HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
As we continue to build our Sales team locally, we are looking for several ‘full-stack’ Sales. You can call it Sales, Business development... What is important for us is the mission: help companies transition to a more personal, proactive and holistic health partner.
At Alan, Sales drive deals, manage key customer relationships and help close strategic opportunities with prospects. You are directly responsible for educating prospects, providing inspiring product demonstrations, and onboarding companies’ key stakeholders as you make the transition from prospect to customer.
At the same time, we expect you to understand, embrace and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method. This method stems from the concept that the prospect experience is an inseparable piece of the overall Alan customer experience.
You are expected to make this experience pleasant, instructive and delightful by leveraging the most relevant messaging and materials (Smart) and by defining the high-touch strategy that suits best each prospect (Soft).
We also expect you to look at the big picture and help us grow and improve as a company. For that, you’ll have to be real team players even beyond your role. You’ll be expected to challenge us to improve our product(s), our methods and our strategy, and get involved in other projects and initiatives relevant to growing our customer base.

👋 A LITTLE ABOUT US
We’re building the best platform for authoring, publishing, and maintaining world-class docs. Close to 40,000 sign-ups per month, over 100k Monthly Active Users, used by 2M+ people and thousands of teams like Zoom, FedEx, Nvidia, Snyk, and Google. We’re profitable, backed by P9 Capital, Notion Capital, and Fly VC, and our amazing team is spread across 15 countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Our enterprise motion is growing, and the way we reach those buyers is changing. Docs are bought by engineering leaders, platform teams, and developer experience owners, people who don't answer cold emails but do show up at conferences, dinners, hackathons, and community meetups. Field marketing is how we get in front of them.
Today our event activity is opportunistic: a booth here, a sponsored dinner there, a webinar when someone has time. There's no tiering model, no consistent follow-up motion, and no reliable way to say which events created the (right) pipeline. This role owns all of it.
This is a new function at GitBook. You'd be the first person to own it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the global event calendar: Decide which industry tradeshows and conferences we show up at, at what level, and why and then run them end to end: sponsorship negotiation, booth, staffing, messaging, budget, and on-site execution.
- Build activation around the big moments: The booth is rarely where the deals happen. You'll design the side-events that surround a conference such as curated dinners, executive roundtables, breakfast briefings, happy hours, and build the guest lists around accounts we actually want in the room.
- Create GitBook's own events: Design and run owned formats that people want to attend because of what they are, not because we sponsored them. Roadshows, customer summits, docs-focused meetups, launch moments. You'll define the format, the content arc, and the experience.
- Experiment with community activation: Work with our DevRel colleagues on hackathons, docs sprints, and community events. Some will work and some won't; you'll run them as experiments with a clear read on what happened.
- Own online events: Webinars, virtual roundtables, and livestreams, you’ll be either running them yourself or coordinating the team members who do.
- Build the tiering model: Define what a Tier 1, 2, and 3 event looks like at GitBook: spend bands, staffing, pre- and post-event motion, and the bar an event has to clear to earn each tier.
- Report on pipeline, not attendance: Build the measurement model for events: cost per opportunity, event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, target-account attendance, and conversion through to closed won.
- Make the sales follow-up motion work: Build a lightweight SLA for pre-event target lists with AEs, brief the team on what to do at the event, and build the follow-up structure that turns a badge scan into a conversation.
- Act as ABM sparring partner: Our enterprise motion runs on account-based plays. You'll be the person Sales and Marketing think out loud with on account selection, buying-committee mapping, and how field programs plug into 1:1 and 1:few plays
HOW WE'LL MEASURE SUCCESS
In your first 90 days: a tiered event calendar for the next four quarters, a working measurement model in our CRM, and a follow-up motion Sales has actually agreed to.
After that: event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, cost per opportunity by tier, target-account penetration at Tier 1 events, and speed of follow-up.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7–10 years in B2B SaaS marketing: you need to have a meaningful stretch of that in field marketing, event marketing, or integrated demand generation. You've run international programs, including and especially in the USA.
- A ROI mindset: You talk in opportunities and cost per opportunity, not impressions and badge scans. You've defended an event budget with numbers and you've killed events that didn't earn their place.
- Real operational range: You can negotiate a sponsorship contract, argue about booth carpet, write a good invite email, and build a Hubspot dashboard or report (or know who to ask to build it for you).
- Sales credibility: AEs will trust you or route around you. You can walk into a pipeline review, take a hard question about last quarter's spend, and answer it without getting defensive.
- Taste: Most B2B events are forgettable. We'd rather run fewer things that people remember. You should have opinions about what makes an event worth attending.
- Comfort with a technical audience: Our buyers are engineers and the people who lead them. You don't need to write code, but you need to know why developer-audience marketing fails when it's too polished.
- Ownership mindset: There's no playbook here. You'll write it: defining process, flagging problems early, and not waiting to be told what to build next.
Also, you might be coming from a field marketing role at a SaaS company that got heavier on events, an event marketing role where you started owning the pipeline number, a demand gen role with a large in-person component, or a community or DevRel role that grew a commercial edge. We care less about the label than about what you can actually do. Some travel is expected, roughly a week or two a quarter, with a potential for a week a month in the conference season peak.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This isn't a role where you'll manage a team from day one, and it isn't purely strategic. You'll be on the floor at the show and in the spreadsheet the week after.
It's also not brand marketing or product marketing. You'll draw on both, and you'll partner closely with them, but you're accountable for the pipeline.
If you do this well, the function grows in scope, budget, and eventually headcount. But we're hiring for someone who wants to build it from scratch, not for the version of this role that exists in two years.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We are looking for a Head of Solutions Architecture, EMEA to join our global Field Engineering organization. You will build and lead the technical sales organization behind our customer relationships across Europe, a region where some of the most ambitious web and AI products are being built on Vercel, Next.js, and our AI stack. The architecture decisions our Solutions Architects shape early, in the first review and the first migration plan, often determine how far a customer scales with us.
You will lead the Solutions Architecture organization across EMEA, a team of Solutions Architects and the managers who lead them. You will set the bar for technical excellence across the deal cycle, coach the team through strategic accounts and critical deals, and step in yourself when it matters most: architecture reviews, migration plans, and high-stakes executive presentations. You will shape how Vercel wins in the region, turning patterns from the field into repeatable plays, adapting our motion to the realities of selling across European markets, and carrying what customers tell you back to our product and engineering teams so it shows up in the platform. You will drive org planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting as you scale the team the region needs, partner closely with EMEA Sales leadership to win new business and expand existing accounts, and report directly to our Global VP of Field Engineering.
This is a hybrid position based in our London or Berlin office, with three days per week onsite.
What you'll do
Lead, develop, and manage our team of pre- and post-sales Solutions Architects across EMEA.
Provide hands-on support for key accounts as needed (presentations, architecture reviews, migration plans).
Oversee and coach Solutions Architects on strategic accounts and other engagements across segments.
Partner with our engineering org to provide product feedback from the field.
Develop repeatable plays from trends you are seeing across your team.
Track and report SA performance to Sales and Field Engineering leadership quarterly.
Own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and regional recruiting.
What you need
10+ years of experience in Solutions Architect, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-sales roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Strong background in modern web technologies (JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, cloud infrastructure).
Proven ability to lead, coach, and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment.
Demonstrated success working with enterprise and commercial customers across diverse industries.
Strong understanding of modern software development workflows (CI/CD, DevOps, frontend frameworks, etc.).
Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive customer success.
Bonus if you
Have hands-on experience building with Vercel, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
Have led SA teams at a high-growth SaaS or cloud infrastructure company.
Bring expertise in developer tooling, edge computing, or performance optimization.
Are comfortable presenting at conferences, webinars, or large-scale customer events.
Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

WHAT YOU NEED
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. Student: currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields with an expected graduation date between Dec 2027 - 2029. Graduate degrees are preferred, but not a must.
- Strong ML Fundamentals: solid understanding of the mathematical foundations of machine learning, statistics, probability, and optimization

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We’re building a founding team of Strategic Account Executives in London.
Strategic accounts at Baseten are the largest and fastest-growing AI companies in the world. These are the teams defining the future of what AI products and services look like. These accounts can scale rapidly from one token to billions of tokens in a matter of weeks. This role owns these relationships, working directly with founders and engineering leaders on mission-critical and large-scale-AI problems in production—and shaping what we build next.
This is a highly technical sale. You’ll trade opinions on the latest open-source model releases, run fast and nuanced evaluations alongside customer engineering teams, and often pulling in SMEs from applied research to infrastructure engineers to win. You’ll bring tight sales fundamentals and process discipline, while maintaining flexibility and creativity in how you run each cycle.
This role is pioneering what sales looks like at the bleeding-edge of technology sales. This is a front row seat to the most consequential decisions made at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence. There is no faster place to learn and make an immediate impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own a focused portfolio of high-growth, strategic AI-native accounts end to end — from technical evaluation and initial workload landing through expansion as inference usage scales.
- Lead technical evaluations and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first conversation through close. Bring strong sales fundamentals and process discipline, while staying flexible and creative in how you run each sales cycle.
- Build trusted relationships with founders and technical leaders, becoming a credible partner on model, infrastructure, and inference decisions.
- Orchestrate stakeholders across applied research, engineering, and leadership to win technical evaluations and solve customer problems.
- Bring customer signal back to product, shaping roadmap priorities through the needs and patterns you see in the field.
- Stay close after close: help customers expand from an initial workload into additional use cases across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of sales experience in infrastructure, developer tools, data, or another consumption business, with a record of closing complex technical deals.
- Proven net-new experience selling complex technical products in fast-moving environments.
- Strong sales fundamentals across discovery, multi-threading, champion-building, and deal momentum.
- Genuine curiosity for open-source models and the AI infrastructure landscape. You follow model releases and can hold your own with engineers.
- Highly dynamic: comfortable when a deal goes off-script, able to meet customers where they are, and willing to change your approach without losing rigor.
- Strong technical project management: you can run a thorough evaluation across multiple workstreams and create clarity and direction for Baseten to win..
- Proven ability to sell internally, earning engineering time, aligning leadership, and getting cross-functional teams to move
- Scrappy, low-ego, collaborative operator. You run toward ambiguous problems, create structure where none exists, and earn internal support without relying on rigid swim lanes.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.

Ability to take ambiguous business problems, structure them into actionable initiatives, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders.
Strong risk identification and problem-solving skills, with the ability to spot early warning signals and translate them into concrete actions.
Experience providing operational governance through functional teams without becoming a bottleneck or taking over execution.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives without formal authority.
Strong business judgment and the ability to form an objective, data-informed perspective, ask the right questions, and challenge assumptions when needed.
Strong communication and synthesis skills, with the ability to turn complex quantitative and qualitative information into concise insights and clear recommendations for leadership.
