Fortune and Fortune Media IP Limited are not affiliated with, and do not endorse products or services of GitLab. An overview of this role Credit-based and consumption-based offerings are becoming central to how GitLab monetizes. The systems that meter, rate, and bill that consumption sit underneath all of it. You'll own the backend usage billing pipeline and its product direction while supporting the Monetization Platform and Infrastructure team as it modernizes the foundations underneath it. When another GitLab team launches a credit-consuming capability, you'll help them make it billable across GitLab.com, self-managed, and GitLab Dedicated. This is a technical, systems-oriented product role: success means building a monetization platform other teams can launch on quickly and correctly, rather than shipping customer-facing UI. What you’ll do Own the product direction for metering, aggregation, and rating in GitLab's usage billing pipeline, including the Zuora and CustomersDot integrations that turn usage into invoiced revenue. Make onboarding a new credit-consuming capability a repeatable process rather than a bespoke project each time. Partner with product teams on what to instrument, how to meter and price usage across GitLab.com, self-managed, and GitLab Dedicated, and what it takes to be billable on launch day. Stay ahead of their roadmaps so billing doesn't delay launches. Prioritize pipeline scalability, performance, and reliability as consumption grows, balancing those investments against new capability enablement. Own billing defect detection and remediation so errors surface before they reach a customer's invoice and billing outcomes remain auditable. Support the Monetization Platform and Infrastructure team by framing problems, explaining the value of platform investments, and prioritizing them against operational risk. Define and track measures of billing accuracy, pipeline reliability, cost to serve per capability, and time to monetize so teams can make informed pricing decisions. What you’ll bring Experience owning the product direction of consumption- or usage-based billing systems. Experience with Zuora or a comparable billing and revenue platform, and an understanding of how product and finance systems interact. Experience with prepaid, commitment, or credit-drawdown pricing models (balances, reservations, overage, expiration) and the edge cases they create in billing and revenue. Experience launching new products or pricing models while coordinating across engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance and go-to-market teams. Ability to bring together teams you don't manage around work their launches depend on. Experience defining problems for platform or backend teams whose users are often other teams. Clear written communication in an all-remote, asynchronous environment; you'll use issues, epics, and direction pages to lead. Familiarity with developer tooling, financial audit or revenue recognition, or an engineering background can help, but isn't required. You use AI tools as part of how you work: prototyping, analysis, spec writing, and investigation. About the team In Monetization, we coordinate across engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance and go-to-market on new products and pricing models. Our remote, asynchronous work uses written issues, and epics to keep decisions visible. Location: Berlin Workplace: Hybrid OUR STORY: Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence. Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix, Steuerbot and TaxScouts, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016. YOUR OPPORTUNITY: AI is shifting how the best products get built. The handoffs between product, design, and engineering are slowing us down. The companies moving fastest are doing it with people who own the full loop, from the user problem to the shipped feature, without losing the thread. At Taxfix, we’re rebuilding our R&D organization around this idea. We call these people builders. A Builder has a primary craft, one they’re genuinely excellent at, but they don’t stop there. They stretch across product, design, and engineering as the situation demands, using AI to cover the gaps. They’re accountable to outcomes, not job descriptions. Taxfix has put €5 billion back into our customers’ pockets and we aren’t stopping there. We operate in Germany, Spain, and the UK, and we’re in the middle of a genuine AI transformation in how we build and how we’re organized. Assume there’s no designer to give you a Figma file. No engineer to hand the spec to. The magic is knowing what to build, why, and in what order, then making it happen. If building the thing sounds more natural to you than describing it, this role is for you. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS: - Take a user problem from rough idea to shipped product. Write the brief, design the flow, prototype it, and get it in front of users, with as few handoffs as possible. Own the full loop. - Compress research, synthesis, and spec-writing from weeks into hours. You reach for AI tools not because you’ve been asked to, but because they faster make you faster in delivering high quality outcome. You know when to trust the output, when to edit it, and when to reject it. Use AI as a force multiplier. - You structure fuzzy problems, identify what should and shouldn’t be built, and move forward when there are dozens of possible directions. The magic is in the trade-offs, not the feature list. Turn ambiguous ideas into things users can trust. - You collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders on AI-related product work, translating AI concepts, capabilities, limitations, and outputs into clear product decisions. You work effectively in hybrid human-AI teams. Work in small, focused teams. - You know the metric your team is trying to move. You measure your week by what changed in user behaviour, not by how many tickets moved to Done. Be accountable to outcomes, not roadmaps. - You give feedback directly, to anyone, regardless of level. You raise blockers early and in the open. Push back when something’s wrong. Team player who raises the bar. YOUR PROFILE: YOUR CRAFT - 5+ years experience in Product Management (ideally in fintech or B2B). You’ve shipped things that real people use, and you can point to the metric that moved when you did. - Understand implicitly the product development process - from discovery, to user research to experimentation. You are able to build and defend a compelling strategy that solves user needs. - You have a builder track record: you’ve made things with AI, not just written specs about them. Shipped products, agent workflows, or tools real users have touched. Any of these count whether at work or in your personal life. - You’re AI-native by default. You use tools like Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or similar regularly. You follow the AI product space closely and you know the difference between a demo and something production-ready. - You’ve built personal AI workflows that make you meaningfully faster. You know when to trust AI output, when to edit it, and when to reject it. - You’ve gone from user problem to testable prototype without waiting for a brief to be written for you. The output was good enough that a team shipped from it. - Low PM baggage: you’re not attached to how product management "should" be done. You care about outcomes, not territory. - When designing and shipping AI-enabled products, you consider privacy, safety, fairness, transparency, bias, and accountability. You assess when AI-generated outputs are appropriate for use and raise concerns when risks or limitations are identified. YOUR RANGE - Across all three disciplines, you can hold your own: in Product you can identify opportunities, assess impact, and prioritize ruthlessly. In Design, you have taste: you know when something looks right but feels wrong. In Engineering, you’ve used AI coding tools to build something real, and you’re not dependent on an engineer to tell you why it’s broken. HOW YOU WORK - Data fluency: you know the metric you were trying to move, and you can say whether you moved it, with healthy skepticism about what metrics do and don’t tell you. - You believe in experimentation and ship with velocity to learn quickly. You know your way around AB tests and are excited to try new data science models to learn faster. - You’ve worked on products where getting it wrong has real consequences for real people, and that raised your bar, not lowered it. - You’ve found a way through blockers rather than waiting to be unblocked. When something was genuinely impossible, you documented why and moved on. - You bring an entrepreneurial and independent mindset. You are excited about spotting opportunities and then acting on them. - Fluency in English is required (German is a plus). THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF… - You’re not genuinely excited about being able to stretch across design and engineering functions. - You’ve never built an AI prototype and/or shipped code, side projects count. - You pride yourself in what you delivered rather than its impact - You need certainty, a full brief, or someone else’s research to get started. - You don’t believe in fast learning and getting things into customers hands early and use WHY TAXFIX? - A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals. - Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions. - A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like. - Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create. - 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours. - Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip. - Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal tech meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible. - Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions. - Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office. Excited? So are we. Learn more about Team Taxfix https://medium.com/taxfix on our blog and get a glimpse of our culture. At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences. Location: Yerevan, Armenia Role Purpose The AI Product Stream Lead defines and delivers AI-powered supply chain solutions that solve real customer and operations problems on the Cargoo platform. You own a product stream end to end, from framing where AI creates value (automation, decision support, agents) to shipping it and proving it works in production. You lead a cross-functional team, balancing customer value, technical and data feasibility, AI quality and cost, business priorities and delivery timelines. You also help set how Cargoo builds product in an AI-native way. Key Responsibilities AI Product Vision & Strategy Shape the stream’s product vision and strategy with stakeholders, in line with Cargoo’s AI strategy and customer needs. Identify and prioritize AI opportunities across freight operations (e.g. exception handling, quoting, document processing, planning and execution support) by value, feasibility and risk. Decide where AI should automate, where it should assist, and where a human must stay in control. Own product decisions, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, AI quality, cost, business priorities and delivery timelines. Leadership & Delivery Lead the development team through the whole product lifecycle, from discovery to rollout and adoption. Decide scope, schedule and quality, including when an AI feature is good enough to ship and when it needs another iteration. Run fast discovery loops: prototype with AI tools, validate with real users and data, then commit. Make sure the team meets internal policies, data protection rules and responsible-AI standards (incl. EU AI Act awareness). Product Management & Requirements Create clear Use Cases, Requirements and Business Rules. For AI features, add expected behaviour, edge cases, failure modes and escalation paths. Define success and evaluation criteria for AI features with engineering: accuracy, latency, cost per task and acceptable error rates, backed by representative test sets. Write User Stories and Acceptance Criteria that cover both deterministic logic and probabilistic AI behaviour. Work with engineering and data owners on data readiness: which data we need, its quality, and who owns it. Own and continuously refine the Product Backlog so the team always works on the highest-value opportunities. Track adoption and impact after release (time saved, automation rate, user trust) and feed the learning back into the roadmap. AI-Native Ways of Working Use AI tools every day for research, specs, prototyping, data analysis and feedback synthesis. Help the team and wider product org adopt AI-assisted delivery practices. Candidate Profile Education & Experience 5+ years managing software development projects, strongly preferably as a Product Owner. Technical Skills (Must Have) Deep understanding of Agile values, principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and the ability to apply them well. Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with data to make product decisions. Solid working understanding of how LLMs and AI agents work, what they are good at, and where they fail (hallucinations, non-determinism, cost, latency). Hands-on, daily use of AI tools in your own work. Fluent English, written and spoken. Strong Plus Having shipped at least one AI/ML or LLM-based feature to production. Experience defining evaluation criteria or test sets for AI features. Logistics background or experience with logistics solutions. Experience with data products, workflow automation or decision-support systems. Behavioral Traits Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including customers, executives, managers and subject matter experts. Able to explain AI trade-offs in plain language. Strong leadership and decision-making, able to guide teams and resolve conflicts. Analytical, structured and value-driven in prioritization. Evidence over hype. Curious and fast-learning, comfortable with ambiguity and quick iteration.

Location: United States Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. THE TEAM Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. Kraken's Compliance Operations teams, including the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), investigations and enhanced due diligence, are the front line of how Kraken detects and responds to financial crime. The systems they run on sit within Core Services Product, alongside the engineering teams who build them. That covers alert ingestion, case management, investigator tooling and a growing set of automation and AI tools. This role owns the product for that investigation platform. That means how an alert is created, enriched, grouped and suppressed. How it becomes a case. How an investigator reaches and documents a decision. And how every step is evidenced to a regulator or auditor. You'll start with the FIU, where the workflows are most complex and the audit bar is highest, then extend the platform across Compliance Operations. THE OPPORTUNITY - Own the investigation-platform roadmap end to end. Sequence it and defend it, and re-sequence it when a regulator or the RCO raises a P0. - Define "done" before build starts. Write phased deliverables and acceptance criteria that Compliance signs off, and hold the line when scope moves. - Get requirements in before engineering starts. Build the intake between Compliance policy, monitoring rules and case management so that changes don't reach investigators before their workflows are ready. - Understand the process before building. Reconcile policy and SOPs against what investigators actually do and what the system actually does. Know the difference between a process fix and a technical one, and say which requests are in scope for engineering. - Understand the pipeline well enough to challenge it: ingestion, profile and transaction resolution, suppression and grouping logic, and reconciliation between vendor output and case management. Be able to walk an auditor through it with live examples. - Make auditability a first-class requirement: audit trail, data lineage, evidence retention, reviewer attribution, change-management controls, and validation of filtering and suppression logic. - Ship automation and AI into regulated workflows with controls that hold up in Compliance, IT and privacy audits. That means human-in-the-loop design, explainability and ongoing monitoring. - Run the operating rhythm: a shared forum with engineering and adjacent product managers, a regular stakeholder update, and one delivery status that everyone reads the same way. WHAT YOU BRING - 4+ years of product management, including 2+ years on financial-crime systems such as transaction monitoring, investigations, case management, KYC/EDD or sanctions screening. - Working knowledge of how an AML programme is examined, including the questions regulators, internal audit and model validation ask about monitoring, filing and control systems. - The technical fluency to go deep on data flows and system design with engineers, and to spot when a design won't meet the requirement. - A track record of shipping internal tools or operational platforms that measurably changed how an operations team works. - Clear, concise writing, from PRDs and phase plans to audit walkthroughs and executive updates. - The judgement to tell a senior stakeholder a timeline isn't realistic because the requirements aren't written yet, and to keep the relationship intact. NICE TO HAVES - Direct FIU experience, such as alert disposition, SAR/STR filing or leading investigators. - Crypto or digital-asset experience, such as blockchain analytics, wallet-level transaction analysis or focal vs counterparty logic. - Experience shipping AI or ML into a regulated investigative workflow, including the control design. - Build-vs-buy and vendor evaluation for monitoring or case-management tooling. - Experience with programmes that span jurisdictions (UK, EU/MiCA, US). Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. OUR COMMITMENT Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto. We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process.
