adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile app growth and monetization, challenging the status quo of adtech by redefining how apps acquire users and generate revenue. Our two products, Playtime Arcade and adjoe Ads, sit at opposite ends of the mobile advertising spectrum: rewarded engagement and programmatic in-app advertising. Together they run on 13% of the world's smartphones, connecting advertisers, publishers, and hundreds of millions of users, with one goal: making mobile advertising work better for everyone in the ecosystem.
Next-Gen Machine Intelligence for Scalable Discovery & Engagement
The Data Science Research team builds foundational ML representations and advanced AI capabilities that enhance both Playtime and adjoe Ads. Operating as a horizontal deep-tech layer, the team leverages advanced AI and deep learning approaches—specifically generative approaches —to deliver critical systems such as high-dimensional user embeddings, general content understanding and sequential recommendation. These frameworks scale adjoe's products beyond standard industry limitations, utilizing behavioral and transactional data from over 770 million users.
The team operates at the intersection of bleeding-edge R&D and high-scale production engineering, acting as the company’s internal science bar raiser and primary consulting layer for complex ML bottlenecks. The stack is optimized for deep learning and heavy data throughput: PyTorch and [Ray/Hugging Face] for training and fine-tuning foundation models, Trino and Athena for querying massive user-behavior data lakes, and dedicated GPU infrastructure for heavy workloads. The full lifecycle of these AI capabilities is owned by the team—from academic paper translation and offline prototyping to deploying core algorithmic frameworks built to sustain high-throughput, realtime production environments.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
- PhD or equivalent research depth, with a production track record. You have a PhD in CS, Statistics, Math, or Physics, or an MSc with extensive industry research, and publications in top-tier venues like SIGIR, KDD, NeurIPS, or ICLR. You've spent 4+ years building large-scale recommender systems in high-throughput environments: AdTech, e-commerce, or social.
- You translate research into production, not just prototypes. You distill SOTA research into robust, production-ready code optimized for sub-millisecond latency. At adjoe, that means architecting multi-stage recommendation pipelines, Generative Retrieval, Deep Ranking, and Re-ranking, serving millions of requests across a stack built on 770 million users' behavioral data.
- Deep expertise in PyTorch and large-scale model optimization. You have hands-on experience with high-concurrency optimization, model quantization, and distillation, the engineering side of getting large generative models to run under extreme production constraints, not just in research environments.
- Content understanding and embeddings are core to your work. You research and develop information-rich user and ad embeddings using unsupervised and generative approaches, directly improving the quality of predictions across both Playtime and adjoe Ads.
- Raises the technical bar around them. You lead architectural debates, mentor junior scientists, and drive the team's research direction without needing a roadmap handed to you.
🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
About the Team
The Platform Hiring Team (PHT) is building a centralized, technology-enabled hiring engine for repeatable, high-volume roles across supported DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt businesses.
You'll join Platform Hiring Operations, PHT's business-facing team. This team owns demand, market context, and pipeline health: translating business needs into hiring plans, keeping stakeholders ahead of risk, and clearing blockers before they reach the execution team.
About the Role
You'll own business readiness, attraction, and pipeline health for Wolt Market across the North region. You'll translate business needs into hiring plans, validate demand against strategy and cost, coordinate Marketing and sourcing partners, activate roles when requirements are complete, and monitor progress against hiring dates.
You'll advise business leaders on hiring strategy, market conditions, timing, location, quality, and delivery trade-offs using funnel and talent-market evidence. When pipeline volume declines, you'll coordinate targeted sourcing interventions and ensure the execution team has sufficient pipeline. You'll proactively coordinate blockers across onboarding, background checks, training capacity, HR, and local operations.
You'll identify recurring friction and work with the Platform Hiring Manager and PM Team on scalable improvements, automation, and AI adoption. You'll own market and business exceptions that require context beyond the standard platform workflow and maintain clear stakeholder communication and portfolio documentation.
You're excited about this opportunity because ..
Own the business partnership for Wolt Market hiring across the North region.
Collect, validate, and translate hiring demand against workforce strategy, timing, and cost expectations.
Set up approved headcount and role requirements in the active hiring platform.
Own relationships with Marketing, Employer Brand, and sourcing partners for top-of-funnel strategy.
Use historical funnel performance to establish the sourcing and application volume required for delivery.
Activate roles with the Platform Hiring team and maintain clear handoffs, service expectations, and priorities.
Monitor pipeline health, conversion, drop-off, and hiring dates and provide proactive business updates.
Advise business leaders on hiring strategy, attraction, market conditions, location, timing, quality, and delivery trade-offs using funnel and talent-market evidence.
Deploy targeted sourcing interventions or coordinate specialist sourcing support when pipeline volume declines.
Partner with low-volume recruiting teams and business leaders where work crosses operating-model boundaries.
Coordinate blockers across onboarding, background checks, training capacity, HR, and local operations.
Own market and business exceptions that require context beyond the standard platform workflow.
Support approved candidate-facing exceptions, including local-language communication, offer delivery, or low-volume work, while maintaining the standard platform workflow wherever possible.
Escalate recurring friction with evidence, volume, impact, and a recommended path to resolution.
Identify automation and AI use cases, adopt approved solutions, and track their effect on manual work and decision speed.
Maintain accurate portfolio documentation, decisions, risks, and source-of-truth reporting.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the Platform Hiring operating model through practical feedback and evidence from the Wolt Market portfolio.
We're excited about you because
You have 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, high-volume hiring, recruiting operations, or a consultative program role.
You have 3+ years of experience working with, managing, and influencing stakeholders across functions.
You have experience translating hiring demand into practical hiring plans and coordinating sourcing, conversion, offers, and onboarding dependencies.
You are comfortable owning a defined business portfolio and proactively managing its hiring risks and priorities.
You have confidence using hiring data and funnel performance to challenge assumptions and recommend action.
You communicate clearly and proactively, with strong business judgment and a focus on candidate experience.
You can coordinate effectively across Operations, HR, Workforce Planning, Marketing, Employer Brand, and Learning and Development.
You're comfortable with Fountain, Greenhouse, dashboards, workflow automation, continuous improvement, and light program management.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.

The role and its impact
As our Data Science Manager, you will look after a small team of 3 Data Scientists within Marketing Data Science, and you will stay close to the data yourself. You will be the people manager for data scientists based in Australia, the UK and South Africa, while personally owning marketing measurement for North America, including campaign and event measurement, churn analysis and funnel effectiveness.
Your work shapes how quickly and how confidently marketing decisions get made at Xero. You will bring AI-driven insight generation and agentic analytics into everyday delivery, so the pod spends less time assembling reports and more time on the questions that move the business. You will also set the operating rhythm that helps a team spread across timezones prioritise well, share the load and keep delivery sustainable, and you will present complex analysis simply so that insight turns into decisions people act on.
The team and how they connect
Marketing Data Science helps Xero deliver digital, customer and marketing outcomes through insight that is increasingly AI-augmented. The wider team sits across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, South Africa and North America, so async ways of working, shared documentation and rotating meeting times are part of everyday life. You will work alongside other Data Science leads and partner closely with regional marketing teams, who rely on the pod as a thinking partner rather than a reporting service.
Initially, you will focus on
➤ Working across SQL, Python, BigQuery, Google Analytics, Mixpanel and GTM, with dashboards and visualisation tools that people genuinely use.
➤ Campaign and event measurement for North America, so marketing teams can see what is working and where to invest next.
➤ Churn analysis and funnel effectiveness work that shapes acquisition, retention, engagement and personalisation.
➤ Embedding AI-driven insight generation and agentic analytics into the pod's day to day delivery, reducing time to insight across regions.
Where and how you can work
This role is based in Vancouver, where our office is set up for collaboration, focus work and connection, with meeting rooms, quiet spaces and desks ready whenever you drop in. We work flexibly and take a hybrid approach, and Boost Days are our weekly in-office days with catered meals and activities that support local small businesses.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
➤ You will bring practical marketing measurement experience across campaigns, events, churn and funnel effectiveness, and you will Go Further by turning findings into recommendations people can act on.
➤ Working knowledge of SQL, solid Python, and a strong foundation in statistics, experimentation and causal thinking, with familiarity with Google Analytics, Mixpanel and BigQuery, form part of your everyday toolkit.
➤ You will Go Fast by using AI-driven and agentic analytics to cut the time it takes to get from question to insight.
➤ Coaching people you rarely share a timezone with comes naturally to you, and you will Go Together by creating rhythms that keep everyone connected and supported.
➤ Your communication flexes easily between technical and non-technical audiences, and between local and global ones.
➤ Comfort with ambiguity and loose direction will help you Go Bold, shaping what the team looks at next rather than waiting for the brief.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.
Compensation & Total Rewards
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - ensuring your value is recognized through a holistic lens that includes base salary, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000 CAD.
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
- Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: World-class health, wellness, and retirement programs. Xero Perks https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ including Wellbeing days, generous leave, and dedicated professional development budgets.
This is a posting for an existing vacancy.

You will own your work end to end, from the details of a single stuck deal to the executive readout on how the partnership is performing.
Key responsibilities
Own the co-sell engine day to day: design joint sales plays with Microsoft around the strongest enterprise use cases, run account mapping with Microsoft sellers, and turn introductions into working groups and joint opportunities that show up as pipeline
Keep deals moving through Azure Marketplace, including private offers, billing setup, and partner attribution; track every opportunity through that process, know where it is stuck and who needs to act, and work with both sides until it closes
Run the regular pipeline and escalation rhythm with Microsoft
Give Anthropic and Microsoft leaders a clear view of what is working and what is blocked
Bring field insight back to our product and go-to-market teams
Own at least one major joint initiative with Microsoft, such as a flagship event, a product workstream, or deal operations
Minimum qualifications
Experience owning a revenue or pipeline number through a partner or co-sell motion, with results you can point to
Working knowledge of how enterprise deals transact through a cloud marketplace, including hands-on experience unblocking stuck deals
Strong attention to detail and operational rigor, with the ability to turn that detail into a clear, concise story for executives
A record of taking full ownership of your work: closing loops and keeping stakeholders informed proactively
Ability to keep a stalled deal or program moving through repeated blockers until it is resolved
Ability to build trust across a large, matrixed partner organization, with field sellers and their leaders alike
Preferred qualifications
Experience selling or partnering around AI, ML, or developer platform products
Direct experience with Microsoft's partner ecosystem, such as Partner Center, Azure Marketplace, and the co-sell program
Experience selling into financial services, healthcare and life sciences, or the public sector

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
