About the Role
We're looking for a Staff Engineer to own the smart wallet and account abstraction layer of Xsolla's Web3 platform. This is an individual contributor role with outsized technical scope: you'll be the technical anchor for how millions of players get an on-chain account they never have to think about — setting direction, making hard architectural calls, and raising the bar across the org.
Concretely, you'll own the account model behind Xsolla ZK, our zkSync-based L2, and the wallet that sits inside Xsolla App. Every player who signs in with Xsolla ID receives a deterministic, non-custodial smart account — derived from their identity claim, identical on every device, with private keys that never leave the client. That account is not a separate "wallet" screen: it is the player's inventory, and it backs minting, gifting, trading on our Bazaar marketplace, Merkle-based reward airdrops, gas sponsorship, and an in-app dApp browser that exposes the same signer to third-party applications through an EIP-1193 provider. You'll own the primitives underneath all of it: the ERC-4337 user operation lifecycle, EIP-7702 delegation, session keys and origin-bound Smart Sessions, paymaster and gas abstraction strategy, and the custody and recovery roadmap — including the move from raw key export to MPC custody.
You will own the strategy behind account abstraction, signing, and session management at scale, and evolve our smart account and permissioning model to meet both product and compliance needs. You operate with significant autonomy, but your decisions ripple across teams — so you'll spend real time building buy-in with engineering, product, security, and legal stakeholders, not just designing in isolation.
You are technically deep, calm under pressure, and comfortable being the escalation point when production wallet issues get hard — because in this domain, "hard" means a stuck user operation, a drained paymaster, or a signing prompt a player didn't understand. You write the RFCs and design docs that people actually read, and you create leverage for the broader engineering org through documentation, tooling, and mentorship — without needing a management title to do it.
Responsibilities
Own Smart Wallet & AA Architecture
— Own the technical strategy and architecture of our smart wallet platform, covering the account model, signing, session management, and gas abstraction at scale.
Design the Account & Signing Model
— Design and evolve our ERC-4337 user operation lifecycle (prepare → sign → submit → confirm), EIP-7702 delegation, deterministic address derivation from identity, and the session-key and permission primitives that let players act without a prompt on every transaction.
Own Gas Abstraction
— Set the paymaster and gas-sponsorship strategy: what we sponsor, how we meter and cap it, how we defend it from abuse, and how it degrades when sponsorship is unavailable.
Harden the dApp-Facing Surface
— Own the security model where our signer meets third-party applications: EIP-1193 / EIP-6963 provider behavior, origin-bound and policy-versioned sessions, trust tiers, and the transaction and signature confirmation flow. Define what a player is actually approving, and make sure the UI can prove it.
Drive Custody & Recovery
— Lead the custody roadmap from today's interim mechanisms toward MPC-based custody, and design recovery paths (passkeys, guardians, social recovery) that a non-crypto-native player can complete without losing assets.
Drive Cross-Team Technical Decisions
— Drive decisions on account architecture, SDK contracts, data modeling, and platform reliability, and build buy-in across the wallet, marketplace, SDK, mobile, and security teams.
De-Risk Proactively
— Identify systemic risks — key management, signature phishing, reorgs and indexer staleness, bundler and RPC dependencies, contract upgrade paths — and lead initiatives to resolve them before they become incidents.
Set Engineering Standards
— Define engineering standards, review critical code, contracts, and designs, and create leverage for the team through documentation, tooling, and mentorship.
Align with Stakeholders
— Collaborate with product, security, legal, and infra teams to align on roadmap and translate business and regulatory needs into well-scoped technical plans.
Own Production Escalations
— Serve as the go-to escalation point for complex production issues in the wallet and account abstraction domain.
What You Bring
Account Abstraction & Smart Wallets
ERC-4337 Depth
— Deep, hands-on understanding of ERC-4337: EntryPoint (v0.6 through v0.8), the UserOperation lifecycle, bundler and paymaster roles, validation rules (ERC-7562), gas estimation and its failure modes, counterfactual deployment, and signature validation for undeployed accounts (ERC-6492).
EIP-7702 & the Post-Pectra Landscape
— Working knowledge of EOA delegation, its interaction with ERC-4337 EntryPoint v0.8, and the trade-offs and risks it introduces (residual key authority, delegation phishing, storage collisions).
Smart Account Implementations
— Experience building on or extending production smart account implementations (Safe, Kernel, Biconomy, Coinbase Smart Wallet, or equivalent), and familiarity with modular account standards (ERC-7579 / ERC-6900).
Session Keys & Delegated Permissions
— Experience designing scoped, time-limited, policy-bound authority: session keys with TTL and contract allowlists, origin binding, permission revocation, and delegated-permission standards (ERC-7710 / ERC-7715).
Signature Schemes & Wallet Interfaces
— Practical command of EIP-712 typed data, ERC-1271 contract signatures, WebAuthn / passkey (P-256) signers, and the wallet-facing standards: EIP-1193, EIP-6963, EIP-5792 batched calls, ERC-7677 paymaster interfaces.
Production Wallet Experience
— Experience designing or operating a production smart wallet or account abstraction system serving real users and real value.
Production Crypto Track Record
Scale in a Major Crypto Organization
— Substantial engineering experience at a large crypto product or protocol organization — for example Coinbase, Kraken, Base, Safe, the Ethereum Foundation, Consensys / MetaMask — or a comparable wallet, exchange, or account-abstraction infrastructure team where wallet correctness and custody were core to the product.
Operational Judgment Under Value at Risk
— You have shipped and operated systems where a bug meant lost funds, and you can talk concretely about the guardrails, reviews, and rollback paths you put in place.
Smart Contracts & EVM
Solidity & EVM Fluency
— Ability to read, review, and write account, paymaster, and module contracts; gas-aware design; upgradeability and migration patterns; working effectively with external auditors.
L2 Specifics
— Understanding of L2 execution differences and how they affect wallet design: native account abstraction on zkSync-family chains, transaction and fee models, finality and reorg behavior, and RPC and indexer semantics.
Backend Engineering
Go Engineering
— Strong Go (Golang) engineering skills: idiomatic code, concurrency patterns, performance profiling.
TypeScript & SDK Design
— Ability to design and own client-side SDK surfaces in TypeScript that other engineering teams — internal and external — build on top of.
Distributed Systems
— Experience with distributed systems and their trade-offs (consistency, availability, failure modes), and with reconciling off-chain state against an authoritative on-chain result.
Data & Infrastructure
PostgreSQL
— Schema design, query optimization, migrations at scale.
Kubernetes
— Deploying, operating, and debugging services in a k8s environment.
Message Streaming
— Kafka or NATS — event-driven patterns, consumer groups, at-least-once delivery.
Git & CI/CD
— Git and modern CI/CD practices.
Security
Key Management
— Hands-on experience with key material in production: platform secure storage (Keychain / Keystore), HSMs, MPC or threshold signing, and the operational discipline around each.
Wallet Threat Modeling
— Solid grasp of the wallet attack surface: signature and delegation phishing, malicious dApp origins, replay and cross-chain replay, token approval abuse, and paymaster griefing and DoS.
Leadership
Cross-Team Initiative Leadership
— Proven ability to lead multi-quarter technical initiatives across teams.
Architectural Influence
— Track record of influencing architecture and standards beyond your immediate team.
Written & Verbal Communication
— You write RFCs and design docs that people actually read.
Nice to Have
Experience working in the video game industry, building or operating platforms for game developers, publishers, or players
Hands-on experience with the zkSync / Elastic Chain ecosystem (ZKsync OS, Matter Labs stack, native AA and paymaster flows, custom L2 operations)
Experience with embedded and ecosystem wallet providers or AA infrastructure vendors (thirdweb, Privy, Dynamic, Turnkey, Pimlico, Alchemy, Biconomy, ZeroDev, Safe{Core}) — and clear views on where to build versus buy
Experience with MPC / threshold custody, social recovery, or guardian-based recovery in a consumer product
Experience with NFT and token infrastructure at scale: ERC-721 / ERC-1155 / ERC-20 mechanics, marketplace contracts, Merkle-based airdrop and claim distribution, chain indexing services
Contributions to open-source wallet, security, or identity projects — including authorship or review of ERC / EIP standards
Familiarity with compliance requirements relevant to crypto consumer products: KYC / AML, geofencing, MiCA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR data minimization, audit logging
Experience with identity and auth integration for wallet derivation (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, JWT verification, token scoping)
Background in platform or infrastructure engineering — building systems other engineers build on top of
Experience owning a mobile wallet surface (React Native / Expo, WebView provider injection, native signing UI)
Hands-on, up-to-date experience with modern AI tools (e.g. Claude, Copilot, Cursor) for code generation, review, and accelerating day-to-day engineering work
How We Work
Xsolla operates across multiple time zones, and the smart wallet underpins identity, ownership, and value transfer for every Web3 product we ship. Strong written communication is essential — your architectural decisions and designs need to stand on their own and be actionable without you in the room.
We value directness, technical depth, and follow-through. In this domain that means saying plainly when a design has custody, security, or reversibility implications, defending your position with evidence, and staying engaged until it's resolved. Where a decision touches player funds or key material, we expect the conservative call to be argued for explicitly rather than assumed.
Benefits
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes medical, dental, and vision, PTO, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. By investing in professional development through training and educational opportunities, we ensure that our team thrives both personally and professionally. Together, we’re not just building a business; we’re cultivating a community that values creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of play.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

This role is fully remote but must overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours.
We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time.
About this role
Individual Giving has set an objective to double new donor acquisition in 2027 and expand our awareness through brand ads for key segments. Paid media is the biggest lever we have to get there, and as Growth Manager, Paid Media, you'll own delivery of this important priority. To help get us there, GiveDirectly is planning to expand its spend on paid media.
We are looking for someone who will be a strong cultural fit—curious, keen not to follow industry standards but to look for disproportionately high-leverage opportunities, keen to constantly learn and adjust, and comfortable launching a paid program without agency support. This role would suit someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to pivot and change tactics based on data and changing circumstances.
Reporting to our Director of Individual Giving, you’ll manage all paid acquisition for Individual Giving across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok, and also work closely with the VP of Marketing to manage all upper-funnel media buys (e.g., newsletters, podcasts, etc.) for both the Individual Giving and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for executing our paid media program end to end, including negotiating and managing contracts, creating ads, capturing screenshots for documentation, publishing campaigns, and monitoring performance. You will also build our tracking and attribution systems and use that data to grow both one-time and monthly giving. To do so, we are looking for a strong individual contributor who is comfortable executing within the platforms without a big team or agency.
The Individual Giving team is responsible for generating revenue across donors with an annual gift below $50k. To do so, the Individual Giving team executes compelling public fundraising campaigns, drives creative donor-facing content, and tests new marketing initiatives aimed at expanding our donor base and raising awareness of direct cash transfers. You’ll join a small but high-performing team that runs several campaigns at once and works with a lot of independence. You’ll partner with Brand and Marketing colleagues each campaign cycle to ensure integrated marketing across all public-facing materials.
Level:
Manager (we are willing to hire at Senior Manager for more experienced candidates)
Reports To:
Director of Individual Giving
Travel Requirement:
Must be able to travel ~1–2 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits
What you’ll bring:
3–5+ years in growth or performance marketing with a proven track record running paid media to a conversion or revenue target, in-house or agency, across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Non-profit experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience managing a paid media budget of at least US$5M a year with a track record of strong performance measurement, with the discipline to trust your own data over platform recommendations and the judgment to know when to scale a channel, cut it, or admit it isn't working—pause and reset.
A genuine test-and-learn habit: you design multivariable testing across creative, audience, messaging, and landing pages, using these insights to scale the program.
Strong written communication, the ability to own creative direction of ads (from conception and drafting through launch), and experience with or a strong eye for graphic design (Figma, Canva). You’ll work with content creation teams for bigger projects, but initial ideation and direction should come from you.
Strong, succinct communication, and the ability to work productively with a Brand and Marketing team focused on brand awareness.
Alignment with
GiveDirectly’s values
and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity.
Experience with tracking and attribution to ensure detailed reports are shared with senior management.
Bonus skills:
Experience with our tech stack (WordPress, Salesforce, PostHog, Google Analytics, Tableau, Zendesk, Ahrefs) or similar tools.
Experience with paid ads with a non-profit of a similar size or an agency supporting non-profits.
What you’ll do
Own paid media strategy and performance to execute growth and brand goals
Develop and execute the paid digital fundraising strategy that acquires new donors, grows revenue, and strengthens long-term supporter value across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, programmatic, and emerging platforms (approx. 50% of time).
Run top-of-funnel brand ads, from placement and contracting to creative direction and development, including podcasts, OOH, and connected TV (approx. 30% of time).
Manage and optimize paid investment daily, monitoring spend, pacing, cost per acquisition, and conversion, and reallocating budget as performance dictates.
Run a continuous test-and-learn program across audiences, creative messaging, channels, landing pages, and donation experiences, and turn results into decisions rather than reports.
Make key and strategic recommendations to the Director of Individual Giving and VP of Marketing on where budget spend should be allocated based on performance data.
Grow one-time and monthly giving through paid
Run acquisition and conversion campaigns for both one-time and monthly giving, testing paid tactics to grow the recurring program—the fastest-growing part of our portfolio.
Optimize the digital supporter journey so paid campaigns connect cleanly to landing pages, donation forms, email, and CRM, maximizing conversion and retention.
Analyze acquisition, conversion, revenue, and retention trends by segment to inform where the next dollar goes.
Measurement & Reporting
Stand up standardized paid-channel attribution and UTM tracking so acquisition spend is evaluable outside the ad platforms.
Build and maintain performance dashboards that connect campaign, website, and CRM data into a single view of what each channel returns.
Develop a forecasting model that projects cost per acquisition and revenue by channel, so budget increases are decisions rather than bets.
Report to senior management on budget and paid campaign performance on a bi-weekly basis.
This role might not be for you if
You are used to relying on an agency for recommendations or ad builds in the platforms themselves.
You do not have experience/familiarity with both upper-funnel and direct conversion paid advertising.
You are not comfortable managing projects from A–Z, including ideation, planning, launching, testing, iterating, and evaluating.
What success looks like in 12–18 months
A clear, measurable contribution to the 2027 goal of doubling new donor acquisition, with a 50–70% share of new monthly donors acquired through paid.
The Google Ad Grant is fully deployed against upper-funnel objectives, in compliance, and contributing measurable qualified traffic.
A documented acquisition model forecasts cost per acquisition and revenue by channel accurately enough to justify a materially larger paid budget.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Professional Services Engineer at GitLab, you'll work directly with customers to deliver installation, migration, training, and advisory services that help them adopt GitLab successfully. You'll lead engagements from single-node Omnibus installs to large reference architectures built with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code. You'll also guide migrations from other systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed deployments, and help customers make practical decisions that improve reliability, security, and day-to-day workflows.
In this role, you'll work closely with customers and GitLab's product and engineering teams to drive customer success and share feedback that improves GitLab and how we deliver services. You'll manage multiple projects at once, mentor other Professional Services Engineers, and help streamline how we deliver consistent outcomes in a remote, largely asynchronous environment.
Some examples of our projects:
Designing and delivering GitLab installations and reference architectures using tools like Terraform and Ansible across major cloud providers
Leading migrations to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, and turning customer feedback into actionable improvements for GitLab's product and engineering teams
What you’ll do
Deliver GitLab Professional Services engagements, including installation, migration, training, and advisory services across GitLab capabilities.
Plan and execute deployments ranging from single-node Omnibus installations to large reference architectures using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices.
Lead migrations from multiple source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, helping customers adopt secure, reliable workflows.
Partner with Engagement Managers and Project Managers to improve delivery consistency, remove friction, and continuously refine delivery processes.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers, translating goals and constraints into practical implementation plans and clear next steps.
Interface with GitLab's product and engineering teams to unblock customer outcomes and share feedback that helps improve GitLab features and services.
Mentor Associate and Intermediate Professional Services Engineers, providing technical guidance, helping remove blockers, and supporting increased autonomy.
Manage and deliver multiple customer engagements at once, either as the primary engineer or as a lead providing oversight and direction to other engineers.
What you’ll bring
Professional exposure with one or more infrastructure as code or configuration as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef.
Professional exposure with two or more cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
Experience using, deploying, or configuring GitLab, including a solid understanding of Git and source control workflows.
Experience delivering customer-facing services such as installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements across GitLab's feature set.
Proven ability to independently manage one or more projects and to lead and provide direction to other Professional Services Engineers on complex engagements.
Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear status updates and build consensus with peers and customers in a remote, largely asynchronous environment.
Demonstrated ability to take a solution-oriented approach by identifying root causes, proposing options and tradeoffs, and driving issues to resolution while balancing multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote organization by communicating clearly in writing, documenting decisions, collaborating asynchronously across time zones, and working in ways consistent with GitLab's values.
Must be located in Japan and have full working rights in Japan

Location and Working Hours
This role is based in the APJ region and requires substantial daily overlap with APJ business hours. The Territory Operations team works asynchronously across regions, so comfort with written handoffs and documentation is more important than real-time availability outside your local hours.
About the Role
This is an early-career role designed for someone with foundational operations, analytics, or CRM experience who wants to build depth in sales systems and territory management. You will learn our territory carving and account routing processes from the ground up, with structured onboarding, a defined ramp plan, and close support from the broader Territory Operations team. Prior territory operations experience is not required — curiosity, care with data, and clear communication matter more.
Responsibilities
Support cross-functional annual planning activities related to territory carving and deployment in Salesforce for the APJ region, with guidance from senior team members
Help maintain and document territory operations processes, including runbooks and onboarding materials for APJ stakeholders
Respond to account routing questions from the APJ field, escalating complex or ambiguous cases to senior analysts
Support recurring territory reporting and ad hoc analysis requests for APJ sales leadership
Partner with APJ Field Sales, Sales Operations, and Revenue Strategy to understand regional coverage needs and surface opportunities to improve territory processes and tools
Assist the Sales Systems team on automation improvements enabled by territory management (such as automated opportunity assignment)
Support data hygiene and enrichment for APJ accounts using tools such as RingLead, ZoomInfo, D&B, and Openprise, including validating account data across multiple APJ countries and markets
Document questions, edge cases, and process gaps encountered in day-to-day work so they can be addressed systematically
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in an operations, analytics, business support, or CRM-adjacent role — sales operations experience is welcome but not required
Based in the APJ region, or able to maintain consistent overlap with APJ business hours
Working familiarity with Salesforce (navigating records, reports, and list views); exposure to Salesforce Sales Territories, Salesforce Maps, or similar tools is a plus
Comfortable working in spreadsheets — sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and pivot tables; advanced modeling is not expected
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to working with data
Clear and concise written communication, particularly in asynchronous settings across time zones
Collaborative and comfortable asking questions; you will be supported, not left to figure things out alone
Interest in learning sales operations systems and processes in a fast-paced, distributed environment
Nice to Have
Experience supporting stakeholders across multiple APJ countries or working with multilingual account data
Exposure to data enrichment or data quality tools (RingLead, ZoomInfo, D&B, Openprise, or similar)
Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or other reporting tools
Salesforce Administrator certification or coursework in progress

Who We Are
We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live
our values
every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers.
How We Work
We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote
Little more about the team:
The Storage Team at Honeycomb is the backbone of our platform, responsible for the performance, reliability, and scalability of storing and querying billions of events. We design and own the architecture that powers correct and dependable query results — enabling every product experience from Metrics to Triggers and SLOs. As a senior engineer on Storage, you’ll work on high-impact systems where our customers may never see your code directly, but they’ll rely on it every time they use Honeycomb.
What you’ll do in the role:
Build and deliver high-quality solutions. You will design and implement solutions that power Honeycomb’s query and data storage infrastructure. Whether it’s improving query performance, evolving the Retriever service, or making our storage layer more reliable, you’re eager to jump in and add value where the team needs it most.
Scope and deliver projects independently. You’re comfortable breaking down complex storage and querying problems into achievable steps, surfacing trade-offs, and pulling in teammates when needed. You take ownership end-to-end — from design to production support — reducing toil and ensuring our systems deliver measurable customer and business impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners. You’ll work closely with Product Management and other engineering teams to connect technical solutions to product needs, from problem discovery through solution design and delivery. Much of our work is behind the scenes, but it enables every Honeycomb product experience, from Metrics to Triggers and SLOs.
Support our services in production. We believe in owning the software we build. Every engineer on Storage participates in on-call rotations, helps define team KPIs and SLOs, and proactively reduces toil by addressing reliability challenges before they reach customers.
Learn new ways to solve complex problems. As Honeycomb grows, so do the challenges of scaling our systems. You will explore new technologies, data storage techniques, and query optimization strategies to keep performance and reliability strong at scale.
Thrive on collaboration. You enjoy pairing, reviewing code, and offering constructive feedback. You model strong ownership and help your teammates grow, while keeping conversations forward-looking and focused on business value.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Technical leadership in storage and querying. You’ve led the design of patterns and guidelines that improve performance and reliability, and you bring expertise in writing Go along with experience working on high-throughput or complex systems. Prior experience with database engineering is a plus, as is comfort with Kubernetes.
Curiosity and experimentation. You learn by digging in — individually, in pairs, or as a team. You ask questions to better understand complex systems, explore trade-offs, and believe in learning from incidents as a way to improve both technology and practices.
Focus on business outcomes. You tie technical decisions to customer and company impact, weighing whether work is necessary now or later, and considering how projects affect the broader business.
Strength in mentorship and teamwork. You guide engineers through code reviews and help spread knowledge across a team with diverse skillsets so that ownership of critical paths is shared, not siloed.
Resilience in collaboration. You thrive in a senior-heavy team, giving and receiving feedback with grace, and contributing to a culture where tough problems and hard conversations lead to better outcomes.
Execution with impact. You can scope and deliver complex, multi-team projects while balancing production realities, proactively reducing toil, and ensuring systems deliver measurable customer value.
Deep debugging expertise. You’re trusted to diagnose and resolve the toughest production issues across the stack, restoring reliability where others may be stuck.
Influence beyond your team. You multiply impact by sharing knowledge, guiding adoption of new technologies, and driving foundational work that benefits Honeycomb engineering as a whole.

ABOUT US
Tebi is creating the first Connected Restaurant Management System that makes hospitality flow. In one seamless platform, Tebi embeds sales, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and all the data that powers it, creating smooth service and intuitive insights.
Founded by Arnout Schuijff, co-founder of Adyen, and backed by €50 million in funding from Index Ventures & CapitalG, Tebi is built in service of hospitality first. Thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Denmark and Finland already love running on Tebi.
About the Role
We're looking for a natural Sales person who is passionate about hospitality. Sales is at the heart of our business growth right now, and you will be driving it forward in your day-to-day. This role is about more than closing deals, it is about blending with the hospitality scene and winning the market.
In your day-to-day you can expect a mix of top of funnel activities, field sales, cold sales, networking, events and more.
What You’ll Do
Our sales are not your typical SaaS or office sales. We meet our customers where they operate:
- Find the coolest new hospitality spots in town that everyone talks about
- Create engaging ways to show our product
- Use creative communication strategies to close the deal that will help the merchant operate smarter
- Do a smooth handover to the onboarding team to make sure we go live quickly and successfully
- Efficiently use our CRM and other Sales tools (Hubspot, Clay, AI) to leave more time for creativity and connection
- Continuously improve and revisit our sales funnel
- Keep an eye on the new developments in the industry and the merchants’ needs to create our own path
What You’ll Need
You are a natural relationship builder with a passion for hospitality industry:
- Hands-on approach, independence and hunger for fast-paced operations
- Natural curiosity and a healthy appetite for calculated risk - we want you to try new things and not be afraid to fail
- Strong and engaging communication skills - you can grab an attention of a busy hospitality owner and keep them interested
- Passion and curiosity for hospitality and hospitality tech
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Account Management or Hospitality
- You are comfortable working in both English and Danish
If this speaks to you we can be the right fit. Learn more about how we work from our Recipe here: https://www.tebi.com/gb/careers https://www.tebi.com/gb/careers.
Benefits:
- Start-up Equity
- Competitive Salary
- Flexible time off
- Team events
What is Restaurant Software?
Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on. These systems all need to speak to each other which they frequently don’t. It’s a mess, and we are fixing it.
From buying a croissant at a cafe to having dinner with friends, it’s a €4 Trillion+ global market and a critical part of everyday life in today's economy.
How we use AI at Tebi
We use AI the way our merchants use Tebi, to cut out the friction and get to what matters faster. We believe in a world where AI increases quality, efficiency and speed.
At Tebi, AI isn't a policy or a checkbox, it's just part of how we work. It helps us write, analyse, build, and improve but doesn’t make the last call. If there's a smarter way to do something, we want to find it.
