The role
You own operational procurement for a defined commodity/category of components end-to-end — from purchase order to component delivered to our factory, on time, in the right quantity and at the agreed quality. Because we run our own production across several manufacturing locations, you are the day-to-day single point of contact with your suppliers and the link between them and our Planning, Quality, Logistics and Finance teams.
We move fast, and our scope keeps growing and changing. We expect a strong getting-things-done attitude and hands-on. Own your issues end-to-end, stay close to the detail, and close them.
Key responsibilities:
Full order management, expedite / de-expedite and drive OTIF ≥ 97 % for your category (e.g., passive components, PCBs, semiconductors, mechanicals, plastics, raw materials, radio modules).
Manage shortages and escalations end-to-end; keep production running across our sites and stakeholders informed.
Own the day-to-day cost of your category — recommend solutions that optimise cost without compromising quality or delivery.
Visit suppliers and production sites as needed — including urgent cases and primary/quality inspections — to understand the process and strengthen good results and cooperation.
Uphold integrity in all supplier dealings — transparent, fair and free of conflicts of interest.
Drive process improvements and digitalisation within your scope.
What we expect:
8+ years as Commodity Buyer / Operational Buyer / Procurement Specialist in a manufacturing environment — ideally supplying components to in-house production.
Solid command of the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process and a confident user of an ERP system + Excel
English at B2 level for daily work with international stakeholders across our manufacturing locations.
Ability to manage several projects and priorities at the same time, identifying problems and driving them to a result.
Strong getting-things-done attitude: ownership, sense of urgency, hands-on involvement, structured problem-solving, and flexibility for a growing and changing scope.
Willingness to travel to suppliers and production sites as required.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or similar); a technical degree is a plus.
Hands-on SAP experience — a strong plus as we evaluate it for our procurement landscape.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Master’s degree in finance, engineering, or supply-chain / foreign-economic-activity.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Descript is at an inflection point. We have 50M+ users, genuine product-market fit, and a real opportunity to move upmarket—converting high-fit self-serve users into consolidated enterprise contracts and going after the accounts that belong in our pipeline. As Head of Enterprise Marketing, you'll own that motion end-to-end.
This is a builder role for someone who's done it before: someone who can meticulously understand what's driving inbound interest, identify which accounts to go after and why, and design the campaigns, lifecycle plays, and conversion experiments to bring them in. You'll co-own upmarket pipeline with Sales, partner with Product on the self-serve-to-enterprise conversion motion, and partner with our in-house Growth/Paid team and RevOps to make sure the whole system is instrumented and accountable.
The raw materials are here—a passionate user community, a strong product, and a large market. This hire shapes what we do with them upmarket.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Pipeline Strategy & Execution
Co-own upmarket pipeline targets with Sales, with shared accountability for sourced and influenced pipeline
Build and execute an enterprise demand playbook: ICP definition, target account selection, channel mix, offer strategy, and campaign design and execution
Develop a vertical prioritization framework: define which industries and enterprise segments to pursue, in what order, and with what message
Design account-based programs with messaging and experiences calibrated to high-fit accounts
Own and maintain an annual marketing calendar that aligns campaign activity to business milestones, seasonal growth opportunities, and pipeline targets
Source and manage contract and agency resources as needed
Self-Serve to Enterprise Conversion
Partner with Product and Sales to identify high-fit self-serve buyers and design conversion experiments that move them toward consolidated contracts
Build lifecycle plays that nurture individual users into team and enterprise buyers
Develop and iterate on the plays, offers, and sequences that convert product-qualified accounts into pipeline
Performance & Measurement
Meticulously track which channels, plays, and offers are driving inbound interest and conversions, and use that intelligence to sharpen programs continuously
Build AI-first marketing ops and measurement frameworks that give the team real visibility into what's working
Report regularly on pipeline contribution, channel efficiency, and program performance
Sales & Cross-functional Partnership
Partner daily with Sales on account priorities, ABM strategy, and pipeline reviews
Brief and align with the in-house paid advertising team on enterprise-targeted campaigns
Co-own enterprise lifecycle with RevOps, ensuring accountability is clear and programs are coordinated
Own the strategy for high-touch deal acceleration programs—things like executive roundtables and leadership-level events—partnering with Field Marketing on execution
Contribute to enterprise pricing and packaging strategy alongside Product and Sales, with an eye toward what moves deals forward and expands accounts
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years building or scaling an upmarket or enterprise demand motion
Experience at a PLG or product-led company—you understand the self-serve-to-enterprise conversion motion and have driven it
Consumer-to-B2B crossover experience; you know how to market to users who are also buyers
Strong analytical skills and a track record of building measurement frameworks that actually get used
Experience co-owning pipeline targets with Sales in an accountable, collaborative way
Preferred Qualifications
Deep familiarity with modern ABM tooling and CRM/MAP integration
Experience building, or deeply partnering with, AI-native marketing ops and workflows
Background in SaaS, media tech, or creative tooling
Demonstrated ability to design and run conversion experiments across PLG funnels
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE
Within your first 12 months, you will:
Launch Descript's enterprise demand motion, with a defined ICP, target account list, vertical prioritization framework, and multi-channel playbook
Co-own and hit upmarket pipeline targets in partnership with Sales
Build upon the existing self-serve-to-enterprise conversion experiments with Product, with measurable account progression
Build a measurement framework that gives the team clear visibility into channel performance, conversion rates, and pipeline attributionCreate and maintain a formal marketing calendar that the broader team runs off of
Establish a functioning enterprise lifecycle program with RevOps
Run at least one high-touch deal acceleration program (EBC, roundtable, or CxO event) in partnership with Field Marketing
The base salary range for this role is $180k - $230k/year. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, level, and may vary from the amount above.

Benefits include a generous healthcare package, 401k matching program, catered lunches, and flexible vacation time.
Our headquarters
are located in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA. We're hiring for a mix of remote roles and hybrid roles. For those who are remote, we have a handful of opportunities throughout the year for in person collaboration. For our hybrid roles, we're flexible, and you're an adult—we don't expect or mandate that you're in the office every day. We do believe there are valuable and serendipitous moments of discovery and collaboration that come from working together in person.
Descript is an equal opportunity workplace—we are dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status. Location: San Francisco, CA
About the Role
Our vision is to build the next generation platform to enable easy and fast creation of audio and video content powered by cutting-edge AI. Building a revolutionary way to record, transcribe, edit, and mix spoken audio and video comes with a series of unique challenges and requires solving hard and complex problems.
As more marketing, communications, sales, support, and creative teams adopt Descript, we're investing in the experiences that help people discover what's possible with our product - and connect with the people behind it.
We're looking for our first Field Marketing Manager to build that program from the ground up.
This is a builder role. You'll define how Descript shows up in the real world, creating experiences that introduce new audiences to Descript, deepen relationships with customers, and generate pipeline for our growing enterprise business. From executive dinners and industry events to customer meetups, partner activations, and hands-on workshops, you'll create programs that people actually want to attend.
You'll work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Brand to develop field marketing into a repeatable, measurable growth engine.
If you're energized by building from scratch, love bringing people together, and enjoy balancing strategy with execution, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do
Build Descript's field marketing strategy from the ground up, including planning, processes, measurement, and annual programming.
Develop and execute integrated field marketing programs that generate pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.
Own end-to-end execution of in-person and virtual experiences, including executive dinners, workshops, conferences, customer events, roadshows, webinars, and community gatherings.
Partner closely with Enterprise Sales to identify priority accounts, align programs to territory plans, and create experiences that help move deals forward.
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Generation, Partnerships, and Customer Success to create cohesive campaigns before, during, and after every event.
Build playbooks for event planning, sales engagement, lead follow-up, reporting, and program operations that can scale as the team grows.
Manage budgets, vendors, agencies, venues, and logistics while creating thoughtful attendee experiences that reflect the Descript brand.
Measure and communicate program impact across pipeline, revenue influence, customer engagement, and qualitative feedback to help shape future investments.
Represent Descript at industry events and build authentic relationships with customers, prospects, creators, and partners.
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with 2+ years of field marketing or event experience. Also open to 4+ years of events agency experience (especially if you have worked with B2B clients).
You've built programs, not just executed them. You enjoy creating structure where it doesn't yet exist.
Experience partnering closely with Sales to drive pipeline and revenue outcomes.
Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail—you can manage dozens of moving pieces without losing sight of the bigger picture.
You're equally comfortable developing a strategy, negotiating with a venue, reviewing event signage, and presenting results to leadership.
You use data to make decisions and know how to measure marketing impact beyond registration numbers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a bias toward action.
Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving startup environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 25–35%.
Bonus points if you have
Experience marketing SaaS products to marketing, communications, creative, or enterprise teams.
Experience building a field marketing function or launching a new program.
Experience with account-based marketing strategies.
Experience producing workshops or educational experiences—not just traditional events.
A genuine appreciation for storytelling, video, podcasts, AI, or the creative process.
What success looks like
After your first year, you've:
Built the foundation for a scalable field marketing program at Descript.
Established trusted partnerships with Sales and cross-functional marketing teams.
Created a repeatable calendar of experiences that customers look forward to attending.
Developed playbooks that make planning, execution, and follow-up more effective every quarter.
Demonstrated measurable impact on enterprise pipeline, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
Helped define what "field marketing" means at Descript—not by copying another company's playbook, but by creating one that fits ours.
The base salary range for this role is $145k - $160k/year. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, level, and may vary from the amount above.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity and we would be interested in applications from the UK.
The Opportunity:
The Grafana Alerting squad operates at the core of the Grafana open-source project
(link)
, and our mission is to provide the most in-depth way to let users manage their alerts. The backend-focused team works closely with customers and the Grafana Cloud teams to make Alerting work on-prem and at infinite scale in Cloud. The team's scope spans both Grafana Alerting and the SLOs product, so engineers get to work across two products that are deeply connected in how they help users detect and respond to problems.
Grafana Alerting is trusted by major organizations worldwide, monitoring essential medical devices and critical infrastructure. We thrive on collective creativity and diverse perspectives, every team member is encouraged to contribute ideas that shape our product into a dependable tool.
Our domain is quite large, so to get an idea of the kind of work we do, here are some projects we recently worked on:
Build distributed systems to scale alert ingestion and delivery of Prometheus-based alerts
Unify Alerting setup and delivery to work the same for Grafana and Prometheus-based alerts
Build distributed systems to scale alert evaluation of Grafana-managed alerts, reaching over 500 evaluations per second in production.
Grafana Alerting is trusted by major organizations worldwide, monitoring essential medical devices and critical infrastructure. We thrive on collective creativity and diverse perspectives, every team member is encouraged to contribute ideas that shape our product into a dependable tool.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives
Work with your team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve.
Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers
Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope
Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and availability
Be a part of your team’s on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you’re running
Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team
Learn new skills by gaining a deeper understanding of our cloud product and our customers and getting to know the codebase of a large distributed system
As we are remote-first and our engineering organization is largely remote, we provide guidance and meet regularly using video calls, so an independent attitude and good communication skills are a must.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
You are a motivated self starter with a bias towards action
You are customer focused
We build everything with our users in mind.
You have a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customers’ needs
Pragmatism: You are able to take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve short feedback loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback and then progress iteratively
Collaboration and communication: The smallest unit we have is a team. You’ll be working with your teammates in a fully remote setup. Good communication skills are a must
Solid experience with at least one programming language. We use Go, but if you have familiarity with Python, Java, C++, Rust or similar then that translates well
Some experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, brainstorming ideas all the way to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way
Some experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud
or
some experience with systems engineering
Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others

Meet Arago and the Aragonians Arago is an AI and computer hardware company whose mission is to drive the course of history forward. We do so by accelerating breakthroughs at the intersection of AI and semiconductors. Founded in 2024 by AI researchers and physicists with deep expertise in photonics, electronics, software, mathematics, and machine learning, Arago brings together a lean team of engineers and scientists from the world’s top companies and research labs. Composed of nine nationalities and operating from hubs in France, North America, and Israel, we believe in great science and fast achievements. Our work is guided by these core principles: Do great things: we deliver work we’re proud to sign our name to. High velocity: speed matters. We move quickly, one step at a time. One unit: we’re all in this together, with relationships grounded in trust, respect, and camaraderie. Arago is backed by executives from Apple, Arm, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Hugging Face, as well as prominent US and European deeptech venture firms and exited founders.
What you’ll do
As a Senior AI/ML Scientist, you will work at the intersection of modern AI models, numerical precision, and novel computing architectures. Your mission will be to develop the methods that allow AI models to run accurately, efficiently, and reliably on Arago’s computing system. This position combines strong quantization and “digital twin” aspects: understanding how frontier models tolerate reduced precision, defining the right numerical formats and quantization strategies, and building software representations of the processor to model the physical effects that impact AI model accuracy. This role is both scientific and practical. You will help shape the bridge between AI models and Arago’s hardware.
Required Skills and Experience
Background in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Strong interest and skills in applied mathematics and statistics. Strong experience with quantization of machine learning and AI models. Strong understanding of modern model architectures, including language models, diffusion models, video generation models, and/or world models. Experience studying the impact of numerical precision, noise, or approximation on model accuracy. Experience with inference performance optimization. Good knowledge of computer architecture, GPU architecture, or parallel computing. Ability to build rigorous experimentation pipelines and translate research insights into practical engineering decisions. GitHub profile with recent and relevant projects. Language: English at a proficient level. French is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop Arago’s quantization strategy for modern AI models, including precision studies, numerical format exploration, and model-level techniques to preserve accuracy under constrained precision. Study the impact of analog noise on the performance and inference accuracy of machine learning models, including language models, diffusion, video generation, and world models. Develop simulation tools to model analog behavior with minimal computational overhead. Build and maintain Arago's internal experimentation pipelines for precision and performance studies on both physical and emulated prototypes. Act as a technical point of contact between clients and Arago: analyze, port, and optimize client models onto Arago hardware, balancing throughput and accuracy. Collaborate with the software and digital architecture teams to support architectural enhancements based on the operator content of frontier model architectures.
Pay and benefits
Competitive cash compensation, with final package based on location, experience, and the pay of team members in similar positions. Meaningful stock option plan offered at the earliest stage of the company (included in the majority of full time offers). We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
This role will focus on evaluating data science and coding tasks, requiring you to review and debug code, analyze model trajectories, and assess data visualization script development and logical flow implementation. Your work will contribute to our model development efforts and the logic our models apply when completing task requests.
Please note: This is a part-time independent contractor position available within Canada. We seek candidates who are able to commit to 16 hours per week minimum at a 40 CAD/hour contract rate. This role is BYOD 💻 - Bring Your Own Device (laptop). Remote work within Canada. 12 month contract.
As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will:
- Evaluate the model's ability to respond to coding requests, workflows, and code base-related questions using available tools.
- Assess agent trajectories and model capabilities for code generation, tabular and graphic manipulation, and debugging requests.
- Prompt models to complete complex data science tasks and review the accuracy of generated responses.
- Label, proofread, and improve machine-written and human-written software engineering-related outputs.
- Report quality and performance trends related to model/agent behaviour and project assignments.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Exceptional data analysis and visualization skills.

- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Python and industry-standard data science packages (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, sqlite, or others).
- Strong understanding of SQL syntax writing and workflows; and a deep familiarity with file/data formats, such as markdown, JSON, XML, YAML, and HTML.
- Prior experience re-writing, proofreading, and delivering feedback on code.
- Familiarity with code agents (OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex) or evaluating agent trajectories is a plus.
The Candidate Journey:
- Initial Screening: Our Talent Team will review your application.
- First Assessment: If selected to move forward, you’ll receive a multiple-choice assessment by email.
- Second Assessment: Candidates who achieve a passing score will be contacted by a member of our team to complete a more comprehensive assessment focused on their area of expertise.
- Video Screen: If selected to move forward, you’ll have a short video call with a member of our Operations Team.
- Final: Selected candidates will receive an Independent Contractor Agreement.
As an independent contractor, you maintain control over how you complete your work and may work with multiple clients simultaneously. We request that you declare any external work relationships with Cohere’s direct competitors and always maintain the IP confidentiality of the Cohere project. Independent contractors are not eligible for health benefits or other benefits provided to employees. Compensation for services is provided to contractors by self-invoicing for services provided pursuant to the terms of our agreement with the contractor.
It is important to understand that, as an independent contractor, continuous work is not guaranteed. The client-contractor relationship is fundamentally project-based, meaning engagements may be temporary, periodic, or intermittent based on our organizational needs and project availability. As an independent contractor, you should anticipate fluctuations in workflow and, therefore, compensation for services when Cohere does not require as many hours of services in a week.
Prospective candidates, please be advised: this role involves working with human-generated and model-generated tasks that may involve exposure to not safe for work (NSFW) text content as part of data annotation tasks, including explicit, offensive, or other inappropriate material.
If the above qualifications do not perfectly align with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form, and we will work together to meet your needs.

We may then invite you to submit a video interview for the review of the hiring manager. This video interview is often followed by a test or short project that allows us to determine whether you will be a good fit for the team.
