At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for Render's first Forward Deployed Engineer to work hands-on with our most strategic customers. Our largest contracts and fastest-growing AI startups are scaling on Render, and this role provides them with a dedicated, concierge-level technical partnership. You will balance two motions: white-glove engagement with our top accounts, where you work closely with the customer's engineering team as a trusted technical partner, and scoped onboarding intensives that get high-growth startups confidently building on the platform. As the first FDE in our Field Engineering organization, you will define the playbook for this function, prove the model, and shape how it scales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work closely with Render's top accounts as their dedicated technical partner, providing concierge service across architecture reviews, migration planning, and hands-on delivery.
- Run scoped onboarding intensives for high-growth startups, from intake and success criteria through hands-on-keyboard execution.
- Lead the database side of customer engagements, including Postgres architecture, performance tuning, and complex data migrations from Heroku, AWS, and other cloud providers.
- Drive activation and expansion in strategic accounts: turn major credit grants into durable production adoption, surface expansion signals from your technical work, and partner with the account team to convert them into revenue.
- Own the ongoing technical relationship for your accounts: proactive architecture and health reviews, collaborative roadmap sessions, incident follow-up and RCA, and escalation point for hard technical problems, working closely with the account team.
- Build the FDE playbook: qualification criteria, engagement templates, success metrics, and reference architectures that make the program repeatable.
- Act as a high-signal feedback channel to product and engineering, translating customer friction into prioritized product input.
- Partner with Account Managers and Customer Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs after each engagement and durable long-term coverage.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years in a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role: forward deployed, solutions, customer, or professional services engineering.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals; you can write production-quality code and work hands-on-keyboard inside a customer's codebase.
- Deep experience with cloud infrastructure: containers, CI/CD, networking, autoscaling, and running real workloads in production.
- Deep Postgres and database expertise: schema design, performance tuning, replication, and production data migrations. Our largest engagements consistently turn on this skill set.
- AI fluency: you work with AI tools daily to accelerate your own delivery, and you understand LLM application architectures well enough to guide the teams building them.
- Excellent communication with everyone from startup founders to enterprise platform teams, including executive-level conversations.
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; you can stand up a new function without an existing playbook.
- Commercial instincts: you understand how technical wins connect to expansion, renewal, and revenue.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Migration experience from Heroku, AWS, or other clouds onto modern platforms.
- Hands-on experience shipping AI and LLM applications (RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, inference workloads); many of our fastest-growing accounts are AI-native.
- Prior experience as the first hire in a role or a founding member of a new program.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

About the Job:
At LaunchDarkly, our Product-Led Growth (PLG) motion is evolving rapidly. We are looking for an experienced, highly analytical, and strategic Senior Growth Marketing Analyst to help us decode the digital body language of our prospects and users.
In this role, you will leverage wide-ranging experience across GTM disciplines to help build, optimize, and scale our PLG engines. Reporting to the Principal Growth Marketer or Director of Growth Marketing, you will resolve complex data and operational issues requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors mapping user and account signals across channels, establishing the "next best action" for high-value leads, and optimizing conversion pathways. You will act with a high degree of independence to determine methods and procedures on new assignments, collaborating across Marketing, Product, RevOps, and Data engineering teams to drive function-impacting results.
Responsibilities:
Data & Signal Strategy
Audit, track, and categorize 1st-party, 3rd-party (e.g., 6sense, GitHub), and product/marketing signals across target contacts and enterprise accounts.
Evaluate variable factors and intangible data nuances to distinguish technical practitioner actions (e.g., SDK deployment) from broader enterprise intent (e.g., security evaluations).
Partner cross-functionally with Data Engineering and RevOps to clean, enrich, and continuously source high-intent signal data.
Feed signal combinations, recency, and frequency into predictive models to refine lead routing and account prioritization.
Activation Strategy
Use signal combinations to define the right "next best action" for accounts and individual users based on their segment, ICP fit, and stage (e.g., prospect vs. existing customer).
Map and trigger appropriate activation responses ranging from personalized marketing content to white-glove outreach from Product Advocates or automated handoffs to SDRs and Enterprise AEs.
Operational Motion & Cross-Functional Integration
Act as the primary business lead to cross-functionally implement, refine, and maintain activation workflows across Marketing, Product, Sales Ops, and Data teams.
Apply an understanding of the interrelationships between different disciplines to navigate complex cross-team dependencies and drive strategic alignment.
Help define and iterate on sales-facing tools (such as a "single pane of glass" interface) that surface product affinity, app usage, intent signals, and account fit to enable sales execution.
Maintain structured feedback loops with Product Advocates, SDRs, and sales reps to assess lead quality and continuously refine signal logic.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Experimentation
Analyze and optimize conversion rates across the end-to-end flow—from initial signal capture to activation, handoff, and pipeline generation.
Independently design and run growth experiments (in-product onboarding adjustments, messaging, routing logic) to maximize engagement and move accounts through the buyer journey.
System Administration & Technical Tooling
Manage technical configuration, tracking setups, and ongoing maintenance for core data and analytics platforms (e.g., GA360/GA4, customer data platforms, product analytics).
Maintain rigorous data flow standards and proper tag/tracking setups across web properties, marketing tools, and product analytics environments.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of related experience in growth marketing, marketing analytics, revenue operations, or PLG strategy within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Cross-Disciplinary Expertise: Deep understanding of B2B SaaS growth tactics, PLG motions, marketing technology stacks, and revenue analytics, with a proven ability to bridge Marketing, Sales Ops, Data, and Product management.
Independent Problem Solving: Proven track record of independently determining methods and procedures on complex, ambiguous assignments requiring evaluation of variable factors.
Technical: Hands-on proficiency with web analytics (GA360/GA4), product analytics (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel), CDPs, SQL, and CRM/automation platforms.

About the Role
Osano is growing our outbound Business Development team, and we’re looking for BDRs who want to help shape how we build pipeline and connect with prospective customers.
This isn’t a role where success means following a rigid script or sending as many templated sequences as possible. We believe great outbound starts with curiosity, thoughtful research, and genuine conversations. You’ll have the autonomy to experiment with your approach, learn what resonates with our buyers, and bring new ideas to the team.
You’ll own your results while working closely with Sales and the broader GTM organization to build qualified pipeline and help companies understand how Osano can solve their privacy challenges.
What Success Looks Like
You prioritize quality and outcomes
We’re not looking to put every prospect in front of an Account Executive. Great BDRs understand when there’s a real opportunity to help and create conversations that are valuable for both the prospect and Osano.
You will:
Research prospects and accounts thoughtfully before reaching out
Understand a prospect’s business and potential privacy challenges
Qualify for genuine alignment, not simply interest
Take a consultative approach to conversations rather than a transactional one
Create qualified pipeline while being thoughtful about the time of our prospects and AEs
You use AI to work smarter
We want people who are curious about how AI and modern technology can make them better at their craft. You’ll use AI to improve research, personalize outreach, organize information, test ideas, and find more effective ways to connect with prospects, without losing the human element that makes great selling work.
You’re motivated to improve
You set a high bar for yourself and are always looking for ways to get better. You’re open to coaching, willing to experiment, and comfortable learning from both wins and misses. You don’t need someone constantly pushing you to take the next step — you bring that motivation with you.
What You’ll Do
Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting into marketing, compliance, data security, legal, and privacy teams
Research accounts and identify organizations navigating evolving privacy and regulatory requirements
Create personalized, thoughtful outreach across multiple channels
Engage prospects through phone, email, social, and other creative approaches
Understand prospects’ goals and challenges and qualify opportunities before partnering with AEs
Build authentic relationships through curiosity, credibility, and genuine helpfulness
Stay current on privacy trends, regulations, competitors, and Osano’s evolving product suite
Collaborate with Account Executives and the broader GTM team to identify and pursue opportunities
Experiment with messaging, prospecting strategies, AI, and new tools to improve results
Share what you’re learning and help shape our outbound processes, messaging, and playbooks as we continue to grow
What You’ll Bring
A results-driven mindset and an understanding of how consistent prospecting activity translates into pipeline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity and the ability to ask thoughtful questions
A willingness to pick up the phone, experiment with different approaches, and learn what works
Resilience and the ability to stay motivated through the ups and downs of outbound sales
Comfort using AI and modern sales technology to work more effectively
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others while taking ownership of your own development
Interest in data privacy, compliance, technology, or the broader regulatory landscape, or excitement about becoming an expert
The ability to thrive in a remote environment through proactive communication, organization, and initiative
Previous BDR or sales experience is helpful, but experience level matters less to us than curiosity, coachability, drive, and the ability to connect with people. We’re willing to invest in developing the right person.

Type: Full Time Internship (June 1, 2027 - August 31, 2027)
The Role
Help build the technology behind Nex Playground—where games, computer vision, consumer hardware, and cloud services come together to get families moving.
The Platform Software Engineering (PSWE) team owns the core platform powering every Playground experience. As a Platform Software Engineer Intern, you’ll own a meaningful project, make real technical decisions, and ship software with visible impact. A dedicated mentor and engineers across the Nex team will support you from design through launch.
What You'll Build
Your project will match your strengths and interests while solving a real team need. You may:
Ship a new capability for PlayOS, Play Services, or the cloud platform.
Build an API, service, developer tool, or delivery automation used by other teams.
Improve performance and reliability using testing, logs, metrics, and telemetry.
Debug problems across device, network, backend, and cloud boundaries.
Take your work from idea to launch: design, build, test, document, and measure it.
Should Have
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a learning mindset.
Experience with at least one language or runtime such as Kotlin/Java, C/C++, Go, Python, TypeScript/Node.js.
Clear communication, collaboration, and care for software quality.
Nice To Have
Experience with Android, Linux, embedded systems, or device software.
Familiarity with backend services, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or Google Cloud Platform.
Exposure to CI/CD, containers, release automation, monitoring, testing, or performance optimization.
Genuine interest in building platform software that connects devices, cloud services, and player experiences.
Curiosity about one or more of these areas: Android or embedded systems, backend and distributed systems, developer infrastructure, games, or technology that helps people be active together.
Enthusiasm for learning across technical boundaries and understanding how a feature works end to end.
Why You’ll Love This Internship
Real Ownership: Ship a production-ready project—not a throwaway intern exercise.
Dedicated Mentorship: Learn through regular 1:1s, design reviews, debugging, and code feedback.
Broad Exposure: See how device software, cloud services, infrastructure, privacy, and security work together.
Future Opportunity: High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time role at Nex.

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
As the Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for the Americas at Cohere, you will own the US and Canada commercial Solutions Architecture function. You will lead the team that turns enterprise interest in agentic AI into deployed, production systems, and you will be accountable for the technical win in the most competitive AI market in the world. The United States and Canada are our largest commercial opportunity, and this seat owns how we win them.
You will take an established, distributed team of strong technical people and raise what it can do — setting the bar and establishing the operating rhythm that lets a team of generalists run consistent, industry-fluent plays at enterprise scale. You will set direction for the function, sit on the Solution Architecture leadership team alongside the regional leaders for EMEA and Asia Pacific, and contribute to company-wide decisions with your peers across Sales, Product and Engineering.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Lead and Scale the Organization: Build, coach and develop a high-performing Solutions Architecture organization across the US and Canada, and grow the senior technical talent within it.
- Own the Technical Win: Be personally accountable for the technical outcome of the region’s most strategic pursuits, and be in the room for the ones that decide the year.
- Own the US Market: Lead how Cohere positions, proves and sells into US enterprises — our largest commercial opportunity, and the market this seat is measured on.
- Extend Our Reach: Grow the share of the region’s pipeline the team is technically leading, and make sure we are engaged early on the opportunities that matter most.
- Own the Number with Sales: Partner with regional Sales leadership as a co-owner of the region’s number, not as a support function to it.
- Set Direction for the Function: Define the vision, strategy and operating model for Americas Solutions Architecture, and hold your leaders accountable for delivery and execution against it.
- Build Repeatable Solution Practices: Establish scalable solution-selling methodologies, industry playbooks, executive narratives, business cases and technical delivery frameworks that improve consistency and win rates.
- Architect Enterprise AI Solutions: Guide customers in designing secure, scalable, production-ready agentic AI solutions across cloud, hybrid, VPC and on-premises environments.
- Shape Product Direction: Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback and market needs into platform improvements and roadmap priorities.
- Attract Talent to Cohere: Bring senior technical field talent with you and continue to attract it. Building the bench is part of the job, not a consequence of it.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop the Americas commercial Solutions Architecture team through coaching, hiring, performance management and career development.
- Partner with regional Sales leadership to pursue and close strategic enterprise opportunities across financial services, healthcare, energy, technology and other key verticals.
- Own the region’s technical coverage model, and ensure the team is engaged early and consistently on the opportunities that matter most.
- Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations and technical deep dives with C-suite and senior customer stakeholders.
- Develop business cases, solution architectures, implementation roadmaps and technical proposals that align customer objectives with Cohere’s platform.
- Guide customers through the deployment of enterprise AI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, governance and operational readiness.
- Create repeatable solution assets, industry playbooks and best practices that enable the team to consistently deliver high-quality customer engagements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success to ensure alignment between customer needs and platform evolution, and contribute to decisions that reach beyond your own function.
- Serve as the voice of the field by capturing customer feedback and competitive insights that influence product strategy.
- Own and report on the region’s operational and commercial metrics, including technical win rates, pipeline health, coverage and team performance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Leadership Experience: 15+ years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting or Enterprise Architecture, including 7+ years leading customer-facing technical teams, and a record of developing people into senior and leadership roles.
- People Leadership: A proven record of hiring, coaching and developing high-performing Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering teams, and of building or transforming an organization rather than inheriting a healthy one.
- Executive Presence: You command a room. You are credible in front of a CEO and their business leaders, the people who own the problem and the budget, and equally credible in front of a Chief Information Officer, a Chief AI Officer or a Chief Information Security Officer. You can move between the business case and the architecture without losing either audience.
- Hands-On Technical Credibility: You are technical enough to be believed by a strong engineering bench. You work with models and agents yourself, you can pressure-test your team’s architecture, and you can be the most useful person in a design conversation when it matters. This is a player-coach seat, not an overlay.
- Commercial Acumen: A demonstrated ability to partner with enterprise Sales leadership, influence strategic deals, and articulate business value to executive stakeholders. You have carried a number and can point to deals you personally moved.
- Consulting Mindset: Experience leading complex enterprise solution engagements, developing business cases, implementation plans and executive-ready recommendations.
- Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of modern AI architectures, including large language models, agentic systems, retrieval, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, hybrid and on-premises deployments, security and governance.
- Enterprise Experience: Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions in complex, regulated or large-scale environments.
- Cross-Functional Influence: A record of contributing to decisions beyond your own function, and of working effectively with Product and Engineering leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building or turning around a regional technical field organization, and evidence of what changed as a result.
- Background in enterprise AI, cloud, or data platform companies, or applied AI consulting organizations.
- Experience supporting customers in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, energy, or the public sector.
- Experience building repeatable solution-selling methodologies and helping generalist technical teams operate at a consistently high level.
- A network of senior technical field talent you can attract to Cohere.
- Experience operating in high-growth environments where speed, ownership and cross-functional collaboration are critical.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.

- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.

- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.

ABOUT THE TEAM
At Mural, we believe great collaboration starts with deep understanding. Our mission is to help teams think and work together better. The Design and Research team uncovers the truths that power that mission, guiding product, design, and strategy through rigorous, human-centered inquiry. We combine behavioral science, market insight, and creative exploration to shape Mural’s future for how teams ideate, align, and collaborate together across the world.
YOUR MISSION
As the Principal, User Researcher at Mural, you’ll start a UX research practice and lead foundational and strategic research that shapes how the company defines its next generation of experiences. You’ll partner across product, design, sales, marketing, and strategy to identify new opportunity spaces, clarify evolving user needs, and guide the organization toward long-term innovation.
This is a primarily individual-contributor role focused on uncovering deep human collaboration insights that drive strategy, innovation, and long-term vision. You’ll also help shape and scale the UXR discipline at Mural by mentoring designers to confidently run tactical usability studies, and establishing the frameworks and best practices that elevate research across the company. Think of it as being the first research leader at a fast-growing startup, with the reach and resources of a global platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Player Responsibilities (Individual Contributor Work):
- Lead mixed-methods research (qualitative and quantitative) that explores user needs, behaviors, and motivations across multiple product areas.
- Drive foundational studies that reveal how teams collaborate and what barriers exist in business collaboration, hybrid, and distributed work.
- Design and execute medium to large-scale studies that combine qualitative depth with quantitative rigor (surveys, logs analysis, segmentation, and concept testing).
- Develop a tempo where actionable insights are timely and urgently positioned to shape key product decisions.
- Translate ambiguous questions into clear learning plans and frameworks that guide product and strategy decisions.
- Build artifacts (archetypes, frameworks, journey maps, mental models) that make complex insights accessible and actionable across the company, leveraging Mural products.
- Present insights to an executive, cross-functional audience and provide strategic recommendations based on these insights.
Coach Responsibilities:
- Build the research practice: mentor designers, and product partners in research best practices, helping to scale a culture of curiosity and evidence-based decision making.
- Establish repeatable, high-quality research standards and methodologies across teams.
- Partner with design and product leadership to shape Mural’s long-term research vision and roadmap.
- Champion the role of research in early product strategy and company-wide initiatives.
Hybrid Responsibilities (Both Player & Coach):
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to prioritize research that informs Mural’s most critical next-generation bets.
- Facilitate workshops and storytelling sessions that bring insights to life and influence direction across product, design, and business strategy.
- Partner with Data Science and Market Research to integrate behavioral data, attitudinal insights, and business signals into cohesive, actionable narratives.
- Shape how research connects to strategy, innovation, and experimentation at every level of the company.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 10+ years of UX Research experience, including deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods. PhD optional.
- Proven track record leading foundational and strategic research that influenced product direction, vision, or long-term investments.
- Ability to design and execute mixed-methods research independently: from ethnographic and in-depth interviews to survey design and statistical analysis.
- Scale strategic insights: Experience driving organizational understanding through storytelling, synthesis, and actionable frameworks.
- Strong systems thinking skills, with an ability to connect human insight to product architecture and long-term design strategy.
- Experience shaping and scaling research practices in growing organizations.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping cross-functional teams find clarity and alignment.
- Strong communicator who can engage both executive and hands-on audiences with empathy, clarity, and conviction.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE MURAL
You’ll shape new ways of working, as we interact with AI, team members, and customers. You’ll work on some of the most compelling and open-ended questions about the future of collaboration: how people align, make decisions, and innovate. You’ll have the freedom to define the big questions, run the right studies, and guide the company toward its next horizon.
At Mural, we “drink our own champagne” and leverage our product for online collaboration. This role is U.S. Remote. Your work will inform the strategy of a rapidly scaling company that believes research is the compass, not just the map.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
