About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Beneficial Deployments team accelerates the work of organizations doing some of the world's most important under-resourced work: nonprofits, education institutions, scientific researchers, and organizations advancing economic mobility. Research institutions sit at the center of that mission. They produce the science the rest of the world builds on, and they are structurally short on time, budget, and technical capacity to figure out new technology on their own.
You will lead our targeted approach to research institutes and research intensive universities globally. Where our scaled motion reaches thousands of organizations one to many, this role is the opposite end of the same ecosystem: a deliberately short list of institutions where depth matters, where a lab, a department, or a whole campus adopting Claude changes what science gets done, and where the buying process runs through provosts, research offices, procurement, grant budgets, and security review.
Reach comes first, and commercial results follow from it. That ordering is deliberate and it is shared across every leader on this team: a research institute that adopts Claude to move its science faster is a win on its own terms, and you will be measured on creating that value with the institutions that matter most, not only on pipeline. You are the single accountable owner for the research Enterprise book globally: its target list, its AEs, its numbers, and its field voice inside Anthropic.
You are half seller, half domain translator. You will personally run the most complex institutional deals, and you will be credible in a room of scientists and research leaders. You know how research is funded, how a university decides, and what it takes for a research sales motion to land in a software company. You will bring that knowledge to the product, applied AI, and marketing teams who build for this audience.
This is a player coach seat. You will be directly involved in deals and directing the account executives who cover research institutes and universities today, and the role is expected to grow thoughtfully with more AEs in key regions globally.
Key responsibilities
Co-design our global research strategy: the target list of research institutes and research intensive universities that advance scientific discovery.
Serve as the lead on our most complex institutional deals — setting the pursuit strategy, opening doors with lab and research-office leadership, university provosts, and personally resolving the toughest hurdles: procurement, security review, and grant-funded budgets.
Direct and coach the account executives working research accounts today: joint account plans, deal reviews, and a repeatable motion for landing a university and expanding within it.
Build the institutional playbook: how an institute goes from a pilot to a working deployment across a department, what good adoption looks like, and when to bring in applied AI, customer success, or partners.
Own the book's numbers, institutions reached, activated, and expanded against goals, and use them to decide where the effort goes next.
Work in lockstep with our PLG 1:many motion, so that an institution moves cleanly between scaled programs and direct coverage in both directions.
Minimum qualifications
Research sales. You have sold software as a service into universities, research institutes, or academic medical centers, and you have personally closed complex institutional agreements involving procurement, security review, and multiple decision makers.
Science background. You have trained or worked in a scientific field, or spent a meaningful part of your career selling to or building for scientists, and you can hold a credible conversation with a principal investigator about their research.
Sales leadership. You have led a sales business end to end and been the accountable owner for its results, whether as a team lead, a player coach, or the sole owner of a strategic book.
Preferred qualifications
Global research landscape: experience selling to universities or research institutes in more than one region, an understanding of how funding and procurement differ from country to country, and comfort working across time zones with regional teams.
Experience with research funding: grants, indirect costs, and how a fixed annual budget shapes what an institution can buy.
Track record landing an institution wide agreement at a research intensive university, and expanding from a single department to a campus or system.
Familiarity with how AI is already used in research settings, and a point of view on where it should go next.
Experience working with academic consortia, national labs, or research networks.
An impact, education, research, or mission driven go to market background, and genuine interest in these institutions' constraints.
A daily working habit with Claude, and agentic workflows you have built for yourself.
You might thrive here if you
Want your work measured in science that moves faster, not only in pipeline.
Have sat in a faculty meeting or a research office and know why the obvious commercial playbook does not work there.
Are comfortable being the only person accountable for a book while depending on teams you do not manage.
Would rather close the first three institutional deals yourself and write the playbook from what you learned than write the strategy deck first.
Find the constraint interesting rather than frustrating: long procurement cycles, grant timelines, and security reviews are the job, not an obstacle to it.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About the role:
The Safeguards ML Infra team designs, builds, and operates the production infrastructure that powers Claude's safety systems. We own the critical backend services that ensure safety on the token generation path, and we own the operational work of getting those systems safely into production: standing up safeguards for every new model launch, and deploying new safety classifiers as they ship. Every frontier model release runs through this team – we configure, verify, and roll out safeguards across every platform Claude runs on (1P, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex, etc.), and we lead incident response when issues arise.
This role sits at the center of that operational work. You'll ensure safeguards are properly configured and deployed for model launches and own the off-cycle deployment of new safety classifiers — canarying changes, verifying that the right safeguards are provably live on the right models, and holding rollback authority when something looks wrong. Every launch should also shrink the checklist, and the manual verifications should evolve into a system that runs itself. You'll turn launch runbooks into tooling, hand-built checks into continuous validation, and one-off deploys into a repeatable pipeline.
We're looking for engineers with deep experience in production change management at scale — people who have owned deploy pipelines, config management systems, rollout safety, or launch readiness for systems under real production pressure. Familiarity with ML research or transformer architectures is not required — you will learn that on the job. What we prioritize is production judgment: a track record of shipping changes to critical systems safely, and of automating yourself out of the work you did last quarter.
What you'll do:
Launch captain model releases: stand up, configure, and verify safeguards for every new model, and serve as the safeguards point of contact in the launch room during release windows.
Own the off-cycle deployment of new safety classifiers as they ship from research — canarying rollouts, running post-deploy validations, and investigating discrepancies when something looks wrong.
Verify that the right safeguards are provably live on the right models across every deployment platform (1P, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex, etc.), and detect and eliminate configuration drift between them.
Automate yourself out of last quarter's work: turn launch runbooks into tooling, hand-built checks into continuous validation, and one-off deploys into a repeatable pipeline.
Plan to use Claude aggressively to do this! And be a trailblazer that paves the path for safe agentic operations of safety-critical systems.
Build and maintain a safeguards registry with full provenance — what is running in production, on which model, on which platform, and when and by whom it was deployed.
Participate in on-call and operational-duty rotations covering service incidents, model provisioning, and time-sensitive research and safety launches.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have owned production change management at scale — deploy pipelines, config management systems, canary analysis — and have strong opinions about what "verified" means.
Have run high-stakes releases: served as a launch captain, incident commander, or release owner for systems where a bad deploy has real consequences, and are energized rather than drained by being in the critical path.
Have meaningful on-call experience for production systems, including incident response and postmortem-driven improvements — and a track record of turning (and fixing!) postmortem action items into process and tooling changes.
Have a desire to close the gap where nobody has yet raised their hand, even if it requires manually hand-holding processes until automation and tooling can be built.
Have hands-on experience deploying and operating on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) at scale.
Are proficient in Python; experience with Rust is a plus but not required.
Strong candidates may also have:
8+ years of industry software engineering or site reliability engineering experience.
A demonstrated history of reducing operational toil through automation, including transitioning teams from manual deployment processes to self-serve pipelines.
Experience running launch or production-readiness review processes across multiple teams.
Familiarity with LLM inference systems and the operational characteristics of transformer-based models.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
Mistral is looking for AI Scientists with deep expertise in engineering sciences and machine learning to push the frontier of AI-accelerated simulation. Within AI4Engineering Science, you will research and train foundational physics models which are substantially more capable than what exists today and can be fine-tuned for downstream applications by both customers and internal teams.
You will work across the full research stack: curating high-fidelity simulation datasets, designing and training novel model architectures, and rigorously evaluating them against real engineering validation standards.
Working closely with the broader research organization, you'll ensure the foundation models you build are general enough to become the backbone of many downstream products, not just a single point solution.
This role builds on a strong, world-class foundation, and the goal is to take it further. You'll work one vertical at a time toward foundation models that genuinely transfer and fine-tune across engineering tasks, with high-quality simulation data pipelines, physics-based evaluation, and uncertainty / out-of-distribution estimation as first-class concerns. There's no inherited playbook for most of what's left to do: you'll help define the architectures, training strategies, and validation standards the team builds on, not just extend an existing one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Research and train novel foundation models for physics simulation, pushing past today's state of the art in accuracy, generalization, and scale
- Design and run large-scale simulation campaigns using domain-specific solvers to build the high-fidelity datasets foundational physics models need
- Investigate architectures and training strategies (e.g. multi-fidelity training, pretraining objectives, scaling behavior) that let a single foundation model transfer and fine-tune well across diverse engineering tasks
- Rigorously evaluate model coverage, accuracy, and robustness against industry validation standards, and diagnose failure modes arising from data gaps or architecture limitations
- Stay on top of the latest developments in the scientific community and contribute to Mistral's standing at the frontier of AI-for-engineering research
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- PhD or Master's in CS/AI or an engineering science: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Structural Mechanics, EDA, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field
- Strong, hands-on machine learning expertise with a deep understanding of model architectures, training dynamics, and evaluation methodology is core to this role
- You have developed ML methods for simulation or surrogate modelling
- You write clean, readable Python code and are comfortable in Linux/HPC environments
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills, able to explain technical simulation and ML concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences
- Self-directed, you don't need detailed roadmaps to make progress
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn at the intersection of simulation and ML
- Demonstrated success through industrial projects, academic work, or personal projects
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU
- Have industrial or academic experience with simulation solvers (e.g. OpenFOAM, LS-DYNA, ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, Fluent, STAR-CCM+, PowerFlow, NekRS, Tau/CODA, JAX-Fluids, or equivalent; Cadence/Synopsys/Siemens EDA or equivalent)
- Have experience automating large-scale simulation campaigns on HPC clusters
- Have contributed to a large open-source or industry codebase
- Have publications in engineering or ML venues (AIAA, ASME, JFM, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.)
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
For the most up-to-date details on benefits available in your location, please refer to our Benefits page https://app.notion.com/p/mistralai/Benefits-at-Mistral-36e6ba59a7fe836b93dd01737fcc27ef?source=copy_link.

AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

LEAD PRODUCT MANAGER – PAYMENTS RISK
OUR PURPOSE
At Xero, we’re here to supercharge small businesses. By making small business more efficient every day, connecting them with big business technology and empowering a community behind them, their potential is limitless. When that happens, we’re not only helping small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Lead Product Manager – Payments Risk, you’ll build the risk capabilities that enable Xero customers to accept payments securely, reliably and with as little unnecessary friction as possible.
You’ll own product strategy and execution across two core areas:
Merchant risk — including KYB/KYC, merchant eligibility, underwriting, risk segmentation, financial exposure management and ongoing merchant monitoring.
Transaction risk — including fraud detection and decisioning, transaction monitoring, disputes and chargebacks, reserves and holds, payout risk and payments loss management.
This is a Product Management role focused on payments risk, not a Risk Operations or Compliance role. You’ll partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Engineering, Data and Operations to turn risk strategy and policy into scalable product capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
BUILD XERO’S PAYMENTS RISK CAPABILITIES
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for merchant and transaction risk.
- Build capabilities for merchant eligibility, underwriting, risk segmentation, financial exposure management and ongoing monitoring.
- Build transaction fraud detection, monitoring and decisioning capabilities using signals, rules, scoring, velocity and limits.
- Develop controls for disputes, chargebacks, reserves, holds, negative balances and payout risk.
- Build the tooling and workflows needed to support investigation, review and risk operations.
BUILD RISK AS A SCALABLE PLATFORM CAPABILITY
- Develop reusable capabilities for risk decisioning, rules, signals, limits, monitoring, alerts and case management.
- Partner with Engineering and Data on APIs, data models, architecture and decisioning systems required to operate risk at scale.
- Design capabilities that can support multiple processors, payment methods and markets.
- Evaluate build-versus-partner decisions and determine where Xero should own risk capabilities versus rely on processors or specialist risk providers.
MAKE THE RIGHT RISK TRADE-OFFS
- Translate risk appetite and policy into product controls and customer experiences.
- Use data to balance fraud and financial loss against merchant friction, transaction conversion and operational cost.
- Establish clear risk metrics and continuously improve decision quality, false-positive rates and loss performance.
- Identify emerging merchant, fraud and loss patterns and evolve controls as risks change.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU
Deep, hands-on payments risk product experience is essential for this role.
We’re looking for someone who has built and operated risk capabilities within a payments platform, PSP, acquirer, PayFac, marketplace or similar payments environment.
You should have meaningful Product Management experience across both:
- Merchant risk: KYB/KYC, merchant onboarding, eligibility, underwriting, merchant risk assessment, financial exposure management and/or ongoing monitoring.
- Transaction risk: fraud detection and decisioning, transaction monitoring, disputes and chargebacks, reserves and holds, payout risk and/or payments loss management.
You’ll also bring:
- Significant Product Management experience in a technically complex payments or fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of how merchant risk, transaction risk and the movement of money create financial exposure.
- Experience building risk decisioning capabilities using rules, signals, scoring, limits and data-driven models.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using fraud, transaction and loss data to make product decisions.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Data Science, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
- Experience working with payment processors, acquirers and/or third-party risk providers.
- Strong product judgement and the ability to make decisions where customer experience, growth and risk are in tension.
We’re particularly interested in candidates whose experience extends beyond KYC/compliance or consumer identity fraud into broader merchant and transaction risk within a payments environment.
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Legitimate merchants can accept payments with minimal unnecessary friction.
- Higher-risk merchants and transactions are identified and treated appropriately.
- Fraud, chargebacks and payments losses remain within Xero’s agreed risk appetite.
- Risk capabilities and decisioning can scale across processors, payment methods and markets.
COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - which means your value isn't just a single number on a paycheck. While base salary is a core component, we look at your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role in:
- California: $212,200 – $265,200 USD
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ OPERATIONS AT ALAN
The Operations Community’s core responsibilities is to deliver at scale our insurance and health services : we build our platform and operational capabilities and run our processes to guarantee delight and efficiency.

Claims: We provide a best-in-class claims experience, including our own optic care service. You treat claims and assist in decisions regarding our coverage. Additionally, you monitor the performance of external service providers to meet SLAs & perform quality controls. You ensure glasses get delivered on time, member satisfaction is high, our frame collection is attractive, collaboration with opticians is smooth and efficient, ….
Fraud: We run checks on claims submitted by our members, and build new ways of preventing fraud attempts. You investigate suspicious claims, prevent fraudulent payments or recover when we paid fraudulent claims.
Set up: We provide best-in-class experience to our Customers : a smooth on/offboarding of their employees and a seamless invoicing or billing. To do so, we continuously control & improve the quality of our processes : ensuring we have consistent information for invoicing, unlocking employee invite/removals in case of issue and supporting admin in case of payment issue or bankruptcy.
Note: We look for profiles able to embrace any challenge and jump in any pool ! Depending on Alan needs (and personal interests), an Operations Expert will join in a pool and can change and explore new scopes after some time. Do not hesitate to ask more concrete examples to the Operations Team Members you’ll meet during the process so they can share about their own scope.
⭐️ EXPERIENCE ⭐️
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the A2-B1 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
Since the scope of our Ops Expert role is extremely varied, we are open to candidates from different backgrounds : you could be a good fit for the Operations team at Alan if, for example, you:
- Operated processes and services especially for companies during the scale up stage or in industrial/logistic industries
- Worked in Support functions (Customer Support, People Operations etc)
- Had a Customer facing Commercial experience, e.g. account manager or Customer Success Communications, such as Social Media, Internal/ External Communications
- Handled event coordination
⭐️ SKILLS ⭐️

- A keen problem-solver and challenger with a dig deep mindset: what drives you is member and customer satisfaction !
- Analytics skills, to be able to dive into our data
- Highly organised with exceptional follow-up skills, with strong attention to details
- Strong and structured in written and verbal communication in English as well as in French or Dutch
- Able to work and learn independently in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable: you show flexibility and a strong ability to adapt to variable situations
- It’s even better if you have experience in the insurance or the healthcare industry

If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for forward-thinking, high-performing AI Engineers who are excited to pioneer the future of AI-driven engineering at Paysend. In this role, you will work hands-on with Claude Code and the Anthropic API to design, harden, and ship agentic systems that write, review, test, and deploy code. This is a high-impact, build-and-own opportunity: you will take cutting-edge AI prototypes and turn them into resilient production infrastructure - directly empowering our global engineering teams, accelerating our product velocity, and helping us solidify Paysend as the definitive end-to-end payment infrastructure for the modern world.
THE ENGINEERING PROBLEM
The problem is not to make an LLM generate code. The problem is to make AI-assisted and agentic software delivery reliable enough to become part of normal engineering work.
These systems operate inside real software delivery workflows. They need to deal with incomplete context, failed execution, incorrect assumptions, external dependencies, changing repository state, and cases where an agent should not continue on its own. This means designing clear execution boundaries, decision points, observability, recovery and escalation paths, not only the agent behaviour itself.
The role includes shaping how these systems work, not only implementing integrations with existing AI tools.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design end-to-end AI-assisted delivery workflows, including agent responsibilities, execution boundaries, decision points, human intervention, failure handling, recovery, and escalation
Design and refine AI-driven pipelines that automate coding, code review, testing, and deployment tasks
Build and optimise agentic workflows using Claude Code and the Anthropic API, including custom tooling, MCP server integrations, sub-agents, and stateful orchestration logic
Engineer robust prompts, benchmark suites, and automated eval datasets; measure and improve pipeline accuracy, latency, and API costs
Define workflow-specific success criteria and operational evidence, including correctness, reliability, intervention and escalation rates, failure modes, and recovery effectiveness
Integrate core Anthropic capabilities (tool use, structured outputs, prompt caching, batch processing) into internal developer platforms
Handle unglamorous production work: sandboxed execution, strict error handling, retries, observability, guardrails, and edge cases
Own these systems after initial implementation: observe how they behave in real engineering workflows, investigate failures and incorrect behaviour, and improve the system based on operational evidence
Partner with engineers across the org to identify automation opportunities and roll out agentic tools safely with human-in-the-loop review mechanisms
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong software engineering background, with experience designing, building, and operating production systems, and strong hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript
Ability to decompose end-to-end engineering workflows, identify decision boundaries, failure modes, dependencies, observability needs, and recovery paths
Direct, hands-on experience with Claude Code—you've used it beyond casual experimentation and understand its strengths, limits, and configuration (CLAUDE.md, sub-agents, hooks)
Experience building with LLM APIs: prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, context window optimization, agentic loops, and evaluation
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration and custom workflows
Comfort turning prototypes into production systems: CI/CD integration, containerized execution, reliability engineering, and monitoring
Pragmatic judgment about where AI automation helps and where traditional deterministic logic or human oversight is required
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building custom agent harnesses/tooling
Track record shipping internal developer platforms or CLI tooling
Contributions to open-source AI frameworks, developer tools, or MCP servers

About the role:
You'll own the NPV and unit economics model behind Salmon's credit card business — the core logic behind how we price, size, and monitor profitability across the portfolio.
What you'll do:
- Work directly with the Head of Economics to turn model logic into production-ready Python/SQL code
- Build and maintain the datasets that feed the model — cohorts, cashflows, losses, funding, fees, revenue — with help from other analysts
- Automate scenario and sensitivity runs so pricing, limit, and product decisions are backed by real numbers
What you'll own:
- Own the end-to-end NPV / unit economics model for credit cards — clean, testable, versioned logic
- Validate model outputs against actual portfolio performance and investigate gaps when they don't match
- Translate model logic into clear, implementation-ready specs when other teams need to build on it
- Step outside your immediate scope when the work calls for it — we value ownership over rigid roles
What makes you a strong fit:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics
- Strong Python (pandas) and SQL — for data exploration and for implementing analytics logic in production
- Solid understanding of unit economics / financial modeling — cashflows, NPV, cohorts — through direct modeling experience or hands-on work with such models
- High attention to detail — small errors break economics in production
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Hybrid-first work environment
- Company-provided tools and equipment
- Office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila — a modern, walkable district at the centre of the Philippines' growing tech scene
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
- 105 days of paid maternity leave and up to 14 days of paid paternity leave for employees relocating to Manila
Relocation and family support
- Relocation support for you and your family — including flights, two weeks of accommodation, visas, paperwork, and logistics
- Reimbursement of eligible pet relocation expenses
- USD 2,500 per year for flights home
- Baby and family stipends for employees relocating to Manila: USD 1,000/month per child under two, USD 500/month per child aged two to 18
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- Regular team offsites, sports activities, and team events
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
