You see software development and team organization not as a rigid set of rules, but as a craft that deserves better tools. You want to design complex, data-rich productivity platforms where information architecture is a first-class problem, and you want to rethink how humans work alongside AI. If you are a designer who values hands-on craft, hates unnecessary bureaucracy, and wants the autonomy to build a team's design process from scratch, this role was built for you.
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 companies rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
YouTrack handles serious complexity – agile boards, backlogs, knowledge bases, helpdesks, and deeply customizable workflows – across teams from two-person startups to global enterprises. We’re at a point where the category's oldest assumptions are worth reconsidering. Issue tracking has relied on the same foundational blocks for years, but AI opens an opportunity to rethink how software can actively help teams get work done.
We need a Lead Product Designer to shape where project management goes next while keeping a massive, mature surface area coherent, legible, and a pleasant to use. In this role, you’ll lead a small design team of two designers, own the overall design quality bar across the product, and act as an individual contributor on our hardest, least-charted problems. You’ll build a fresh design process from scratch with the full backing of a team lead who respects craft and values professional judgment.
Day to day, you will:
Shape a point of view on how project management and issue tracking evolve in an AI-native world and turn those concepts into tools people can actually use.
Design how people work alongside AI capabilities in YouTrack, from conversational interfaces to inline assistance and background automation.
Develop interaction patterns for unsettled problems, including surfacing AI confidence, making actions transparent, and keeping users in control.
Prototype and test new concepts quickly, separating ideas that feel clever from those that genuinely reduce friction.
Keep a large, deep product coherent so that boards, helpdesks, reports, and administration feel like a single cohesive engine.
Partner with product management and engineering to shape roadmap priorities from a design perspective, influencing what gets built and why.
What you’ll bring
A deep commitment to craft ownership, holding yourself and your team to high standards without creating bottlenecks.
Comfort building clear, lightweight processes, without turning them into restrictive bureaucracy.
The generosity to share knowledge openly and collaborate across a broad, global design community.
Clarity in your writing and reasoning, with the ability to explain complex design decisions in plain words.
Comfort with ambiguity and a healthy appetite for finding the right questions before designing the answers.
Strong opinions, loosely held, with a clear understanding of when to follow platform conventions and when to break them.
What you’ll need
Successfully led the design of complex, data-rich productivity tools or software systems where information architecture is a primary challenge.
Proven understanding of how modern AI systems operate beyond single-turn prompts, including agentic workflows and multi-step execution.
Experience mentoring and leading other designers, giving clear feedback that lands and raises the bar.
Ability to design unified experiences that cater to small startup teams and large enterprise customers simultaneously.
A portfolio showing a range of work from precise micro-interactions to large-scale information architecture.
What success looks like
Success means earning the trust of your team and peers through sound interaction choices and clear systemic improvements. You will establish a reliable critique rhythm and a structured way of working that helps your designers grow. Within your first few months, delivering clear patterns for our AI capabilities, paying down accumulated UX debt, and ensuring YouTrack remains both deep and remarkably quick on its feet.
Why join JetBrains?

We do this with courage to innovate, commitment to outcomes, collaboration across 50+ nationalities and 7 markets, and a customer-led approach that puts real people first. Add a desire to win – and you get a culture that's ambitious, fast-moving, and built on trust.
Our brands – including AutoTrader, OLX, Otomoto Property24, and more – are loved by millions. And we're backed by Prosus, one of the world's largest tech investors.
Join OLX and see how far you can go.
Join Our Team as an AI-native Staff Backend Engineer!
Join one of our cross-functional teams in Motors, Real Estate, OLX Classifieds, or Platforms, working remotely from Poland.
Are you someone who is craving scalable problems and dealing with optimizations?
You'll work with a creative, critical, and well-organized team from the comfort of your house, but as close as we have ever been!
You will play a key role in enabling our organisation to scale efficiently.
Who we are looking for:
You can use agentic workflows (Claude Code, Cursor Agent, or equivalent) as your default, not as a novelty.
You practice context engineering, not just prompt engineering; you design the full information architecture an AI agent needs to succeed: repo structure, CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md configs, relevant code context, memory, and tool access.
You understand model routing trade-offs (e.g., when to use Haiku vs. Sonnet vs. Opus) and multi-agent orchestration.
Strong ownership instinct: AI output is a first draft, not a deliverable; you validate, refactor, and take full accountability.
You have strong Coding and Computer Science Fundamentals. Roughly ⅔ of your time will be hands-on technical work: designing solutions, steering and reviewing AI-generated code, developing new ideas, and reviewing others' contributions. The rest goes to cross-team influence, mentoring, and strategic alignment.
Strong background experience in Golang, Java/Kotlin (preferred technologies), and able to work with PHP. Flexible and capable of adjusting to changing project requirements, roles, and backend technologies as needed.
Scalable Systems Expertise. Experience with large-scale web applications, an economic-thinking mindset, and being able to design well-bounded future-proof domain systems, aligned with the business objectives.
Deep expertise in scalable distributed systems, CI/CD, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, AWS, and relational + NoSQL databases.
Big-picture thinker: aligns technical decisions with business strategy, influences without authority.
Clear communicator in English across engineering, product, and leadership audiences.
Self-starter who identifies what needs doing and takes initiative without waiting to be asked.
Skilled Technical Leader and Mentor: Guide and support engineers by setting a strong example. As a Staff Engineer, you are a role model, leading by example and through your expertise.
What you will be doing:
Architect context pipelines for AI agents: curate what enters the context window (repo boundaries, domain knowledge, test outputs, CI feedback) so agents produce reliable, mergeable code, not just plausible code.
Prepare task specifications that are agent-actionable (clear acceptance criteria, referenced modules, explicit constraints)
Design and maintain agent-ready systems: well-bounded repos, comprehensive test suites as guardrails, CI/CD pipelines with structured output agents can parse and act on.
Serve as an AI Champion: join and strengthen our growing AI Champion community, contribute to workshops, curate effective agentic workflows, and mentor engineers on AI-assisted practices. Contribute to org-level AI tooling evaluations and OLX AI practices repositories.
Drive active migration from a legacy monolith to microservices, owning decisions on bounded domain decomposition. Working on making agentic workflows effective across a codebase whose boundaries are actively being redefined.
Set the bar for GraphQL API design, RESTful contracts, database schema, and CI/CD quality across the tribe.
Work with product and engineering leadership to identify high-value problems, propose initiatives, and drive impactful technical direction without direct authority
Guide senior engineers in managing and reducing technical debt with AI as an accelerator, not a shortcut.

Meet Arago and the Aragonians Arago is an AI and computer hardware company whose mission is to drive the course of history forward. We do so by accelerating breakthroughs at the intersection of AI and semiconductors. Founded in 2024 by AI researchers and physicists with deep expertise in photonics, electronics, software, mathematics, and machine learning, Arago brings together a lean team of engineers and scientists from the world’s top companies and research labs. Composed of nine nationalities and operating from hubs in France, North America, and Israel, we believe in great science and fast achievements. Our work is guided by these core principles: Do great things: we deliver work we’re proud to sign our name to. High velocity: speed matters. We move quickly, one step at a time. One unit: we’re all in this together, with relationships grounded in trust, respect, and camaraderie. Arago is backed by executives from Apple, Arm, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Hugging Face, as well as prominent US and European deeptech venture firms and exited founders.
What you’ll do
As a Senior AI/ML Scientist, you will work at the intersection of modern AI models, numerical precision, and novel computing architectures. Your mission will be to develop the methods that allow AI models to run accurately, efficiently, and reliably on Arago’s computing system. This position combines strong quantization and “digital twin” aspects: understanding how frontier models tolerate reduced precision, defining the right numerical formats and quantization strategies, and building software representations of the processor to model the physical effects that impact AI model accuracy. This role is both scientific and practical. You will help shape the bridge between AI models and Arago’s hardware.
Required Skills and Experience
Background in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Strong interest and skills in applied mathematics and statistics. Strong experience with quantization of machine learning and AI models. Strong understanding of modern model architectures, including language models, diffusion models, video generation models, and/or world models. Experience studying the impact of numerical precision, noise, or approximation on model accuracy. Experience with inference performance optimization. Good knowledge of computer architecture, GPU architecture, or parallel computing. Ability to build rigorous experimentation pipelines and translate research insights into practical engineering decisions. GitHub profile with recent and relevant projects. Language: English at a proficient level. French is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop Arago’s quantization strategy for modern AI models, including precision studies, numerical format exploration, and model-level techniques to preserve accuracy under constrained precision. Study the impact of analog noise on the performance and inference accuracy of machine learning models, including language models, diffusion, video generation, and world models. Develop simulation tools to model analog behavior with minimal computational overhead. Build and maintain Arago's internal experimentation pipelines for precision and performance studies on both physical and emulated prototypes. Act as a technical point of contact between clients and Arago: analyze, port, and optimize client models onto Arago hardware, balancing throughput and accuracy. Collaborate with the software and digital architecture teams to support architectural enhancements based on the operator content of frontier model architectures.
Pay and benefits
Competitive cash compensation, with final package based on location, experience, and the pay of team members in similar positions. Meaningful stock option plan offered at the earliest stage of the company (included in the majority of full time offers). Relocation bonus and coverage of moving expenses for relocation within 20 minutes of the company’s location. Healthcare coverage (including family-friendly options), pension contributions, professional development support, and 25 days of PTO, in addition to public holidays. Ownership of a key technical domain, with significant vertical and/or horizontal growth opportunities, based on performance and individual drive. Reimbursement of 50% of the public transport subscription fee. A high-paced, multicultural (with 10 nationalities), and engineering-led environment.

Experience operating a formal risk management program
Experience running a third-party and vendor risk management program
Experience owning customer-facing security assurance, including security questionnaires and trust center content
Working knowledge of security controls for cloud environments (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Professional GRC certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or CIPP
Experience working with AI platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini
Experience with compliance automation tooling such as Vanta or Drata, and continuous controls monitoring
Direct experience applying AI or LLM-based workflows to GRC tasks
Proficiency in no-code automation or scripting languages
Past success in critical infrastructure industries including defense, cybersecurity, communications, or manufacturing

— a product, a company, or a line of business. You've lived the uncertainty, the false starts, and the iteration, and you don't need a playbook to get moving.
You have sharp product sense and judgment.
You know what's worth building and what isn't, what the right UX is, and what will delight users. You can point to shipped work that proves it - both features you added for a better experience and ones you cut for simplicity.
You think like a general manager, not a feature owner.
You understand how a business like Babylist makes money and which levers actually move it, and you make roadmap calls with the unit economics in mind.
You build engagement and growth loops.
You understand activation, retention, and the push/pull triggers that bring users back around moments that matter.
You're obsessed with customers.
You talk to users directly, synthesize fast, and let what you hear actually change what you build.
You can prioritize across a multi-sided product.
Parents want simplicity, kids have preferences, gift-givers need guidance. You weigh all three without defaulting to whoever's loudest.
You default to action in ambiguity
. Faced with an unclear problem, your instinct is to try something and learn quickly. People who've worked with you would say you just get things done.
You're comfortable getting hands-on when it's the fastest path to an answer
— light SQL, Figma, or AI-assisted prototyping to test an idea or unblock a decision — and you know when to hand off to a specialist instead.
You naturally reach for AI in your work
. At Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next. You also stand up working prototypes yourself, query the data and codebase directly, and contribute to code execution when that’s the most valuable use of your time.
You learn visibly and adapt.
The next 18 months won't look like the last. You reflect on what's working, change course when it isn't, and bring curiosity to ambiguity rather than anxiety. You're humble, low-ego, and work across team boundaries without waiting for permission.
How You Will Make An Impact
Make parents' lives easier by simplifying the answer to “what can I get your child for their birthday?”
Extend Babylist's relationship with parents from the 40 weeks of pregnancy into the 1,000 weeks of early childhood that follow.
Define and own the roadmap from today's MVP to a scalable, multi-sided gifting experience.
Discover the needs of your customers: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and gift-givers.
Engage users during their most important moments: birthdays, holidays, and seasonal occasions
Set the outcome metrics for the product and own the results — what moved, why, and what's next.
Partner closely with engineering and design to run experiments and iterate fast, serving as the connective tissue between product, design, and engineering as the team grows.
Why This Role
You get access to nearly a million new parents per year from day one. Most founders spend years trying to acquire the audience this product already has.
This is a net-new line of business with no prior PM, meaning the roadmap, the team shape, and the definition of success are yours to establish.
There's a clear path to real revenue, and you'll be building something that matters to Babylist's long-term business.
Who We Are
Babylist is the leading platform for expecting and new families. More than 10 million people shop with Babylist every year, making it the go-to destination for seamless purchasing, guidance, and expert recommendations. As a modern, AI-forward tech company, Babylist has expanded from a universal registry into a full ecosystem — the Babylist Shop, Babylist Health, Babylist Money, NYC and LA showrooms, branded content, and more — generating $750M in revenue in 2025. Building the generational brand in baby, Babylist is reshaping the $235B kids and baby market and helping parents feel confident, connected, and cared for at every step.
Our Ways of Working
Babylist is remote-first with team members across the U.S. and Canada who move fast, think smart, and use AI as part of how they work every day — not as an experiment, as an expectation. We come together twice a year to build the relationships behind the work, and we hire people who are genuinely excited about what's possible and prove it through how they show up.
