Hi, I’m Taten 👋 Chief Operating Officer at Cleo. I lead the teams that help Cleo operate and scale effectively, spanning People & Talent, Legal, Compliance & Policy, Operations, and Partnerships. Together, these teams build the capabilities, relationships, processes and foundations that enable Cleo to grow responsibly while delivering for our customers.
We’re looking for people with strong judgment, deep curiosity, and a drive for getting things right. You’ll own your area, move quickly, and stay close to the details all while partnering with leaders and teams across Cleo to solve complex problems and drive meaningful progress. This is a great environment for thoughtful, enterprise-minded people who know when to bring others along and when to seek a different perspective. If you can balance principle with pragmatism, bring clarity to complexity, and want to help build a company that grows with intention, Cleo is a place where you can have real impact.
About the Role ✍️
We’re looking for a People Partner to join our Partnerships team. You’ll collaborate closely with the wider team and the Head of People Partnerships, supporting all aspects of the People Agenda. You’ll provide consultative advice to leadership, tailored coaching, drive positive change, and lead on complex Employee Relations matters in the departments you support. You will also play a role in company-wide people initiatives, including learning and development, employee engagement, and performance management.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Partnering with business areas to align their people strategies with the goals of those departments, becoming a trusted, expert advisor.
- Supporting key company wide programs like the Talent Review Cycle and Talent Check Ins, supporting data collation and integrity, fostering a culture of high performance and growth.
- Managing employee relations, providing expert support and recommending appropriate actions to address queries or problems. Proactively reviewing data to spot employee relations trends and suggest solutions, coaching Managers to tackle issues early on.
- Working closely with client groups on engagement data, supporting positive advancement and wider company initiatives. Reviewing engagement over time and conducting 121s and group forums during onboarding and exit points.
- Providing tailored coaching to help up skill our leaders in a meaningful way.
- Delivering tangible impact to your business areas: regretted attrition, engagement scores, organisational health and performance are all metrics you will be measured on, and that you should always have front of mind.
- Creating and delivering Learning and Development initiatives to enhance skills across the organisation.
- Ideating and execute key work streams and projects within the People Roadmap, autonomously and collaboratively.
- Acting as a valuable support and subject matter expert to various teams within the People department, addressing queries and challenges.
What We're Looking For 🕵️
- 2+ years of experience working in a People Partner role within a fast growth, technology-led organisation, ideally supporting multiple geographies.
- Experience with Executive Coaching would be a great advantage but not essential.
- Hands‑on experience managing complex employee relations and case management, including knowledge of UK and US employment laws and regulations.
- Great attention to detail, a passion for delivering great customer experience and you can spot an opportunity to improve a process at a mile off.
- Experience in handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy, you are comfortable having difficult conversations, working professionally and discreetly with sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Both the what and the how matter to us: explaining requirements and processes is key, but first comes the critical step of gaining stakeholder buy-in. You’ll build strong relationships based on trust and confidence, and have the ability to influence.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country 🌍 and include meaningful equity, comprehensive health insurance, mental health support, a paid one-month sabbatical after four years, a learning & development platform, pension or retirement contributions, and location-specific leave entitlements.

We're glad to make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process. If there's anything we can do to support you in showing us your best, please let your recruiter or one of the team know.
We may use AI-assisted tools during the recruitment process to take support the team in different ways like taking notes or referring back to conversations. They do not replace the team and all applications are reviewed by a Cleo employee thoroughly!

Your role is dedicated to serving as a trusted primary point of contact during sensitive employment and offboarding situations. You will independently guide customers through complex individual cases and bulk offboardings ensuring they feel thoroughly supported, clear on local employment requirements, and confident in our service every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
You are a key voice of Oyster to our customers and team members during sensitive HR and offboarding phases. You balance case management with proactive problem-solving to make complex processes seamless.

- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with customer service colleagues, HR, finance, product, and legal experts to resolve queries and then share your knowledge with the whole customer-facing team to create a great experience for our customers, and to keep the streamlined process.
- Consistently meet individual weekly service delivery goals, adherence to SLAs, and customer satisfaction (CSAT) metrics;
- Handle complex customer inquiries and escalations with clarity and empathy, knowing when to leverage manager support for high-risk situations;
- Lead and project manage small bulk offboardings (5+ team members), coordinating requirements asynchronously and synchronously with internal cross-functional partners;
- Identify opportunities to tweak existing playbooks and workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and boost operational efficiency;
- Maintain exceptional data accuracy on the Oyster platform and keep all ticket communications clear and up to date;
- Participate in small project initiatives, contribute to internal knowledge bases & help center articles and support team members through peer learning.
Core Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in customer service or customer-facing operations, with a strong background in HR, People Operations or People administration.

- Experience supporting employees or customers across multiple countries, regions or employment jurisdictions.
- Exposure to employment practices within EMEA is strongly preferred.
- Strong SLA and metrics focus, with a track record of achieving individual output and quality goals such as CSAT and turnaround times.
- Strong process orientation and confidence using self-service playbooks, asynchronous tools and cross-functional expertise to resolve incomplete or complex information.
- An empathetic, human-centred approach to customer support, particularly during sensitive employment transitions.
- Strong analytical curiosity and the ability to identify the underlying issue behind a customer request rather than addressing only the immediate question.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines and regional dependencies independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication for customers, team members and internal stakeholders across different cultures and jurisdictions.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement when working with sensitive, confidential or compliance-related information.

- AI & Workflow Automation: Actively embraces emerging AI technologies, with a willingness to continuously learn, experiment and identify opportunities to improve workflows, productivity and operational excellence.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

As Team Lead for the Magarini LLS Project, you will lead the call center team that carries out outbound follow-up with recipients, by phone and through in-person field visits across Magarini Sub-County. You will own the team’s performance against its KPIs, keep call and field-visit quality high, and make sure every recipient is heard, respected, and supported.
You will coach and support agents, handle escalated and sensitive cases, decide when a case needs an in-person visit, and keep the team’s reporting accurate and current. You will work closely with the Call Center Manager and field colleagues, and you are expected to model GiveDirectly’s values and uphold its data integrity and ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
(A) Performance Management
Conduct weekly 1:1 check-ins with all assigned agents, reviewing performance against team KPIs and, where relevant, in-person follow-up outcomes.
Lead weekly team huddles covering performance trends, blockers, and updates
Own team-level KPIs (Agent Utilization, Speed of Cash, Positive Recipient Experience, and any additional KPIs defined by the Call Center Manager)
Manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) end-to-end, including documentation and follow-through
(B) Quality Assurance
Review a minimum of 4 recorded or side-by-side outbound calls per agent per week against the team's QA rubric
Periodically accompany agents on in-person field visits in Kitui to assess the quality of in-person follow-up and eligibility determination
Score calls and field visits consistently, and document QA feedback in an auditable format
Identify recurring quality gaps and design targeted coaching or refresher training to address them
Calibrate QA scoring periodically with the Call Center Manager or peer Team Leads to ensure consistency across teams
Track QA score trends over time per agent and flag agents needing additional support before performance drops significantly
(C) People Management
Conduct at least 30 minutes of coaching per agent per week, grounded in specific call or case examples, separate from performance review and focused on skill growth
Support onboarding and integration of any new agents joining the team
Manage team attendance and leave planning, ensuring adequate coverage across remote and field days
Identify and act on opportunities for morale-building (for example recognition, team check-ins, and addressing burnout risk given the mix of remote and field demands)
Maintain healthy team dynamics through proactive conflict resolution
Recognize and reinforce both individual and team wins, not just performance gaps
Act as the first point of support for agent wellbeing concerns, escalating to the Call Center Manager or People team where appropriate
Support agents' growth conversations, even where no formal progression path currently exists, by identifying stretch opportunities within the role
(D) Agent Support & Escalations
Provide real-time floor support for outbound call queries
Handle escalated cases, including deciding whether a recipient needs an in-person visit (for example unreachable recipients, disputed eligibility, or adverse events)
Track and follow through on any case handed off from phone-based follow-up to field visit in Kitui
During field visits, directly observe and coach agents on in-person follow-up quality
Host donors, partners, and leadership during their visits to the Kitui field sites
Build and maintain working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including field colleagues and partners, and keep them informed of team progress, risks, and escalations
(E) Reporting, Systems & Administration
Plan and manage weekly rosters for the team, factoring in the mostly remote structure and scheduled field visit days
Generate real-time performance reports using Salesforce, Call Center Studio, and Tableau dashboards
Keep trackers (QA logs, coaching logs, case escalations, attendance) accurate and current
Proactively flag systemic issues and recommend adjustments
Deliver monthly or quarterly refresher trainings on new protocols, products, or system updates
Document coaching sessions and PIPs consistently and in an auditable format
Key Competencies and Attributes
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, community development, public health, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a call center or customer support environment, including at least 1 year leading, supervising, or coaching a team of agents
Experience in call center work, quality assurance, including scoring calls against a rubric and giving performance feedback
Experience in nonprofit, humanitarian, or development work, or with in-person field follow-up, is an added advantage
Knowledge of Salesforce, CommCare, Call Center Studio, SMS Leopard, Tableau, bulk messaging, and AI Assistant tools is an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-management skills
Sound judgment on when a case needs escalation
Willingness to travel regularly to field sites across Magarini Sub County/Kilifi County, including remote areas
Ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive recipient cases
Genuine people-first instinct, able to balance metrics-driven management with team morale and wellbeing

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.

We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.

Merchant Acquiring Fraud Analyst (2nd LoD)
Location: fully remote in Spain/Poland/Cyprus/Netherlands
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Fraud Analyst (Acquiring side) to join Finom Payments’ Second Line of Defence within the Financial Crime Risk Management Function. This role sits in the Fraud Risk Management team, reports directly to the Fraud Risk Manager, and focuses primarily on the Card Acquiring side of our fintech ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating card acquiring fraud risks such as merchant abuse, bust-outs, transaction laundering, friendly fraud, and chargeback spikes. As a Second Line defender, you will monitor, analyze, and challenge the effectiveness of first-line operational fraud controls. You will play a key role in building and continuously improving Finom Payments' fraud risk framework, ensuring fraud rates remain strictly within risk appetite without compromising platform growth or customer experience.
What You Will Be Doing
Acquiring Fraud Risk & Scenario Development
Analyse internal data sources (alerts, chargebacks, disputes, anomaly reports, ML models) and external trends (card schemes, partners, law enforcement, industry intelligence) to identify emerging fraud risks related to acquiring business.
Translate observed patterns into well-defined acquiring fraud scenarios, covering areas such as Card-Present and Card-not-present fraud, friendly fraud and dispute abuse, merchant fraud, transaction laundering, enumeration and testing attacks
Maintain and continuously enrich the Acquiring Fraud Typology Library, aligned with scheme rules, regulatory expectations, and Finom’s risk appetite.
Work closely with the Fraud Risk Manager, product, engineering, and ML teams to ensure correct translation of acquiring fraud scenarios into rules, thresholds and controls as well as machine-learning features and signals
Participate in back-testing, validation, and tuning of acquiring fraud controls prior to production release.
Monitor performance metrics (fraud rate, chargeback ratio, false positives, merchant friction) and propose optimisation actions.
Act as a Second Line challenger, providing independent oversight of acquiring fraud risk decisions taken in the First Line.
Support scheme-related topics such as Visa / Mastercard monitoring programs, dispute ratios, and remediation actions.
Establish proper stakeholder management with product teams, risk management, quality assurance and operations teams
Develop training materials and guidance for acquiring fraud analysts, dispute teams, and QA.
Assist in drafting and reviewing system requirements, procedures, and internal policies related to acquiring fraud prevention.
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects within the Financial Crime Risk Management function.
Perform other duties as reasonably required to support the operational efficiency and fraud loss prevention of Finom.
Required Experience & Skills
English – full working proficiency
2+ years of experience in merchant risk, acquiring fraud strategy, or payment processor (PSP) risk management within a regulated financial institution or fintech platform.
Experience with fraud prevention, fraud detection, fraud investigations and fraud mitigations in the financial (Banking, PSP, FinTech) sector
Solid understanding of acquiring card fraud typologies (Merchant Bust-outs, Transaction Laundering, Card-testing among others), Visa/Mastercard monitoring programs (ECP/VAMP) and rules, and chargeback mechanics .
Knowledge of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, across both issuing and acquiring rails.
Experience working with fraud rules, scenarios, or ML-driven controls (end-to-end lifecycle preferred)
Ability to analyse large datasets; experience with SQL and/or BI tools is a strong advantage
Interpersonal Skills
FINOM strongly rejects the “Compliance says No” mindset.
We are looking for someone who:
Thinks like a risk partner, not a blocker
Is comfortable challenging assumptions and proposing pragmatic solutions
Can explain complex fraud risks in simple, business-friendly language
Communicates effectively with stakeholders across product, tech, and operations
