Global Services is the centre of expertise at Chainalysis — the team that translates our platform, data, and investigative capabilities into real-world impact for customers across law enforcement, national security, financial institutions, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
Chainalysis is seeking a Deployment Strategist to join Global Services as a core technical practitioner. This is not a traditional services or solutions engineering role. Deployment Strategists are embedded technical experts who own the full lifecycle of customer value — from problem discovery and investigation through solution design, deployment, and customer enablement.
The role sits at the intersection of blockchain investigation, data analytics, domain expertise, and customer partnership. You will work directly with customers to understand their mission, conduct investigations, build tailored solutions, and enable customer teams to operationalise Chainalysis independently. Success requires deep investigative capability, genuine domain expertise, technical skill, and the ability to build trusted relationships through credibility — not just communication.
This is the role that makes Chainalysis essential to how our customers operate.
In this role, you’ll:
- Own end-to-end customer engagements — from discovery through investigation, solution design, deployment, enablement, and ongoing value delivery
- Conduct blockchain investigations across the Chainalysis platform, applying tracing, OSINT, and analytical techniques to real customer problems
- Partner directly with customers to understand investigative, intelligence, compliance, or operational objectives and translate them into actionable outcomes
- Design, build, and maintain custom workflows, notebooks, dashboards, queries, and data models using Chainalysis data and products
- Enable customers to operate solutions independently — building their capability so that Chainalysis becomes embedded in their operational infrastructure
- Act as the primary technical and domain advisor for your customers, building trusted relationships through hands-on expertise and credibility
- Deliver live training, demos, investigative walkthroughs, and technical briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support pre-sales technical engagement for complex and strategic deals — helping customers understand what's possible and how to get there
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Global Intel, and Sales to influence roadmap and improve offerings based on field intelligence
- Develop and share domain expertise, investigative techniques, and best practices that raise the capability of the wider GS team
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Conducted or directly supported cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain intelligence work, or financial crime analysis in an operational environment
- Deep familiarity with blockchain ecosystems (BTC, ETH, stablecoins, DeFi) and how on-chain data is used in investigations, compliance, or intelligence workflows
- Delivered customer-facing technical solutions — whether investigative outputs, data products, or analytical workflows — in complex, real-world environments
- Worked directly with customers in law enforcement, national security, intelligence, compliance, financial crime, or security-focused domains
- Built insights from large or complex datasets and communicated findings to varied audiences — from analysts to executives
- Operated successfully in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring ownership, adaptability, and sound judgment
- Excellent English and Hindi
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, transformation, and solution development
- Experience building notebooks, dashboards, and analytical workflows
- Solid understanding of data modelling, querying, and working with large datasets
- Ability to quickly develop deep expertise in Chainalysis data structures, schemas, and products
Domain Expertise
- Substantive knowledge of at least one domain: financial and cyber crime investigations, sanctions and compliance, fraud, national security, DeFi/protocol security, tax, or private sector risk
- Understanding of how customers in your domain operate — their workflows, regulatory environment, and what success looks like for them
- Ability to apply domain knowledge to shape investigation approach, solution design, and customer advisory
Nice to have experience:
- Direct experience with Chainalysis products
- Background in law enforcement, intelligence, or military investigations
- Experience providing expert evidence or supporting legal proceedings
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (BSA/AML, sanctions screening, MiCA, Travel Rule)
- Experience with data engineering tools and platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, cloud-based analytics)
- Published research, intelligence products, or thought leadership in blockchain analytics or financial crime
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

This will require applying excellent engineering, team building and organizational judgment to complex, high-stakes operations: identity and fraud management, machine learning on large but imperfect datasets (cell phone data, satellite imagery, government registries), mobile money integrations, low-connectivity environments, rapidly evolving requirements all in diverse regulatory environments and country contexts. You’ll need to keep our legacy technology stack stable and performant, while in parallel building new systems from the ground up for our next level of scale.
You will lead engineering, data, security and enterprise technology – with a small, mighty and rapidly growing engineering team of ~15, and the expectation that this can at least double to ~30 in the next 12 months if you want it to. You’ll report to a CEO with deep experience running technology companies, and partner with our VP Product.
This role is remote, with working hours between US Eastern Time and East African Time, and some preference for candidates in our office hubs of New York, London, or Nairobi.
What we’re looking for:
An exceptional hirer, manager and organizer of technical talent.
Proven record identifying, hiring, developing and retaining excellent engineers and engineering leaders, and creating team processes that consistently deliver software with quality and velocity.
Deep technical judgment, applied close to the work.
You can evaluate major designs, pressure-test architecture and build-vs-buy decisions, and recognize when a team is heading the wrong way, without becoming the primary implementer. Low-ego: you’ll investigate a problem yourself when that’s what the situation requires.
Business judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
You’re not just a technical leader, you’re also a business executive. You understand the business, are a strong cross-functional partner, and have a history of good judgment when navigating tradeoffs of long vs. short term, speed, reliability, security, flexibility, cost, technical quality, and user impact.
AI first.
You have a point of view on where AI meaningfully changes engineering productivity and organizational capability, and you’ve moved a team from experimentation to real, measured use. You can set the tools, culture, goals, and guardrails that leverage the opportunities and mitigate the risks of an AI first engineering culture.
Embody and set an example for GD values.
We take
our values
incredibly seriously, and expect our leaders to embody, nurture, and promote them in the way they work and the teams they build.
Advantages, not requirements.
Experience in an operationally complex or regulated domain (fintech, payments, humanitarian response, global development); systems involving financial controls, fraud risk, identity, or sensitive recipient data; operating across multiple countries, particularly lower-income or infrastructure-constrained ones; leading both modern product engineering and enterprise technology.
What you’ll do
Define our technology vision and target stack.
Own the technical strategy for technology-first delivery at $5B+/year: architecture, platforms, build-vs-buy, and what we retire. Work with executive, product, finance, risk, and data leaders to turn program and product strategy into a sequenced, credible portfolio of technical investments.
Balance a demanding portfolio.
You'll manage six workstreams that all matter and won't all move at once: (1) building our new cash delivery stack (remote-first verification, fraud prevention, massive volume) (2) stabilizing our legacy stack until switchover, then managing the migration; (3) donor-facing fundraising products; (4) our global emergency cash system (and eventual white-labelling of that product); (5) enterprise technology; (6) internal tooling, platform, and cybersecurity. Deciding sequencing and staffing across these (and saying "not yet" credibly) is the job.
Build and grow an exceptional technology organization.
Recruit outstanding engineering and technology talent, design the org GiveDirectly needs at its next stage of scale (engineering, product, data, security, infrastructure, enterprise systems), and create the accountability, decision rights, and career paths to sustain high talent density. Grow the engineering team from 15 to ~30 with a lean but durable management structure.
Own the technical direction and quality bar.
Guide consequential decisions on integrations, data, security, reliability, and technical debt. Ensure our systems can safely support a major increase in transaction volume, geographic reach, and organizational dependence on technology. Set a pragmatic quality bar appropriate to high-stakes financial delivery while preserving speed.
Lead across organizational boundaries.
Serve as a member of GiveDirectly’s executive team, reporting to the CEO and bringing technology into major strategic and operating decisions. Help non-technical leaders understand technical constraints and costs, build credibility with country and functional leaders by understanding their realities, and force clarity when priorities, ownership, or tradeoffs are ambiguous.
Travel.
Approximately 4–6 trips per year, including visits to GiveDirectly countries of operation.

Drive best practice across recruitment, learning and development, performance management, and HR operations.
What you'll bring
Exceptional alignment with GiveDirectly Values and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity.
Significant experience (6+ years) in operations management, with strong expertise in procurement and logistics.
A track record of strengthening operational functions – taking systems from ad hoc toward structured, compliant, and scalable.
Strong financial and budget management skills, with experience managing operational budgets and driving cost-effectiveness.
Experience managing and developing teams, including recruiting and mentoring staff.
Experience overseeing or working closely with HR functions (recruitment, performance management, learning and development, culture building).
Comfort in a fast-paced and changing environment that involves a degree of ambiguity and requires figuring things out with limited precedent.
Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail and a bias toward data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with INGO standards, donor compliance frameworks, internal controls, and audit processes.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills and experience working effectively in matrixed organisations.
Experience and aptitude leveraging new technologies and AI to advance operational effectiveness. Comfort with an agile and iterative approach.

About the Company
Born from groundbreaking research at Columbia University and Yale University, CertiK is a leading Web3 security company focused on securing blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized applications through cutting-edge security research, formal verification, and AI-powered technology. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in New York City, CertiK provides end-to-end security solutions including smart contract audits, penetration testing, on-chain monitoring, incident response, and compliance services for some of the largest projects in the digital asset ecosystem. Today, CertiK supports thousands of enterprise clients and Web3 projects globally, with a distributed international team spanning North America, Asia, and Europe. The company is backed by leading investors including Coatue, Goldman Sachs, Insight Partners, and Sequoia Capital, and has been recognized by organizations such as the World Economic Forum and CB Insights for its contributions to blockchain security innovation.
CertiK has spent years building security, risk, monitoring, and blockchain expertise across thousands of digital asset companies and institutional customers. As digital assets increasingly become part of mainstream financial infrastructure, security, financial crime risk, and regulatory compliance are converging. We believe there is an opportunity to build a new generation of institutional digital asset risk and compliance products at that intersection. This role will have significant influence over what that product becomes. We are looking for someone who wants to build it.
About the Role
CertiK is building the next generation of risk and compliance products for financial institutions and digital asset businesses. We are looking for a product leader to own this product area from customer discovery and product strategy through delivery, go to market, adoption, and expansion. This is not an internal compliance role. You are here to build the products that compliance, AML, financial crime, and risk teams use. You will work directly with financial institutions, exchanges, VASPs, fintechs, and other digital asset businesses to understand how their compliance teams operate, identify the problems that matter most, and turn those problems into scalable products. The product space may include areas such as blockchain and entity risk, transaction and wallet monitoring, sanctions and KYT, risk scoring, investigation and case management workflows, continuous monitoring, and compliance evidence and reporting. A core part of your job will be deciding which problems CertiK should solve first and which ones we should not. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, Business Development, and company leadership to build this product line.
Responsibilities
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for CertiK's AML and digital asset compliance products.
Spend significant time with customers and prospective customers, including CCOs, MLROs, AML teams, investigators, and risk leaders, to deeply understand their workflows and unmet needs.
Identify repeatable market problems behind individual customer requests and determine which problems should become scalable products.
Translate customer and market insights into product concepts, prototypes, requirements, and clear engineering priorities.
Drive products from discovery through design, development, launch, adoption, and iteration.
Define the key workflows, risk models, decision systems, and user experiences required by institutional compliance teams.
Work closely with Engineering and Data teams to make appropriate product and technical trade offs.
Partner with Business Development and customer facing teams during strategic sales cycles, including discovery, product demonstrations, pilots, and design partnerships.
Work with Compliance and regulatory experts to translate evolving AML, sanctions, and digital asset requirements into scalable product capabilities.
Measure success through customer adoption, product usage, enterprise wins, expansion, and other measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
Significant product management experience building B2B software in fintech, regtech, financial services, risk, compliance, or digital assets.
A track record of owning meaningful products or product areas from discovery through launch and adoption.
Deep understanding of AML, financial crime, transaction monitoring, sanctions, KYC/KYB, investigations, or related compliance workflows.
Experience building or working closely with products such as transaction monitoring, blockchain analytics, wallet screening, risk engines, case management, investigation platforms, or compliance workflow systems.
Strong customer discovery skills. You can speak credibly with senior compliance leaders and frontline analysts, understand both what they say and what they actually need, and translate those insights into product decisions.
Strong product judgment. You know the difference between a one off customer request and a repeatable market need, and you are comfortable making hard prioritization decisions.
Commercial instincts. You understand that a successful enterprise product must not only work, customers must adopt it, pay for it, and expand their usage.
Ability to operate in an ambiguous, early stage product environment and personally drive work forward rather than simply coordinate across teams.
Bonus Points
Experience building AML or compliance products at a blockchain analytics, fintech, regtech, exchange, bank, or financial infrastructure company.
Experience with blockchain analytics, KYT, wallet screening, on chain investigations, or digital asset risk.
Previous experience as an AML practitioner, compliance officer, MLRO, investigator, or financial crime professional.
Experience working with regulated financial institutions and understanding how compliance products are evaluated, procured, implemented, and operated.
Experience with regulatory examinations, VASP licensing, or financial crime remediation.
CAMS or another relevant professional qualification.
Relationships with compliance and risk leaders across banks, fintechs, exchanges, VASPs, regulators, or law enforcement.
The expected annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $150,000 to $220,000. Compensation for candidates outside the United States will be determined based on location, experience, and qualifications.

CertiK accepts applications for this position on an ongoing basis.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
CertiK is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We will not discriminate against any applicant or employee on the basis of age, race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, medical condition, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, marital status or civil partnership/union status, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, childbirth, genetic information, military and veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by applicable federal, state or local law.

The R&D team at Chainalysis is inspired by solving the hardest technical challenges and building products that establish trust in cryptocurrencies. We're a global organization that thrives on challenging work and doing it alongside exceptionally talented teammates. Our industry evolves rapidly, and our mission is to build a flexible, AI-driven platform that automates entity resolution, optimizes data labeling pipelines, and creates predictive models that identify illicit patterns before they escalate.
Our data and solutions have been used to solve some of the world's most high-profile criminal cases and grow consumer access to cryptocurrency safely. Now, by pairing the industry's most trusted blockchain data with agents that reason, investigate, and act, we help our customers scale their workflows as the cryptocurrency economy becomes increasingly mainstream.
Chainalysis data has helped solve some of the world’s highest-profile criminal and national-security cases and made it safer for people everywhere to access crypto. The Global Intelligence Team produces the attribution at the heart of that data — connecting on-chain activity to the real-world entities behind it, across the global crypto ecosystem. It’s the intelligence data moat beneath every Chainalysis product, and what investigators, sanctions authorities, and national-security agencies rely on to follow the money and disrupt threats.
Few threats test that mission harder than North Korea and China. Through Lazarus Group, the DPRK has stolen billions in crypto — via exchange and DeFi hacks and IT-worker schemes — to fund its weapons program, then laundered it through mixers, cross-chain bridges, and Chinese OTC networks. China, in turn, sits at the center of global crypto money laundering — from guarantee marketplaces and underground banking to scam compounds, fentanyl vendors, and cartel-linked laundering. The two are deeply intertwined, and making that activity visible on-chain is one of the most consequential problems in crypto intelligence today.
As our DPRK- and China-focused intelligence analyst — the team’s subject-matter expert on North Korea and China — you’ll own that problem end to end. This is a depth role: while our analysts cover the breadth of the crypto-services ecosystem, you’ll go deep on a single, high-stakes domain — becoming the person, inside Chainalysis and increasingly across the industry, who understands how DPRK and Chinese actors use crypto and can prove it on-chain. You’ll own the attribution for their crypto footprint, map how these networks actually operate, turn that into finished intelligence customers act on, and be the expert voice representing Chainalysis on DPRK and China crypto threats.
Who you’ll work with
You’ll join a fast-moving, globally distributed team — analysts, threat-domain SMEs, data scientists, and engineers — collaborating across time zones, async and in real time. We move fast, hold each other to a high bar, and back each other up across regions. As the DPRK & China SME, you’ll be the single point of depth for the domain and a force multiplier for everyone working adjacent to it.
In this role, you’ll:
- Own DPRK & China attribution end to end — the threat-actor entities, their definitions, and the accounts, addresses, and infrastructure they operate: Lazarus Group and DPRK state-sponsored theft and laundering, DPRK IT-worker networks, Chinese-language OTC and underground-banking networks, guarantee marketplaces (e.g., Huione-style platforms), scam-compound and pig-butchering laundering infrastructure, fentanyl and precursor vendors, and Chinese money-laundering organizations.
- Lead the attribution response to DPRK- and China-related sanctions events — when OFAC or allied authorities designate DPRK actors, exchange-hacking units, or Chinese laundering networks, drive the rapid, high-visibility on-chain attribution that turns those designations into coverage in our data, often against the clock.
- Map the networks on-chain — trace how stolen and illicit funds move through mixers, cross-chain bridges, no-KYC swaps, OTC brokers, and off-ramps, following DPRK hack proceeds into and through Chinese laundering infrastructure, and keep that picture current as they adapt to pressure.
- Produce finished intelligence — advisory notes, customer and partner briefings, and contributions to flagship publications (the Crypto Crime Report and beyond) that make DPRK theft/laundering and Chinese money laundering legible and actionable.
- Be the named external expert — represent Chainalysis on DPRK and China crypto threats at conferences, on panels, with the press, and in briefings to public- and private-sector partners.
- Help set the DPRK & China collection agenda — surface what data we need on these networks and feed those requirements into our collection process and priority intelligence requirements; you direct collection for the domain, but it runs through the team’s apparatus and prioritization, not you alone.
- Translate typologies into detection — turn what you learn about DPRK and Chinese methods into guidance that our products and our customers can operationalize.
- Build with AI — design and tune the automation that scales your analysis and the team’s, and handle the hard cases automation can’t.
- Level up the team — raise the bar on DPRK, China, and money-laundering tradecraft broadly, and partner closely with analysts, other SMEs, data science, and engineering.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Deep, demonstrable DPRK and/or China expertise — real command of DPRK state-sponsored crypto operations (Lazarus Group, exchange and bridge hacks, IT-worker schemes) and/or Chinese-language money laundering, OTC and underground banking, guarantee marketplaces, and organized-crime finance. This is the core of the role, and we’ll expect you to show it.
- On-chain tracing ability against DPRK/China targets — direct experience following DPRK hack laundering or Chinese OTC/laundering networks on-chain, or deep DPRK/China threat-finance expertise paired with proven blockchain-tracing skill you can bring to bear here from day one.
- A national-security or threat-finance background — intelligence, sanctions, counter-threat-finance, or investigations, from the IC, Treasury/OFAC, law enforcement, the military, a think tank or research institution, or private-sector CTF/sanctions work.
- Regional fluency — a strong grasp of the DPRK and Chinese illicit-finance ecosystems and regional money-laundering flows. Mandarin and/or Korean language ability is a significant plus.
- Elite potential and a proven track record — exceptional aptitude, judgment, and work ethic; you’ve led hard problems end to end and you raise everyone around you.
- Excellent writing and communication — this is an outward-facing expert role; your intelligence has to land with analysts, customers, and senior audiences alike.
- AI-forward instincts — you build automation to scale your work and others’, not just use it.
- Comfort working with data; blockchain forensics experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant analytic, intelligence, or threat-finance experience for a Senior hire; 8+ years and recognized domain authority for a Staff hire.
You might also have:
- Mandarin and/or Korean language ability.
- Direct experience with OFAC sanctions, designations, or the designation process — especially involving DPRK or Chinese entities.
- A record of published research or public speaking on DPRK crypto theft, Lazarus Group, or Chinese money laundering.
- Familiarity with cross-chain bridge and mixer laundering, guarantee marketplaces (e.g., Huione-style platforms), or Chinese OTC and underground-banking networks.
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality.

About You
As Head of Investor Capital and Relations, Middle East, you will operate independently in region with a global reporting line and executive sponsorship, and with the mandate to build the firm's Middle East franchise from first principles: the coverage map, the institutional relationships, the office and, ultimately, the regional team.
This is a builder's role. You will own senior coverage of the region's sovereign wealth funds, government related entities and family offices, lead the office establishment and hub determination between DIFC and ADGM, and coordinate closely with counsel and the firm's government relations workstreams as you build a durable Gulf franchise.
About the Opportunity
Xsolla is seeking a Head of Investor Capital and Relations to be the firm's senior presence in the Gulf and own its most strategically important capital relationships: the region's sovereign wealth funds, government related entities and principal family offices. The GCC is executing one of the most ambitious government backed investment programs in the history of the games industry, and this seat exists to convert that alignment into anchor limited partner relationships, co-investment partnerships and strategic financings for the firm's investment vehicles and transaction pipeline.
The corporate title for this seat is Executive Director, with a defined path to Managing Director tied to franchise milestones. The seat will have one direct report initially, a Regional Relationship Manager, to be hired following office establishment.
The Head of Investor Capital and Relations, Middle East will be based in Dubai (DIFC) or Abu Dhabi (ADGM), with the hub determination in progress and open to the successful candidate's input, and will report to the Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. The role requires travel of 50 percent or more across the GCC and wider MENA, with periodic travel to Los Angeles and New York. This is a full time position; the regional package will be structured with local counsel.
Expressions of Interest
Xsolla welcomes confidential conversations with qualified candidates and trusted introductions. Please direct expressions of interest, together with a resume and a short note on relevant experience, to the Xsolla Talent Acquisition team via the application button linked below.
About Us
Xsolla is a global commerce and financial technology company for the video game industry. Headquartered in Los Angeles with offices and operations worldwide, Xsolla provides the tools, infrastructure and capital solutions that help developers and publishers fund, launch, distribute and monetize their games across every market and platform. The company serves thousands of game businesses globally, from independent studios to the largest publishers, and is expanding a dedicated capital markets and investment platform serving the interactive entertainment ecosystem.
The Capital Markets Group
The Capital Markets Group (CMG) sits within Xsolla's Global Strategic Initiatives function and operates as the firm's institutional capital platform. The group originates, structures and executes financing and investment solutions across games and interactive entertainment, and is building a franchise modeled on the leading independent capital markets and special situations advisory platforms.
The group operates multiple investment vehicles spanning debt financing and credit markets, alongside special situations and principal investment strategies serving the interactive entertainment ecosystem. These activities are supported by a proprietary market intelligence system, a global events and convening program, and a governed institutional relationship platform covering LPs, sovereign investors, family offices, banks and intermediaries across the Americas, MENA, APAC and Europe.
CMG operates from hubs in Los Angeles, New York, the Middle East and Singapore. The group is in its foundation stage: hires at every level join a live deal environment with executive sponsorship, meaningful ownership and the mandate to build a durable franchise rather than inherit one.

Build family office coverage. Build and maintain coverage of the GCC's principal single and multi family offices, regional institutional investors and banks, with complete, current records in the firm's relationship platform.
Map the counterparties. Map the decision making architecture of each priority institution, including investment committee cadence, mandate criteria, co-investment appetite and approval chains, and maintain that intelligence as a living asset.
Capital Formation and Transactions
Lead regional fundraising. Lead regional pre-marketing and fundraising processes for the firm's investment vehicles within applicable private placement and promotion regimes, coordinating with counsel on the marketing approach for each jurisdiction.
Originate co-investment dialogues. Originate and manage sovereign co-investment dialogues alongside fund principals, and support strategic and government aligned financing conversations through to execution.
Own diligence processes. Manage institutional diligence processes end to end, including DDQ coordination, data room support, operational due diligence visits and reference management.

Coordinate with government relations. Coordinate deliberately with the firm's government relations and sovereign engagement workstreams so that capital coverage and institutional diplomacy reinforce one another.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidate Profile
Experience
10 or more years covering MENA institutional capital from an investment bank, sovereign investor, placement agent, asset manager or family office platform, including at least 5 years in a senior client facing capacity.

Our Ethos
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team with a primary focus on KYC and KYB onboarding operations. This is a do-er role - you will be in the queue every day reviewing applications, making risk decisions, and working directly with partners and customers to move onboarding forward without sacrificing compliance quality. You will be expected to own your work end to end, exercise sound judgment on complex cases, and contribute to building and improving the processes that support our onboarding program.
This role sits at the intersection of compliance and operations. You are not here to advise - you are here to execute, and to do it well.
What You Will Do
- Review and disposition transaction monitoring alerts and KYC/KYB onboarding applications end to end - including customer profile review, document verification, beneficial ownership analysis, sanctions and PEP screening, adverse media assessment, and transactional activity analysis
- Conduct enhanced due diligence on High Risk applicants - including source of funds and source of wealth assessment, business model review, and full beneficial ownership chain documentation
- Make well-reasoned SAR recommendations - clearly articulating why activity is or is not suspicious and documenting your analysis in a manner that is complete and defensible to a regulator
- Draft SAR narratives that meet FinCEN quality standards
- Send RFIs to customers or partners where additional information is needed to resolve an alert or application and follow through to receipt and documentation of the response
- Support periodic KYC refresh reviews on existing customers as part of the Company's ongoing due diligence program
- Contribute to onboarding and investigation policy development - if you see a gap, flag it and propose a solution
- Stay current on FinCEN advisories, FATF typologies, and emerging financial crime trends relevant to Rain's product set - including stablecoin, virtual asset, and agentic payment typologies
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a compliance, KYC, AML Investigations or onboarding role at a FinTech, payments company, or crypto company
- Demonstrated experience reviewing KYB applications for business entities including beneficial ownership analysis, entity structure review, and corporate document verification
- Experience with OFAC, PEP, and adverse media screening tools - comfortable making independent screening determinations and documenting your reasoning
- Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end AML investigations and preparing SAR-quality case documentation
- Working knowledge of BSA/AML program requirements and FinCEN SAR filing rules
- Experience with transaction monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools and on-chain transaction analysis
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you manage multiple applications simultaneously without losing attention to detail
- A do-er mentality - you are self-directed, take ownership of your queue, and do not wait to be told what to do next
- CAMS certification or progress toward certification is a plus
What Success Looks Like
- Applications are reviewed thoroughly, dispositioned accurately, and documented completely - every time
- Your SLA compliance rate is consistently above 95%
- Escalations are well-supported - when you escalate, the reviewer has everything they need to make a decision without coming back to you for more information
- You are identifying process gaps and bringing solutions, not just flagging problems
