About You
You are proactive, reliable, and enjoy helping people solve problems. You are highly organized, eager to learn, and comfortable supporting both technical and non-technical teams. You enjoy being hands-on, can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and are willing to take ownership of day-to-day operational tasks to help keep the office and systems running smoothly.
About the Role
We are looking for a Web3 Licensing and Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support client delivery and develop our Web3 regulatory services. You will work with our InfoSec and Compliance Lead and CertiK specialists across cybersecurity, AML, product, and engineering to turn regulatory requirements into practical plans, application materials, and controls. The role combines client assignments with regulatory research and internal development for crypto-asset service providers, virtual asset service providers, token issuers, and other digital-asset businesses in the European Union, the United Arab Emirates, and other priority jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
Client Delivery
Deliver Web3 regulatory advisory projects, including licensing and authorisation readiness, gap assessments, compliance reviews, and implementation support for CASPs, VASPs, token issuers, and other digital-asset businesses.
Help clients translate regulatory requirements into practical governance, AML and CFT, cybersecurity, technology, and operational controls, drawing on CertiK's wider expertise.
Support application-related work by coordinating key materials, evidence, stakeholders, and responses to regulators, particularly for European Union and United Arab Emirates processes.
Present clear findings and recommendations in reports and workshops, and manage delivery across agreed scope, timelines, and follow-up actions.
Regulatory Research and Internal Product and Service Development
Monitor and analyse Web3 regulation and supervisory expectations across priority jurisdictions, with particular attention to the European Union and the United Arab Emirates.
Turn regulatory research and client experience into reusable methods, templates, control mappings, knowledge materials, and new or updated regulatory service offerings.
Work with CertiK's cybersecurity, AML, product, and engineering teams to develop and improve compliance tools and workflows, including requirements definition, regulatory content, and testing.
Use market developments and client feedback to identify opportunities to improve our tools and services and make delivery more consistent and scalable.
Requirements
Strong match:
Hands-on experience supporting a Web3 licensing or authorisation process for a CASP, VASP, token issuer, or similar digital-asset business. Direct application experience under MiCA, VARA, ADGM FSRA, DFSA, or another European Union or United Arab Emirates regime is especially valuable.
Experience:
Two to four years in digital-asset regulatory compliance, financial-services licensing, legal or compliance operations, consulting, or a related role.
Web3 knowledge:
Practical understanding of blockchain networks, wallets, custody, exchanges, transfers, token issuance, stablecoins, and common digital-asset business models.
Regulatory knowledge:
Working knowledge of governance, operational risk, consumer protection, technology, cybersecurity, and/or AML requirements relevant to digital-asset firms.
Writing and delivery:
Ability to interpret regulation, map obligations to controls, produce clear documentation, and coordinate contributors, evidence, dependencies, and deadlines.
Communication and collaboration:
Professional written and spoken English and the ability to work with clients, subject-matter experts, senior management, and regulators in a distributed team with reliable overlap with CET and CEST business hours.
Additional qualifications:
A relevant legal, compliance, risk, accounting, or information-security qualification or certification, or additional European or Middle Eastern language skills, is an advantage.
What We Offer
Remote work:
Work remotely from Europe or a nearby time zone, with regular overlap with European business hours.
Competitive compensation:
A competitive base salary plus equity or token options where applicable.
Professional growth:
Direct exposure to EU, UAE, and global digital-asset authorisation projects, with support to deepen your Web3 regulatory expertise.

An overview of this role
As an Engineering Manager, Gitaly at GitLab, you'll guide a deeply technical team focused on building, maintaining, and providing expertise on Gitaly, GitLab's Git data storage tier. The team's work spans development of Gitaly, support for teams across GitLab, new tooling, scalability improvements, new data formats, and ongoing maintenance of the Gitaly codebase.
This role is a good fit for you if you can guide senior and staff engineers through complex, long-horizon technical work while building a culture of technical rigor, clear accountability, and ownership. You'll help the team balance roadmap delivery with GitLab product and infrastructure priorities, especially as much of the team's work is centered on scaling Git storage and adjacent foundational work. Clear written communication and thoughtful technical judgment are central to how this team succeeds.
Project areas include:
Scaling Git storage
Gitaly-related infrastructure and foundational performance work
What you’ll do
Manage a team of senior and staff engineers working on Gitaly and Gitaly-related infrastructure.
Build a team culture where technical rigor, clear accountability, and ownership are the norm.
Drive execution on complex, long-horizon work across performance, scalability, maintainability, and core Gitaly architecture.
Guide the team in balancing roadmap delivery with GitLab product and infrastructure priorities.
Support your engineers' growth through feedback, mentoring, career development, and stretch opportunities.
Foster strong written communication and asynchronous alignment across a fully distributed team.
Partner with teams like Git and other stakeholders who rely on Gitaly expertise for performance, feature design, and roadmap clarity.
Represent the team credibly with cross-functional partners and in stakeholder conversations about Gitaly direction, performance, and scalability.
What you’ll bring
Experience managing engineering teams with direct reports, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
A management philosophy centered on building engineer agency and ownership, with credibility grounded in consistency, follow-through, and technical judgment.
Proven ability to guide highly specialized engineers through ambiguity, structured debate, high-stakes technical tradeoffs, and the realities of operating a service that is critical to GitLab.
Strong written communication and remote, asynchronous collaboration skills across distributed, multi-timezone teams. You're comfortable moving work forward in documents, issue threads, and asynchronous reviews, not just in meetings.
A track record of delivering under pressure on ambiguous, long-horizon technical projects with clear outcomes, and of reasoning from fundamentals about maintainability, technical debt, and long-term platform viability.
Hands-on background in version control systems, distributed systems, storage engines, or other low-level infrastructure domains, with the ability to engage credibly with systems code and architecture, ideally in Go or similarly performance-sensitive environments.
About the team
On the Gitaly team, we build, maintain, and provide expertise on Gitaly, GitLab's Git data storage tier. Our core work includes development of Gitaly, supporting teams across GitLab, and ensuring the long-term viability of the project. We are a deeply technical team that balances long-running technical work with practical delivery. Strong collaboration with partner teams is central to how we succeed.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

- Type of Contract: Permanent
- Working model: On-site
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
Why this role matters:
As an Electrical AIT Engineer, you own the electrical/avionics side of production at ICEYE end to end -- integration, debugging, continuous improvement, and adapting processes as new designs come through. You will lead satellite-level verification and validation campaigns for power, propulsion, GNC, GPS, and CDH/OBC subsystems, integrate electrical hardware with satellite systems, and own functional and system-health testing to ensure flight readiness. - Test and validate the hardware/software interface -- telemetry and telecommand behavior, CDH bus interfaces, and OBC-driven subsystem responses -- without owning flight software development or debugging, which sits with the Software AIT team
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance efficiency, repeatability, and coverage across functional and environmental test campaigns
- Act as primary technical contact for electrical-related integration issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating with power/propulsion/GNC engineering to resolve anomalies
- Support production readiness and design reviews (PRR, CDR) by providing feedback on software testability, hardware-in-the-loop requirements, and system configuration
- Contribute to and improve AIT documentation including RF test procedures, integration plans, and configuration records
- Interface with Global AIT, Power/Propulsion/GNC Engineering, and Mission Operations teams to ensure alignment on product standards and lessons learned
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in integration methods, test efficiency, and build reliability
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical/avionics integration, testing, or production of complex systems, preferably in aerospace or high-reliability hardware industries

- Hands-on experience with anechoic chamber testing (antenna pattern measurement, radiated performance verification)
- Working proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments with a focus on system-level validation
- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, environmental testing (EMC, vibration, thermal), and configuration management
- Systems engineering mindset -- able to anticipate integration risks and connect RF performance, hardware interfaces, and mission operations
- Proficient English (written and spoken) for cross-functional collaboration
Nice to haves:
Experience with Atlassian Cloud tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Track record of enabling design-for-testability (DFT) and design-for-manufacturing (DFM)
- Lean and Six Sigma experience
- Experience with SAR payload calibration or comms link-budget analysis beyond routine test execution
- Experience writing or improving Python test scripts beyond routine execution
- Proficient Japanese (written and spoken)
Application Process
- Talent Acquisition Interview
- Hiring Manager General Interview
- Technical Interview, including a Technical Challenge
- Final Interview
