Engineering Manager - Product
We're looking for an Engineering Manager who's both a technical leader and a product builder. You'll guide a cross-functional team (5-10 engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA) in delivering products that create real value for hundreds of thousands of businesses across Europe.
What You Will Be Doing
You're a seasoned technical leader with strong engineering roots and a track record of building teams that ship products that matter. You communicate clearly with everyone – engineers, product managers, executives – and you're genuinely curious about the product, the users, the business, and how your team's work drives real impact.
You don't just manage delivery. You challenge problem framing with your PM partner, ensure the team solves the right problems, and think in terms of business outcomes, not just technical outputs. You're comfortable discussing retention and conversion funnels alongside system architecture. You help the team understand ROI and prioritize based on value and effort.
You have deep technical expertise and can still step in to unblock when needed. You balance feature delivery with technical debt, keeping scalability in mind while ensuring the team ships at pace. You make technical decisions through explicit trade-offs, not gut feelings, and help everyone understand the "why" behind choices.
You take ownership of both outcomes and people. You run meaningful 1:1s, create growth plans, and own hiring and promotions. You build engaged teams through honest feedback and coaching. You invest in making the team more productive – better tools, smarter processes, fewer bottlenecks.
You drive predictable delivery by partnering tightly with Product and Design. You communicate proactively about priorities, risks, and constraints. You encourage healthy debate and move toward "disagree and commit" when needed.
Who You Are
5+ years of software development building data-intensive production systems
Proven track record leading cross-functional engineering teams
Deep technical knowledge: hands-on experience with at least one of the common general-purpose languages and platforms (C#/.NET, Java/JVM, JavaScript/Node, Go), distributed architectures, databases, messaging and queueing systems.
Experience in product-led organizations, ideally with international scopeStrong business acumen – you connect engineering work to revenue, retention, and trust
Comfortable with product metrics (DAU/MAU, retention, conversion funnels)
Exceptional communication in English across all audiencesA builder's mentality: you care about shipping great products and growing great teams
Our tech stack
Backend: .NET Core, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Kubernetes
You'll lead teams using React, Swift/Kotlin, Python/ML frameworks, and modern QA tools

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

As Team Lead for the Magarini LLS Project, you will lead the call center team that carries out outbound follow-up with recipients, by phone and through in-person field visits across Magarini Sub-County. You will own the team’s performance against its KPIs, keep call and field-visit quality high, and make sure every recipient is heard, respected, and supported.
You will coach and support agents, handle escalated and sensitive cases, decide when a case needs an in-person visit, and keep the team’s reporting accurate and current. You will work closely with the Call Center Manager and field colleagues, and you are expected to model GiveDirectly’s values and uphold its data integrity and ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
(A) Performance Management
Conduct weekly 1:1 check-ins with all assigned agents, reviewing performance against team KPIs and, where relevant, in-person follow-up outcomes.
Lead weekly team huddles covering performance trends, blockers, and updates
Own team-level KPIs (Agent Utilization, Speed of Cash, Positive Recipient Experience, and any additional KPIs defined by the Call Center Manager)
Manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) end-to-end, including documentation and follow-through
(B) Quality Assurance
Review a minimum of 4 recorded or side-by-side outbound calls per agent per week against the team's QA rubric
Periodically accompany agents on in-person field visits in Kitui to assess the quality of in-person follow-up and eligibility determination
Score calls and field visits consistently, and document QA feedback in an auditable format
Identify recurring quality gaps and design targeted coaching or refresher training to address them
Calibrate QA scoring periodically with the Call Center Manager or peer Team Leads to ensure consistency across teams
Track QA score trends over time per agent and flag agents needing additional support before performance drops significantly
(C) People Management
Conduct at least 30 minutes of coaching per agent per week, grounded in specific call or case examples, separate from performance review and focused on skill growth
Support onboarding and integration of any new agents joining the team
Manage team attendance and leave planning, ensuring adequate coverage across remote and field days
Identify and act on opportunities for morale-building (for example recognition, team check-ins, and addressing burnout risk given the mix of remote and field demands)
Maintain healthy team dynamics through proactive conflict resolution
Recognize and reinforce both individual and team wins, not just performance gaps
Act as the first point of support for agent wellbeing concerns, escalating to the Call Center Manager or People team where appropriate
Support agents' growth conversations, even where no formal progression path currently exists, by identifying stretch opportunities within the role
(D) Agent Support & Escalations
Provide real-time floor support for outbound call queries
Handle escalated cases, including deciding whether a recipient needs an in-person visit (for example unreachable recipients, disputed eligibility, or adverse events)
Track and follow through on any case handed off from phone-based follow-up to field visit in Kitui
During field visits, directly observe and coach agents on in-person follow-up quality
Host donors, partners, and leadership during their visits to the Kitui field sites
Build and maintain working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including field colleagues and partners, and keep them informed of team progress, risks, and escalations
(E) Reporting, Systems & Administration
Plan and manage weekly rosters for the team, factoring in the mostly remote structure and scheduled field visit days
Generate real-time performance reports using Salesforce, Call Center Studio, and Tableau dashboards
Keep trackers (QA logs, coaching logs, case escalations, attendance) accurate and current
Proactively flag systemic issues and recommend adjustments
Deliver monthly or quarterly refresher trainings on new protocols, products, or system updates
Document coaching sessions and PIPs consistently and in an auditable format
Key Competencies and Attributes
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, community development, public health, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a call center or customer support environment, including at least 1 year leading, supervising, or coaching a team of agents
Experience in call center work, quality assurance, including scoring calls against a rubric and giving performance feedback
Experience in nonprofit, humanitarian, or development work, or with in-person field follow-up, is an added advantage
Knowledge of Salesforce, CommCare, Call Center Studio, SMS Leopard, Tableau, bulk messaging, and AI Assistant tools is an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-management skills
Sound judgment on when a case needs escalation
Willingness to travel regularly to field sites across Magarini Sub County/Kilifi County, including remote areas
Ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive recipient cases
Genuine people-first instinct, able to balance metrics-driven management with team morale and wellbeing

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies. SDG solves the problems of loneliness, isolation, and disconnection - transforming virtual intimacy into the new normal. SDG’s products redefine the way people interact and connect with one another.
Our portfolio includes social entertainment platforms designed to connect people online across different cultures and regions of the world.
We bring together a team of like-minded people and IT professionals who specialize in creating and developing globally impactful social discovery products. Our international team of digital nomads works remotely from all over the world.
We’re proud to be a two-time “Great Place to Work” winner (USA & Japan, 2024–2025) and a Top-5 Company for Work-From-Anywhere Jobs (FlexJobs, 2025).
We are looking for a Product Owner (Customer Experience).
In this role, you will own the end-to-end customer journey across our products, from the first visit to meaningful long-term connections. Your mission is to find the biggest growth opportunities in a product used by a million-strong audience, remove whatever stands between users and a great experience, and turn every improvement into measurable business results.
Your main tasks will be:
Own the customer journey end-to-end, from registration to quality conversations, identifying friction points and growth opportunities across the whole funnel.
Dig into data yourself: explore analytics with AI tools (e.g., querying BigQuery via MCP), validate insights, and turn them into strong, evidence-backed hypotheses.
Write concise product briefs and drive ideas through specs, prototyping, and release together with developers, analysts, and designers.
Build and prioritize the backlog based on the value each initiative brings to users and the business.
Connect every initiative to business impact (revenue, net profit) rather than isolated conversion gains.
Scale successful experiments across our product portfolio.
We expect from you:
Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager, or Team Lead in B2C products; startup experience is welcome.
A hands-on approach: you do the analysis, write the briefs, and push ideas through to results yourself.
Practical experience using AI tools for product analytics and documentation.
Strong command of product metrics and funnel analytics, combined with a solid understanding of unit economics.
Track record of owning a business metric (revenue, turnover, net profit), not only conversion rates.
Strong prioritization skills and comfort working with a broad scope.
Persistence and drive to achieve results in challenging conditions.
A technical background (degree in a technical field or previous development experience) is a strong plus.
Why join:

About the Project
Project Hydrus is a scripted and conversational audio data collection project. The recordings produced help build natural, everyday-sounding synthesized voices for conversational AI products — voices that sound like real people talking, not scripted performances.
As Session Director, you'll lead live recording sessions with Voice Contributors, guiding them through scripted scenarios to produce natural, conversational-quality audio. This hands-on role blends creative direction, coaching, and technical audio judgment — making scripted material sound authentic and unscripted, rather than recited, while keeping sessions moving at a natural pace.
What You'll Do
Direct voice performers through scripted scenarios, coaching for natural, conversational delivery rather than verbatim recitation.
Build quick scene context for performers (who, where, why) and improvise to fill narrative or dialogue gaps live, keeping sessions flowing naturally.
Adapt scripted wording for natural phrasing and regional/dialect authenticity as needed.
Monitor and correct technical audio quality in real time: mic technique, pacing, clarity, and background noise.
Manage session pacing to meet recording targets without sacrificing performance quality, and maintain organized notes on adjustments and retakes.
Create a supportive, low-pressure environment for performers, including those with limited prior voice experience.
What We're Looking For
Required
Native fluency in the required language (with specific dialect), with a strong ear for natural, colloquial phrasing.
Experience directing, coaching, or producing voice or audio talent (e.g., voice direction, casting direction, audio/podcast production, dubbing/ADR, or theater direction).
Demonstrated ability to give clear, specific, actionable performance direction.
Strong working knowledge of basic recording/mic technique (proximity, plosives, room noise, levels).
Comfortable improvising and adjusting scripted material on the spot.
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly with performers of varying experience levels.
Preferred (nice to have, not required)
Background in improv, theater direction, or acting coaching.
Experience directing non-professional or first-time voice talent specifically.
Familiarity with DAWs or recording software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Reaper) for spot-checking audio quality.

About the Project
Project Hydrus is a scripted and conversational audio data collection project. We're looking for native-level speakers who can deliver natural, everyday-sounding speech — recordings that hold up whether you're reading a script or speaking spontaneously.
Please note: the recordings you produce may be used to create synthesized, AI-generated voices for conversational AI products. Full details on how your data is collected, used, shared, and retained are set out in a Consent Form, which you'll review and sign before any paid session recording begins.
What You'll Do If Selected:
Two supervised sessions of approximately 4 hours each, guided in real time by a Session Director on a separate recording platform.
Record scripted material in a natural, conversational tone — faithfully, without a polished, performed, or “announcer” delivery.
Record unscripted, spontaneous speech on a given topic, matching the same warmth and pace as your scripted takes.
Set up and manage your own recording space and equipment for session recording.
Deliver all recordings entirely in the required language (with specific dialect), without code-switching into other languages or dialects.
What We're Looking For
Required
Experience as a voice actor, actor, or theater performer, or a comparable performance background.
Native or native-equivalent fluency in the required language (with specific dialect).
Access to a quiet recording space, free of echo and background noise (acoustically treated for session recording, if selected).
Owns or will acquire a dedicated, professional-grade microphone for the audition (e.g. RODE NT-USB Mini, Blue Yeti), upgrading to a qualifying USB condenser or XLR mic + audio interface for session recording if selected. Built-in laptop mics, AirPods, earbuds, and headsets are not accepted at any stage.
Owns closed-back monitoring headphones (required for session recording if selected).
Comfortable both self-directing for the audition and taking live direction from a Session Director in guided sessions.
Preferred (nice to have, not required)
Professional voice-over experience (dubbing/ADR, audiobook, podcasting) in a conversational rather than commercial/announcer register.
Baseline audio hygiene: comfortable setting mic distance and catching noise, clipping, or distortion yourself.
An existing home recording setup already treated for sound.
Your Data & Privacy
Before any session recording, you'll be asked to review and sign a Consent Form covering how your voice recordings are collected, used (including to train synthesized/AI voice models), shared with approved partners, retained, and how to exercise your data rights (access, correction, deletion, and more, depending on where you live). If you'd like to review these terms before applying, contact us and we'll share a copy in advance.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Join Anthropic as an EMEA-based Customer Success Manager supporting our Beneficial Deployments team's work with nonprofits. You'll be a strategic partner and trusted advisor to mission-driven organizations across EMEA, spanning a range of impact areas. Your focus is driving activation, adoption, and value of Claude across Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, and the API. That means helping these organizations evolve how they work internally, and guiding them as they evolve how they serve their missions and constituents with AI.
You'll work as a pod with your Account Executive and Applied AI counterpart. Within the pod, you'll decide what level of engagement each customer most needs and either personally deliver it or connect the customer to resources that serve their needs. CS-led engagements range from high-touch 1:1 partnerships to one-to-many cohort engagements, with the latitude to design other approaches where they serve customers better.
As one of our early Customer Success Managers in EMEA, you'll be a pioneer: helping to build regional processes, establish new customer relationships, and represent Anthropic's brand in a high-growth market. You'll operate with significant autonomy while staying closely aligned with global teams, which calls for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and works effectively across time zones.
The insights you gather from these partnerships will directly inform our research priorities, product development, and strategies for beneficial AI deployment. As the voice of the customer, you'll help shape how we build and deliver AI systems that amplify social good.
Key responsibilities
Work as a pod with your Account Executive and Applied AI counterpart, building shared territory and success plans
Drive activation and adoption across your portfolio, using your judgment to match the engagement model to what each customer most needs
Use your knowledge of each customer and of regional nuances to plan usage proactively, understanding current and future consumption and adoption and how they create realized value for the customer
Build trusting relationships with nonprofit leaders, program teams, and IT staff to understand their mission, goals, and capacity
Guide customers in evolving how they work internally, with change management suited to mission-driven cultures, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and enablement that respects capacity constraints
Help customers evolve how they serve their missions and constituents with AI, identifying high-impact use cases across program delivery, research, fundraising, and operations
Become an expert in Anthropic's products across the API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code, guiding customers to the right solutions and keeping them current on what's new
Document and quantify value realized through social impact outcomes, program effectiveness, cost savings, and mission amplification, and share it in regular impact reviews that build the case for continued investment
Build the repeatable playbooks, enablement resources, and regional processes that scale across the EMEA portfolio, and bring customer insights back to Product and Research
You may be a good fit if you have
5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (Customer Success, Consulting, Solutions Architecture, or similar), ideally supporting mission-driven organizations such as nonprofits, foundations, educational institutions, or government agencies
Experience working as part of an account team alongside sales and technical counterparts
Experience managing high-touch strategic accounts and designing one-to-many programs (cohorts, webinars, user communities, or similar), with the judgment to know which a customer needs
A track record of driving activation and adoption of new technology, including change management in organizations with limited technical capacity
Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models
Technical fluency with AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns, and the ability to explain them to audiences from frontline staff to executive leadership
A strategic mindset to identify opportunities for expanded social impact and turn them into actionable plans
Comfort operating with significant autonomy in an early-stage regional team, and working effectively with global colleagues across time zones
Passion for both AI and social impact work, with strong interest in ensuring frontier AI systems are developed safely, ethically, and deployed to benefit society
A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality
(Bonus) Fluency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Louisiana to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbor, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand.
You will travel regularly within Louisiana, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with parish presidents and councils, police juries, mayors and municipal officials, parish planning and zoning bodies, port, levee, and drainage districts, state economic development agencies, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Louisiana data center markets you cover
Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations
Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate
Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media
Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement
Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced
Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging
Coordinate charitable giving, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing nonprofit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use, including flood risk, storm resilience, and how large electricity needs are served by local utilities
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local or state government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with parish and municipal governments and a broad set of community stakeholders on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings, including town halls, hearings, and press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Louisiana or willing to relocate there, and prepared to travel regularly across the state
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the parish and municipal level, including local review of industrial tax incentives
Experience in communities with a long industrial, energy, or port presence, and an understanding of coastal, flood, and hurricane resilience concerns
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
Experience engaging with Tribal nations in Louisiana, including familiarity with consultation processes and Tribal sovereignty
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing

Claude is trained and served on hardware in data centers Anthropic operates and in sites partners build and run for us. DCSE secures that footprint: the sites, the hardware moving through them, and the people and vendors who touch it. You'll be the engineer who owns autonomous systems across that footprint as one security domain, from both sides: drones, ground robots and automated vehicles for patrol, inspection and moving hardware, including the security of that automation inside secure areas, and the detection systems that tell us what is flying over or operating near a site uninvited.
You set the approach, select and integrate the platforms and sensors, write the requirements vendors build to, and run what you ship, from the operating model where operators assign missions and machines carry them out to the playbook that turns a detection into an identified track and a well-evidenced handoff to whoever holds authority over the airspace. Interdiction is not part of this role. The goal is security that runs itself: coverage, fleet health and evidence verified continuously, with tools and AI agents doing the routine triage. We favor simple, standard controls and tools that can be verified over elaborate ones. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
You'll work with the rest of DCSE, including its physical security systems engineers and the engineers on its security monitoring platform, with Anthropic's data center operations and legal teams, and directly with site operators, equipment vendors and aviation and public safety authorities. The role is based in San Francisco, with remote applicants in the US considered, and involves regular travel to data center sites, which are critical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Autonomous security and inspection systems:
own the drones, ground robots and other autonomous platforms for perimeter patrol, incident response and infrastructure inspection: platform selection, operating model, operator qualification, maintenance, and the data path from machine to analyst
Tools, automation and AI agents:
build the integrations that carry detections, tracks, telemetry and fleet health into the team's security monitoring platform, and the tools and agents that triage detections, check fleet health and assemble evidence. When a review keeps costing people time, you build the tool or agent that retires it
Detection of uncrewed systems:
engineer the sensing that tells us what is flying over or operating near a site, what it is and who needs to know: sensor selection and evaluation against live targets, per-site coverage, classification and false-alarm handling, and the playbook from first detection to handoff, with evidence retained
Security of site automation:
engineer the controls on automated vehicles, robots and similar machines that move hardware or work inside secure areas: identity and access, network isolation, what they may record and where it goes, fail-secure behavior, their place in chain of custody, and acceptance before they enter a site
Regulatory and site constraints:
establish what we may sense, fly, drive, record and retain at each site, partner-operated sites included, under the aviation, spectrum, privacy and safety rules that apply there, with the waivers and approvals that extend it and coordination with local authorities set up before it is needed
Health monitoring:
define and test heartbeats, loss-of-coverage and lost-link alarms and fail-secure behavior, so a silent sensor or machine shows as a fault, not a quiet day
Vendor requirements and acceptance:
write the requirements, evaluate against live flights and runs, and hold vendors to what they ship
Minimum qualifications
Have engineered autonomous or sensing systems in the field (drones, ground robots, automated vehicles, or RF, radar or optical detection sensors): selected, integrated or secured them for an operation other people relied on, and verified what they actually do against real targets or runs rather than a datasheet
Have integrated systems you did not build (vendor APIs, SDKs, appliances, machine and sensor telemetry) into a platform that outlives any one of them
Read and review code, design the data systems behind security tooling, and build automation (often with AI coding agents) using Git and code review
Have done this work hands-on for data centers, critical infrastructure or a large hardware fleet
Have designed inside a regulatory or safety constraint (aviation, spectrum, privacy, machine safety or similar) and can show the decision it drove
Own a domain end to end: set the approach, carry it through with vendors, site operators, partners and authorities, and run it as something people depend on every day
Preferred qualifications
Remote pilot certification (for example FAA Part 107) and experience flying beyond visual line of sight under a waiver or exemption
Experience with counter-drone (counter-UAS) detection, airspace surveillance or air traffic data systems
Experience running a robot, drone or automated-vehicle fleet in an industrial, logistics or data center setting: fleet management, mission planning, safety cases
Experience securing embedded, operational technology or robotic systems: device identity, network segmentation, update control, logging
Experience with physical security operations at large sites, with law enforcement or aviation authorities, or at sites you did not fully control: cloud, colocation or GPU cloud operators
Have built AI agents or automation that replaced recurring manual work

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
