Location: Helsinki, Finland About Wolt At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. About the Team Cx App Foundations is a platform organisation within our global Cx organisation. It provides shared consumer foundations and platform capabilities used by engineering teams across Wolt, DoorDash, and Deliveroo. Within this organisation, the Velocity team owns the paved road for consumer app development across mobile and web: shared SDKs and client foundations, integration patterns and multi-brand customisation, migration playbooks and reference implementations, and developer tooling that makes building on shared foundations fast and safe. Our mission is to reduce the cost, time, and risk of building consumer experiences across platforms and brands. Product teams own customer-facing experiences; our job is to make sure they can spend their time on delivering delightful experiences. The team is AI-native: AI is a default part of how we design, build, and ship software. About the Role As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of experienced engineers across mobile and web, collaborating closely with product teams, design, and adjacent platform organisations across three brands. Your primary responsibility will be owning the team's roadmap and delivery of shared client foundations, and driving their adoption across the organisation, so that product teams ship delightful customer experiences without rebuilding the foundations under them. You will be a key player in keeping the team's operating model healthy: clear intake from stakeholders, predictable delivery, and support expectations that keep the platform from drifting into a general escalation queue. You will also guide architectural and system design decisions with your tech leads. You will stay hands-on: contributing code, reviews, and prototypes alongside the team is part of the job. This role is ideal for a leader who has run platforms, SDKs, or shared services for other engineering teams, communicates clearly across brands and time zones, and wants their impact measured through what other teams achieve with the foundations you ship. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Own the platform roadmap - the shared SDKs, client foundations, and developer tooling the team ships - and sequence it against the migration and adoption goals of the three brands Drive adoption of the shared foundations by partnering with product teams, running onboarding and rollout support, and making the supported path the easiest path Lead, coach, and grow experienced mobile and web engineers, keeping growth conversations, calibration, and feedback loops running Keep the team's operating model healthy: clear intake (stakeholder management, shared-platform, product-specific, or exception work), supported capabilities with entry criteria and support expectations, and predictable delivery Guide architectural and system design decisions for client foundations that three brands and multiple app platforms depend on Stay hands-on by contributing code and reviews alongside the team, and champion AI-native development practices Grow the team through hiring Our humble expectations You have 3+ years of experience managing engineers, including a team with senior engineers You have a solid background (5+ years) in mobile or web engineering, with enough technical depth to hold your own in architecture discussions about client foundations You use AI tooling fluently in your day-to-day work and stay close to the code You have run a platform, SDK, or shared service that other teams depend on, and know how to treat internal customers as customers You work across boundaries naturally: product teams, design, other platform organisations, data/analytics and stakeholders in other locations and time zones You hold a high bar for engineering quality and can navigate production incidents and release tradeoffs with calm structure You are based in Helsinki, Finland What we offer A platform leadership role with real leverage: the foundations the team owns shape how consumer experiences get built across Wolt, DoorDash, and Deliveroo, and your roadmap decisions multiply across every product team that builds on them. Next steps The position will be filled as soon as we find the right person, so make sure to apply as soon as you realize you really, really want to join us! The compensation will be a combination of monthly pay and DoorDash RSUs. The latter makes it exceptionally easy to be excited about our company growing and doing well, as you’ll own a piece of the pie. Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel. Beware of recruitment scams: DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt will never ask you to pay money or share sensitive financial information during hiring — learn more about our legitimate recruiting process at Recruitment Scam Awareness - DoorDash .

Location: New York, NY (HQ); San Francisco, CA Workplace: Hybrid ABOUT RAMP Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join Ramp's Legal team and own the operational backbone of how we govern and structure the company. Ramp runs a growing portfolio of U.S. and non-U.S. entities — including regulated and licensed subsidiaries — across a business that ships constantly and raises, acquires, and expands on short notice. You will be the person who keeps that machinery accurate, current, and audit-ready. This is a broad generalist role. You'll sit at the center of corporate governance, entity management, equity administration, and litigation/employment and you'll partner directly with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Equity Admin, and People, and outside counsel. We are a small, high-leverage team supporting a company that moves quickly, so you'll cover a lot of ground and be trusted to run matters independently. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Corporate governance: Prepare board and stockholder meeting materials, agendas, minutes, written consents, resolutions, secretary's certificates, and incumbency certificates. Track and calendar governance obligations across the entity portfolio. - Entity management: Own the full lifecycle of entity administration — formations and dissolutions, foreign qualifications, annual reports, franchise tax filings, registered agent management, signatories, officer and director lists, post-integration cleanup. - KYC, UBO, and diligence: Respond to KYC/UBO and diligence requests from bank partners, regulators, auditors, insurers, and counterparties, and build reusable packages. - Equity support: Support equity administration, option and RSU grants, board approvals of equity awards, secondaries, and equity plan recordkeeping in partnership with Finance and People. - Transaction support: Run diligence support, signature collection, closing checklists, closing binders, and post-closing obligations for financings, credit facilities, M&A, real estate, and insurance renewals. - Commercial and cross-functional support: Assist with powers of attorney, delegations of authority, and corporate approvals needed by the business. - Employment support: Support employment- and immigration-related requests and filings. - Litigation support: Support subpoena and law enforcement requests, legal holds, e-discovery, and document production. Review and respond to garnishment orders and UCC liens. Serve as Ramp’s custodian of records and as Ramp’s representative in small claims court cases. WHAT YOU NEED - 6+ years of corporate paralegal experience at a major law firm and/or in-house at a high-growth technology or financial services company. - Deep working knowledge of corporate governance, entity formation and maintenance, corporate recordkeeping, and secretary's office functions. - Excellent drafting skills across resolutions, consents, certificates, and corporate documentation, with genuine precision — you catch the wrong entity name, the stale date, and the missing signature block. - Demonstrated ability to independently run multiple time-sensitive workstreams without dropping threads or waiting to be asked. - Strong written and verbal communication skills and the judgment to work directly with executives, board members, outside counsel, and cross-functional partners. - Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and processes are still being built — and a bias toward action. - High judgment around confidential and sensitive corporate information. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. NICE TO HAVE - Experience at a fintech, payments, or regulated financial services company, including support for licensed entities (money transmitter, EMI, or similar). - Experience supporting venture financings, secondaries, M&A integration, or IPO readiness. - International entity management experience across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, or Canada. - Experience with equity administration and cap table platforms (e.g., Shareworks). - Experiencing with litigation or employment matters. - Notary Public commission (NY or CA), or willingness to obtain one. - ABA-approved paralegal certificate. - A track record of using AI or automation to eliminate manual legal work. BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL) - Flexible PTO - Centralized home-office equipment ordering - Health and wellness stipend - Budget for intra-office travel - Weekly coffee stipend UNITED STATES - 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents - One Medical annual membership - 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp - Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay - Pet insurance - In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more - Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed) CANADA - Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life - Life, AD&D, and disability coverage - Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime) - Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay - Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health UNITED KINGDOM - Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite - Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi - Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay REFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf. Location: Remote About GiveDirectly What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need? Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid. Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question: is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty? We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join. We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress. How we work Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated: Recipients first. Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves. Team next. We optimize for organizational success, not individual success. Be proactively candid. We say what we believe and share information openly. Create positive energy. We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain. Think rigorously; act quickly. We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate. Know yourself and grow. We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow. Accept reality. Propose solutions. We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems. Be productively ambitious. We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress. If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit. Want to learn more? Read and listen: We are one of Time100’s Most Influential Companies of 2026, and our work has been covered by The Economist , NPR , TED , and The Washington Post . We're now preparing to deliver billions of dollars a year to people in extreme poverty, if funding allows. Read our CEO's essay on what that will take. About this role: Are you an experienced engineer at the stage of your career where, above all, you want to do good? This role is about using engineering to support fundraising: delighting our donors; helping our fundraisers; getting donations recorded and safely started on their journey to our recipients; telling donors and the public about what happens to their gifts. A bit of website development. A lot of plumbing. The good news about this position: You will make a difference to people in extreme poverty You will work independently, with few constraints You will work directly with lovely people from across our fundraising teams The trade-offs: There is only one other fundraising engineer and mostly you will be working on your own Our technology is a mixture of boring (Laravel, PHP, plain JS, HTML and CSS) and legacy (Salesforce, Wordpress, wrangling CSV files sent by our partners) We're growing, but this is a role for someone who values depth and impact over a fast title ladder. The maybe good maybe bad news about the role depending on who you are: We are all in on AI where it allows us to get more $ to people in extreme poverty If you want a role where you will be part of a bigger engineering team, working in Python or working on more complex tasks, then please take a look at our other engineering roles . This role is right for you if: You care about our mission You agree with our values You have the right to work in one of the countries we're able to hire from (you can check the current list here ). You're happy working remotely, and taking meetings across East Africa Time and US Eastern Time. You are happy to travel to meet your colleagues in the US, Europe and Africa a few weeks a year You are fluent in English You have 4+ years of engineering experience You're happy working autonomously: defining what needs doing, doing it, getting it tested and launched, fixing the bugs, and hustling to make progress every day. You're comfortable being on-call on peak donation days (Giving Tuesday and the last weeks of the year), including owning an incident: working out what matters, communicating with fundraisers, and debugging on legacy and others' code, sometimes when no other engineers are available. You are happy with our boring and legacy technologies (Laravel, PHP, plain JS, HTML, CSS, Salesforce, Wordpress, SQL, wrangling csv files etc). You don’t have to be experienced in all of them, but you do have to be genuinely happy to use them (many engineers are not…). You are happy and skilled at working directly with non-engineers on messy, poorly defined, rapidly changing, sometimes boring tasks Compensation At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to calculate what we believe to be competitive pay based on role, location, and cost of living. We also have a no negotiation policy to ensure we are paying staff equitably across roles. Read more about our compensation philosophy here . Location: Remote - Canada What We’re Building Honeycomb is a service for the near and present future, defining observability and raising expectations of what developer tools can do! We’re working with well known companies like HelloFresh, Slack, LaunchDarkly, and Vanguard and more across a range of industries. This is an exciting time in our trajectory, we’ve closed Series D funding, scaled past the 200-person mark, and were named to Forbes’ America’s Best Startups of 2022 and 2023! If you want to see what we’ve been up to, please check out these blog posts and Honeycomb.io press releases . Who We Are We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live our values every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers. How We Work We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote Little more about the team: AI agents at Honeycomb investigate, reason, and act on real observability data. They live in Canvas: the agentic workspace where engineers go to understand their systems. The Agentic Intelligence team has shipped Canvas, the Honeycomb MCP server, and the Canvas Agent and Canvas Skills surfaces. What we're looking for today is someone who brings deep agent expertise and uses it to expand what the team can build: new agents, new surface area in Canvas, memory, spatial awareness, improved performance on our Bedrock loop. Honeycomb's data store is fast and accepts high cardinality data; that's what makes agents built on top of it different from anything built on a conventional observability backend. This role is about taking advantage of that building agents that can do things no other observability product can do because the underlying data makes it possible. Some of this work will start as a prototype. The expectation is that the code makes it through the full arc, from the rough first version through to something that holds up in production. What you'll do Design and deliver production-grade agents. Build agents that investigate, reason, and act on live observability data inside Canvas. These agents must be trustworthy to engineers in high pressure situations, including mid-incident. Take one from rough first version to something that holds up under production traffic. Own the agent work; support the whole product. Scope, build, ship, and maintain the agents including the evals that tell you whether they got better or are just different. This role is agent-focused and also includes some fullstack development. Build agents only Honeycomb can build. Use a data store that returns high-cardinality queries in seconds to reason over signal a conventional backend can't serve at this fidelity correlating across services, drilling into a single trace, comparing before and after a deploy. Extend the surface, and decide what's next. Ship new capability into Canvas, the MCP server, and Canvas Skills memory, spatial awareness, a faster Bedrock loop and make the case for what comes after with working code. Distinguish hype from signal in a field with plenty of both. Define what "good" means for agents here. Set the bar: measurable against real evals, maintainable, and honest about their limits. Example projects Multiple agents collaborating on one shared Canvas investigation each claiming a hypothesis, publishing findings, and narrowing the search space for the others so it resolves faster (blog). Auto-investigation the moment an SLO burn alert fires the agent forms hypotheses and prepares visualizations before a human looks, cutting mean-time-to-insight for on-call (o11ycon 2026). Skills that encode a team's domain expertise e.g. Kubernetes thresholds so agents and human colleagues can lean on them (o11ycon 2026). What you'll bring: AI and agent engineering experience. You've shipped LLM-based systems people relied on in production not demos, not fine-tuned models in a research context. You know where agent systems break and how to design around it. End-to-end ownership. On a small team there's no handoff queue. You can take something from rough prototype to production-grade without needing someone behind you to do the durable engineering. Current judgment, not just past experience. You have informed opinions about what's shifted in agent design in the last six to twelve months that would change how you'd build today. Agent architecture depth. You understand how a fast, high-cardinality data store changes what an agent can reason about, and how to design for that. Product judgment. You can look at what the agent layer does today and see what it should do next and make that case with a prototype, not a deck. Even better Observability or developer-tools background. Engineers are your users; you'll ramp faster with fluency in that world, and the work is better. Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering. Base Salary based on level of experience $250,000 — $280,000 CAD What you'll get when you join the Hive: A stake in our success - generous equity with employee-friendly stock program It’s not about how strong of a negotiator you are - our pay is based on transparent levels relative to experience Time to recharge with unlimited PTO A distributed-first mindset and culture (really!) Home office, co-working, and internet stipend Full benefits coverage for employees, with additional coverage available for dependents Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, regardless of path to parenthood Annual development allowance And much more... Please note we cannot currently sponsor or support visa transfers at this time. Additionally, in compliance with applicable law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work. Phishing and Recruitment Scam Warning: We take your security seriously. We recognize that there is no single path to success and embrace nontraditional career journeys and diverse perspectives as key to building stronger, more innovative teams. Location: Foster City, CA Workplace: Hybrid Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. ABOUT THE ROLE Replit enables people to build software with AI. The systems underneath that experience must support safe production changes, measurable reliability, and predictable performance as usage grows. This Engineering Manager will lead SRE across observability, incident management, load testing, performance engineering, cloud cost and capacity, and rollout infrastructure. You'll lead and grow an existing team that builds and operates production platforms and works hands-on across application and infrastructure boundaries. This is a software-building leadership role, not simply an incident-management function. You'll help teams ship safely, understand production behavior, and remove performance bottlenecks through concrete engineering improvements. You should be comfortable going deep on a rollout failure or performance investigation while developing technical leaders and sustainable ownership across a distributed team. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Observability. Build and operate metrics, logs, traces, and alerting capabilities. Help teams establish meaningful SLOs and use production telemetry to diagnose problems and verify improvements. - Incident Management. Own incident tooling and practices, coordinate cross-team response, and turn incident reviews into engineering improvements that reduce recovery time and repeat failures. - Load Testing. Build and maintain load/failure testing capabilities. Validate critical paths under expected demand, quantify headroom, and test recovery and production readiness with service owners. - Performance Engineering. Lead deep engagements with internal teams on SLOs and end-to-end performance. Use profiling, telemetry, and load tests to identify bottlenecks and deliver improvements with service owners—not just recommendations. - Stay technically engaged. Review designs and production changes, debug difficult failure modes, and use AI coding tools—including Replit—to prototype and automate. Apply rigorous review and verification to AI-generated changes. - Build and grow a high-ownership engineering team. Coach engineers, develop technical leaders, manage performance, and hire against agreed needs. Make distributed collaboration, mentoring, and backup coverage deliberate rather than relying on a few permanent escalation points. - Measure outcomes and close the loop. Track rollout safety, recovery time, repeat incidents, critical-path latency/throughput, test coverage, and improvements arising from cost/capacity analysis. Agree success measures and continuing ownership with partner teams. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - Demonstrated engineering management. You have led and developed engineers, made prioritization and performance decisions, hired thoughtfully, and delivered through a team—not only acted as its strongest individual contributor. - Software-oriented production systems depth. You have built and operated distributed systems or reliability platforms and can reason across deployment behavior, Kubernetes, telemetry, service dependencies, and recovery mechanisms. - Safe-change and performance judgment. You have led consequential migrations or incidents and used measurement to diagnose reliability or performance problems. You can distinguish symptoms from causes and validate fixes under realistic conditions. - Platform-product and cross-team judgment. You can build capabilities other teams adopt, lead hands-on engagements without absorbing every service's operations, and make clear tradeoffs among reliability, performance, engineering effort, and cost. NICE TO HAVE - Experience with GitOps or progressive-delivery platforms such as Harness, ArgoCD, or Kargo. - Experience with observability, profiling, load-testing, and failure-testing systems, including OpenTelemetry or comparable tooling. - Experience with cloud cost attribution, capacity planning, and provider coordination, particularly on GCP. - Experience growing distributed teams and using AI tools to increase engineering output while preserving production safeguards. We do believe there are valuable and serendipitous moments of discovery and collaboration that come from working together in person. Descript is an equal opportunity workplace—we are dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status. We believe in actively building a team rich in diverse backgrounds, experiences, and opinions to better allow our employees, products, and community to thrive.

This role restores dedicated capacity for pricing and order operations testing, quote-to-cash (QTC) release validation, and order execution support. You’ll help ensure system changes are tested, validated, and operationally ready before they go live. You’ll provide Pricing and Order Operations subject-matter expertise and execute assigned business validation across signature packets, bookings, marketplace offers, and booking-to-order management handoffs. This role partners closely with Order Operations & Monetization, IT’s business systems team, Pricing Operations, Sales, and Deal Desk. The Senior Pricing Operations Manager may help prioritize pricing-related test cases and QTC issues tied specifically to pricing and quoting. The Order Operations & Monetization lead owns final prioritization of the analyst’s workload across order operations, assigned non-pricing UAT participation, and pricing-related support work. This is a hybrid role, 1-2 days in the office. Validate pricing-related QTC changes across quoting, approvals, discounting logic, product configuration, and downstream order execution. Help confirm that pricing changes are operationally ready before launch, including impacts to Sales, Deal Desk, Order Operations, Billing, Revenue, and marketplace workflows. Partner with the Senior Pricing Operations Manager to prioritize pricing-related test cases, identify gaps in business requirements, and document expected system behavior. Help maintain documentation for pricing- and order-related system configurations, known dependencies, and release-readiness criteria. UAT & Testing Participate as a Pricing and Order Operations subject-matter expert in UAT project-managed by Technical Program Management (TPM) and executed under RevOps coordination, ensuring relevant business scenarios and expected outcomes are represented. Execute assigned Pricing and Order Operations test cases and collaborate with the GTM subject-matter experts identified by RevOps. Partner with RevOps and relevant subject-matter experts to develop and maintain Pricing and Order Operations test cases, including scenarios for quoting, approvals, signature packets, bookings, marketplace offers, billing, and order management. Maintain the Pricing and Order Operations portion of the regression test suite for recurring QTC changes. Order Operations Operate under defined business requirements for order operations rules within the QTC flow, validating execution across signature packet generation and e-signature routing, booking rules, marketplace offer configuration—including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake—and the booking-to-order management handoff. Comfort using conversational AI tools—such as Claude, ChatGPT, or internal chatbots—to support daily and project work, combined with sound judgment about when human review or decision-making is necessary. Clear written communication skills, with the ability to document test cases, defects, and sign-off criteria for technical and business audiences. A proactive and organized approach, with the ability to work across IT, Pricing and Order Operations, and Sales and Deal Desk without heavy oversight.
