THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled, tech-savvy Legal Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced legal team. As a core member of the department within a leading payment processing company, you will help drive operational excellence, scale our legal tech stack, and streamline workflows.
The ideal candidate helps bridge the gap between legal expertise, technology, and data-driven efficiency. You will be responsible for managing our complex contract ecosystems, optimising team collaboration tools, and leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design modern, automated legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Tech Stack & Automation Strategy: Support the administration, integration, and continuous improvement of our legal technology tools, with a heavy emphasis on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
- Atlassian Ecosystem: Support the legal department's Jira infrastructure. This includes assisting with the design, maintenance, and optimisation of workflows in Jira Service Management (JSM) for legal intake, helping manage Jira Spaces, and building out a comprehensive, user-friendly knowledge base in Confluence.
- AI & Process Engineering: Proactively identify opportunities to embed AI and machine learning tools into everyday legal operations, supporting the development and implementation of AI-driven efficiencies (e.g., automated contract review, AI search optimisation, legal operations chatbots, and automated triaging) to help reduce cycle times.
- Workflow Optimisation: Evaluate existing legal processes, identify bottlenecks in the payment processing legal pipeline (e.g., merchant agreements, vendor contracts, regulatory tracking), and engineer streamlined, scalable workflows.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Design dashboards and generate metrics within Jira and CLM tools to track legal spend, turnaround times, contract volumes, and team capacity. Present actionable insights to legal leadership.
- Vendor & Resource Support: Help manage relationships with legal tech vendors (e.g. Brightflag) and ensure the team is maximising the value of industry resources (e.g., CLOC, ACC).
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Legal Operations, ideally within a fintech, payment processing, or highly regulated corporate environment.
- Experience working with enterprise CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, LinkSquares, Icertis, or Conga), including template building and workflow routing.
- Good working knowledge of Jira, specifically designing custom workflows, queues, and SLAs in JSM, helping manage Jira Spaces, and structuring documentation in Confluence.
- Experience using generative AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI-backed legal tech features to build efficiencies, automate repetitive tasks, and analyse legal data.
- General understanding of the legal operational challenges unique to payment processing, financial services, or tech companies.
Preferred Skills & Core Competencies
- Tech-Forward Mindset: Instead of simply using tools, look for ways to make them talk to each other. Experience with integrations (APIs, Zapier) is a massive plus.
- Problem-Solving & Agility: Ability to thrive in a high-volume, rapidly changing corporate environment.
- Project Management: Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage and support multiple tech implementation projects simultaneously (PRINCE2 qualification a plus, but not necessary).
- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical or legal requirements into clear, user-friendly processes for cross-functional stakeholders such as Product, Sales and Compliance.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is building a new AI business, and you’ll be one of its first technical sellers. Your job is to turn technically complex AI products into closed revenue.
You’ll sell a growing portfolio spanning AI-powered applications and agents for finance teams, as well as infrastructure that helps companies deploy and manage AI with greater control, security, and cost efficiency. This is a product-focused, quota-carrying technical sales role. You’ll help customers evaluate and purchase Ramp’s AI products, translating complex capabilities into clear business value and guiding opportunities from discovery through close.
This is a high-velocity commercial role, not a traditional pre-sales position where success ends with a great demo. You’ll be accountable for turning technical evaluations into commercial wins from start to finish. You’ll lead discovery, shape deal strategy, build executive-level business cases, deliver tailored demonstrations, navigate technical and commercial objections, and create urgency around a clear path to purchase.
You’ll move comfortably between technical and executive conversations. In one meeting, you may discuss model routing, APIs, integrations, data governance, and security with Engineering and IT teams. In the next, you may help Finance and executive leaders understand the ROI, total cost of ownership, and operational impact of adopting Ramp’s AI products.
You’ll join at a formative moment for Ramp’s AI business. As one of the first dedicated sellers for these products, you’ll help identify the strongest use cases, refine how we position and sell the portfolio, influence the customer experience, and build the playbook the broader team will eventually scale. You’ll own the full customer lifecycle from discovery and evaluation through close, implementation, and adoption, helping customers translate their purchase into a successful deployment. This role combines Ramp’s resources and customer reach with the ownership, speed, and ambiguity of an early-stage team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Carry a revenue quota and own the progression of AI product opportunities from initial discovery through purchase, ensuring business value is clear, technical requirements are validated, and obstacles to a decision are resolved.
- Lead discovery with business and technical buyers to understand their goals, workflows, challenges, decision criteria, existing systems, and AI strategy.
- Translate Ramp’s AI applications and infrastructure into compelling solution narratives tied to measurable business outcomes.
- Build ROI and total cost of ownership analyses that quantify the value of Ramp’s AI products and create executive-level justification for investment.
- Help customers identify high-value use cases, set realistic expectations, and establish a credible path from evaluation to production.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations, technical workshops, and proofs of concept with clear success criteria that establish value and build confidence in a purchase decision.
- Build relationships with champions and decision-makers across Engineering, IT, Security, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and executive leadership.
- Navigate questions related to APIs, integrations, model capabilities and limitations, data flows, architecture, privacy, security, governance, implementation, and tradeoffs among quality, cost, latency, and control.
- Apply strong commercial judgment to qualify opportunities, create urgency, address objections, identify risk, and keep customers moving toward a decision.
- Lead customers through implementation after purchase, including deployment planning, stakeholder alignment, workflow design, technical coordination, enablement, and adoption.
- Partner with Account Executives and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Marketing, and post-sales teams to remove deployment blockers and deliver a strong customer experience from evaluation through production.
- Bring structured customer and market feedback to internal teams to improve the products, positioning, sales execution, and customer experience.
- Turn early customer conversations into repeatable messaging, demonstrations, qualification criteria, value stories, and sales plays as we build this go-to-market motion from the ground up.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, technical sales, Solutions Architecture, enterprise software sales, or a related customer-facing role.
- Direct quota-carrying or deal-closing ownership of the pre-sale cycle—not only experience delivering demonstrations or supporting post-sale implementation.
- A track record of independently influencing and winning complex B2B sales opportunities with clear revenue accountability.
- Strong discovery and value-selling skills, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to build executive-level business cases, including ROI and total cost of ownership analyses; this capability will be central to success in the role.
- Commercial instincts and comfort taking meaningful ownership of deal strategy, momentum, and results.
- Technical fluency across modern AI systems, including applications and agents, model capabilities and limitations, APIs, integrations, data flows, security, governance, and tradeoffs among quality, cost, latency, and control.
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to make complex concepts clear and relevant to different audiences.
- The ability to explain probabilistic, rapidly evolving AI technology with credibility and precision without overpromising what the product can do.
- Experience building champions and navigating multi-threaded buying groups with competing priorities.
- High ownership, curiosity, sound judgment, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where you’ll build structure as you go rather than inherit it.
- Energy for zero-to-one work and the opportunity to build a sales motion rather than simply inherit one.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling AI infrastructure, AI applications or agents, developer tools, data platforms, security products, finance technology, or workflow automation software.
- Experience helping launch a new product or develop an early go-to-market motion.
- Familiarity with AI gateways, model routing, usage controls, data governance, or enterprise AI deployment.
- Experience selling to developers, IT, Security, Finance, Operations, Procurement, or executive stakeholders.
- Experience creating reusable sales assets, demonstrations, value frameworks, or enablement programs.

ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Security Team is responsible for securing all things Sentry: our customers, our code, and everything in between. We are a small but growing team with broad scope, high trust, and the autonomy to tackle hard security problems with creativity and an engineering mindset. We work at a company with a strong developer culture, building a product that millions of developers genuinely love and rely on. That context shapes everything about how we operate.
We take a pragmatic approach to preventing and responding to security risks. In this role not only will you build and contribute to systems which detect malicious activity, you will have the unique opportunity to implement new controls to prevent future incidents. You will work across detection and response and corporate security domains. You'll contribute to practices that keep Sentry secure as we grow: alert triage for corporate and production, detection engineering, deploying preventative controls, identity and access management, investigations and incident response, and more.
You'll partner with teams across the company to prevent and respond to security incidents. You will work as a technical collaborator who prioritizes preventative controls, defense in depth, and high signal alerting practices. As Sentry expands our agentic product capabilities and development practices, you'll also find yourself at the frontier of a new set of security approaches and challenges.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Maintain, improve, and own detection engineering systems. We own and operate our own detection stack and are building agentic triage with thoughtful security response and orchestration automation.
- Perform investigations, and contribute to security incident response. You will assist and contribute to a breadth of incident types, or Sentry and our customers.
- Contribute to, maintain, and operate identity and access management systems. Access management is a critical component of our security program.
- Have a lot of opportunity to grow and learn across many security domains. We are a highly cross-functional team and you will have opportunities to touch adjacent security projects spanning appsec, infrasec, governance, and privacy.
- Research, identify, and respond to emerging threats relevant to Sentry. We build and operate a complex application and cloud environment, including the novel attack surface introduced by Sentry's agentic product features and AI-assisted engineering practices.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU
- Enjoy operating cross-functionally, building relationships, and influencing with technical expertise as you protect a fast-moving engineering organization.
- Get excited when something new lands on your desk, be it an interesting breach, a sweet exploit, a novel agentic architecture, an unfamiliar cloud primitive, or a bug class you haven't seen before.
- Love working in a developer-forward culture where your colleagues are builders who care deeply about code quality and customer satisfaction.
- Reach for automation first, you'd rather build a scalable, systematic solution to a security problem than make a noisy reactive solution which requires manual triage.
- Thrive with ownership and want more of it, you prefer to drive work end-to-end, and you're energized by the autonomy — and the mentorship — that comes with being on a small, high-trust team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of industry experience in a detection and response, corporate security, or generalist security engineering role
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent training, or professional experience
- Hands-on experience with several of the following: alert triage, detection tuning and writing, detection-as-code, security log ingestion, investigations and security incident response, identity and access management (IAM), phishing response, user access reviews, managing endpoint detection and response tooling
- Experienced and comfortable programing in at least one language (Python preferred) and comfortable using agentic development workflows
- Familiarity with operating distributed cloud technology (AWS, CICD, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.) and experience with corporate (SSO, SAML, IAM) and defensive security tooling (EDR, SIEM, CNAPP, ZTNA, etc.)
- A collaborative approach to problem solving paired with strong written and verbal communication
Not sure if you meet 100% of the qualifications? We encourage you to apply anyway. We're interested in people are excited about this opportunity and eager to grow.

Ramp builds software that moves real money, from bill payments and corporate cards to reimbursements, accounting integrations, and travel. Our customers rely on us to keep their operations running: invoices get paid, books get closed, and finance leaders can trust the data behind every decision.
In this role, you will be the person who spots where customers are getting stuck and drives issues to a clear resolution. You will learn a complex product deeply enough to troubleshoot across payments, bank linking, accounting syncs, and card programs, then partner with teams across Engineering, Risk, Product, and Partnerships to get problems solved. This is not script-based support. You will triage, investigate, and make high-signal judgment calls throughout the day.
You will thrive in this role if you are a systems thinker and deeply customer obsessed. Support is the baseline. How you think about improving processes, tools, and outcomes is what sets you apart.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the voice of Ramp's Customer Support. You'll spend your day engaging with customers, primarily via live calls, email, and chat.
- Diagnose across a broad product surface. Ramp isn't one product — it's payments, cards, travel, accounting integrations, and more. You'll need to understand how they connect and where they break.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, managing escalations end-to-end. You take full accountability for every ticket you handle. When an issue crosses team boundaries — risk, engineering, product, partnerships — you route it correctly, follow up, and make sure the customer isn't left waiting. You'll work across Zendesk, internal tooling, and Slack-based escalation workflows.
- Build and shape AI tools, not just use them. Ramp is building AI into CX operations. You'll use AI-powered research tools and proprietary tools like Glass daily, provide direct feedback on what's working, and play an active role in how these tools evolve. You're not just a user — you're a builder. We are all builders at Ramp.
- Ship improvements, not just flag them. When you notice a process gap, a missing SOP, or a knowledge base article that's sending associates down the wrong path, you don't just raise it — you have the autonomy to roll up your sleeves and fix it. Leverage AI to solve problems, build automations, and improve the systems around you. The best people in this role make the whole team better.
- Communicate with precision and empathy. Our customers are financially sophisticated. You need to explain what's happening, what you're doing about it, and what they should expect — clearly and without filler.
WHAT YOU NEED
- You're a systems thinker: you don't just solve the ticket in front of you, you ask why the problem exists and how to prevent it from happening again.
- You actively use AI tools — Claude, Notion AI, research and workflow tools — and can demonstrate how you've applied them to get real work done. This is a hard requirement.
- You're fast-moving while holding yourself to a high bar for execution: you balance speed, accuracy, and thoroughness in every interaction.
- You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
- You manage competing priorities without dropping things. When you have 15 open issues across 4 internal teams, nothing falls through.
- You write clearly and concisely. You can explain a payment reconciliation issue to a CFO without jargon.
- You're comfortable on the phone. Many interactions start there.
- You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding key performance standards, including CSAT, QA, and speed-of-service metrics.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building workflows or automations using AI tools, not just prompting
- Familiarity with accounting workflows (AP/AR, GL, reconciliation) or ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Background in payments infrastructure (ACH, wire transfers, card networks)
- Track record of working somewhere that shipped product fast and expected CX to keep up
WHY BE A CX ASSOCIATE AT RAMP
- Cross-functional exposure from day one. You work directly with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams — not siloed into a support queue.
- AI tools and unlimited access. Unlimited tokens, proprietary AI tools like Glass, and a culture that expects you to use them to move faster and build smarter.
- Career growth that you own. Grow within CX, explore other functions internally, or carve out a path that doesn't exist yet. If you're invested, we're invested.
- Culture that's different from a call center. Team events, in-person offsites, and a genuine commitment to building a team people want to be part of.

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is very widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. Our customers include the world's leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in many sectors. The company is a pioneer of global distributed collaboration, with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries and very few office based roles. Teams meet two to four times yearly in person, in interesting locations around the world, to align on strategy and execution.
The company is founder led, profitable and growing.
Canonical builds the open-source software that runs the world’s clouds, devices and AI, and we hold our managers to a high standard. Our Talent Development team exists to make leaders and managers at Canonical genuinely excellent. We define what great management looks like here, and we put that standard into the hands of managers and leaders across the company.
The Organisational Development Associate is where our most driven early-career people begin. From day one you work with real teams and take on real change, coached hard by senior practitioners on a fast path toward running this work yourself. This is not a support or back-office role, and it is not generalist HR. We hire for potential, drive and coachability over a polished CV, and we back the people we hire to move fast.
Applying to this role will enter you into our People Track for consideration across roles in the function.
Location
: These are remote based positions, available across EMEA and the Americas.
The role entails
Being embedded inside a real team: see how it works day to day, and surface what is and isn't working.
Running the diagnostics on a team's health and management effectiveness (engagement, 360, direct feedback), and turning the evidence into a clear, honest read.
Owning an improvement end to end: a concrete change to how a team works that you design, drive and land, with a senior practitioner alongside you.
Supporting managers in delivering effective 360 performance feedback to individuals and helping them turn it into two or three real commitments they follow through on.
Helping build the playbook: the standards, tools and shared language the whole function runs on. You are building the system others use, not producing filler.
Learning coaching and organisational development directly from senior practitioners, on a fast, visible path to running this work yourself.
What we are looking for in you
A track record of leading and organising early. You have run things, built things, won people over and made change happen, in a startup, a student society, the military, a team, anywhere. People around you already see you as a driver.
A deliberate pull toward developing people and organisations. You chose this field on purpose, with a real grounding in organisational or industrial psychology, behavioural science or a comparable basis. It is not a fallback.
Drive and eagerness to learn. You have your own ideas and the confidence to challenge, and you are hungry to be coached and to grow fast.
The presence to sit across from experienced people and talk about change with confidence.
An exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
Up to around two years of experience since graduating.
Business level written and spoken English.
Organised, accurate, confident, authentic, results-oriented, and enthusiastic.
Sincere personal motivation aligned with our mission.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
In addition we expect that you will match our values, by being:
Precise, taking care to deliver correctness and clarity.
Reliable, delivering high quality work that builds trust and confidence.
Accessible, collaborating to build products and systems that are usable.
Adroit, blending enthusiasm, knowledge, adaptability, style and character.
Nice-to-have skills
Any exposure to people, organisational, coaching or consulting work, through study, an internship or a first job.
A genuine interest in the craft of management and organisations, not just the subject matter.
Comfort working with data.

- Excellent programming skills in Go (Golang), with a deep understanding of concurrent, memory-efficient, and low-latency backend architectures.
- A strong engineering background with a proven track record of implementing, owning, and scaling experimentation systems, feature-flagging infrastructures, or similar data-intensive backend systems.
- A proven ability to raise the bar for engineering standards through effective coaching, mentorship, and a relentless drive for platform improvement.
- Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical or statistical concepts to multidisciplinary teams and influence positive outcomes across the organization.
- A detail-oriented and data-driven approach to building infrastructure solutions where accuracy, thoroughness, and low latency are absolutely critical.
- You take initiative and are deeply accountable to your internal customers and engineering colleagues.
- Bonus: experience with implementing solutions for adaptive experimentation ML (contextual bandits, Bayesian optimization or RL-based allocation)
