data engineering tools and platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, cloud-based analytics)
- Published research, intelligence products, or thought leadership in blockchain analytics or financial crime
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
About Chainalysis
Chainalysis is the blockchain data platform, making it easy to connect the movement of digital assets to real-world services. LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Experimentation team.
The Experimentation team is building one of the company’s most strategic product areas: a platform that helps leading engineering organizations move beyond intuition and make product decisions with real statistical confidence.
Sitting at the intersection of large-scale systems, data science, and user experience, the team is creating a best-in-class experimentation product that lets customers set up, manage, and analyze experiments with ease while still earning the trust of even the most rigorous data teams.
From warehouse-native analysis to experimentation workflows built on top of LaunchDarkly’s massive feature management scale, this team is tackling ambitious technical problems with visible customer impact and a clear opportunity to define the future of modern software experimentation.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and operate the services that power this product, contribute to technical direction, and help deliver new functionality to customers.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers across LaunchDarkly to solve complex, data-intensive problems with meaningful customer impact.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs that power LaunchDarkly’s Experimentation product.
Own backend components across their lifecycle, including technical discovery, design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
Build and evolve systems supporting experiment setup, event data ingestion, metric computation, results processing, and results presentation.

Experience diagnosing production issues and improving system reliability through metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and other observability practices.
Experience working in a cloud environment and with infrastructure-as-code or equivalent deployment and operations tooling.
Ability to take an ambiguous problem from discovery and scoping through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
Clear, thoughtful communication and a collaborative approach to working with technical and non-technical partners.
Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, analytics, data platforms, or similarly data-intensive products.

- Stay involved through MVP or first production release to preserve context, support delivery teams and validate that the solution works in the customer’s operating environment.
- Define evaluation criteria for AI quality and business impact, including accuracy, groundedness, tool-call correctness, latency, cost, adoption and workflow effectiveness.
- Ensure proposed solutions adhere to security, compliance, Responsible AI, observability and production-readiness principles.
- Convert field learnings into reusable Solvd assets, including solution blueprints, evaluation frameworks and service accelerators.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- A seasoned hands-on technical leader who has evolved from full-stack or server-side software engineering into the GenAI and agentic AI domain.
- Experienced in designing, prototyping and integrating systems that combine LLMs, agentic frameworks, enterprise data and business workflows.
- Proficient at combining established engineering patterns with emerging AI capabilities to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.
- Skilled in guiding teams and clients through ambiguity - able to prototype rapidly, validate assumptions and converge toward delivery-ready designs.
- Comfortable engaging with executives, product teams, operational users and engineers alike, translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable solution narratives.
- Pragmatic, curious, collaborative and obsessed with customer problem — equally focused on technical soundness, business value, user adoption and delivery readiness.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, including strong experience in software design and engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience architecting or building GenAI or agentic AI systems using modern LLM ecosystems, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure AI or AWS Bedrock.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
WHO WE ARE:
This role sits on the EMEA Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, EMEA.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the GTM strategy, operating rhythm, and growth plan for Germany, with accountability for overall regional revenue outcomes across Sales Assist and Self Serve contribution.
- Lead as a second-line manager: hire, coach, and develop frontline leaders and IC teams across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, and supporting GTM functions.
- Scale a country-first GTM motion that brings Notion closer to German customers through local executive engagement, market nuance, and faster field-level decision-making.
- Accelerate the land engine by opening the right front doors, growing professional workspaces, increasing net-new and upgrade opportunities, and connecting self-serve signals to sales-assisted motion.
- Win lighthouse customers and turn them into market momentum by making them wildly successful, telling their story locally, and using those wins to influence peer companies across Germany.
- Embed Notion’s AI-era GTM model across the team, including agent-enabled customer journeys, first-agent workflow activation, AI/agent demo proficiency, and stronger “build with the customer” motions.
- Make agentic transformation central to the German GTM motion: help customers identify high-value workflows, build and deploy Notion Agents, automate cross-functional work, and measure outcomes from AI adoption.
- Partner tightly with Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers, Professional Services, and Channel to reduce handoffs and deliver faster, more durable customer value.
- Build “sell with” partner motions in Germany, including partner-sourced pipeline, co-sell plays, enablement, AI/agentic solution packages, and joint account planning.
- Establish Notion as a visible force in the German ecosystem through executive dinners, field events, startup and community engagement, partner activations, and customer advocacy.
- Represent the voice of German customers back to Product, PMM, Marketing, and EMEA leadership, especially around AI transformation, enterprise requirements, security, compliance, localization, and competitive dynamics.
- Create a talent destination in Germany by hiring builder-oriented leaders and ICs, raising the craft bar, and developing the next generation of AI-native GTM talent.
- Drive operational excellence across forecasting, pipeline quality, territory planning, inspection cadence, performance management, and cross-functional execution.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A strategic and hands-on GTM operator who has scaled enterprise SaaS or AI businesses in Germany and knows how to build a market, not just inherit one.
- 12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years SaaS or AI sales & GTM teams in Germany.
- Proven second-line leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing frontline managers and high-performing IC teams.
- Track record of owning and exceeding revenue targets across new business, expansion, and renewal/churn dynamics.
- Deep knowledge of the German enterprise and startup ecosystem, including executive buyer networks, local partner channels, and market-specific buying dynamics.
- Experience building or scaling a regional/country business in a high-growth or ambiguous environment.
- Experience selling, implementing, or leading GTM teams around AI, automation, agentic workflows, collaboration, productivity, developer, or data products.
- Strong strategic judgment: ability to define a country plan, segment the market, prioritize accounts and plays, and align cross-functional teams around outcomes.
- Operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline generation, inspection, performance management, territory planning, and sales process.
- Executive presence with CIO, CTO, CPO, COO, and business transformation buyers, with the ability to shape a compelling AI and agentic workflow narrative.
- Strong understanding of modern GTM motions across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, Professional Services, Channel, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
- Builder mentality and deep AI curiosity: comfortable learning, demoing, and coaching teams on agent-first workflows, proof-of-value motions, and customer co-building.
- Fluency in German and English.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience launching or scaling a country-first or regional GTM operating model.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, APIs, webhooks, connectors, data residency, AI governance, and technical evaluation processes.
- Experience scaling partner, channel, marketplace, or consultant-led GTM motions around AI or workflow transformation.

We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As the Manager of Commercial Applied AI Architects at Anthropic, you will drive adoption of frontier AI across our mid-market and SMB customers by leading a team of technical architects who help companies build and deploy with the Claude API, Claude Code, the Agent SDK, and Claude for Enterprise. Commercial is one of Anthropic's largest and fastest-moving books of business: thousands of companies, a rapidly growing sales team, and a small group of architects whose job is to change deal outcomes where technical depth matters most. Your team's leverage does not come from being everywhere. It comes from choosing the right accounts to go deep on, then turning what they learn there into blueprints, demos, tooling, and enablement that reach the rest of the book.
You will bring your own builder credibility and technical judgment to the role. Our architects ship working code: prototypes, eval frameworks, near-production examples that customers extend, and internal tooling that scales the team itself. You do not need to be the strongest engineer in the room, but you should expect to be in the work with your team, not just reviewing it from above. When an architect is deep in a hard engagement, you will often be right there alongside them, unblocking, pairing, and pressure-testing, while the account itself stays theirs.
This is a first-line leadership role reporting to the Head of Applied AI, Commercial. You will start by managing a team of architects and are expected to help grow it well beyond its current size, partnering with Commercial sales leadership on coverage, qualification, and where technical investment pays off. You will co-own the strategy for how Applied AI shows up in the Commercial segment, and you will be judged on your team's outcomes and growth, not your own.
Responsibilities:
Manage, coach, and grow a team of Commercial Applied AI Architects, setting a high bar for technical credibility, customer impact, and speed
Own hiring for your team as it scales, defining the profile, running the loop, and building onboarding that gets new architects into customer conversations quickly
Set goals and run reviews for your team, and develop each architect's career with clear, direct feedback
Decide where your team's depth goes. Own the qualification and prioritization framework for Applied AI engagement across a very large book, and be comfortable saying no
Work alongside your architects on their most consequential engagements, from technical discovery through deployment and expansion, and model what great looks like without taking the work off their plate
Build and own the segment's technical playbooks for Claude API integrations, Claude Code rollouts, agentic architectures on the Agent SDK, and Claude for Enterprise deployments, and turn account-level wins into reusable assets that scale one-to-many
Partner closely with Commercial sales leadership and Account Executives to co-build segment strategy, tighten the AE-to-architect operating model, and drive adoption across mid-market and SMB
Ensure your team consistently surfaces how mid-market companies are building with Claude, and translate that signal into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering
Represent Anthropic technically at customer sites, workshops, roadshows, and events, and contribute to thought leadership through content and speaking
Stay ahead of the AI engineering landscape, including agentic architectures, eval design, context engineering, and developer tooling, and keep your team operating at the frontier
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 7+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar), with 3+ years managing pre-sales or technical go-to-market teams
Know how to hire well, coach effectively, give hard feedback kindly, and create an environment where builders do their best work
Have led technical teams in a high-velocity, high-volume sales motion, where the constraint is your team's capacity rather than pipeline, and have a real point of view on how to allocate scarce technical talent across a large book
Bring builder credibility. You have built and deployed LLM-powered applications, you understand what separates a prototype from a production system, and you can hold your own with a customer's engineering leadership
Have hands-on familiarity with agentic architectures, LLM evaluation, and modern AI developer tooling, and can coach architects through the design decisions their customers face
Have a systems mindset. When you see a problem, your instinct is to build one thing that serves ten customers rather than ten things that serve one
Are comfortable in ambiguous, early-stage environments where the playbook does not exist yet, and have a track record of building structure as you go
Have strong executive presence and can build trust with technical and business leaders alike
Have a genuine passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial
Strong candidate may have:
Scaled a technical pre-sales or forward-deployed team from a handful of people to a mature function, including defining the hiring bar, onboarding programs, and coaching systems from scratch
Sold to and built for mid-market companies, with a clear understanding of how technical buying decisions differ between a 500-person company and a Fortune 500
Rolled out AI coding assistants or developer tools inside engineering organizations, and know how those teams evaluate, adopt, and measure them
A visible technical presence through conference talks, written content, or open-source contributions
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$315,000
—
$380,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
