At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
We're looking for a Staff Data Engineer to own the architecture and technical vision of our data platform. This is a high-leverage, high-autonomy role where you'll set the technical bar for the team, drive cross-functional alignment on data infrastructure strategy, and solve our hardest engineering problems. You'll operate across AWS serverless technologies, Snowflake, dbt, and Terraform, but your impact goes well beyond any single tool: you'll shape how we think about reliability, scalability, cost, and developer experience at the platform level.
This role is for someone who doesn't just build great systems, but makes the engineers around them better.
The Role:
- Own the technical architecture of ClickUp's data platform, making design decisions that balance scalability, cost, reliability, and velocity.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for data infrastructure in partnership with leadership.
- Design systems at scale: build frameworks, abstractions, and patterns that other engineers use daily.
- Lead complex, cross-team technical initiatives spanning data engineering, analytics engineering, data science, and data analytics.
- Drive cost optimization across cloud infrastructure and compute, turning efficiency into a competitive advantage.
- Build and evolve our data pipelines using AWS serverless (Lambda, Fargate, Step Functions, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora), Snowflake, and dbt.
- Establish and champion engineering standards: observability, testing, CI/CD, code review, and documentation practices.
- Design and maintain infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, including LLM frameworks, feature pipelines, training data systems, and model monitoring.
- Mentor senior engineers, provide technical guidance through design reviews, and raise the overall engineering quality of the team.
- Influence org-wide technical decisions and represent data engineering in company-level architecture discussions.
Qualifications:
- Significant professional experience in data engineering or backend/infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years operating at a senior or staff level.
- Proven track record of owning architecture for data platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud services (Lambda, Fargate, Step Functions, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora) and infrastructure as code (Terraform and/or CDK).
- Expert-level SQL and Snowflake (or equivalent cloud data warehouse) knowledge, including performance tuning and cost optimization.
- Strong experience with dbt and modern ELT/ETL patterns at scale.
- Advanced Python skills with emphasis on building reusable libraries, frameworks, and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect) in production environments.
- Experience building data infrastructure for AI/ML: feature stores, training pipelines, embedding pipelines, model serving, or LLM integration.
- Deep understanding of streaming and event-driven architectures (Kinesis, Kafka, or equivalent).
- Mastery of CI/CD, Git workflows, containerization (Docker), and deployment automation.
- Strong communication skills: ability to write technical RFCs, influence without authority, and translate complex trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of mentoring and growing engineers, with a multiplier mindset.
Desirable
- Experience operating data platforms at high scale (petabyte-level warehouses, millions of events/sec).
- Familiarity with data mesh or data product paradigms.
- Experience with FinOps practices and cloud cost management at scale.
- Prior experience in a technical leadership role without direct reports (staff/principal IC track).
- Contributions to open-source data tools or technical communities.

About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Staff Mobile Engineer to join our OEX Mobile Growth team — a pure mobile team sitting at the intersection of engineering rigour, consumer growth craft, and product instinct. This is not a feature delivery role. You will own the client-side architecture for new user acquisition, referral and virality mechanics, and the reward and conversion funnels that drive growth for millions of users.
You bring deep expertise in mobile attribution — from MMP design and evolution through to anti-fraud, channel revenue sharing, and ROI evaluation — and you know how to turn attribution data into decisions. You are also fluent in AI-assisted development and bring the discipline to build, maintain, and continuously improve your own AI engineering workflows.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the client-side architecture for core growth conversion flows — new user acquisition, referral and virality loops, reward mechanics, and activity-driven engagement systems.
Design and evolve the mobile attribution system — including MMP integration, attribution modelling, and the application of attribution data across anti-fraud, channel revenue sharing, and ROI evaluation scenarios.
Build and optimise growth infrastructure including funnel instrumentation, experiment frameworks, and acquisition loops that directly serve the mobile user base.
Collaborate closely with Product, Business Development, and local market teams to translate commercial goals into concrete, data-backed engineering proposals.
Drive technical decision-making on growth infrastructure, articulating trade-offs clearly and defending or revising positions based on evidence.
Apply AI coding tools actively in your workflow — not just for code generation, but to build and maintain repeatable personal AI development workflows.
Mentor engineers on the team and help establish a culture where engineers bring solutions, not just responses.
What We Look For In You
8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production-quality systems at scale.
Deep familiarity with new user growth, referral and virality mechanics, activity and reward systems, and the client-side architecture behind core business conversion flows.
Strong expertise in mobile attribution design and evolution — hands-on experience with attribution platforms and solutions, and proven ability to drive attribution data into anti-fraud, channel revenue sharing, and ROI evaluation applications.
Proficient in AI-assisted development — able to independently build and maintain personal AI engineering workflows, not just use AI tools ad hoc.
Data instincts: you think in funnels, know how to instrument what matters, and use metrics to drive decisions.
Outspoken and proposal-driven — you come to the table with a point of view, push back when you disagree, and bring data and a counter-proposal rather than just flagging concerns.
Strong cross-functional communication — comfortable working with Product, Business Development, and local markets to align on goals and hold the line on engineering quality.
Nice-To-Haves
Mobile development experience in iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) — or backend experience building growth systems that serve mobile apps directly.
Depth in MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or SKAdNetwork.
Experience building referral systems, k-factor mechanics, or anti-fraud layers.
A/B experiment framework ownership at meaningful scale.
ASO operational experience (App Store Connect, Google Play Console).
Background in fintech, crypto, or regulated consumer financial products.
Experience operating across APAC, EEA, or US markets.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

Your main direction is Product-Led Growth (PLG): the referral program (Refer-a-Friend), onboarding and activation funnels, promo and reward mechanics (loyalty and subscription offers, first-transfer and recharge bonuses, upsell offers), and the experiments that decide which of them ship. It is the main direction, not the only one: you'll take on any work the team owns — home, calling, money-transfer and top-up flows, subscriptions and payments — as the roadmap requires.
You'll work in one of the largest Flutter codebases in production — a monorepo of 100+ internal packages, feature-first clean architecture, and a strong engineering culture around code quality, testing, and automation — and ship in short, instrumented iterations: hypothesis → flag → variant → metric → decision. The app also carries a native calling stack (SIP/VoIP on Android and iOS); experience there is welcome, not required.
What You'll Do:
Growth (main direction)
Build growth mechanics end-to-end
: referral flows (invite links, deferred deep links, reward tracking), onboarding & activation funnels, promo/reward dialogs and offer surfaces, in-app surveys — from a PRD with a success metric to a measured result in production.
Run experiments as a habit
: ship behind feature flags, wire variant assignment from our remote-config / A/B service (fixed-split and multi-armed-bandit tests) and Firebase Remote Config, tag events with test and variant, watch guardrail metrics, and remove the flag once the test is decided.
Instrument and validate analytics
: define and implement Amplitude/GA events and properties, keep the event taxonomy clean across releases, verify events before launch, and read funnel dashboards together with the PM and data team.
Render server-driven promo content
: integrate with our in-house campaign platform — targeted campaigns, remotely configurable copy and creatives, layout updates pushed from the backend in real time — with versioned fallbacks, so campaigns launch without an app release.
Integrate third-party growth SDKs
: attribution (AppsFlyer), Braze (push, content cards), ads (AdMob / AppLovin), payments and KYC vendors — mostly through Flutter plugins, occasionally extending them in Kotlin/Swift via platform channels.
Across the app and team
Ship product features beyond growth
: home screen, calling flows (Flutter UI over the native SIP stack), money-transfer and top-up flows, subscriptions and payments (card and wallet flows, Google/Apple Pay), country selection, chat and social features, performance and tech-debt work — the same standards, a different surface.
Own features within our architecture
: feature-first clean architecture, Bloc/Cubit state management, repositories, immutable state, Result-based error handling; migrate legacy Provider/ViewModel code in the modules you touch (e.g. the referral module) to the current patterns.
Work at real scale
: a Melos-managed monorepo with 100+ packages, strict dependency hierarchy, code generation (json_serializable / freezed), a shared design system, and a 90% diff-coverage gate enforced per package in CI (bloc_test + mocktail).
Keep releases healthy
: trunk-based development, ~2 releases a month through GitHub Actions and Fastlane, Crashlytics plus product-metric monitoring, staged rollouts and kill-switches for risky changes.
Collaborate cross-functionally
: with product managers (growth and core product), backend engineers (campaign, config and A/B services), data & BI, marketing (Braze campaigns) and QA — and push back on asks that cannot be measured.
Use AI-assisted development
as part of the everyday workflow: Cursor / Claude Code / Copilot with in-repo prompts, agents and MCP integrations.
We're Looking For:
5+ years building mobile apps, including 3+ years with Flutter in production.
Strong Flutter/Dart: Bloc/Cubit or comparable structured state management, async programming and isolates, code generation, dependency injection, clean architecture and modularization.
Hands-on, experiment-driven product development: feature flags and remote config (Firebase Remote Config, LaunchDarkly, Statsig, GrowthBook or an in-house service), A/B rollout mechanics (staged rollout, sticky assignment, kill-switch) and analytics instrumentation (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA or similar) — including knowing how your experiments ended.
Deep linking, including deferred deep links and App Links / Universal Links setup; understanding of attribution flows.
Working knowledge of native Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift) at the level of platform-channel and SDK integrations.
Strong testing culture: unit and bloc tests with mocked collaborators, deterministic tests, comfortable working under coverage gates.
Full lifecycle experience: Git, CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions), code signing, store deployment, post-release monitoring.
Product mindset: can work from a PRD with success metrics, propose instrumentation and guardrails, and explain trade-offs to non-engineers.
English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
It Would Be a Plus:
Time on a dedicated growth or monetization team: referral programs, onboarding optimization, paywalls / subscriptions, retention work, multi-armed bandits.
Attribution and marketing SDKs by name: AppsFlyer, Kochava, Adjust, Branch; Braze, Iterable, CleverTap.
Server-driven UI or remotely configurable content systems.
Payments and subscriptions on mobile: card flows, 3DS, in-app purchases, Google/Apple Pay.
VoIP / real-time communication: SIP, WebRTC, CallKit / Telecom framework, push-triggered call handling, audio session management.
Large monorepos (melos, Mason, Dart workspaces); migrating legacy state-management patterns.
Beyond mobile: backend / BFF for growth features, data pipelines, observability.
Telecom, fintech or other regulated consumer products (KYC, fraud vendors).
Comfort with AI-assisted development tooling.

We are hiring the Procurement Lead to build the procurement function and policy from the ground up and drive standardization and savings across our largest spend categories: Networks, Sales & Marketing, and IT/Software.
You will design how Airalo buys, embed a disciplined purchase-to-pay process into our new ERP, and turn fragmented, function-by-function spending into a governed, competitive, and auditable process, and drive savings to every dollar we spend with third parties.
This is a senior role for a builder who will set the policy, run the high-value negotiations, and deliver hard savings that fund growth and protect EBITDA. You will report to the CFO and partner across every spending function in the company.
What you'll do:
Procurement policy & governance
Design and roll out Airalo's procurement policy, delegation-of-authority thresholds, supplier onboarding, and competitive-tendering standards.
Establish clear, proportionate approval workflows that bring control without slowing the business.
Category management
Own the category strategies across the major spend areas: network and infrastructure spends, S&M (agencies, media, martech), IT and SaaS, and professional services.
Build single source of truth with spends visibility and a vendor taxonomy so we know what we buy, from whom, and on what terms; build standardization and a framework to adhere to credit terms.
Maintain a validated savings pipeline reported with Finance, and ensure segregation of duties, audit trail, and anti-fraud controls aligned to the SOX-lite framework.
Strategic sourcing & negotiation
Lead competitive sourcing and high-value negotiations on a total-cost-of-ownership basis; set and deliver savings targets and improve working capital.
Partner with Finance's zero-based budgeting and the process to convert sourcing wins into budgeted savings;
Supplier & contract management
Own master agreements, a renewals calendar, supplier performance, and third-party risk and due diligence.
Purchase-to-pay process & systems
Follow through the PO/PR process and three-way match, support clean accruals, and embed procurement into the ERP as a core stakeholder.
What you'll bring:
10+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial / category management, including building or materially scaling a procurement function in a fast-growth company.
Deep category expertise across indirect spend (marketing, IT/SaaS, professional services); exposure to network, telecom, or infrastructure spend like capacity, routing, wholesale in a must have.
Track record of running competitive tenders and complex negotiations with measurable, validated savings.
Hands-on experience designing PO/PR and purchase-to-pay processes, potentially within an ERP (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft) environment.
Strong command of procurement policy, delegation of authority, supplier risk, and controls.
Influence without authority: credible with senior leaders across Networks, Marketing, and Technology, able to change buying behaviour with evidence.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a high-growth company, including controls and audit-readiness maturity.
Direct involvement in an ERP / P2P implementation.
Comfort operating in a globally distributed, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction business.
