About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is growing fast, and our SOX program needs to keep up. Many of the controls that matter for financial reporting run on engineering systems: who can access production and financial systems, how code changes are reviewed and deployed, and how usage is metered and billed.
We’re hiring a Technical Program Manager to own the technology side of our SOX program. You'll work across engineering, security, GRC, Finance, and Internal Audit to design and run IT controls, drive gaps to closure, and make compliance lighter for engineering teams. You’ll also use Claude to automate evidence collection and control testing, so the program scales without more manual work.
Responsibilities
Own the technology side of the SOX program end-to-end, from planning and control design through evidence, testing, remediation, and year-end reporting
Work with engineering teams to design and roll out IT general controls and IT application controls
Work with engineering teams to build Claude-based workflows, tools, and dashboards to automate evidence collection, control testing, and monitoring that warns engineering teams about compliance issues before an audit finds them
Lead large SOX projects, such as bringing new systems into scope, with clear success criteria, dependencies, and delivery dates
Turn control requirements into concrete engineering work with clear scope, owners, and deadlines, and a design that fits how our teams already build and ship
Build processes to evaluate new products, systems, and major engineering changes for SOX impact before they ship, so the right controls are in place from the start
Build strong working relationships with engineering control owners, help them understand what their controls require, and support them in producing evidence for auditor requests
Investigate control failures down to root cause, and drive engineering teams to fix them in time for the fix to be tested
Help keep an up-to-date list of the systems, apps, and infrastructure in SOX scope, with an owner named for each control
Track system migrations and scope changes, and make sure controls are updated as systems move
Build metrics and dashboards on control health, open findings, and remediation progress
Give regular updates on program status, risks, and remediation to technical leadership
Keep improving the program: simplify control processes, remove manual steps, and raise the share of controls that run cleanly
You may be a good fit if you
Have 7+ years of experience in technical program management, IT audit, or technology compliance, with a focus on SOX and IT general controls
Have run or supported a SOX program at a public or pre-IPO company
Have used automation or AI tools to make compliance work faster and more reliable
Know IT general controls and IT application controls in depth, including access management, change management, and application controls, and how they support financial reporting
Have worked closely with external auditors
Understand cloud infrastructure and engineering workflows, such as code review, CI/CD, and cloud access, well enough to work through a control design with an engineer
Can explain technical risks and control gaps clearly to executives and other non-technical audiences
Are comfortable driving outcomes across engineering, finance, and audit teams that don't report to you
Strong candidates may also have
A background in software, systems, or security engineering
Hands-on experience building with Claude Code or other AI tools
Experience with automated controls in revenue or order-to-cash systems, such as billing and usage metering
Experience with financial systems such as ERP and billing platforms, and the controls around them
Experience building or rebuilding a SOX program at a fast-growing company
Familiarity with other security and IT frameworks, such as NIST or ISO 27001

We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Seek Excellence.
Be Selective To Be Effective.
Be Highly Aligned, Loosely Coupled.
Disagree Transparently.
Encourage Independent Decision-Making.
Build Dream Teams.
Who You Are:
You are a hands-on construction leader who has delivered large-scale, mission-critical data center or comparable infrastructure from start of construction through commissioning and turnover. You know what it takes to run a major building on a live campus: sequencing trades, protecting the schedule, and keeping safety and quality from becoming trade-offs. You lead teams from the front, hold contractors and partners to a high standard, and raise issues early and honestly. You are equally comfortable walking the building with a superintendent and presenting schedule, cost, and risk to senior leadership. You believe the digital economy depends on infrastructure delivered right, and delivered on time.
What You'll Do:
As Senior Manager, Data Center Construction at Galaxy's Helios campus in Afton, TX, you will be Galaxy's accountable leader for construction of a large-scale data center building on the campus. You will report to the VP, Campus Construction Manager and work alongside peer Senior Managers who each own a building or scope, with shared accountability for the safety, schedule, cost, and quality standards that keep the campus aligned. You will own your building from preconstruction handoff through commissioning and turnover to operations, and you will lead the on-site Galaxy team and contractor relationships that make it happen.
Key Responsibilities:
Own Data Center Facility Delivery: Serve as the single point of accountability for construction of a large-scale data center facility, from GMP handoff through energization, Level 1-5 commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and turnover to operations. Drive the facility to its safety, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
Manage Schedule and Progress: Own the building schedule and track progress against baseline. Identify critical-path threats early, and direct recovery and mitigation plans before they affect milestones. Provide clear schedule inputs to the campus master schedule.
Manage Project Risk and Contingency: Maintain a quantified risk register covering schedule, cost, supply chain, labor, weather, and trade-interface risks. Control owner contingency drawdown, run structured risk reviews with the GC and trade partners, and drive mitigation before exposure becomes impact.
Drive Safety Culture: Set and enforce Galaxy's safety standards at the building level. Partner with Galaxy EHS and contractor safety leadership to sustain a zero-incident environment, and hold the team accountable for leading indicators as well as outcomes.
Oversee Contractors and Trade Partners: Manage the day-to-day and executive-level relationship with the general contractor and key trade partners. Ensure alignment on milestones, quality, safety, staffing, and commercial performance, and escalate issues early.
Control Cost and Change: Oversee pay applications, change orders, forecasts, and budget tracking for your building under the GMP. Enforce disciplined change management and provide accurate cost reporting to campus and executive leadership.
Lead Integrated Project Controls and Forecasting: Own the facility's integrated cost, schedule, and cash flow forecast on a monthly cycle. Validate GC-reported progress against independent percent-complete and earned value analysis, report cost-to-complete and forecast variances, and give development and finance leadership a reliable view of capital deployment and funding requirements.
Administer the Commercial Framework: Administer the GMP agreement and related owner contracts, including notices, allowances, buyout and savings, delay and impact claims, backcharges, retainage, and lien waivers. Protect Galaxy's commercial position and resolve disputes at the lowest level possible, partnering with Legal as needed.
Manage OFCI Integration: Work closely with Pre-Construction and the OFCI procurement and logistics teams to ensure UPS, generators, chillers, switchgear, and other owner-furnished equipment arrive, are set, and are installed without impacting the construction schedule.
Drive Utility and Energization Readiness: Coordinate with the serving utility, interconnect and substation teams, and Galaxy's power development group to align permanent power availability, energization sequencing, and test windows with construction and commissioning milestones. Treat power delivery as a critical-path item and escalate early.
Lead Commissioning and Turnover: Partner with the on-site commissioning manager, 3rd party Cx agent, and operations teams to ensure systematic testing, closeout, and clean turnover of the building to operations.
Manage Customer Delivery Commitments: Serve as the construction lead for customer-facing delivery milestones, including ready-for-service dates. Ensure facility handoff meets contractual commitments and the customer's acceptance criteria.
Ensure Quality: Enforce Galaxy's QA/QC standards on your building. Escalate and resolve systemic quality issues with contractors and design partners.
Coordinate Across the Campus: Work with peer Senior Managers and the VP to resolve cross-building conflicts in resources, laydown, site logistics, access, utilities, and sequencing.
Advance Lean and Prefabrication: Apply Galaxy's modularization, prefabrication, and lean delivery initiatives on your building, and capture lessons learned so each building is more repeatable than the last.
Manage Regulatory and Inspection Requirements: Work with local authorities, inspectors, utilities, and consultants to ensure compliance with codes and permit requirements.
Report to Leadership: Provide frequent, candid status updates to senior leadership and communicate building status, risks, and forecasts to internal stakeholders across Pre-Construction, Design Engineering, Operations, and Security.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience delivering large-scale mission-critical projects, with at least 3 years in a senior role leading a project or building team through construction.
Demonstrated success delivering a data center, or comparable mission-critical facility, from start of construction through commissioning and turnover.
Working knowledge of construction delivery models (including GMP), risk management, and contractor oversight.
Technical fluency across MEP, commissioning, civil, and structural systems.
Experience integrating OFCI equipment and supporting commissioning.
Strong command of cost control, change management, and schedule analysis.
Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and SharePoint.
Full-time, on-site presence at Helios (Afton, TX)
What You Bring:
A track record of leading and developing high-performing construction teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders.
Sound judgment under pressure and a bias toward early, honest escalation.
A commitment to safety, quality, and executional excellence.

At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
Engagement Management is a new and fast-growing practice at ClickUp, and it's quickly becoming central to how we serve our enterprise customers. Our EMs bring program leadership, service delivery and change management together in one role. As a ClickUp Senior Engagement Manager you will lead the formation and orchestration of post-sale strategy and execution for the company’s largest and most strategic clients. We're looking for someone hungry, who excels in building, and who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.
Here, Engagement Managers are the single point of accountability for outcomes. You own everything between the contract being signed and the client seeing measurable results: what was sold gets delivered, on time and on margin, and we can prove it worked.
You'll lead enterprise SaaS implementations across the full engagement lifecycle, from shaping scope in pre-sales, mobilizing the team and delivery, go-live, stabilization and a clean handover to the account team. You'll run work-stream programs with Paid TAMs, AI specialists, Product and Engineering, and the client's own project team, and you'll be the trusted advisor to the client's executive sponsor.
Simply put: you are the single point of accountability for delivery, the client's partner in getting value from ClickUp, and a thought leader for how we deliver.
YOUR ROLE
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary client contact for delivery
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring delivery remains aligned to client objectives and contractual commitments.
- Build trusted relationships with client executive sponsors and program leads at VP and C-level, acting as their primary point of contact for delivery.
- Navigate complex enterprise stakeholder environments and competing priorities across client functions (IT, PMO, business sponsors, procurement) and broker alignment when they conflict.
- Project Delivery Oversight
- Deliver engagements against agreed scope, schedule, hours budget and quality, using rigorous change control to protect timelines and delivery margin.
- Translate customer business requirements into internal deliverables and milestones
- Own engagement governance, including kickoffs, weekly working sessions, sponsor check-ins and SteerCos, and provide clear, concise status reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing delivery culture while providing coaching, direction and support.
- Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies through the RAID log, and act as the primary escalation point.
- Manage engagement financials, including hours burn, forecasting, utilisation and margin, flagging overrun risk early and agreeing recovery plans.
- Drive AI adoption
- Guide clients from manual workflows to AI-assisted and agent-driven operations, and own post-go-live adoption outcomes.
- Drive Value and Business Outcomes
- Identify expansion opportunities through delivery and co-sell with Account Executives, bringing the delivery credibility that secures follow-on work.
- Establish a value baseline before configuration begins, track benefits through go-live, and produce the value assessment that underpins renewal and expansion.
- Governance
- Design and run governance mechanisms
- Track delivery efficacy, timelines, value realization and customer experience
- Create continuous-improvement mechanisms
- Change Management & Communication
- Own communications around delivery status, risks and outcomes
- Manage escalation and communication across customer/internal teams
- Assess change readiness and resistance across impacted teams; build sponsor and champion networks to carry the rollout.
- Design the communications and enablement plan with the client, and sequence go-live to match the organization's capacity for change.
- Role Development
- Contribute to building the Engagement Management practice by iterating on templates, playbooks and AI workflows that make every engagement faster and more consistent.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of software and/or services delivery experience, with at least 2 years as the accountable project, program or engagement lead.
- Proven track record taking enterprise SaaS deployments from kickoff through go-live and into adoption, ideally in work management, PSA, CRM, ITSM or collaboration platforms.
- Strong grasp of SaaS implementation fundamentals: workspace and data architecture, permissions and SSO, integrations, data migration, change management and enablement. No coding required, but you can challenge an unrealistic technical scope.
- Comfortable with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery, and knowing which one the client actually needs.
- Commercial acumen: you've managed engagement budgets, SoWs, change requests and margin, and you know when to push for expansion vs when to stabilize.
- Executive presence: you can run a SteerCo, deliver bad news early with a recovery plan, and hold a line on scope with a CIO in the room.
- Experience leading cross-functional and distributed teams you don't directly manage, across client, partner and internal resources.
- Strategic judgment to separate genuine product gaps from client process or training gaps.
- Hands-on with AI: you already use AI to work faster, and you can credibly advise clients on where agents and automation fit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Status reports people actually read.
Nice to have: Experience in work management or SaaS software, professional services firms, agencies or regulated industries. PMP Certification.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE
- Impact: Lead high-visibility enterprise engagements with global brands, and see the result in their day-to-day work.
- Build something: Engagement Management is a new function. You'll help define the methodology, tooling and AI workflows that become the standard.
- AI at the centre: Work on the frontier of AI-driven work management, with ClickUp Brain and Super Agents in your own delivery toolkit.
- Career growth: A clear path from Engagement Manager to Senior or Principal Engagement Manager.
- Community: Learn alongside Paid TAMs, AI specialists and delivery leaders across EMEA and NA.

Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Louisiana to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbor, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand.
You will travel regularly within Louisiana, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with parish presidents and councils, police juries, mayors and municipal officials, parish planning and zoning bodies, port, levee, and drainage districts, state economic development agencies, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Louisiana data center markets you cover
Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations
Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate
Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media
Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement
Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced
Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging
Coordinate charitable giving, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing nonprofit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use, including flood risk, storm resilience, and how large electricity needs are served by local utilities
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local or state government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with parish and municipal governments and a broad set of community stakeholders on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings, including town halls, hearings, and press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Louisiana or willing to relocate there, and prepared to travel regularly across the state
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the parish and municipal level, including local review of industrial tax incentives
Experience in communities with a long industrial, energy, or port presence, and an understanding of coastal, flood, and hurricane resilience concerns
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
Experience engaging with Tribal nations in Louisiana, including familiarity with consultation processes and Tribal sovereignty
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$265,000
—
$295,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
