About us:
At Praktika.ai we are on a mission to deliver efficient and engaging learning experiences for billions of students worldwide by bridging the gap between learning apps and human tutors.
We have done this by creating a fully automated language tutorship experience powered by generative AI Avatars.
After raising $30 million in Series-A funding, we are growing and looking for a Chief of Staff to join us! We are a global small team of 50 innovators who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in language learning and tutoring.
In this fast-paced environment we like independent self-starters who can work well in a team as well as unassisted and who enjoy the working environment of an early-stage startup.
About the role:
Be the glue across the company, the heart of the role:
Run the leadership rhythm.
Prepare the weekly leadership sync, write down what was decided, and follow up every action until it is done.
Know what every team is doing.
Spot work that falls between teams and either fix it or get someone to own it.
Turn priorities into plans.
Take the CEO's priorities and turn them into plans with an owner, a date and a one-line weekly status.
Unblock decisions.
Bring each open decision to the right person with the facts and a recommendation, so nothing waits for weeks.
Own what has no owner.
When something lands with no obvious home, it comes to you.
Finance, about 40% of your time
Own the financial model.
Update it monthly, or weekly when needed. Build scenarios such as a fundraise, a cash view next to the accrual view, and unit economics like LTV:CAC and renewal curves.
Run the monthly close
with our external accountant. Review the numbers, catch errors before they reach the books, and report actuals against budget to the leadership team.
Get us ready to raise.
Prepare the finance and reporting for investors and the board, so we are ready for the next fundraise.
Run tax and entity admin
across our UK, US and UAE entities, with outside advisers: VAT returns, US tax and transfer pricing.
Manage vendor spend.
Approve and pay invoices, negotiate the big contracts (payments, cloud, analytics, AI providers) and track every renewal date.
Look after equity admin:
option grants and the cap table, with our lawyers.
Compliance and legal
Run the compliance programme
with our engineering lead: ISO 27001 and SOC 2, the yearly audits, policies and evidence.
Support enterprise deals.
Work with the B2B team on security questionnaires, data processing agreements and contract reviews.
Keep the company in order:
contracts, board consents and minutes, visas and entity filings, with our lawyers and people team.
Strategic projects
Take big bets from idea to launch:
new markets, new distribution platforms and large partnerships.
Spot opportunities nobody owns,
such as an award, a partnership or a market, and move them without being asked.
Run one-off projects
for the CEO and the leadership team: research, business cases, incentive plans and process fixes.
What are we looking for from you:
A finance background.
Investment banking, private equity, venture capital or corporate finance. This is not optional.
Strong financial modelling.
You can build and run a company model from scratch, and explain it to people who do not work in finance.
Proactive.
You see what needs doing and do it before anyone asks. We value this trait above all others.
Autonomous.
You make decisions on your own, with incomplete information, and you are comfortable with ambiguity.
A clear writer.
We work async, so most of your influence will happen in writing.
Low ego.
You do the unglamorous tasks as well as the strategic ones, and you see them as the way to learn the business.
Built for startup pace.
Urgent turnarounds and changing priorities do not throw you. You would rather ship, learn and fix than wait for perfect.
Why should you join Praktika:
We expect dedication and hard work but we also believe in rewarding it. Our compensation reflects the effort and results you bring to the table.

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime Arcade, we’ve become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually.
Ensuring Authenticity for Billions of Daily Rewards
Industry reports suggest 25 percent of global mobile ad spend is lost to fraudulent activities like click farms, fake installs, SDK spoofing, and emulator farms. At adjoe, we define our platform through trust and proactive engineering. We build high-performance defenses that guarantee accurate reward attribution, ensuring every interaction is authentic. This creates a sustainable value exchange that empowers our partners to grow with confidence.
The Anti-Fraud team develops systems that detect and prevent malicious activity at scale. Our custom Android and iOS SDKs analyze device integrity for modifications like Xposed frameworks, Magisk modules, and jailbroken devices. Supporting these, Go microservices and DynamoDB deliver millisecond-level responses, while Kafka and SQS process billions of daily events in real time. This infrastructure protects publisher margins and ensures a trustworthy platform for all users.
YOUR MISSION & WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- AdTech Domain & Anti-Fraud Core Requirement
You bring a solid foundation in the AdTech ecosystem (publishers, advertisers, SDK attribution, monetization) and direct exposure to cheating in mobile games. Joining our Anti-Fraud Operations unit, you will act as the primary technical PoC for Support, Sales, and BI teams, owning complex fraud escalations and translating business edge cases into technical fixes.
- Investigative Mindset & Root-Cause Analysis
You possess eagle-eyed curiosity and an investigative, hacker mindset. When publisher margins drop, external platforms (iOS/Android) shift, or campaigns misbehave, you won't wait for step-by-step instructions—you will connect messy clues, reproduce exploit scenarios, and trace non-obvious fraud patterns to their source.
- AI-Empowered Big Data Interrogation
You will leverage AI tools alongside Trino SQL, ScyllaDB, and DynamoDB to rapidly query and analyze billions of daily telemetry events. You will direct AI to accelerate complex data analyses, build models, and surface bad actors in real time without getting bogged down in manual query assembly.
- Observability, Profiling & Microservice Debugging
You will monitor platform health and debug system anomalies using Kibana, Grafana, and Go profiling tools like Pyroscope and pprof. You will trace real-time pipeline bottlenecks and API glitches across Kafka, SQS, and Go microservices to catch bugs or platform misconfigurations.
- Cross-Functional Fraud Mitigation & Pragmatic Engineering
You bring a functional software development background in backend engineering (preferably Go) alongside experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, allowing you to comfortably navigate backend code logic. Collaborating with Backend, Mobile, and Data Science teams, you will use AI to draft clean code fixes, propose new detection rules, and take full responsibility for deploying verified mitigations that protect publisher margins.
🌎 WE WELCOME APPLICATIONS FROM TALENT WORLDWIDE AND PROVIDE RELOCATION SUPPORT TO HAMBURG, GERMANY FOR THOSE READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime, we've become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually
Creating solutions that run on 13% of the world’s smartphones
The Mobile Integrations team builds the core technology that turns advertising from an interruption into a rewarded experience for 770 million users. We own the robust, lightweight, integration layer between our ad engine and the global mobile ecosystem, ensuring our technology operates with minimal overhead while reaching a massive portion of the smartphone market.
On the client side, our technology performs smoothly across 20 million daily SDK initializations. We build native Swift and Kotlin SDKs optimized for ms initialization and minimal binary overhead, with Unity, Flutter, and React Native wrappers that provide a unified API across the entire mobile ecosystem. Behind the scenes, a high-throughput Go and DynamoDB architecture handles the real-time state synchronization of millions of concurrent sessions. When your code runs on nearly one out of every seven smartphones on Earth, every millisecond of execution and every byte of memory counts.
What you Will Do:
- Own and prioritize the Mobile SDK product backlog, balancing customer needs, business priorities, technical requirements, and engineering capacity.
- Translate product and developer needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable priorities for the engineering team.
- Drive feature delivery from discovery and planning through development, testing, release, and post-launch evaluation.
- Work closely with Android, iOS, Backend, QA, and other stakeholders to manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers, developers, and internal teams to identify integration pain points and opportunities to improve the SDK and developer experience.
- Support SDK releases and rollouts, including release planning, documentation, adoption tracking, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Use product data, SDK telemetry, and feedback to measure outcomes, identify opportunities, and continuously improve the Mobile SDK platform.
Who You Are:
- You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. (Bonus points if you have a background in ad-tech or Mobile/SDKs)
- You aren't expected to write code, but you are right at home discussing SDK architecture. You grasp the fundamentals and differences between iOS and Android, empowering you to have meaningful debates with the development team and properly weigh technical debt against business value.
- You have a proven track record of leveraging A/B testing and experimentation to drive product strategy. You know exactly how to define clear success metrics, analyze KPIs, and confidently pivot based on what the data tells you.
- You are a digital native who speaks the language of both business and engineering fluidly. You excel at closing the gap, aligning what the business envisions with what the technology can actually execute.
- You take deep ownership of your product. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and making the objective calls needed to balance incoming business requests with the long-term technical integrity of the platform.
- You possess concise, direct communication skills. You know how to align, motivate, and guide interdisciplinary teams, cultivating a thriving and collaborative environment even as project requirements evolve.
What you get:
- Invest in Your Future: Regular feedback and our development program support your growth, helping you expand your skill set and achieve your career goals.
- Easy Arrival to adjoe: From signing to settling in Hamburg, we’ve got you covered. Need a visa? No problem. Ready to build your new life and career at adjoe in Hamburg? We support every ambition—from learning German to a relocation bonus that helps you make Hamburg feel like home.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp’s Token Spend Management team helps finance and technical teams understand and manage what they spend across AI providers and subscriptions. We are building the third pillar https://ramp.com/blog/ramp-at-44-billion-the-third-pillar of finance. The product brings provider usage and billing information together so customers can see where costs come from, attribute spend, and act on it with greater confidence.
We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to build the systems behind that experience. You’ll own substantial projects from design through production, turn data from different providers into dependable product experiences, and work with product, design, data, and engineering partners to make complex spend information useful to customers. You will be involved in key company initiatives such as inference accounting, and figuring out new and novel ways to help companies not just manage, but think about their AI Spend.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and build backend services and APIs that support AI spend visibility, attribution, insights, and controls
- Build and improve integrations that ingest usage and billing information from supported providers
- Taking the data from those integrations and converting it into helpful structures for external customers, and internal product consumers
- Create reliable data models and processing workflows that make spend information accurate, traceable, and useful across the product
- Own projects from technical design through launch, monitoring, and iteration
- Improve the reliability, performance, and observability of systems as customer usage and provider coverage grow
- Partner with product, design, data, and engineering teammates to turn customer needs into practical solutions
- Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience designing, building, and operating production backend systems, including APIs, data models, and asynchronous workflows
- Strong judgment about system design, data correctness, reliability, and when to keep a solution simple
- A track record of independently owning complex projects and shipping high-quality software
- Experience working with external data sources or integrations where data quality and changing interfaces matter
- Comfort working through ambiguous product problems with cross-functional partners
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to technical decisions and feedback
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with usage metering, billing, spend management, or financial data products
- Experience integrating with AI providers or other third-party usage and billing APIs
- Experience building attribution, alerts, limits, or other systems that help customers understand and manage spend

Getting paid is still one of the most manual parts of running a business. Finance teams chase invoices over email, match payments to invoices by hand in spreadsheets, and close the books late because cash data is scattered across banks, payment processors, and ERPs.
Ramp's Accounts Receivable team is building the system that automates all of it, from the moment an invoice is sent to the moment cash is reconciled in the general ledger. We own the full receivables lifecycle: invoicing, collections, payments, cash application, and accounting sync.
We're looking for a senior backend engineer to own core pieces of that system. The work sits where hard engineering problems meet real money: matching messy payment data to the right invoices, keeping ledgers correct to the cent, and syncing reliably with the accounting systems our customers depend on. You'll own projects end to end, from design through production, and work closely with product and design to turn complex finance workflows into software that just works.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build the payment-matching systems that automatically apply incoming ACH, wire, card, and check payments to the right invoices, even when payment details are incomplete or inconsistent
- Design accurate data models where every dollar is traceable from invoice to payment to general ledger
- Build two-way integrations with ERPs like NetSuite and QuickBooks that stay consistent through retries, partial failures, and edits on either side
- Build collections workflows that help businesses get paid faster without hurting their customer relationships
- Own projects from problem definition and technical design through launch, monitoring, and iteration
- Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Product sense: you care about the customer problem, not just the ticket, and you push back when the spec is wrong
- Experience designing and operating production backend systems, including APIs, data models, and asynchronous workflows
- Strong system design judgment and the ability to balance speed, correctness, reliability, and simplicity
- A track record of independently owning complex projects and shipping high-quality software
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to technical decisions
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with invoicing, billing, payments, accounting, or other financial workflows
- Experience building integrations that keep data consistent across systems
- Experience improving reliability and operational visibility in a growing product
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp
- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay
- Pet insurance
- In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more
- Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed)
CANADA
- Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life
- Life, AD&D, and disability coverage
- Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime)
- Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay
- Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health
UNITED KINGDOM
- Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
AI is changing what security teams can do. Claude can find and help fix vulnerabilities in code at a pace that wasn't possible a year ago, and we want defenders to have that advantage first.
As Manager, Cybersecurity Sales Specialists, you'll build and lead the team of cybersecurity specialists who sell to security teams across our Americas business units, including financial services, healthcare and life sciences, and technology. Your team partners with the Account Executives in each industry to lead the security strategy and the security deal with CISOs.
You'll help shape how Anthropic sells security: how your team covers the business units, how it works with the Account Executive and Applied AI organizations, and how what we learn from customers shapes what we build. The work matters to our mission: a safe transition through transformative AI depends on the people who defend critical systems being able to use it well, and this team is how we get it into their hands.
Responsibilities
Hire, onboard and develop a high-performing team of cybersecurity sales specialists
Own your team's forecast, pipeline health and results across the business units you cover
Set your team's coverage model, and agree on clear rules of engagement with the sales leaders who own each industry and with Applied AI leadership on discovery, proofs of concept and architecture
Build a pipeline engine with the Account Executives, across their existing accounts and through outbound to security leaders, events and partners
Coach your team through complex deals that lead with the customer's problem (finding and fixing vulnerabilities, application security, security operations, and deploying AI agents securely), and act as executive sponsor with CISOs on the most important ones
Make security reviews, verification for security use cases, and procurement a repeatable path rather than a deal-by-deal effort
Scale enablement so Account Executives across every business unit can spot and qualify security opportunities
Bring what your team hears from security customers to sales leadership and to our product, safeguards and marketing teams, and turn it into input on the roadmap
Run a healthy team: clear expectations, regular feedback, and performance and development conversations
Minimum Qualifications
Experience building and leading a cybersecurity sales team that carried a number, whether direct, specialist or overlay, including hiring, coaching and managing performance
Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals where the security organization was the buyer or the deciding approver, and of coaching others to do the same
Fluency in how security teams work, built by selling directly to CISOs, application security leads and security engineers
Depth in at least one security domain, such as application security, vulnerability management, security operations, cloud, data, identity or endpoint security
History of building a business before there was an established approach, through outbound and partners rather than inherited accounts
Ability to lead through influence as well as authority, so that Account Executives and their leaders bring your team in because it helps them win
Consultative approach to selling and coaching: understanding the problem before proposing anything, and being honest about what a product can't do
Commitment to making AI systems safe and beneficial
Preferred Qualifications
Background selling security in one of the industries we cover, and an understanding of how security is bought and regulated there
Experience managing managers and individual contributors, or scaling a sales team through fast growth
Experience leading teams selling AI, developer or data platform products to technical buyers
Time spent as a security practitioner or sales engineer before moving into sales leadership
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$450,000
—
$550,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Kit https://kit.com/ is the email marketing platform experts choose to grow their audience, deepen their relationships, and build a business around the work they love. For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform.
More importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living. We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote.
We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer II to take ownership of a large share of Kit's core infrastructure: databases, Kubernetes, version upgrades, platform tooling, and day-to-day support. You'll also build the paved paths that let engineers, non-engineers, and AI agents test and ship changes safely.
The infrastructure supports creators who depend on Kit to reach their audiences and earn a living. When it's healthy, nobody notices. That's the job.
This is a full-time Individual Contributor role for an experienced infrastructure engineer who likes owning production systems end to end, takes on-call seriously, leans into automation and enjoys making other people's work easier.
YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM
You'll report to Mojtaba Hosseini https://www.linkedin.com/in/mojtaba-hosseini-7a6666/, VP of Engineering at Kit. Day to day, you'll work most closely with Kris Hamoud https://www.linkedin.com/in/kristopher-hamoud-17b34665/ and Ivan Mora Perez https://www.linkedin.com/in/ivan-mora-p%C3%A9rez-ab460b45/.
You'll also partner with product engineers across Kit, and with teams outside engineering who rely on infrastructure to get their work done. Once you're ramped up, you'll join a three-person on-call rotation, which works out to roughly one week in three.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- First Week: Get access to our AWS accounts, Kubernetes clusters, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines. Read through our runbooks and architecture docs. Take part in Get To Know Yous (GTKYs) with Kris, Ivan, and the engineering teams you'll support.
- First Month: Pick up day-to-day infrastructure support requests and start working through them with Kris and Ivan as backup. Ship your first improvement, such as a version upgrade or a fix to a gap in monitoring. Shadow on-call shifts. Write down what you learn along the way, especially the parts that only lived in someone's head or those that can be automated or improved.
- First Six Months: Own core infrastructure areas end to end: databases, Kubernetes, version upgrades, and platform tooling. Take your full share of on-call, which you'll start by the end of your first quarter. Become the go-to person for day-to-day infrastructure questions. Find one recurring source of pages and make it go away. Ship a first paved path, such as a sandbox environment where AI agents or non-engineers can safely build and test changes.
- First Year: You're the primary owner of a large part of Kit's core infrastructure, and you lead projects in it without needing direction. Uptime stays at 99.9% or better, page volume is down, and you've found real cost savings. Your paved paths are in regular use by engineers, non-engineers, and AI agents. You've built observability good enough for AI agents to handle some on-call load. You've documented your decisions so others can build on your work.
WHAT WILL S.E.T. YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
Skills
- Running production infrastructure on AWS at scale, including managed relational databases, networking, and load balancing
- Operating Kubernetes in production: upgrades, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
- Managing infrastructure as code and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that engineers trust
- Building monitoring and alerting that catches real problems early and doesn't page people for noise
- Diagnosing complex, multi-service incidents calmly, then fixing the underlying cause
- Cutting cloud costs through right-sizing and reserved capacity without hurting reliability
- Writing clear runbooks, docs, and decision write-ups
- Nice to have: experience with Cloudflare, ephemeral or sandbox environments, or email sending infrastructure
Experiences
- Around 7 or more years in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Owning production infrastructure for a product where downtime costs customers money
- Carrying a pager for systems you owned, and making that on-call rotation quieter over time
- Leading a major upgrade or migration, such as a database or Kubernetes version upgrade, with little or no customer impact
- Building self-service tooling or paved paths that other engineers actually adopted
- Working on a small infrastructure team where you couldn't hand problems off to a specialist
Traits
- You own what you run. You spot infrastructure debt and fix it without waiting to be asked, and you follow through until it's done.
- You build quality into the work. Upgrades have rollback plans, maintenance windows are planned around customers, and "good enough" is a decision, not a default.
- You leverage AI effectively. AI helps you increase quality and velocity where it matters most. You know when to delegate and when to dive in, while holding accountability.
- You make work easier for everyone else. You'd rather build a tool or write a guide once than answer the same question ten times.
- You teach what you know. You write things down so the next person, or the next AI agent, can build on your work.
- You work in public. You share context and tradeoffs openly, including during incidents and when things go wrong.
- You use AI thoughtfully. It's part of how you work, and you help others adopt it without creating new risks.
- You remember who's on the other end. An outage means a creator's launch email doesn't go out, and that shapes how you prioritize.
WHAT WON'T SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
- Wanting a well-defined backlog handed to you each week. Here, you'll find much of the work yourself and set priorities with Kris.
- Preferring not to be on call. On-call is a core part of this role, shared across a team of three.
- You are skeptical of AI’s capabilities, or conversely use AI without good judgement and accountability.
- Wanting mostly greenfield architecture. A lot of this work is running, upgrading, and improving systems that already exist.
- Needing layers of approval before acting.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We work mostly on East Coast time—so if you're based on the West Coast of the United States, Europe, or Asia, you might have a few early mornings or late evenings. We do our best to keep things reasonable, but a little time zone juggling comes with the territory.
This role is part of a three-person on-call rotation, so during your on-call week you'll need to be able to respond to pages outside your usual working hours.
We believe PTO should always take priority over on-call. We schedule on-call around people's lives, not the other way around. On-call is a shared responsibility, but taking time off should never be a challenge
