Location: Oakland, California, United States, AMER
From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About the Role
Fivetran + dbt Labs is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a Lead Company Operations Manager to join the COO Office — the team responsible for setting the pulse of the company: developing our strategies, holding leaders accountable for executing them, and taking on the cross-functional work that lacks a clear owner.
This role owns Leadership Operations: the standing forums and rhythm through which NewCo's leadership runs the business. You will own the mechanics behind our board meetings, help run the ELT's operating rhythm and quarterly Strategy Days, and make sure the decisions made in those forums are carried through to closure. Your remit is
what happens in the room
— forum design, agendas, pre-reads, decision capture, and follow-through — and the calendar of forums, planning cycles, and decision points that connects them.
The work is deliberately diverse. One week you're building the narrative and data behind a board deck with the executive leadership team; the next you're redesigning a cadence that is consuming more executive time than it returns, or scoping a special project that arrived without a brief, an owner, or a definition of done. You'll work directly with stakeholders at every level across Product, GTM, Finance, and Engineering — from individual contributors who own the underlying work to the executives accountable for it — and you'll be expected to bring structure to problems that show up without any.
You'll join a small, central team in the middle of the Fivetran + dbt Labs integration, so expect to build mechanisms that don't exist yet rather than inherit mature ones. Early on, your impact will come mostly from the structure, materials, and follow-through behind our leadership forums, with a clear path to owning more of the live facilitation as you build relationships with the executive team.
This is a full-time position based out of our
Oakland
office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
This position reports to the Director of Business Operations & Chief of Staff to the COO.
What You'll Do
Executive Rhythm of the Business
Own and maintain the integrated calendar of executive forums, planning cycles, and decision points.
Improve the rhythm itself: identify cadences that are duplicative, low-signal, or consuming more executive time than they return, and propose changes.
Make sure each forum has a clear purpose, owner, input set, and decision output — and that they don't collide or duplicate each other.
Board Meetings
Own end-to-end preparation of board materials: build the storyline, partner with Finance and department leaders on the underlying data, and manage review cycles with the ELT.
Maintain a reliable source of truth for board and executive reporting metrics so numbers reconcile across Finance, GTM, and Product reporting.
Synthesize scattered executive inputs into a single, decision-ready artifact — a doc, model, or deck that moves the conversation forward.
Partner with the COO's Executive Assistant, who owns scheduling and logistics, so content and logistics stay in lockstep.
ELT Strategy Days
Help run the quarterly ELT Strategy Days: topic selection, agendas, pre-reads, facilitation materials, and clean capture of every decision with a named owner and date.
Shape Strategy Days around the priorities most likely to propel the business forward rather than a standing agenda.
Carry decisions and action items out of each session, drive them to completion with the accountable ELT member and their department operations team, and bring unresolved items into the next session.
Weekly ELT Meetings
Help run the weekly ELT meeting: topic selection, agendas, pre-reads, facilitation materials, and clean capture of every decision with a named owner and date.
Close the loop between the weekly meeting and Strategy Days. Track decisions and action items across both, drive them to completion with the accountable ELT member and their department operations team, and bring status and open items back into the next session.
Remove blockers rather than just report status, escalate early when something is stuck, and be able to show what measurably changed as a result of these cadences.
SLT Engagements
Lead and facilitate recurring engagement with the SLT — VPs and above — to leverage their perspective and influence, and keep them abreast of happenings across the business.
Strategic Initiatives and cross-functional support
Take on ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives assigned to the COO Office, from initial framing through delivery. Roughly 20% of your capacity is reserved for this unplanned work.
Structure new work quickly with a clear charter: problem statement, success measures, decision rights, stakeholders, and timeline.
Drive projects to measurable outcomes without formal authority, influencing peers and executives across functions.
Transition completed initiatives to a permanent owner with the documentation and mechanisms needed to sustain them.
Skills We're Looking For
Proven experience (5+ years) in program management, business operations, strategy, or chief of staff roles, supporting stakeholders at all levels, up to and including senior executives.
Demonstrated ownership of executive or board-level forums: you've designed agendas, produced pre-reads, captured decisions, and made follow-through stick.
Credible in the room with senior leaders, with the appetite to grow into leading executive forums yourself. Much of the face-to-face facilitation is driven by the Chief of Staff today; you'll build toward taking more of it on.
Systems thinker — you look for the underlying mechanism, not the one-off fix, and you design processes others can run without you.
Owner mentality with a high tolerance for ambiguity; you take unclear requests, define the problem, and drive to a positive outcome without waiting to be told how.
Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a track record of tailoring the same message for an individual contributor, a department leader, and a board audience.
Comfortable with data — able to work in spreadsheets, run ad hoc analysis, pressure-test numbers from other teams, and translate results into a clear recommendation.
Experience with program management tools and methodologies, and a demonstrated ability to run multiple concurrent work streams without losing detail.
Required AI competencies
Use conversational AI systems (like Claude, ChatGPT, and internal chatbots) to research, author, review, and synthesize operational artifacts such as board narratives, process documents, and executive updates.
Build repeatable AI workflows — prompts, skills, or agents — rather than treating AI as a one-off drafting tool.
Evaluate AI output critically, including knowing when the task calls for human judgment instead.
Bonus Skills
Experience preparing board materials at a private, VC- or PE-backed company.
Experience supporting post-merger integration or another period of significant organizational change.
Experience standing up or rationalizing an executive operating cadence from scratch.
Familiarity with BI tooling (Looker) and basic SQL.
Light scripting or low-code automation experience for building internal tools.
Prior experience in B2B SaaS, with working fluency in ARR, NRR, pipeline, and margin.

This is a full-time position based out of our
Denver

ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
At Sentry, Finance plays a critical role in helping the company understand where we're investing, what we're getting in return, and where we can operate more effectively.
We are looking for an FP&A Manager who will help build Sentry's FP&A function while focusing on establishing best-in-class FinOps practices. You'll partner across the business on forecasting and financial analysis, with a significant focus on cloud infrastructure, AI costs, vendor spend, and other areas where better financial visibility can translate directly into better decisions.
You will be expected to understand the economics behind our infrastructure, build the financial models and reporting needed to manage it, identify meaningful opportunities, and work with Engineering and other partners to turn those insights into action.
You'll also operate as a generalist FP&A partner and play an important role in building the processes, models, and operating rhythms that Finance will use as Sentry grows.
You will report to the Director of FP&A.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Own forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for significant areas of Sentry's operations, with particular emphasis on cloud infrastructure, AI-related spend, software, vendors, and other major cost categories.
- Partner closely with Engineering and infrastructure leaders to understand the drivers of cloud and AI spend, translate technical consumption into financial forecasts, and identify opportunities to improve unit economics and gross margin.
- Develop reporting that makes cloud and infrastructure costs understandable and actionable, including trends, cost allocation, unit costs, utilization economics, commitments, and significant variances.
- Help evaluate cloud commitments, reserved capacity, vendor agreements, and other commercial decisions by modeling their financial implications and tradeoffs.
- Build and operate a scalable company-wide expense-management process that gives budget owners clear visibility into their spend, forecasts, and accountability.
- Partner with functional leaders on budgets, forecasts, business cases, and ongoing financial performance.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting, including budget-to-actual analysis, variance explanations, forecast updates, and accrual inputs in partnership with Accounting.
- Support company-wide planning, headcount forecasting, management reporting, and other corporate FP&A work alongside the Director of FP&A.
- Develop models and analyses to answer important business questions, particularly around efficiency, cost structure, gross margin, and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve source data, and replace manual or fragmented finance processes with scalable ones.
- Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Engineering, Procurement and business leaders to ensure financial information leads to action rather than simply producing another report.
YOU'LL LOVE THIS ROLE IF YOU
- Are a self-starter who likes owning a problem from messy data through recommendation and implementation.
- Get genuinely interested in understanding why a cost moves rather than simply reporting that it moved.
- Enjoy working with technical partners and can translate infrastructure or product concepts into financial drivers.
- Like building processes, models, and reporting from scratch and making them simpler each time they run.
- Have strong financial instincts but aren't afraid to get into large or imperfect datasets to find the answer.
- Are comfortable moving between detailed cost analysis and broader company FP&A work.
- Know that good cost management is about helping teams make smarter tradeoffs—not simply telling them to spend less.
- Are comfortable with the pace, ambiguity, and ownership that comes with a growing company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, technology finance, or a related analytical finance role.
- Experience owning budgets, forecasts, budget-to-actual analysis, and financial partnership with business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience building or materially improving financial models, planning processes, cost-management processes, or business-partnering cadences.
- Experience analyzing cloud infrastructure, hosting, AI/LLM, or other usage-driven costs is strongly preferred. Direct FinOps experience is a plus but is not required.
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with NetSuite and modern FP&A or spend-management platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with FinOps concepts including cost allocation, showback/chargeback, commitments, and cloud cost optimization is a plus; FinOps Certified Practitioner or similar training is welcome but not required.
- Strong communication and business-partnering skills, particularly the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences and turn analysis into action.
Not sure you meet every qualification? We encourage you to apply anyway. We're interested in people who are excited about the opportunity, have demonstrated an ability to learn quickly, drive change, and want to help us build a great finance function.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AT SENTRY
Sentry is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its employees and candidates for employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or other legally-protected characteristic. This commitment includes the provision of reasonable accommodations to employees and candidates for employment with physical or mental disabilities who require such accommodations in order to (a) perform the essential functions of their jobs, or (b) seek employment with Sentry. We strive to build a diverse team, with an inclusive culture where every teammate can thrive. Sentry is an open-source company because we believe that everyone, everywhere, should have the ability and tools to make great software. Software should be accessible. That starts with making our industry accessible.
If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, you may contact us at accommodations@sentry.io.

About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Enterprise Systems at 1Password owns the tools and systems the company runs on. We centrally select, administer, integrate, and govern Enterprise Tools so that they work together as an interconnected ecosystem that shapes how 1Password operates. The team is charting new territory: centralizing ownership of company tools, building cross-functional integrations, and enabling the company to adopt new technologies, including AI, responsibly and strategically.
The Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer is a key technical contributor on this team. You'll own the lifecycle and roadmap for a portfolio of Tier 1 enterprise tools, work closely with the team's Staff Engineer, and partner with Security, Finance, Legal, and business teams. You'll also bring practical AI and automation skills to your work. If you enjoy building scalable systems, solving workflow problems with automation, and raising the bar for those around you, we want to hear from you.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within the US or Canada.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of IT or enterprise systems experience, with a track record of building and supporting enterprise systems at scale.
- Hands-on expertise administering, integrating, and optimizing core enterprise platforms such as Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Notion, Jira, Asana, or similar.
- Experience with identity and access management concepts, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and access reviews (Okta preferred).
- Experience with workflow automation and integration tools such as Tines, Okta Workflows, Workato, or APIs and low-code/no-code platforms.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled productivity tools or platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Dust, Claude, Glean), with an understanding of secure and responsible AI adoption.
- Ability to build and communicate a strategic roadmap for a tool or portfolio, and to translate business workflow challenges into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software licensing, procurement, and vendor management (a plus).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a rapidly scaling organization.
- A desire to mentor others and contribute to a positive team culture.
Success in this role looks like:
- Your assigned tools are configured, maintained, and operating reliably, meeting team standards for uptime, security posture, and employee adoption.
- Each tool you own has a documented roadmap aligned with company needs and vendor direction.
- Licenses, renewals, and provisioning are managed efficiently, with clear ownership and no grey zones between IT and the business.
- Integrations and configurations are documented and follow consistent standards.
- AI features and automations in your area are rolled out securely and adopted, with measurable reductions in manual effort.
- Partners across IT, Security, Finance, Legal, and the business see you as a trusted, responsive point of contact.
What you can expect:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of an assigned portfolio of Tier 1 tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Notion, Jira, Asana, Freshservice), including administration, configuration, support, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for your tools, balancing near-term priorities with long-term direction and staying current on vendor roadmaps. Contribute to the team's overall roadmap.
- Manage SSO and SCIM provisioning through Okta, and support access controls, access reviews, and application onboarding and offboarding.
- Implement and maintain configuration standards and governance (e.g., feature enablement, retention policies, compliance guardrails), balancing enterprise-wide consistency with business unit needs.
- Support license management, cost projections, renewals, and vendor relationships, partnering with Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
- Assess new application requests against the team's tiering criteria (adoption scope, security sensitivity, integration complexity, and contract value), and confirm responsibilities with business teams before onboarding or procurement proceeds.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, Tines, Okta Workflows, and other tooling.
- Configure and operate AI features and platforms (e.g., OpenAI Enterprise, Dust, and AI capabilities within Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace), ensuring secure, responsible, and well-supported usage.
- Build and maintain AI-powered workflows and automations that reduce manual effort and streamline operations across teams.
- Contribute technical analysis and recommendations when evaluating new tools and AI capabilities, covering security, privacy, compliance, and fit.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for tool configurations, integrations, and AI and automation usage.
- Provide technical guidance to help employees adopt centralized tools and AI capabilities, in coordination with the AI Working Group and Enterprise L&D.
- Mentor teammates and share knowledge to help build a collaborative, focused, and impactful team.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.

1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $400M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted.
Device Infrastructure Services owns the full lifecycle of hardware and operating systems across 1Password. The team is looking for the Staff Engineer who will lead its next chapter: a deliberate shift from legacy device management patterns towards devops and AI-enabled operations.
You'll be the technical leader of this team, responsible for setting the roadmap for this transformation and making sure it gets executed. This isn't a role where you hand off a roadmap and step back: you'll be in the build alongside the team, coaching engineers and raising the ceiling on what they're capable of. If you're excited by building scalable systems, shaping the strategy behind tools the whole company depends on, and bringing out the best work in the people around you, we want to hear from you.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 7+ years of IT and enterprise endpoint management experience, including 2+ years at a senior or staff IC level, with a track record of building and managing endpoints with Gitops practices.
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of enterprise endpoint management, deep operating system-level experience, and the ability to recognize patterns across a fleet and build fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enable or accelerate IT operations and the judgment to know where AI speeds things up versus where it introduces risk.
- Proven ability to define and drive technical roadmaps, seeing around corners and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution.
- Strong scripting and IaC ability (Bash, Python, and Terraform at minimum) — both writing production-quality automation yourself and reviewing others' code with a critical eye.
- Deep working knowledge of enterprise security fundamentals as they apply to endpoints: encryption, patch/vulnerability management, EDR, least-privilege enforcement, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar).
- Lead through change, collaborate effectively, and mentor engineers while maintaining a focused and impactful team environment.
What you can expect:
- Own the technical direction of our Device Infrastructure Services, the tooling and standards that keep ~2,000 endpoints compliant, configured, and secure.
- Drive the technical direction of a DevOps operating model for the fleet — config-as-code, version control, code review, and CI/CD pipelines in place of manual console changes — and drive adoption of that model across the IT team.
- Lead the adoption of responsible agentic AI across the device team, building the guardrails that decide what agents can act on autonomously and what still needs a human checkpoint.
- Act as the final escalation point for high-severity endpoint incidents, including deep machine-level diagnosis on both macOS and Windows hardware.
- Partner across IT, Security, and product teams building custom solutions and helping push their initiatives across the finish line.
- Assess and pilot new tooling (e.g., MDM platform migrations, patch management systems) and drive build-vs-buy decisions.
- Collaborate with product teams to advise on features from the perspective of a real-world enterprise device deployment, and lead Customer Zero initiatives — piloting and stress-testing our own product against our internal fleet before it reaches customers.
What success looks like:
- Establishing a clear 12-month roadmap for the transition to a GitOps-based operating model.
- Building device health metrics and remediation standards for machine security, performance, and employee experience.
- Developing our AI-assisted operations strategy, with automation milestones that balance speed, human review, security and agentic workflows.
- Supporting the unpredictable release cadence of major OS vendors, and making sure those updates land safely across the org.
- Bringing the team along with you — at 1Password, we Put People First. This role isn't just about leveling up what we can do technically, it's also about coaching the team along the way.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $143,000 USD and $207,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $122,000 CAD and $177,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.

Payward is hiring a HR (People) M&A Lead to own the people side of our M&A activity end to end — from first-pass diligence through close and integration. Reporting directly to our CPO, this is a high-pace, high-volume seat that needs someone who thrives on fast turnarounds and incomplete information. We're looking for an in-house operator with an analyst's mindset who can use AI to move fast through messy data rooms, but whose real edge is judgment — knowing what risks matter and when to deviate.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own the people's workstream of Payward's M&A activity end to end — from first-pass diligence through close and integration.
- Build and own People due diligence questionnaire (DDQ) including data requests and questions to the target, follow-ups and deeper-dive workshops.
- Crunch high-volume, low-structure data rooms — employment contracts, org data, comp and equity files, policies, claims history — using AI and automation to compress review cycles.
- Filter signal from noise: translate hundreds of findings into a short list of flags scored against Payward's risk tolerance, with a clear recommendation attached to each.
- Lead the drafting of the people-side deal mechanics: comp modelling, equity treatment, retention and earn-out structures, and deal-specific considerations that hold up in negotiation with founders.
- Sit in the room with corp dev, legal, finance and People leadership — leverage SMEs and push recommendations upward, defending them with data.
- Act as People M&A program manager during integration after signing: support org design, levelling and comp harmonization, retention execution, and Day 1 people readiness.
- Turn each deal into reusable infrastructure and learnings — playbooks, DDQ templates, risk scoring, and automation that make the next deal faster.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 8+ years across M&A people/HR diligence, integration, total rewards, or corp dev — with hands-on ownership of the people workstream on completed deals.
- A track record of running multi-diligence processes in tandem, to a hard timeline: knowing what to prioritize or defer.
- Strong analytical depth — comfortable modelling comp, equity, dilution, retention cost and integration spend directly, not briefing someone else to do it.
- Global/cross-border deal experience with multi-jurisdiction and/or regulatory change of control employment considerations.
- Demonstrated use of AI and automation to review large document volumes, with judgement about where the model's output can and cannot be trusted.
- Ability to make and communicate risk calls on incomplete information, and to state a position clearly to executive stakeholders.
- Credibility in founder-facing negotiation conversations on comp, equity and retention structures.
- Rigorous confidentiality instincts and comfort operating on live, undisclosed transactions.
- High agency in ambiguity — deals move, scope shifts, and no one hands over a finished process.
NICE TO HAVES
- Crypto, fintech or regulated financial services acquisition experience.
- Experience integrating founder-led or early-stage teams into a larger platform.
- Prior work building a diligence or integration playbook from scratch.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Platform Security Engineer to join our team and help strengthen the security of Supabase’s infrastructure, cloud platform, Kubernetes environments, and containerized workloads as we continue to scale. You’ll work closely with infrastructure, platform, SRE, product engineering, and technical leadership, helping us proactively reduce risk across the systems that run Supabase.
This role is ideal for someone who has deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and large cloud environments and is excited about securing developer infrastructure without slowing teams down. Success in this role means improving the security posture of the platform through pragmatic engineering, clear technical judgment, and scalable guardrails.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you’ll:
- Identify and reduce security risk across AWS, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and platform infrastructure.
- Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and technical risk assessments for platform and infrastructure systems.
- Partner closely with infrastructure, platform, and SRE teams to design practical controls and secure-by-default patterns.
- Improve Kubernetes and container security across areas like workload isolation, RBAC, admission control, secrets, network policy, and runtime hardening.
- Assess container runtime and Linux isolation risks, including capabilities, seccomp/AppArmor, namespaces, cgroups, and container escape scenarios.
- Strengthen AWS security posture across IAM, account boundaries, network controls, logging, detection, encryption, and service configuration.
- Build scalable mechanisms such as automation, guardrails, paved paths, detection, secure defaults, and review frameworks.
- Distinguish between theoretical risk and material platform risk to prioritize security efforts effectively.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have senior-level experience in platform security, cloud security, infrastructure security, container security, or security engineering.
- Have deep practical experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and Linux security fundamentals.
- Have worked in large cloud environments, multi-cluster Kubernetes setups, developer platforms, SaaS platforms, or high-scale infrastructure teams.
- Can reason clearly about identity, networking, workload isolation, runtime security, secrets, supply chain, and blast radius.
- Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences, especially in a written, asynchronous environment.
- Are able to manage security efforts across complex projects with various stakeholders
- Are energized by solving real-world infrastructure security problems and navigating ambiguity while moving quickly.
- Prefer building guardrails, automation, and secure defaults over creating unnecessary process or bottlenecks.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an AI Solutions Strategist, you will sit at the intersection of customers, AI delivery, and Ramp’s core product teams. You will partner with enterprise/strategic customers to deeply understand their finance workflows—especially corporate finance and controllership priorities like close, controls, and spend governance—identify high-impact opportunities for AI and automation, and translate those needs into clear problem statements, solution designs, and actionable feedback for Ramp’s Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.
This role is for someone who can listen carefully, structure ambiguity, and turn on-the-ground learnings into scalable solutions. This role required high proactivity and bias to action.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Discover and diagnose customer needs. Run stakeholder interviews and workflow deep dives with Finance, Procurement, AP, and IT teams. Map end-to-end processes and identify the underlying drivers behind pain points — risk, cost, cycle time, compliance, exception volume, and operational complexity.
- Translate needs into solution requirements. Turn qualitative input into crisp artifacts: problem statements, success metrics, constraints, acceptance criteria, and deployment plans. Balance speed, safety, and scalability across MVPs, iterations, and broader rollouts.
- Partner with technical teams to implement AI workflows. Work closely with Ramp engineers and AI builders to design and ship solutions that meet real customer workflows. Specify data inputs, integrations, governance needs, policy rules, auditability requirements, and edge cases.
- Drive feedback loops into Ramp's product. Synthesize learnings across customers into reusable patterns and product opportunities. Write high-signal briefs for Product and Engineering that explain what customers need, why it matters, and what should be built next.
- Communicate impact and guide executives. Present status, outcomes, and recommendations to customer operators, executives, and internal stakeholders. Quantify impact through time saved, error reduction, improved compliance, faster close, and other business outcomes.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong customer empathy and the ability to earn trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent problem framing: you can turn messy workflows into clear systems and priorities.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating quickly while keeping quality high.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing (briefs, requirements, postmortems) and verbally (workshops, exec readouts).
- A builder mindset: you like shipping, learning, and improving the system.
- Experience in solutions, implementation, product strategy, consulting, or technical program management.
- Strong grounding in corporate finance / controllership workflows, including accounting close, spend governance/controls, budgeting, procurement, and AP operations.
- Experience translating finance requirements into system design and configuration (e.g., ERP/accounting, procurement, expense management, payments), including integrations, data mapping, and controls.
- Ability to partner with finance system owners/admins to drive change management, testing (UAT), and successful rollouts.
- Familiarity with finance operations workflows (AP, procurement, expenses, cards, accounting close).
- Exposure to AI-enabled products, automation, or applied ML (you do not need to be an ML engineer).
- Basic comfort with data concepts and systems integration (APIs, ETL, SQL, spreadsheets, data quality).
WORKING STYLE
We collaborate best when we’re close to the work and close to each other. This role is hybrid in New York, with time in-office to partner tightly with product and engineering teams. Importantly, this role required spending time with customers to understand real workflows, so travel and flexibility are critical to success.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)

- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
