Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com's Process Architecture pillar designs how operations should work. This role builds what that looks like in practice.
You'll use modern AI-assisted development tools, Cursor, Claude Code, n8n, and LLM APIs, to rapidly prototype and ship internal tools that eliminate manual effort across our operational teams. Your primary customers are Disputes, Due Diligence, and Transaction Monitoring: high-volume, high-stakes teams where the right automation meaningfully reduces analyst burden and improves decision quality.
You'll move fast. You'll take processes that currently live in spreadsheets and manual case queues and turn them into something that mostly runs itself. Process Architects redesign how work flows; you make the new flow real.
What You'll Do
- Use AI-assisted development (Cursor, Claude Code) to prototype and ship tools for operational teams - fast.
- Build workflow automations that connect case management systems, document stores, APIs, and LLMs into end-to-end pipelines
- Create analyst-facing interfaces, triage tools, summary generators using self-built applications, Retool, or similar.
- Apply LLMs where they reduce cognitive load: classification, case summarisation, structured extraction, decision support.
- Embed with Disputes, CDD, Periodic Review, and Transaction Monitoring to learn how analysts actually work - not how the process doc says they do.
- Translate vague pain points i.e "this part takes forever" into shipped tools in days or weeks, not quarters.
- Demo early, iterate based on what analysts actually use versus ignore.
- Treat every tool as a product: instrument usage, capture feedback, measure time saved or quality gained.
- Document what you build and share reusable patterns so good ideas compound.
What We're Looking For
We care more about what you've built and how you think than years of experience or formal credentials.
Must-haves
- You've used Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar to build something real, a script, a tool, a side project, that solved an actual problem. Not just tutorials
- Comfortable in Python, or willing to be within weeks.
- Basic API fluency: you can read a doc, make a request, parse the response, and chain a few calls
- Familiarity with at least one LLM API. You've written a prompt, gotten structured output back, and understood why it sometimes goes wrong
- Bias to ship - you'd rather get a rough version in front of users on Friday than a polished version in three weeks
- Curiosity. You're the kind of person who opens the hood - you want to understand how things work, not just use them
Nice-to-haves
- Workflow automation tools (Zapier, n8n, Make)
- Retool, Gradio, or similar lightweight UI frameworks
- Git, basic SQL, or comfort with JSON/CSV at scale
- Exposure to payments, fraud, compliance, or risk operations - even tangentially
- A portfolio, GitHub, or demo you can walk us through
Additional Information

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
Runway is rapidly building the leading ecosystem of generative models, bringing the best models from AI labs around the world to our users alongside our own. We are looking for an IC to source, activate, and scale relationships across Runway's growing portfolio of model partners. This is a role for someone who wants to own whatever needs owning, take new models from first conversation to launch, and write the playbook where none exists yet. You will work closely across Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own a broad portfolio of model partners end to end, across modalities
- Track the model landscape relentlessly: spot new labs and releases early and bring the strongest ones to the team as candidates for integration
- Take new partners from zero to launched: source, structure and negotiate commercial terms, then close with Legal and Finance
- Be the partner's main point of contact through launch, working closely with our engineering team
- Build deep, trusted relationships with founders, BD leads and research teams at our partners, and turn those relationships into early access, better terms and joint launches
- Run the portfolio with rigor: set check-in cadences, monitor relationship health, and spot and escalate risk early
- Track usage, spend and margin by partner and model, and use that data to decide where to invest, renegotiate or step back
- Partner with Marketing and our partners on co-marketing for model launches
- Build the frameworks and tools that let the function scale as the ecosystem grows
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 5+ years of experience across some combination of partnerships, business development, GTM, consulting, or founding/operating, with a track record of having owned outcomes end to end
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements, ideally usage-based, API or platform deals
- Genuine obsession with generative AI: you know the labs, you try new models the day they ship, and you have opinions on what makes one good
- Demonstrated range: you've done the deal and the integration and the launch
- High technical aptitude for understanding complex technologies, tools, systems, and issues
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to turn usage and spend data into a clear recommendation
- Ability to manage many relationships and priorities at once in a fast-paced environment without dropping threads
- Clear, concise communication, from a startup founder to a big-lab partnerships team to a Runway engineer in the same day
- A strong bias towards action and belief that no task is too small for you
- Highly resourceful, with the ability to create structure and work autonomously amid ambiguity
- New York-based preferred
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

About the Role
We’re hiring an
Organic Content Strategist for a US DTC gifting brand
to work remotely with their team.
The brand makes sentimental, gift-led products built around personal milestones like births and weddings. You’ll own their organic presence on Instagram and TikTok, from strategy to execution. That means planning the content calendar, creating and editing posts, and turning creator content into social posts that carry real emotion rather than reading like product marketing.
You’ll work in a small team directly with leadership and an outsourced agency layer. You’ll also partner closely with the brand’s Affiliate & Partnerships Manager, turning the creator content they bring in into organic posts.
Job Responsibilities
Day to Day
Own the brand’s organic presence across Instagram and TikTok.
Create and edit static and video content using company assets, creator content and product samples.
Source creator-generated content and shape it into engaging organic posts.
Do light video editing and adapt content for cross-platform use.
Manage the posting cadence and the organic content calendar.
Strategy & Collaboration
Develop and execute a creative content strategy aligned with brand goals and trends.
Monitor trends, especially US trends, and translate them into on-brand social content.
Work with the affiliate/outreach role so creator content lines up with the social strategy.
Requirements
Proven experience both planning and executing organic social media strategy, not one or the other.
Experience creating content specifically for Instagram and TikTok.
Light video editing ability.
Comfortable using AI tools, Canva or similar content tools.
Creative and trend-savvy, with a strong visual eye.
Strategic, but also hands-on and execution-oriented.
Idea-driven, culturally aware and proactive.
Cultural fluency with a US audience, since the role reads and reacts to US trends.
Availability to work EST hours is preferred.
Benefits
$3,000+ USD per month.
Full-time, 40 hours a week, as an international contractor.
100% remote work flexibility from anywhere.

Work From Home
Location: Canada
About the Role
You will be the person who makes our AI better at selling. You will read its conversations, notice what is working and what is not, and change the instructions it follows so the next thousand conversations go better.
You do not need to know everything on day one. We will teach you our tools, our playbooks and how to write and test prompts. What we cannot teach is the instinct for conversations, a feel for sales, and the curiosity to dig into the data and ask why.
What You'll Do
Review AI-drafted text messages each day, and approve, edit or rewrite them before they send.
Spot patterns across conversations, such as an opener that gets replies but no orders, and figure out the cause.
Update each brand's prompts and playbook to fix problems at the source, then test the change before it goes live.
Respond to brand requests and turn them into playbook updates.
Help launch new brands: deep research on their brand, write the persona and opening messages, and check that offers work.
Run and track A/B tests, and report what won.
Requirements
You read people well. From one text you can tell whether a shopper is ready to buy, has a question, or is done, and you reply the way a real person would.
You have sales instinct. You answer an objection and then ask for the sale, without arguing or pushing the customer away.
You are curious about data. You can open a table of conversations and ask the right questions: how many, compared to what, at which brand, since when. You notice when a number looks off and go find out why.
You fix the cause, not the symptom. When the AI says something wrong, you look for the reason (a missing fact, a vague rule, two rules that conflict) and fix the instruction so it does not happen again.
You are comfortable with AI tools. You use ChatGPT, Claude or similar tools regularly and understand that how you ask shapes what you get back.
You are online. These are live conversations. You are responsive during working hours and quick to pick things up in Slack.
You learn fast and like feedback. You pick up new tools quickly and want to get better each week.
Nice to Have
Experience in sales (SDR, BDR, retail or any role with a close rate), customer support, or live chat.
Experience at a DTC brand or ecommerce agency.
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Postscript or similar tools.
Spreadsheet skills, or basic SQL.
Something you have built or automated with AI on your own.
What We'll Teach You
Our console, approval queue and playbook system.
How to write, test and ship prompt changes.
Shopify basics, discount codes and how they combine.
How we run and read A/B tests.

Role purpose
Lead the development and application of digital twins to improve clinical trial design and support evidence-based clinical development decisions. The role prioritizes digital-twin, simulation, and AI/ML expertise, supported by clinical-development experience and close partnership with trial-design experts.
Position overview
You will join a multidisciplinary clinical development environment and partner with clinical scientists, physicians, biostatisticians, pharmacometricians, biomarker experts, data scientists, data engineers, and other stakeholders. You will translate clinical development questions into quantitative strategies and deliver interpretable analyses that inform protocol design, patient selection, endpoint strategy, dosing, operational planning, and decision-making under uncertainty.
The role prioritizes digital twins as the primary capability for simulating patients, disease trajectories, treatment response, and clinical trials. The successful candidate will bring strong digital-twin, simulation, and AI/ML expertise, along with sufficient clinical-development knowledge to work effectively with trial teams. Deeper trial-design expertise can be developed through close collaboration with clinical scientists, biostatisticians, and pharmacometricians.
Key responsibilities
Digital-twin development and validation
· Lead the design, development, and evaluation of digital twins of patients, disease trajectories, treatment response, or clinical trials using clinical trial and relevant external data.
· Combine mechanistic, statistical, causal, and machine learning approaches to create fit-for-purpose digital twins that can be simulated under alternative populations, interventions, dosing strategies, endpoints, or trial designs.
· Define use cases and contexts of use with clinical and quantitative experts so each digital twin addresses a specific trial-design or development decision.
· Assess calibration, validation, robustness, transportability, uncertainty, and practical relevance using appropriate internal and external evaluation strategies.
· Develop reproducible workflows and reusable digital-twin components that can be applied across programs or therapeutic areas.
Clinical trial design and quantitative decision support
· Partner with trial teams to frame development questions and evaluate design options, including target populations, eligibility criteria, enrichment strategies, comparators, endpoints, visit schedules, dosing strategies, and operational tradeoffs.
· Use digital twins and complementary simulation methods to compare plausible scenarios, characterize uncertainty, and support model-informed decision-making.
· Work closely with statisticians and pharmacometricians so analyses complement established trial-design methods and align with clinical and regulatory objectives.
· Communicate assumptions, limitations, and decision-relevant insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
