How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity and we are looking for candidates from the UK, Sweden, Spain, Germany or Ireland.
About the role:
Grafana Cloud runs Mimir, Loki, Tempo and Pyroscope as multi-tenant SaaS databases across AWS, GCP and Azure in regions worldwide. Our highest-SLA customers depend on them to run their businesses. We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to keep these systems reliable at scale.
The role combines building and operating. You’ll write the software, automation and product changes that make our databases more reliable, including changes to the Mimir, Loki and Tempo codebases where reliability calls for it. You’ll also be on call for our highest-SLA customers and handle the operational work that comes with it. You’ll bring a production mindset to product engineering and engineering rigor to reliability, and you’ll set technical direction across squads.
What You’ll Do
Build reliability into the product.
Write production code in our services, tooling and the Mimir, Loki and Tempo codebases that makes our databases more resilient, self-healing and scalable as demand grows quickly.
Build automation and platform tooling
that removes toil and scales our reliability practices across regions and cloud providers.
Lead technical design.
Author design docs, review others’ designs and PRs, and shape feature design so it’s scalable and operable from day one.
Own the SLO framework.
Define and evolve per-tenant SLOs and reliability models. Use SLO burn and incident learnings to find and fix the causes of failure in the systems themselves.
Improve observability and alerting
so we find problems before customers do, and so escalations are actionable rather than noisy.
Be on call for our highest-SLA customers.
Act as a technical escalation point for complex customer environments. Lead customer-impacting incident response, including customer bridge calls when needed, and write blameless post-incident reviews that lead to engineering fixes.
Handle the operational work that comes from on-call.
This includes investigating customer escalations, following up on incident actions, tuning capacity and configuration, and turning recurring issues into permanent fixes or automation.
Multiply the team.
Mentor engineers, teach reliability practices that teams adopt early in development, and work with engineering leadership on roadmaps and product strategy.
We highly value those who are intellectually curious, who default to transparency, possess a high bias towards action, and who are also kind (this is important!)
On-Call
Weekday on-call is 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, split between North America and Europe so you cover your local working hours. Weekends are covered by a separate 24-hour rotation. You’ll take a weekend roughly once every six to eight weeks.
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant time building and owning distributed systems in production.
Strong production software skills, ideally in at least one object-oriented language. You write clean, tested code and can make targeted changes in large open-source codebases you didn’t write.
Deep understanding of distributed systems: performance, scaling and failure modes. You can reason about how a system will break before it does.
Experience running multi-tenant systems at scale on Kubernetes in AWS, GCP or Azure, with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Helm or Jsonnet.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing SLOs.
Experience being on call for production systems. You troubleshoot calmly and methodically under pressure, and you’ve taken part in blameless incident response and written high-quality post-incident reviews.
Staff-level technical leadership: driving cross-team projects, setting technical direction and making the engineers around you better.
Working knowledge of Linux internals, networking and cloud storage.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Pyroscope, Prometheus or other observability and time-series databases.
Open-source contributions.
Customer reliability engineering (CRE) or customer-facing escalation experience.1
In Ireland, the Base compensation range for this role is €117,600 - €141,120. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed
here

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
Role summary
As a Platform Security Engineer on the Security team, you will architect and maintain the security posture of our rapidly scaling AI infrastructure and application lifecycle. Security is not a gate but an enabler, and you will embed robust controls into our continuous integration and deployment pipelines, infrastructure environments, and developer workflows to protect our systems without sacrificing velocity.
Your role exists to ensure that our research and engineering teams can move fast while staying secure. You will shape how security integrates with every layer of our stack, from code to cloud, making secure practices invisible to developers and automatic by default.
What you will do
- Drive threat modeling and risk prioritization exercises as the security counterpart in system-design reviews for core infrastructure and new products.
- Own end-to-end vulnerability management across continuous integration and deployment pipelines and runtime environments, covering infrastructure and applications.
- Secure our container orchestration deployments and containerized workloads, implementing advanced hardening to prevent lateral movement across distributed systems.
- Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code security by building robust guardrails and integrating policy-as-code directly into deployment pipelines.
- Design and execute a comprehensive security tooling strategy, managing solutions for cloud-native application protection, cloud security posture, static code analysis, dependency scanning, secrets management, and vulnerability tracking.
- Champion developer enablement by building secure defaults, streamlining remediation workflows, and drafting actionable security guidelines.
- Build foundational security automation to scale alongside hyper-growth, minimizing manual overhead while establishing a pragmatic security culture.
What we're looking for:
- Five or more years of experience in Platform Security, Security Engineering, or Cloud Security, ideally as an early security hire in a fast-scaling environment.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration and container security, alongside strong experience securing Infrastructure-as-Code across major cloud providers.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python or Go to build security automation and integrate diverse security tools into developer workflows.
- Extensive experience deploying and tuning modern security tooling with a pragmatic approach to vulnerability management and threat modeling.
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of partnering with developers and researchers to embed secure defaults without creating engineering friction.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

Workplace: OnSite
Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Principal Product Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer with deep expertise in product security, threat modelling, and risk assurance for highly regulated electromechanical systems. In this role, you will lead the delivery of product cybersecurity across Humanoid's HMND 01 platform family — the Alpha Wheeled industrial robot and the Alpha Bipedal home robot — both powered by our KinetIQ VLM/VLA-based AI framework. Working alongside product, firmware, autonomy, and hardware teams as part of the Systems Engineering and Architecture Team, you will define and maintain the cybersecurity assurance strategy for all product security activities from first concept through post-market deployment. Security at Humanoid is an engineering discipline inseparable from functional safety and central to our mission of creating the world's most reliable, commercially scalable, and safe humanoid robots. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate the authority to influence security architecture decisions across complex, cross-functional programmes, the rigour to build defensible security cases for novel cyber-physical systems, and the leadership to grow and guide a cross team of security engineers operating at the frontier of robotics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Team Leadership & Product Security Delivery
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team of security engineers, maintaining accountability for the delivery of product security services within product teams throughout the HMND 01 development lifecycle.
- Define product security requirements and advise development teams on suitable implementation standards, techniques, and toolchains for embedded and AI-enabled robotic systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop security protocols, tools, and processes that keep HMND 01 technologies ahead of emerging threats — including attack surfaces specific to the KinetIQ AI inference pipeline and cloud-to-robot communication architecture.
- Own and maintain key security artefacts for audit-ready cybersecurity documentation including Security Management Plans, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) reports, Risk Assessments, and Remediation Action Plans across both platforms.
Security Assurance & Certification
- Drive security assurance through the full product lifecycle, ensuring every HMND 01 design is robust, compliant, and resilient. Contribute to the continual improvement of security engineering capability across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity obligations under the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 where cyber controls intersect with safety-critical functions and compliance to IEC 62443 (for industrial/OT product security), and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
- Provide independent Information Assurance (IA) reviews and risk assessments on complex, high-impact projects — with particular focus on cyber-physical systems where a digital compromise could result in physical harm to operators or end users.
- Review and provide guidance on security risk assessments, risk mitigation plans, mitigation gap analysis, and security management documentation in support of system cybersecurity certification.
Incident Response & Lifecycle Security
- Establish and maintain a Product Security Incident Response (PSIR) process, encompassing coordinated vulnerability disclosure, patch deployment pipelines, and post-field incident analysis.
- Define and oversee security monitoring requirements for deployed fleets, ensuring field data feeds back into risk files and security artefacts in line with post-market surveillance obligations.
Commercial & Bid Support
- Support the production of work package descriptions and cost estimates for product bids, services, and proposals that include product security scope.
- Represent Humanoid's security posture in customer and partner engagements, including regulatory consultations and certification body interactions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven, hands-on experience with ISO 27001/27004/27005 and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), applied to regulated hardware or embedded product programmes.
- Experience owning a security risk management system for highly regulated, safety-critical products — with background drawn from automotive, commercial vehicle, or industrial automation environments.
- Working knowledge of IEC 62443, with the ability to adapt ISO/SAE 21434 lifecycle methodologies to robotic or electromechanical product context.
- Solid understanding of engineering development lifecycles and how the product cybersecurity specialism aligns with systems engineering, functional safety, and hardware/software co-development.
- Ability to interpret Penetration Test reports and author Remediation Action Plans that address identified vulnerabilities in a structured, risk-prioritised manner.
- Clear, structured communication skills — able to articulate complex security risk arguments to both technical engineers and executive stakeholders with equal confidence.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) or equivalent threat modelling methodologies (STRIDE, PASTA) applied to embedded or OT/IT convergent systems.
- Understanding of secure-by-design principles for AI/ML-enabled systems, including securing inference pipelines, model integrity, and cloud-to-edge communication paths.
- Exposure to CAN bus, Ethernet backbone, or wireless interface security in mobile, vehicular, or robotic systems.
- Experience contributing to or establishing a Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT) process or coordinated vulnerability disclosure programme.
- Knowledge of UL 4600, UL 3300, or ISO 13482 and an appreciation of how cybersecurity evidence integrates into safety case arguments.
- Prior engagement with certification bodies (TUV, UL, BSI) or standards development organisations (ISO TC 184, IEC TC 65, SAE, IEEE RAS).
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion's Business Development team accelerates product distribution and platform growth through partnerships. This role has the potential to drive outsized scope in Notion's journey - we’re partnering with some of the best companies in the world and turn momentum into first-in-kind deals and scaled programs that result in delightful experiences for our customers, and growth for Notion.
As Business Development Manager, you'll be the ecosystem partner to our engineering and product teams, launching and deepening integrations with frontier intelligence platforms and the tools our customers already use. You'll be the voice of partners within Notion, shaping our product roadmap and driving adoption of new APIs and developer tools in the ecosystem. Project manage partner-centric launches - from partner onboarding and implementation, to driving go-to-market and post-launch tracking.
- Drive partner strategy: Own and grow relationships with select strategic partners, becoming their voice within Notion. Identify, evaluate and implement new product and co-marketing opportunities that create outsized value for partners, Notion and our shared customers.
- Be the best partner to the best partners: As an internal advocate for Notion’s partners, ensure their needs are being considered and reflected in our roadmap and planning. Provide ongoing support to grow our strategic relationships.
- Accelerate distribution partnerships: Source, evaluate, and launch first-in-kind partnerships that drive new user demand for Notion. From negotiation to launch and performance tracking, turn successful deals into scalable programs based on adoption and revenue signals.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Role Overview
As a Senior Offensive Security Engineer (L5), you will own complex offensive security initiatives that span multiple teams. You will lead advanced penetration testing, red team exercises, and adversarial simulations to uncover systemic weaknesses in our web applications, APIs, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, identity, payment-adjacent flows, and overall attack surface.
You will act as a
hands-on technical leader
: influencing secure design decisions with evidence, mentoring mid-level and junior offensive engineers, and driving improvements that meaningfully reduce risk.
Description
In this senior role, you will take end-to-end ownership of offensive security efforts with a focus on high-impact outcomes. Your responsibilities include:
Lead comprehensive penetration tests and red team / assumed-breach exercises targeting web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and authentication systems (including identity and privileged-access paths).
Lead mobile offensive testing on Android and iOS, including evaluation and bypass/validation of runtime protection, tamper resistance, certificate pinning / Certificate Transparency, and key/secret shielding using DexProtector or similar RASP / app-shielding tools, plus complementary tooling such as MobSF.
Perform in-depth threat modeling and identify complex attack paths across services and trust boundaries (including authorization flaws, tenant isolation, token/session issues, edge/WAF bypass, and client-secret exposure).
Deliver high-quality security assessment reports with clear risk ratings, business impact analysis, practical remediation guidance, and evidence quality that engineering and audit stakeholders can use in a SOC 2 and PCI DSS context—then re-test and validate fixes before closure.
Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and the Security Engineer track to influence secure architecture decisions and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed at the root cause.
Develop and improve offensive security methodologies, tools, and automation to increase efficiency and coverage. AI-assisted testing is a must.
Mentor mid-level and junior offensive security engineers, conduct offensive-focused code/design reviews, and help raise the overall security capability of the team.
Participate in purple team exercises with the detection and incident response teams to improve defenses based on real attack simulations.
Stay at the forefront of offensive security research, emerging threats, and TTPs, and assess their relevance to Toters.
Contribute offensive input to security standards, policies, and secure development practices across the engineering organization (you advise; you do not own policy issuance or GRC evidence packs).
Support structured disclosure (VDP / researcher reports) through reproduce, rate, de-duplicate, and validate.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red teaming.
Strong expertise in web application, API, and mobile security testing (Android and iOS).
Working knowledge of DexProtector or similar mobile shielding / RASP tooling: what it protects, how testers evaluate residual risk, and how to validate that hardening holds.
Advanced proficiency with offensive security tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike or equivalent adversary-emulation platforms, custom tooling, etc.).
Proficient in writing robust, reusable scripts and small tools for automation (Python preferred, Bash for quick tasks).
Solid experience with cloud security testing (AWS preferred) and infrastructure attack techniques.
Proven ability to lead complex security assessments from scoping to reporting and remediation validation.
Strong risk assessment and threat modeling skills, with the ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS as they apply to offensive work (scoped pentests, application/API/payment-adjacent testing, evidence-quality reporting). This role does not own control design or audit evidence collection.
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing cross-team security practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
Industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CRTO, or PNPT.
Experience running full-scope red team or assumed-breach exercises.
Experience developing custom exploits, tooling, or automation for offensive security.
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary emulation.
AI and AI pentesting: testing LLM/agent applications (prompt injection, tool/plugin abuse, data-exfil via agents) and using AI-assisted pentest workflows with mandatory human review.
Previous experience in high-scale e-commerce, delivery, or fintech environments, including payment API / tokenization / third-party PSP testing as a tester (not as PCI control owner).
Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
