BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Payward Services (PWS) is the Infrastructure arm of Payward, the parent company of Kraken, whose businesses span trading, payments, custody, banking, asset management, and services. PWS gives regulated businesses direct API access to the infrastructure that has powered Kraken for 15+ years.
Payward holds 100+ regulatory licences, operates in 190+ jurisdictions, and processes $2T+ in annual volume. Payward has also applied for a national trust company charter to offer custody and trust services to institutional and high-net-worth clients across the U.S. The company is backed by strategic investors including Citadel Securities, Jane Street, Deutsche Börse, and Nasdaq.
Operated through Paywards’s regulated entities, custody combines segregated client accounts, institutional-grade key management and cold storage, independent audit and control reporting, and direct connectivity into Kraken's exchange, staking, and financing rails. Clients get the security posture of a dedicated custodian alongside the liquidity and product depth of one of the longest-running exchanges in crypto.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Senior Sales Lead, Custody & Wealth Management, you will lead the go-to-market efforts for Payward custody offering, including qualified custody, across two motions:
Institutional custody sales: Sell to banks, neobanks, fintechs, payment companies, brokerages, exchanges, asset managers, and any business that needs regulated digital asset custody, globally.
B2B2C wealth solutions: Work with Product to design and launch embedded custody and digital asset solutions. Private banks, wealth managers, family offices, and platforms serving high-net-worth clients can offer these to their own clients under their own brand, alongside PWS staking, trading, payments, and tokenized assets.
You will report to the Global Head of Sales, Payward Services, as a senior individual contributor. You will work closely with Solution Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Onboarding, and act as the voice of the custody and wealth market in roadmap discussions.
Lead and help define the global GTM strategy for Custody across institutional segments, asset managers, ETF and fund issuers, hedge funds, market makers and prop firms, banks and wealth platforms, corporates and treasuries, family offices, token issuers and foundations, and exchanges requiring third-party custody.
This role will be expected to:
- Grow assets under custody and custody revenue as the primary outcomes, with clear ownership of targets, forecasting, and pipeline discipline
- Develop commercial frameworks across custody, trading, and yield products including vaults and staking.
- Lead revenue across a range of relationships from long cycle RFP driven enterprise mandates to mid-market motion for funds, corporates, and crypto-native clients who need to onboard fast.
- Own the full client lifecycle from qualification and diligence through agreement negotiation, onboarding, and expansion into staking, trading, collateral, and settlement.
- Build and scale a revenue growth in the custody and wealth management vertical across a global Sales and BD organization, with an AI-first approach to tooling, pipeline management, and operational efficiency.
- Establish Payward as the default custodian across the institutional ecosystem, fund administrators, wealth managers, family offices, consultants, prime brokers, OTC desks, and the service providers who shape custodian space.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to align commercial strategy with platform capability and the regulatory perimeter of each entity
- Expand Payward’'s custody footprint across the UK, Europe, US and APAC and other priority markets, with a clear view on licensing constraints and how to sequence market entry
- Feed the product roadmap with structured client demand: asset and chain coverage, staking, reporting and integrations, collateral mobility, and off-exchange settlement
WHAT YOU BRING
- 7+ years of experience building and scaling B2B or B2B2C revenue organizations within digital asset custody, Wealth management, traditional custody and asset servicing, or regulated financial infrastructure
- Proven track record closing and expanding complex, long-cycle mandates with institutional clients where security, regulatory, and operational diligence sit at the center of the buying decision
- Deep understanding of the wealth management space, how institutions actually select a custodian, risk and investment committees, operational due diligence, asset segregation and bankruptcy remoteness, insurance, audit and control reporting, and multi-custodian mandates
- Deep experience structuring custody economics: AUC-based pricing, minimums, revenue-share models, and multi-product commercial agreements
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and executive presence at the C-suite and board level
- Experience building and leading high-performing global Sales and BD teams
- Demonstrated ability to implement AI-first sales tooling, CRM discipline, and scalable go-to-market systems
- International experience strongly preferred; US and European market knowledge
- Genuine conviction in crypto and the future of financial market infrastructure or deep, transferable expertise from traditional custody, fund services, or prime brokerage with a clear path to crypto fluency
NICE TO HAVES
- Direct experience selling qualified custody, staking, or prime brokerage services to institutional clients
- Relationships across the institutional service provider ecosystem: fund administrators, auditors, consultants, transfer agents, and ETF issuers
- Working knowledge of institutional key management (MPC, HSM, multi-sig), cold storage architecture, off-exchange settlement, and collateral mobility
- Familiarity with KYC/AML frameworks and digital asset licensing regimes across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience scaling a B2B sales motion from founder-led or relationship-led origination to a structured, team-driven engine
- Experience selling into token issuers, foundations, and protocol treasuries alongside traditional financial institutions
- Exposure to staking economics, validator operations, and the reporting institutions expect around both

Workplace: hybrid
Capital.com builds and operates web and mobile trading platforms, public and partner APIs, and the backend services behind them, all in a highly regulated environment. As Application Security Architect, you will be the senior design authority for the security of these products. You will set the direction for how we secure software at scale: you will own secure-by-design patterns and standards, lead threat modelling and architecture reviews, and define the application security baseline that engineering teams build against.
Working closely with the Product Security team and the Director of Product Security, you will guide AppSec processes and set the vision for your area without direct line management. You will treat security as a shared outcome rather than a gate, balancing strong protection with developer experience and delivery speed, and you will earn adoption through enablement rather than mandates.
Responsibilities:
Security Architecture & Standards:
Define and maintain secure-by-default reference architectures for common patterns: web apps, mobile backends, microservices, public and partner APIs, and event-driven services
Own core application security architecture decisions: authentication and authorisation, session management, API security, secrets management, multi-tenant isolation, and security logging and auditing
Lead the redesign of user authentication and the delivery of security features into the product
Develop and roll out application security standards, secure-coding guidelines, configuration standards, reusable design patterns, and architecture decision records (ADRs) that engineers can apply without a security expert in the room
Define internal policies for the safe use of AI-assisted and vibe-coding tools
Define security requirements for acquired technology and guide its secure integration
Threat Modelling & Design Review:
Establish and run a threat-modelling operating model, covering scope, cadence, templates, and facilitation, proportionate to each product's risk tier
Own the security review stage of the new product approval process, covering architecture design and configuration
Lead design reviews for high-impact initiatives: new products, new auth flows, payment and sensitive-data flows, platform migrations, and major refactors
Identify design-level risks and agree practical, prioritised mitigations with engineering teams
Secure SDLC, DevSecOps & Supply Chain:
Assess the current state of application security, propose improvements, and drive the secure SDLC strategy with Engineering and Security leadership
Oversee AppSec processes and own the tooling strategy (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, and secrets scanning), including how findings flow back to engineering
Embed security controls as guardrails in CI/CD through policy-as-code, with agreed enforcement and escalation paths
Partner with DevOps to organise repository management and prevent supply-chain attacks, covering safe component usage, dependency management, SBOMs, and build integrity
Improve the security of our internal tools
Requirements:
Experience:
8+ years in technology, including 5+ years in a dedicated application or product security role, with a strong engineering background and hands-on architecture or design ownership
Proven track record creating, documenting, and rolling out security standards, patterns, and best practices across a complex engineering organisation
Deep, demonstrable threat-modelling experience across product portfolios
Technical:
Experience designing and implementing a secure SDLC in a cloud-native environment. Strong AWS knowledge is required, and exposure to GCP or other clouds is welcome
Strong command of OWASP standards (Top 10, ASVS) and DevSecOps practice, including AppSec tooling (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, secrets scanning) and vulnerability management
Deep understanding of modern distributed architectures: microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, event-driven systems, OAuth2/OIDC, and containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes). You should be able to reason about their trust boundaries, attack surface, and data flows across web and mobile clients
Collaboration:
Exceptional ability to influence and align engineering teams without direct authority, and to brief both engineers and executives
Pragmatism and strategic thinking: you balance the ideal with the achievable, protect delivery throughput, and turn long-term direction into an actionable plan
Clear written communication through diagrams, ADRs, and patterns, plus a track record of mentoring and cross-functional collaboration
Nice to have:
Experience in fintech, trading, brokerage, or another regulated environment
Awareness of relevant regulatory and compliance drivers: FCA and CySEC operational resilience, GDPR, and PCI DSS
Software supply-chain security, including SBOMs and artifact and build integrity
Experience securing AI-integrated product features, or using AI to scale an AppSec programme
Experience building or running a Security Champions programme
CSSLP, GIAC GDSA, or a hands-on offensive security certification. Certifications are valued but secondary to demonstrated experience
What you'll get in return:
You will join the company, that cares about work and life balance
Annual Bonus based on the performance review cycle
Generous Annual Leave Policy
Medical Insurance and Pension fund, with additional benefit packages based on the location
Hybrid working model (3 days from our modern office and 2 days fully remotely)
Comprehensive Workation Policy with 30 more remote days available.
Possibility of taking two additional days of paid leave per year to dedicate to volunteering efforts.

About the Opportunity
The Trading Systems team builds the mission-critical order, execution, position, and risk infrastructure that powers OKX’s global trading platform. We operate at the intersection of high performance, correctness, resilience, and scale—where every design decision matters.
We are seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our trading counter and core trading systems. This role is for an engineer who combines deep systems expertise with strong ownership: someone who investigates root causes, raises the quality bar across the engineering lifecycle, and turns individual learning into reusable team capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, high-performance C++ trading systems.
Design reliable distributed systems, including consistency, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies across system boundaries.
Own work end to end—from technical proposals and design reviews through framework refactoring, implementation, deployment, production debugging, replay, and validation.
Solve low-level systems challenges involving networking, protocols, concurrency, memory management, performance, and operating-system-level behaviour.
Drive architectural improvements by identifying systemic issues and anti-patterns, such as overly coupled or “God Class” designs, and redesigning components with clear responsibilities.
Build proactive quality safeguards, including automated testing, failure-injection scenarios, stability validation, monitoring, and replay-based verification.
Design controlled experiments to validate architectural assumptions and diagnose complex production issues beyond surface-level symptoms.
Work effectively across heterogeneous technology stacks, making sound engineering decisions at language, service, and platform boundaries.
Independently explore and apply AI-assisted engineering practices across code understanding, solution design, cross-review, incident analysis, test validation, and knowledge capture.
Raise engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements to development practices.
Mentor engineers and share practical knowledge through documentation, playbooks, technical sessions, and reusable frameworks.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with substantial experience building production C++ systems.
Strong experience designing and evolving complex systems, with a clear understanding of architectural trade-offs.
Proven knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, network programming, and performance optimisation in Linux-based environments.
Hands-on experience with distributed consistency, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, or other system-level reliability designs.
Strong understanding of computer systems fundamentals, including networking protocols, operating systems, memory, storage, and runtime behaviour.
A track record of taking ownership proactively, from defining the problem to delivering and validating a robust solution.

About the Team
We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.
About the role
We're looking for a Linux Administrator to join our Infrastructure team, responsible for building, operating and continuously improving all of our infrastructure services — from core services to observability and private clouds.
Our infrastructure supports the stable operation of a large-scale trading platform and includes 2,000+ virtual machines and 300+ physical servers, running predominantly on Ubuntu. The stack ranges from core services like LDAP, PowerDNS and NTP, to an observability stack (Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, Grafana, Jaeger) and private clouds based on OpenStack and Kubernetes, as well as services such as GitLab, Artifactory and Vault.
You’ll work in a team of experienced infrastructure engineers, using Scrum and Agile practices, with two-week sprints and a strong focus on automation, reliability and continuous improvement.
The position is full-time remote, with a flexible start time — anytime before 12:00 pm EET/EEST.
Why this role?
You’ll be part of the team responsible for the production environment behind products used by millions of users, working directly with development teams, helping them troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and keep their services running reliably in production.
It’s a good fit for an engineer who enjoys troubleshooting, automation and making infrastructure more reliable and scalable, rather than simply maintaining servers.
Tasks
Oversee various services and associated infrastructure components, including DNS, Gitlab, Artifactory, Vault, Loki, Prometheus etc;
Perform day-to-day operational tasks such as upgrades, CVE patching, backup and restore, security scans, and monitoring;
Manage and support private clouds (Openstack and Kubernetes);
Design, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Linux systems across different environments, including bare metal, virtual machines and containers.
Resolve incidents, provide support coverage, categorize issues, conduct post-mortems, and perform root cause analysis;
Ensure environments are stable and adhere to availability SLAs;
Work towards reducing operational effort;
Automate repetitive operational tasks and continuously reduce manual effort;
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues in production;
Keep infrastructure documentation and operational procedures up to date;
Engage in constant upskilling to stay updated with industry best practices.
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience as a Linux System Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer, with a focus on infrastructure.
Extensive experience in designing, building, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux servers across various environments (bare metal, container, cloud);
Experience with Linux server configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting in production.
Understanding of process control, logging and Linux service management.
Experience with infrastructure services such as Vault, Artifactory, DNS and similar platform components.
Proficiency with automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Salt;
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and containerized environments;
Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools like Grafana, ELK, or Graylog;
Experience in deploying and maintaining systems on cloud solutions such as OpenStack, VMware, Proxmox, or public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure.
Skilled in scripting languages such as Bash and Python;
Familiarity with configuring various servers and databases, including Apache Tomcat, Nginx, MySQL DB, PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc;
Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD workflows.
At least C1 in Russian and B1 in English.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including troubleshooting workloads and cluster-related issues.
Hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, maintenance or troubleshooting of private cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Chef.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Experience working with fintech/trading, or other high-load and mission-critical systems.
We offer
Full-time remote work (service provider contract).
Competitive compensation (EUR).
Flexible working hours.
Corporate AI subscriptions (Claude, Gemini, GPT, etc.).
Access to a rewards marketplace offering products and language courses, redeemable using the company’s internal currency.
A strong team of engineers.
Positive and friendly atmosphere.
With a team of 500+ creative and tech-driven people across the globe, Quadcode is the place where ideas turn into impact, where every project is a chance to grow, innovate, and make your mark.
Join us today, and let's shape the future of fintech together!
Note: All applications will be treated with strict confidence. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.

Wormhole Labs builds Sunrise (sunrise.xyz http://sunrise.xyz), a platform that helps token issuers launch and list their tokens on Solana. To date, we've orchestrated the launch of 100+ assets on Solana, accounting for more than $10 billion in cumulative trading volume.
As a Trader, you'll develop and run strategies for tokenized equities, pricing and hedging risk across onchain markets and traditional brokerage venues. You'll be responsible for managing capital and writing the code that puts your strategies into production. This is a hybrid trading and engineering role.
What you will do
- Develop and run RFQ-based trading strategies for tokenized spot equities: set parameters such as buffers, spreads, and size limits, while optimizing for evolving business goals.
- Price instruments where reference prices are thin or stale, such as long-tail stocks and extended and overnight sessions.
- Measure execution quality: benchmark fills against references, analyze markouts, and turn what you find into strategy improvements.
- Monitor positions, inventory levels and P&L in real time; proactively flag risks, execute adjustments, and continuously improve tooling & monitoring.
- Integrate with traditional brokerage venues and onchain programs to fill trades and rebalance inventory.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years trading at a market maker, prop firm, DEX, or brokerage, with professional experience specifically trading spot equities.
- Experience developing RFQ systems.
- A rigorous approach to risk management: you track exposure, hedge thoughtfully, and escalate early when conditions shift.
- Self-directed and adaptable: you're comfortable operating with autonomy in a remote-first environment.
- Strong analytical and software engineering skills (e.g., Rust)
We provide
- Competitive salary and restricted token units, dependent on position type and location.
- Unlimited time off, healthcare premium reimbursement, and 401K.
- Top-of-the-line MacBook Pro laptop.
- Flexibility of working from wherever you have work authorization, as long as you can work 10-6PM US Eastern Time. We minimize unnecessary meetings, but building decentralized systems requires synchronous communication.

THE TEAM
Payward Services is an enterprise infrastructure platform that enables companies to seamlessly integrate trading, payments, funding, and digital asset services through a single unified system. It provides coordinated liquidity, custody, compliance, risk management, and settlement capabilities, reducing operational complexity for fintechs, banks, brokerages, and payment providers.
You'll be joining the Solutions Engineering function as a core contributor on our pre-sales team. Your focus is squarely pre-sales — partnering with sales and our Partner Solutions Lead to run discovery, design winning solutions, and build PoCs that close deals. You'll operate within the frameworks and playbooks our Solutions Architect has established, and bring the technical depth to execute them deal by deal.
You'll partner directly with our Solutions Architect, sales team, and Implementation Manager. This is a high-impact execution role — you'll be running deals end-to-end and delivering the technical win alongside sales.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Run technical discovery with prospective customers alongside sales and our Partner Solutions Lead — map their architecture, constraints, and compliance needs to our product suite (Embed, Ramp, Earn, xStocks, CF Benchmarks)
- Surface recurring customer asks and product gaps from your deals and feed them to the Solutions Architect to inform the roadmap
- Design tailored solutions spanning our existing offerings, customizations to those offerings, bespoke integrations built on top of our platform, or hands-on work directly in the customer's codebase
- Scope and build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate technical feasibility and win the deal
- Own a clean, structured handoff to our Implementation team — delivering PoCs, solution design docs, and knowledge transfer sessions that ensure what was promised gets built
- Execute the pre-sales playbook — discovery frameworks, solution templates, PoC standards, and handoff runbooks — and contribute improvements back to the team as you learn what works
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4+ years in a technical pre-sales role (solutions engineering or solutions architecture) at a B2B API or infrastructure company
- Proven track record executing the technical pre-sales motion — discovery, solution design, PoC delivery, and deal-winning
- Fluency with REST/WebSocket APIs, auth patterns (OAuth, JWT), webhook architecture, and integration debugging
- Experience designing and building complex integrations for technical buyers at fintechs, banks, or neobanks — including customizations and bespoke work
- Strong knowledge transfer skills — you know how to package a solution design so an implementation team can execute it faithfully
- Clear, structured communicator who can run a discovery call, a design review, and a handoff debrief back to back
- Experience writing RFPs and documenting solution approaches that clearly communicate how our product and our customizations will solve a customer's problem
NICE TO HAVE
- Crypto domain knowledge — trading, custody, KYC, staking, fiat ramp mechanics
- Experience with embedded finance or crypto-as-a-service products
- Experience with Coast and building out proof of concept sales demos inside Coast
- Hands-on with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor) for rapid prototyping
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
