An overview of this role
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be a trusted advisor to GitLab customers and prospects in Japan. You'll explain how GitLab's artificial intelligence-powered development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) platform addresses customers' business priorities and technical requirements, helping technical leaders and executives evaluate its value.
You'll translate technology into business value and help customers make informed adoption decisions. The initial sale isn't the end of the relationship: you'll support continued adoption, new use cases, and expansion into additional products and editions, helping increase GitLab consumption through greater customer value.
What you’ll do
Lead structured discovery to understand customer business priorities, development processes, challenges, stakeholders, and success criteria. Connect proposed solutions to business value and return on investment.
Collaborate with Account Executives on account strategies and customer action plans that move opportunities from technical evaluation to contract.
Lead demos, workshops, proofs of concept or value, architecture design, and technical validation, including Linux-based, self-managed, and air-gapped customer environments.
Design roadmaps for DevSecOps and artificial intelligence-enabled development across the software development lifecycle. Address processes, roles, governance, and developer experience. Plan the effort and timelines for migrating continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines from Jenkins to GitLab.
Resolve post-sale adoption challenges with post-sales teams and partners, and identify expansion opportunities across use cases, business units, workloads, products, and editions.
Build relationships with developers and business and technical leaders. Explain GitLab's competitive differentiation and address objections about existing tools, overlapping artificial intelligence capabilities, cost, and migration effort.
Create reusable proposals, architecture diagrams, proof-of-value plans, executive materials, technical content, and success stories. Present at webinars and marketing events to support pipeline development.
Share customer feedback and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. Test GitLab, artificial intelligence, DevSecOps, and cloud technologies hands-on, and mentor team members to share best practices.
What you’ll bring
Experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, consulting, technical sales, or a similar customer-facing role, using structured discovery, value selling, stakeholder mapping, and consensus building.
Practical understanding of the software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, security, and cloud technologies, with experience using GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and developer collaboration platforms.
Experience leading demos, workshops, proofs of concept or value, technical proposals, or solution architecture design, and the ability to discuss deployment, security, and operations with customer technical teams.
The ability to explain technical trade-offs and business value to developers, technical leaders, and executives, and collaborate with Account Executives on opportunity strategy, adoption, and expansion.
Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation and Model Context Protocol, and the ability to discuss their use in artificial intelligence-enabled development.
The ability to mentor team members, share reusable knowledge, and give and receive feedback with empathy and respect for others' expertise.
Fluency in Japanese and professional working proficiency in English.
Helpful but not required: a background in software development, systems integration, or project or product management. Other useful experience includes developer productivity, cloud-native technologies, enterprise platform governance and rollout, post-sales recommendations, consumption-based models, or creating reusable technical content.

At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
Role Overview
Field marketing at Linear is just getting started. Its job is to put us in front of the right people in the right room: executive dinners, conferences, partner events, and programs built with our Customer team around named accounts.
We're hiring our first Field Marketing Manager to take that motion from strategy to execution. You'll own the executive dinner calendar across cities, decide which third-party events and partner programs are worth our time, and build the invitations and follow-up that help our sellers turn a good evening into a real conversation. This is a hands-on role. You'll tap your venue and vendor network, build the run of show for each program, and be on site to run it.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in the United States, with San Francisco or New York preferred. You can work from anywhere within the US. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel. This role involves frequent travel for events, including evenings.
What you’ll do
- Own the executive dinner calendar across cities: pick the city, the venue, the date, and the theme for each dinner
- Build each guest list with our Customer team, equip sellers with invitation sequences, and track RSVPs so every seat goes to someone worth having there
- Manage venues and vendors, negotiate menus and minimums, and keep per-dinner spend, contracts, and travel logistics within budget
- Brief our hosts and executives on who's attending and what we want to learn, be on site to run the night, and hand follow-ups to Sales afterward
- Evaluate conferences and sponsorship offers by audience quality, account coverage, and expected return, then plan how we show up: booth or no booth, side dinners, customer meetings, and speaking slots
- Co-host dinners, workshops, and meetups with partners, and agree up front on guest lists, costs, and who follows up
- Sit with Sales each quarter to pick target accounts, build lightweight formats an AE can request for a key account, and report on attendance, meetings held, pipeline influenced, and feedback from attendees and account owners
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or B2B events, ideally at a software company. Experience in developer tools, SaaS, or another technical product is a plus
- A track record of running dinners, roundtables, or other small-format events end to end, plus experience planning around conferences: sponsorships, side events, and customer meetings
- Experience working next to Sales. You know how to build a target account list, get an AE to care about an event, and tell them afterward what happened
- Strong project management. You can run several cities and events at once without dropping details
- Comfort with budgets, vendor contracts, and a spreadsheet. Hands-on time with HubSpot and event attribution is a plus
- Clear writing and an easy way with senior guests, hosts, and partners. Experience marketing to engineering and product leaders is a bonus
- Experience building an event series from the ground up, including a playbook someone else could run
- Willingness to travel often, including evenings
What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday
- Paid co-working space or desk
- Health coverage (based on country requirements)
- 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays
- 4 months paid parental leave
- Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Remote-first with no required commute

We are looking for a high-impact, proactive
Senior Data Engineer
to join our Data Engineering team in Berlin. In this role, you won't just build pipelines—you will architect the data foundation that powers our next generation of casual games and advanced analytics, and AI-driven workflows. You will be in an environment where you can take full ownership of business outcomes, bridge technical execution with strategy, and proactively identify opportunities to optimize and scale our data transformation journey.
About the job
Data Architecture & Strategy:
Design and build resilient, scalable data infrastructure optimized for analytical workflows, feature stores, real-time context delivery, and AI-ready, well-documented data for agents and LLM applications.
Modern Pipeline Engineering:
Build, maintain, and optimize robust batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using Scala, Python, SQL and dbt.
Data Warehousing & Lakehouse:
Architect clean, cost-efficient, and highly performance schemes across our cloud data warehouse platform on Snowflake.
AI-Enabled Engineering & Agentic Workflows:
Use AI as a daily force multiplier, not only for writing code but across the data lifecycle, from design and documentation to testing, debugging, and incident triage. Design, build, and operate agentic workflows (for example, agents that monitor pipelines, investigate data quality issues, generate and validate dbt models, or answer analysts’ questions against governed data), with proper guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
Quality, Reliability & Governance:
Implement automated testing, observability, and monitoring frameworks to guarantee high data reliability and low latency.
Engineering Excellence & Best Practices:
Follow rigorous CI/CD practices, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), version control, and clear documentation across all data assets.
Cross-Functional Enablement:
Collaborate closely with marketing managers, game teams, product managers, and data analysts to turn ambiguous business needs into high-impact data solutions.
About you
Relevant Experience:
In-depth professional experience as a software engineer or data engineer.
Data Engineering Expertise:
Strong background in senior data engineering roles with advanced proficiency in Python and complex SQL.
Strong Core Programming:
Deep professional experience in a strongly-typed language such as Scala, Java, or Go for building resilient data services.
Modern Stack Mastery:
Practical experience with cloud data platforms (favorable Snowflake), dbt and orchestration tools (we use Airflow).
AI & Agentic Experience:
Hands-on experience applying AI tools in your engineering work and building agentic workflows, including tool use or MCP integrations, orchestration, and evaluation. You know where agents add real value, where human review is essential, and how to keep them reliable, secure, and cost-aware.
Software Engineering Mindset:
Deep familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
Proactive & Impact-Driven:
Autonomous problem solver who evaluates technical decisions based on speed-to-market, business value, and ROI rather than theoretical complexity.
Collaborative Communicator:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical architecture to both engineering peers and business stakeholders.
Please note: Research has shown that some under-represented groups in the gaming industry (eg: women) tend to apply only if they meet every single requirement. Here at Wooga, the desire to learn and the willingness to solve problems are more important to us than your experience on paper. We encourage you to apply even if you do not think that you tick all the boxes - thinking outside of such boxes and embracing the diversity of mindsets and backgrounds is what we believe makes our teams thrive.
Our Promise
Shape the future! Challenge the status quo and team up with a diverse group of experts (over 50 nationalities!) working on crafting the world’s best games.
We offer a generous relocation package and home search support if you are not already located in Berlin. Did we mention that we also cooperate with Kindergartens?
Make use of a significant education budget and extra days off for self-development. Join our meet-ups, talks, brown bag lunches, internal trainings, workshops and many others.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic’s mission is to ensure that the world safely makes the transition through transformative AI. Security is one of the clearest places where that mission plays out: the same capabilities that help attackers move faster can help defenders move faster too, and helping them use those capabilities safely and well is what this team is for. Security teams are among the earliest and most demanding users of frontier AI. They use Claude to review code at scale, find vulnerabilities before attackers do, and work through alert queues their analysts can’t keep up with. Anthropic’s Applied AI organization is building a dedicated Security team to help them do this well, and we are looking for its first leader.
You will build this team from zero. You’ll decide which security customers the team serves first, who you hire and in what order, and how the team works with Sales, Applied AI Engineering, and our security, legal, and trust partners. You’ll also stay hands-on with a few of our most important security customers, because what you learn in those accounts becomes the playbook for everyone else. You’ll also set the standard for how security customers use Claude responsibly, including where a person has to review the output before anyone acts on it.
What you’ll do
Hire, onboard, and develop the first Applied AI Architects on the Security team. Coach senior and early-career architects differently, and give each one clear goals.
Decide where the team spends its time: which segments and account types come first, which deals get architect coverage, and how to say no clearly when demand outruns headcount.
Partner with security account executives on joint account plans, regular pipeline and forecast reviews, and deals where the customer’s security review sets the close date.
Guide customers from discovery through evaluations and proofs of concept with written success criteria. Then take them from one-time code scans to sustained workloads: application security in the development lifecycle, continuous automated penetration testing, alert triage and investigation, and vulnerability and threat intelligence.
Work alongside the security ISVs, systems integrators, and managed security providers already in our customers’ accounts. Keep a clear line between what Anthropic delivers and what partners deliver.
Bring in Applied AI Engineers and our security, legal, and trust teams when a customer’s build or review needs them.
Write the first security playbooks, reference implementations, and evaluation approaches. Bring what you learn back to Product, Engineering, and Research, so Claude becomes more useful and more trustworthy for defenders at the same time.
Carry a small number of strategic security accounts yourself, from executive briefings with CISOs to hands-on workshops with their engineers.
You may be a good fit if you
Have 12+ years of industry experience with at least 4 years managing a team of customer-facing technical people, such as solutions architects, sales engineers, or security consultants, and can show how the team grew and performed under you.
Have hands-on security depth in at least one area, such as application security, detection and response, offensive security, or vulnerability management, deep enough that practitioners trust your judgment
. Application security experience highly preferred.
Have used LLMs for real security work, such as code review, vulnerability discovery, triage, or investigation, and can say where they helped and where they failed.
Have worked large enterprise security deals end to end, including customer security reviews, in close partnership with sales.
Care about making AI both safe and useful for defenders, and can explain security risk and value to a CISO and to the engineers who will run the work, in terms each one cares about.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com will grow you faster than you expect - the deals, the pace, and the people demand it. If you've ever felt a role never let you show what you're truly capable of, this is the opposite problem: meaningful deals with some of the UK's and the world's biggest brands, real autonomy, and no ceiling on what you can take on.
You'll join the Solutions team in London and own the technical side of deals from first conversation to go-live. Pre-sale, you're front and centre: positioning the platform, building demos and POCs, winning over the merchant's engineers and architects while your Account Executive drives the commercial thread. Once the deal is ready, the weight shifts: our Implementation Engineers lead the build and you stay close, so your designs survive contact with reality.
You'll work on a modern, fast-moving platform with docs that answer your questions, alongside one of the strongest commercial teams in payments.
People who do well here are curious by default: they pull threads, teach themselves what the job needs next, and act before anyone asks. If that's how you work, you'll like it here.
What you will be doing:
- Support the commercial team to position Checkout.com http://Checkout.com's products, solutions, and services - and win deals. You'll be a key partner to Account Executives on product, payments, regulation, and tech.
- Understand merchant requirements and technical needs, map them to our APIs and products, create solution designs and internal documentation.
- Run demos, build "show-me" payment flows, create POCs, customise and create presentations.
- Provide thought leadership on all aspects of Payment Performance - Acceptance Rate, Fraud Prevention, Tokenisation, Payment Methods, and others.
- Lead all technical interactions with merchants - chats, calls, meetings, and workshops - from first contact through go-live, partnering with our Implementation Engineers during integration.
- Support the BID management team with RFP and RFI responses.
- Enable internal functions, commercial and tech, with market and merchant feedback on product capabilities. Champion product change and improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, solutions, and tech.
- Be an expert on Checkout.com http://Checkout.com's platform and products.
About You:
If the list below looks like you, apply.
Experience
- 2+ years as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, Implementation Engineer, or TAM. At a PSP or payments company is a bonus.
- Merchant-side counts too: checkout engineering, an in-house payments team, a payments product role.
- Experience in a technical, client-facing role.
Payments and technical skills
We need real depth in one of the two areas below and the appetite to close the gap on the other. If payments is your strength, this job will make you more technical, you'll need to want that. Strong coder lighter on payments: payments can be taught, you'll have time.
Payments:
- Understanding of the end-to-end payment flow and the industry's rules, regulations, and schemes.
- Experience with 3DS, Network Tokenisation, Apple/Google Pay, APMs, Open Banking, or fraud-risk engines.
Tech:
- You can code and you're comfortable with web technologies - payments run on the web. At least one front-end (JavaScript, React, Angular) or back-end (Java, .NET, Python, Node) language.
- Familiar with API-based integration (REST/JSON, Postman); can reproduce, isolate, and explain issues using logs, API responses, and tests.
How you work
- Clear written and verbal English; equally at home with developers and product teams as with payments, finance, and C-level stakeholders.
- Commercially minded: you talk revenue, volume, and pricing, not just APIs, and push deals forward without being asked.
- Highly organised; able to prioritise shifting workloads.
Nice to have:
- Previous exposure to RFI/RFP processes.
- Familiarity with PSD2/PSD3/PSR, FCA, ISO-8583.
- An additional language.
- Former engineering, developer, or product manager background.
- Prior roles in the e-commerce industry.
Not sure whether to apply?
Build a working payment demo using our public docs at docs.checkout.com http://docs.checkout.com and send it to kate.moore@checkout.com. A working demo tells us more than a perfect CV.
