ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking someone to lead the future of fraud machine learning at Ramp. In this role, you will help build core machine learning models, design data architectures, and set strategic roadmaps to help Ramp mitigate fraud-related threats while minimizing the friction experience by legitimate users. - Prototype and productionize machine learning models and rules-based systems to protect Ramp and its users from fraud
- Partner closely with Fraud Engineering and Data Platform teams to augment and leverage data across first and third party sources, ensuring we’ve added as much context as possible to every decision we make
- Contribute to the culture of Ramp’s machine learning team by influencing processes, tools, and systems that will allow us to make better decisions in a scalable way
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Math, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Applied Scientist or Data Scientist
- Strong python experience (numpy, pandas, sklearn, pytorch etc.) across ML techniques and backend engineering
- Prior experience deploying Machine Learning models to production and making meaningful contribution to backend systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL (Snowflake, Postgres, etc.)
- Fluency with agentic (AI) tools for software development and data analysis
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly improving, start-up environment that focuses on solving problems with iterative technical solutions
NICE-TO-HAVES
- PhD in Math, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields
- Context on Fraud and/or Identity Threat detection systems
- Experience at a high-growth startup
- Experience with the modern data stack ( Snowflake / Hex / dbt / RisingWave / etc )
- Strong perspective on data science + ML engineering development cycle, especially in a post-AI setting
- Experience developing LLM-backed systems or tools

With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.

About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our Orchestration team, which owns the control plane layer of the dbt platform — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing.
You'll own the design and delivery of features end to end, working across high-throughput APIs and data models to make them faster, more reliable, and more capable. You'll write and review designs, raise the quality bar in code review, use the latest AI tools, and collaborate closely with product and QE to deliver work that scales.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Orchestration team's services — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

Together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It's an exciting time to join us: we're creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.

Location: Espoo
Workplace: Hybrid
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Staff Software Engineer (Commercial Platform)
- Location: Espoo, Finland
- Department: Business Automation
- Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Hybrid, 3 days a week at the office
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will own the architecture behind how customers discover, order, receive and pay for ICEYE's SAR imagery and monitoring insights.. You will decide how several existing backend systems become one platform, and you will see that migration through to production.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build the platform at the heart of ICEYE's data business: it's how customers buy and receive our imagery and insights, and it will drive the Data business's revenue for years to come.
- Own the technical architecture and migration plan for bringing several existing backend systems together into one unified platform behind ICEYE's monitoring intelligence products.
- Make the key architecture and data-model decisions and hands-on drive them through execution across multiple engineering teams.
- Deliver the platform's first production milestone together with the team within the first quarter of 2027. Then lead the migration of the remaining live products onto it without disrupting customers.
- Set the technical standards other engineers build against as the platform consolidation continues.
- Bring a point of view on where AI-assisted engineering practices genuinely help the team, and help others apply them.
- Partner directly with product and engineering leadership to keep the migration aligned as priorities evolve.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Backend production engineering experience in Go, or deep enough backend expertise in a similar language to ramp quickly.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and event-driven, message-based architectures.
- Production experience with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
- Practical experience with observability tooling such as LGTM stack, Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
- A track record of technically leading an architecture renewal, platform consolidation, or large-scale migration end to end, not just contributing to one.
- Proven ability to bring multiple engineering teams and stakeholders to a shared technical direction.
- Geospatial or space industry experience is a strong plus that will help you have an impact quickly. If you don't have it, apply anyway: most of our engineers learned the domain here.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- TA Partner screening call (30 minutes)
- Hiring manager interview (1 hour)
- Technical interview (2 hours)
- Values & Fit interview (1 hour)
- Final interview with SVP of Engineering (1 hour)

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As an Applied AI Solutions Architect supporting a dedicated national security mission program, you will be the customer's trusted technical advisor — helping them understand the value of Claude and how to successfully integrate and deploy it into their technology stack. You'll combine deep technical and cyber domain expertise with customer-facing skills to architect LLM solutions for complex mission challenges while maintaining our high standards for safety and reliability. Working closely with our Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, you'll guide the customer from technical discovery through successful deployment, much of it on-site in secure environments.
Key responsibilities
Serve as the dedicated technical advisor for one or more national security mission programs, from discovery and evaluation through deployment and adoption
Support the customer building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise
Help develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance for mission-specific use cases
Guide technical architecture decisions and integration into the customer's existing stack
Coordinate internally across Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive customer success
Create and deliver technical content from engineering deep dives to executive briefings
Work primarily on-site with the customer's engineering and mission teams in secure government facilities, while maintaining close internal coordination and feedback with Anthropic’s Applied AI and Engineering teams
Minimum qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Prior experience working within US intelligence community agencies as a government civilian or cleared contractor
Experience in technical customer-facing roles (solutions architecture, sales engineering, or similar)
Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, from engineers to executives
Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following domains: offensive or defensive cyber operations (including vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and ICS/OT security), cryptography and cryptanalysis, intelligence analysis and ISR (all-source, SIGINT, GEOINT), mission and weapons systems (command and control, space, electronic warfare, autonomy), CBRN and nonproliferation, or accreditation of classified systems (RMF, ATO, cross-domain solutions).
Preferred qualifications
5+ years in Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager or equivalent roles
Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools
Background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science
Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
Experience deploying and operating software in air-gapped or classified environments

—
$315,000 USD

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT THE SECURITY PLATFORM TEAM
The Infrastructure Security team provides and supports the primitives that enable engineering to securely build applications and meet compliance obligations, while abstracting away the underlying complexity for the best possible developer experience.
Our work centers on workload identity and authorization: how internal applications authenticate to each other and to the services they depend on, and how that access is granted and enforced. We're replacing static secrets with short-lived identity credentials, bringing identity-based authentication to the services engineers use every day, and unifying how authorization is managed across the company.
We're a platform engineering team with a security mission. We measure success by the security outcomes we enable and by how much engineers enjoy building on what we ship — the secure path should be the easiest path.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A platform builder. You love building infrastructure that other engineers rely on every day, and you sweat the developer experience details that make adoption effortless.
- Fluent in service-to-service auth. You know authentication and authorization deeply: JWTs, X.509 certificates, and when to reach for each.
- A systems thinker. You reason carefully about bootstrapping, circular dependencies, availability, and failure modes, especially for infrastructure that everything else depends on.
- A pragmatic migrator. You know that shipping the primitive is half the job. You can drive adoption across many teams, meet them where they are, and retire the legacy path.
- A strong partner to engineering. You build trust with engineers by understanding their priorities and making security frictionless.
- Excited about AI. You're embracing AI and automation to scale platform work and reduce toil.
- Curious and humble. You ask the basic questions, enjoy untangling complex systems, and bring others along with you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build workload identity infrastructure. Make short-lived identity credentials a default part of every application's runtime environment, in partnership with application platform owners.
- Bring identity-based authentication to internal services. Work with the owners of major internal dependencies to support identity certificates, make them the golden path for newly onboarding applications, and drive migration of existing ones.
- Eliminate static secrets. Replace all static passwords and service tokens with short-lived identity credentials, and build identity-authenticated egress proxies and API abstractions that inject and automatically rotate managed secrets for the external dependencies that still require them.
- Unify authorization. Build a single interface and framework through which authorization policies are centrally managed and enforced.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on security-related platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Strong working knowledge of secrets management, fine-grained authorization, and workload identity systems.
- Familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and authentication/authorization technologies such as JWTs, X.509 certificates, PKI, cert-manager, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and OPA.
- Experience building and operating production infrastructure that other teams depend on, with attention to availability and failure modes.
- Proven ability to drive cross-team adoption of platform capabilities or lead large-scale migrations.

About the team
We’re the AI & Automation Engineering team. Our mission is to make life easier for every internal team through automation, from standalone tools to Operational Hub, the unified platform we’re building to house all the automation tools each department needs. We work directly with Growth, Strategy & Planning, Client Service, Operations, and Data & Solutions (among others), so most of what you build is used by the people you work with every day.
The team today is small: a Product Manager, a Full-Stack Engineer, and an AI Implementation Engineer. But the company is growing very fast, and so is our team.
About the role
We’re looking for AI Implementation Engineer who thrives at the intersection of automation, AI-assisted development, and practical tool-building. You’ll work alongside our existing engineers to design, build, and maintain the internal tools and automated workflows that power day-to-day operations across the company.
The work is hands-on and fast-moving: you’ll turn business needs into working solutions using n8n, LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI), and AI-assisted development tools like Replit and Claude Code.
If you build with AI, want real ownership over features, and want to work closely with the people who use what you build, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain n8n workflows that automate internal business processes.
Troubleshoot and improve existing automations to keep them reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain.
Develop and launch lightweight internal tools using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Replit.
Integrate systems and services through APIs and webhooks, including LLM APIs such as Claude and OpenAI.
Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical solutions.
Test tools and workflows, gather user feedback, and deliver improvements as business needs evolve.
Contribute new features to the team’s Operational Hub and collaborate with engineers on technical decisions.
Take ownership of assigned projects, from requirements gathering through launch and ongoing support.
2+ years of professional experience in QA (preferred), analytics, or project management. Hands-on programming skills are also welcome.
Hands-on experience building, debugging, and maintaining workflows in n8n or Make.com.
Ability to build and ship functional applications using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, or similar.
A working understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data flows, with the ability to troubleshoot integration issues.
Basic proficiency in SQL, ideally BigQuery, including reading and working with structured data.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to understand business processes, clarify requirements, and translate them into practical tools and automations.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, willingness to learn, and ownership of your work.
Nice to have
Experience with Google APIs, particularly Sheets, Drive, and Calendar.
Familiarity with Clerk or similar authentication and authorization tools.
Knowledge of React or basic frontend development.
Experience integrating Slack, Asana, HubSpot, or similar business tools.
Experience in AdTech or MarTech.
Portfolio
If we move forward after the initial HR interview, we’ll ask you to share a portfolio of tools or automations you’ve delivered. Please highlight their measurable business impact and explain your personal contribution to each project.
