HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.

Establish and track key product metrics (KPIs), using data to guide iteration and growth decisions.
Maintain a deep understanding of the latest advancements in the object storage market, including customer use cases and competitive offerings, to identify new opportunities and ensure Backblaze’s market leadership position.

A proven track record of successfully launching and scaling technical products or platforms in high-growth businesses involving in-depth cross-functional collaboration and leadership across R&D and go-to-market functions.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

You'll partner with sales and customers throughout complex enterprise sales cycles to develop customer-specific value frameworks, build rigorous ROI models and investment cases grounded in operating and financial metrics, and translate Sierra's impact into measurable outcomes such as lower operating costs, incremental revenue, and stronger customer loyalty. You'll also create and scale repeatable, industry-specific business cases and establish Sierra's business value framework from the ground up.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can bring structure to ambiguous problems, develop rigorous analysis, and has strong communciation.
- Support complex enterprise sales cycles by developing ROI models, evaluating tradeoffs, and presenting recommendations to senior decision-makers
- Shape commercial strategy by connecting the value Sierra delivers to our outcomes-based pricing model
- Develop industry-specific benchmarks, frameworks, and tools that make Sierra’s business value clear and repeatable
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience in value engineering, monetization strategy, consulting, strategic finance, or a similar role focused on quantifying and communicating business impact
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with a track record of building rigorous ROI models and investment cases

EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building and scaling a business value methodology, program, or center of excellence from the ground up
- Familiarity with AI, conversational AI, or customer service operations
- Previous experience in a zero-to-one startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
