Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Compensation Partner to join our Total Rewards team and lead compensation for our international locations as Anthropic builds out its global presence. This role will support our international org on the strategy, design and execution of Anthropic's compensation programs, adapting a global framework to markets that work differently. It is a great fit for someone who has seen compensation excellence at scale and has operated in rapidly scaling, high-ambiguity environments with evolving scope.

Support Anthropic's overall compensation framework, including salary, variable compensation and equity-based programs, and adapt it for local market practice, legal requirements, and competitive dynamics while keeping a consistent global philosophy
Operate as a strategic compensation business partner to international leadership, People Partners, and recruiting, building relationships and context to navigate ambiguous problems and recommend solutions tailored to Anthropic's unique needs
Own comp cycle execution end-to-end for international employees, including local market benchmarking, budget modeling, currency considerations, manager enablement, edge-case resolution, and exec-ready rollups, in partnership with the broader Total Rewards team
Navigate complex international regulatory environments, ensuring compliance with local pay and employment requirements across markets, including works councils, statutory pay and benefits requirements, pay transparency obligations, and country-specific equity and tax considerations, in close partnership with Legal and Equity
Build and maintain international benchmarking methodology
Provide subject matter expertise and counsel to People Partners, managers and leadership on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations across regions
Create compelling data narratives and presentations for leadership, translating complex analysis into clear strategic recommendations
Partner cross-functionally to develop scalable processes that enable consistent, high-quality compensation decision-making across the organization
Develop and deliver enablement on our compensation philosophy and programs across Anthropic for your business stakeholders
You may be a good fit if you:
Have deep expertise in compensation, preferably in a high-growth environment, with direct experience across multiple countries or regions
Have a strong working knowledge of international compensation practices and the regulatory landscape across key markets, including works councils and pay transparency requirements
Have experience localizing global compensation programs
Excel at collaborating across time zones with exceptional cross-cultural communication skills
Have strong collaboration and program management skills, with a track record of taking on ambiguously-scoped projects and taking ownership to deliver great results
Thrive in strategic thinking while remaining comfortable with hands-on execution and detailed analysis

Are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp’s Token Spend Management team helps finance and technical teams understand and manage what they spend across AI providers and subscriptions. We are building the third pillar https://ramp.com/blog/ramp-at-44-billion-the-third-pillar of finance. The product brings provider usage and billing information together so customers can see where costs come from, attribute spend, and act on it with greater confidence.
We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to build the systems behind that experience. You’ll own substantial projects from design through production, turn data from different providers into dependable product experiences, and work with product, design, data, and engineering partners to make complex spend information useful to customers. You will be involved in key company initiatives such as inference accounting, and figuring out new and novel ways to help companies not just manage, but think about their AI Spend.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and build backend services and APIs that support AI spend visibility, attribution, insights, and controls
- Build and improve integrations that ingest usage and billing information from supported providers
- Taking the data from those integrations and converting it into helpful structures for external customers, and internal product consumers
- Create reliable data models and processing workflows that make spend information accurate, traceable, and useful across the product
- Own projects from technical design through launch, monitoring, and iteration
- Improve the reliability, performance, and observability of systems as customer usage and provider coverage grow
- Partner with product, design, data, and engineering teammates to turn customer needs into practical solutions
- Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience designing, building, and operating production backend systems, including APIs, data models, and asynchronous workflows
- Strong judgment about system design, data correctness, reliability, and when to keep a solution simple
- A track record of independently owning complex projects and shipping high-quality software
- Experience working with external data sources or integrations where data quality and changing interfaces matter
- Comfort working through ambiguous product problems with cross-functional partners
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to technical decisions and feedback
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with usage metering, billing, spend management, or financial data products
- Experience integrating with AI providers or other third-party usage and billing APIs
- Experience building attribution, alerts, limits, or other systems that help customers understand and manage spend

Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com will grow you faster than you expect - the deals, the pace, and the people demand it. If you've ever felt a role never let you show what you're truly capable of, this is the opposite problem: meaningful deals with some of the UK's and the world's biggest brands, real autonomy, and no ceiling on what you can take on.
You'll join the Solutions team in London and own the technical side of deals from first conversation to go-live. Pre-sale, you're front and centre: positioning the platform, building demos and POCs, winning over the merchant's engineers and architects while your Account Executive drives the commercial thread. Once the deal is ready, the weight shifts: our Implementation Engineers lead the build and you stay close, so your designs survive contact with reality.
You'll work on a modern, fast-moving platform with docs that answer your questions, alongside one of the strongest commercial teams in payments.
People who do well here are curious by default: they pull threads, teach themselves what the job needs next, and act before anyone asks. If that's how you work, you'll like it here.
What you will be doing:
- Support the commercial team to position Checkout.com http://Checkout.com's products, solutions, and services - and win deals. You'll be a key partner to Account Executives on product, payments, regulation, and tech.
- Understand merchant requirements and technical needs, map them to our APIs and products, create solution designs and internal documentation.
- Run demos, build "show-me" payment flows, create POCs, customise and create presentations.
- Provide thought leadership on all aspects of Payment Performance - Acceptance Rate, Fraud Prevention, Tokenisation, Payment Methods, and others.
- Lead all technical interactions with merchants - chats, calls, meetings, and workshops - from first contact through go-live, partnering with our Implementation Engineers during integration.
- Support the BID management team with RFP and RFI responses.
- Enable internal functions, commercial and tech, with market and merchant feedback on product capabilities. Champion product change and improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, solutions, and tech.
- Be an expert on Checkout.com http://Checkout.com's platform and products.
About You:
If the list below looks like you, apply.
Experience
- 2+ years as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, Implementation Engineer, or TAM. At a PSP or payments company is a bonus.
- Merchant-side counts too: checkout engineering, an in-house payments team, a payments product role.
- Experience in a technical, client-facing role.
Payments and technical skills
We need real depth in one of the two areas below and the appetite to close the gap on the other. If payments is your strength, this job will make you more technical, you'll need to want that. Strong coder lighter on payments: payments can be taught, you'll have time.
Payments:
- Understanding of the end-to-end payment flow and the industry's rules, regulations, and schemes.
- Experience with 3DS, Network Tokenisation, Apple/Google Pay, APMs, Open Banking, or fraud-risk engines.
Tech:
- You can code and you're comfortable with web technologies - payments run on the web. At least one front-end (JavaScript, React, Angular) or back-end (Java, .NET, Python, Node) language.
- Familiar with API-based integration (REST/JSON, Postman); can reproduce, isolate, and explain issues using logs, API responses, and tests.
How you work
- Clear written and verbal English; equally at home with developers and product teams as with payments, finance, and C-level stakeholders.
- Commercially minded: you talk revenue, volume, and pricing, not just APIs, and push deals forward without being asked.
- Highly organised; able to prioritise shifting workloads.
Nice to have:
- Previous exposure to RFI/RFP processes.
- Familiarity with PSD2/PSD3/PSR, FCA, ISO-8583.
- An additional language.
- Former engineering, developer, or product manager background.
- Prior roles in the e-commerce industry.
Not sure whether to apply?
Build a working payment demo using our public docs at docs.checkout.com http://docs.checkout.com and send it to kate.moore@checkout.com. A working demo tells us more than a perfect CV.

Why work at Higgsfield AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $500M in annual revenue run rate, 25M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands. We're building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn't just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
About the Role
Operating Principals are Higgsfield’s general problem solvers. They work directly with the CEO and senior executives on the company’s key initiatives — owning several projects at a time, with no fixed lane: a new market this month, a broken process or a stalled product launch the next. The job is to take an undefined problem from zero to a working outcome, hand it off, and move to the next one.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying new growth and revenue opportunities across products, markets, and partners.
- Building and optimising processes that can scale with a company growing this fast.
- Leading and executing priority company initiatives end to end — analysis, decision, execution, follow-through.
- Pulling engineering, product, growth, and partnerships into one plan and unblocking whatever stalls.
- Preparing the numbers, models, and one-pagers behind leadership, board, and investor decisions.
Scope
- Based in San Francisco, with regular trips to Almaty and travel to partners and markets as projects require.
- Direct access to the CEO; high ownership, minimal process — no team underneath, no playbook.
What You’ll Need
- A degree from a top-tier university — ideally STEM or another highly quantitative field.
- A track record of outstanding achievement in several different areas — olympiads, case competitions, elite scholarships, building something that worked.
- 3–5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a top-tier strategy consultancy, investment bank / PE, Big Tech, or a fast-growing global technology company.
- Experience working abroad, as an expat, or inside a global organisation as a non-native speaker.
- A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end.
- The ability to break complex problems into smaller, actionable ones and enjoy working with data.
- Writing and presenting at a level that goes straight to the board or a Fortune 500 partner without editing.
- Natural curiosity, speed, and a will to make an impact.
- Right to work in the US; based in San Francisco or ready to relocate.
Nice to Have
- A chief-of-staff, founder’s-office, or BizOps stint after consulting / banking.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or Gen AI tooling.
- Background in AI, consumer tech, or media.
Screening / Interview Topics
- Hardest Problem Owned – an ambiguous project taken from zero to outcome, and what the candidate personally did
- Cross-Functional Delivery – moving engineering, product, and business teams without formal authority
- Analytical Depth – building and defending a model or business case under time pressure
- Executive Communication – a board deck, investor update, or CEO memo they wrote themselves
- Pace & Ambiguity – handling a priority flip mid-project
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary in USD, based on your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
- Equity participation through the company’s stock option program, giving you the opportunity to share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth.
- A highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where you can work directly with experienced leaders and have a meaningful impact on the product and company.
- Opportunities for professional growth, ownership, and career development as the company scales.
- Company-provided equipment, meals, transportation, or other office benefits.

Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses.
