About Paired
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in pairing remote work with top-tier talent!
We are dedicated to connecting talented individuals with remarkable companies in need of their skills. Our goal is to create fulfilling job opportunities for professionals around the world.
About our Client
They're a
direct-to-consumer subscriptio
n brand that has gone from
zero to a multiple nine-figure run
rate in under
three years
— completely bootstrapped, with a small, lean team spread across the globe. No outside capital, no board, no bureaucracy. We sell across our own D2C site, Amazon, and TikTok Shop, with a subscription retention engine underneath it all.
They grew fast enough that structure never caught up with scale. That is the problem this role exists to solve.
The role
The CEO currently has roughly 25 people, agencies, and suppliers reporting to him across Customer Service, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Operations, Retention, and Finance — plus a running list of ~20 ad hoc growth projects. There is no layer between him and the work. Every decision, follow-up, deadline, blocker, and loose thread routes to one inbox.
The Chief of Staff is that layer. You will own the operating system of the company: who owns what, how they're measured, what they committed to, and whether it actually happened. You'll also own a rotating portfolio of high-leverage projects end to end, and you'll handle the CEO's calendar, inbox, and meeting follow-up so his time goes to product, partnerships, and P&L.
This is not a coordination job.
You are expected to get into the weeds
, do the work yourself, push people, and
raise the standard
. You start reporting directly to the CEO with influence rather than formal authority — and as you prove you can handle it, you'll be given the authority to escalate, reassign, and put underperformers on a plan.
Where this goes:
if you crush this role, the path is C-suite or President within two years. That is a real offer, not a recruiting line.
What You'll Do
Own accountability and urgency across every function.
Each person and agency has KPIs, deadlines, and commitments. You track them, follow up individually, unblock what's stuck, enforce urgency, and make sure the owner knows they own the outcome. Functions include TikTok Shop (8 people), Amazon (agency of 5), Operations (3 suppliers, 3 in-house), Retention (email agency, in-house dev, media buyer), and Finance (3 in-house, 1 agency).
Build the process map of the entire business
. Every role titled and defined, every responsibility documented, every recurring workflow written up as an SOP, every doc and tracker findable, a clear reporting and ownership structure, and clear written criteria for how someone earns a bonus, earns a promotion, or gets let go.
Triage everything currently flowing to the CEO
. For each item: handle it yourself, route it to the right manager, automate it, or kill it. The goal is that it stops reaching him.
Own high-leverage projects end to end.
You'll be handed ad hoc projects — growth initiatives, new channel tests, vendor negotiations, systems builds — with a goal and little else. You scope them, run them, hire or coordinate whoever is needed, and report meaningful progress in a weekly check-in without being managed step by step.
Turn conversations into tracked action
. Sit in on calls, capture decisions and action items from meetings, Slack, and WhatsApp, assign owners and dates, and chase them to done.
Run the CEO's calendar, inbox, and meeting prep.
Full ownership — scheduling, prioritization, prep material, follow-up.
Raise the bar on the people around you. Give direct feedback, flag underperformance early, and help managers hold their own teams accountable rather than
doing it for them forever.
Requirements
Must-Have
Demonstrated ability to learn fast and independently. If we hand you ClickUp on a Friday and say "know it by Monday," you find YouTube tutorials, book a consultant call, and figure it out yourself in a few hours. We don't care what tools you've used — we care that you can teach yourself anything.
You're smart and hands-on. You need to reason through complex business problems and handle people well enough that they want to deliver for you.
Genuine humility. Zero ego. You take direct feedback well, ask for more of it, and are never "above" the work. If a spreadsheet needs cleaning at 11 PM, you clean it.
Willingness to do the work yourself. This role manages and executes. Delegating without getting your hands dirty is a disqualifier.
Comfort with ambiguity and total ownership. Given a problem in a domain you know nothing about, your reaction is excitement, not fear.
Directness. You give and receive blunt feedback without it becoming personal or political.
Real work capacity. This is a 50-hour minimum role with frequent nights and weekends. We're a startup that moves quickly and we're honest about what that costs.
Availability during US Eastern hours within the 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM ET window.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice-to-have
A track record of excellence in a competitive environment. Top marks academically, a strong university, high-level competitive sports or esports, elite early-career roles, a company you built — something that shows you've been in a room full of winners and held your own.
E-commerce experience — D2C, Amazon, or TikTok Shop especially.
Subscription or retention business experience.
Prior Chief of Staff, founder's associate, consulting, or investment banking background.
Experience building SOPs, process documentation, or operating cadences from scratch.
Experience managing agencies and offshore contractors.
Note on weighting:
soft skills outrank hard skills here. A candidate with less e-commerce experience but smart, hands on, humble, faster learning speed, and a stronger record of excellence beats a domain expert who's rigid or ego-driven. Hire for the athlete.
Benefits
Base: $6,000 – $8,000 USD/month, depending on experience (negotiable for the right fit!)
Bonus: 20% of base annually, tied to project completion and KPI attainment
Structure: W-2 or 1099 — your choice
Remote: Work from anywhere, as long as you cover Eastern hours
Growth: Direct, stated path to C-suite or President within two years for the right performer
The Culture
They move fast, communicate directly, and don't sugarcoat feedback. There are no politics, no vanity titles, and no tenure — you don't get status here for having been around. You keep what you kill: results drive promotions, bonuses, and authority.
Everyone here holds absurdly high standards for themselves and the people around them, and the standard keeps going up. Good is never the finish line. If that sounds exhausting, this isn't the right fit. If it sounds like the environment you've been looking for, it's rare that you get it at this scale with this little bureaucracy.

The Opportunity
Flosum is looking for a visionary Salesforce Technical Business Analyst who lives and breathes the Salesforce ecosystem and wants to shape the future of how the world's largest enterprises build, secure, and scale on Salesforce.
This is not a maintenance role. You will own the product roadmap for the only 100% Salesforce-native DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security platform trusted by Fortune 100 companies, global brands like Hilton, Cargill, Barry Callebaut, Cushman & Wakefield, and AARP. You will work directly with the CEO and engineering leadership to define and ship products that create entirely new categories within the Salesforce ecosystem.
We are at an inflection point. AI-driven DevOps (powered by Agentforce), agent-aware governance, zero-trust security orchestration, and intelligent data lifecycle management are transforming the Salesforce landscape. We need a product leader who sees around corners, understands where this space is heading, and has the conviction and execution chops to get us there first.
About Flosum
Flosum is the only enterprise-grade DevOps, Data Backup & Archive, Trust Center, and Data Seeding platform built 100% native on the Salesforce platform. As a Salesforce Summit Partner and the only native solution certified by Salesforce, we operate within the Salesforce trust boundary, which means zero data exposure, no third-party cloud processing, and full compliance with Salesforce security standards.
Our customers are among the most demanding in the world: Fortune 500 enterprises in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government, life sciences) who require SOX compliance, zero-trust architecture, and audit-grade governance. We compete against Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, and Salto, and we win because our native architecture delivers security, speed, and extensibility that external tools simply cannot match.
We recently integrated Salesforce Agentforce into our platform, making Flosum the first and only Salesforce-native AI DevOps solution. This is just the beginning of what we plan to build.
What You Will Own
Product Vision & Strategy
Define and drive the multi-year product roadmap across Flosum's five product lines: DevOps, Backup & Archive, Trust Center, Data Seeding, and DevOps for Veeva.
Identify whitespace opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem where Flosum can create new categories or capture market share from competitors.
Translate deep Salesforce platform knowledge (metadata architecture, deployment models, Agentforce, Data Cloud, multi-org environments) into product capabilities that enterprise customers will pay premium prices for.
Stay ahead of Salesforce's own product direction (three releases per year) and position Flosum to capitalize on every platform shift.
AI & Innovation
Lead the next wave of AI-powered DevOps capabilities built on Agentforce, including intelligent deployment agents, AI-driven code review, automated security scanning, and predictive release management.
Define how Flosum's extensibility platform enables customers to build custom AI-driven workflows within Salesforce's trust boundary.
Pioneer agent-aware governance: preparing Salesforce governance frameworks for autonomous systems and AI agents.
Customer & Market Insight
Engage directly with Fortune 500 customers and prospects to deeply understand their pain points around Salesforce development, security, compliance, and data management.
Translate complex enterprise requirements (SOX, zero-trust, multi-org, regulated industries) into elegant product solutions.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success to influence deal strategy, conduct product demos for strategic accounts, and close competitive evaluations.
Execution & Delivery
Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You do the work, not just delegate it.
Partner with engineering to deliver on aggressive timelines. Own sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release coordination.
Define and track product KPIs: adoption, activation, expansion, NPS, competitive win rates.
Requirements
Who You Are
We are looking for a missionary, not a mercenary. Someone who takes genuine ownership of outcomes, thinks independently, and is driven by a need to build something that matters, not just advance their career.
7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years focused on the Salesforce ecosystem or Salesforce-adjacent platforms.
Deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform: metadata-driven architecture, deployment pipelines, sandboxes, packaging, security models, Apex, Lightning, and the ISV partner ecosystem.
Proven track record of shipping products that enterprise customers (Fortune 500, regulated industries) adopted and paid for. Not features; products.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, release management, or security/compliance tooling is strongly preferred.
You understand the competitive landscape: Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Salto, and native Salesforce DX. You know where each is strong and where they are vulnerable.
Strong perspective on how AI/ML (especially Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein, Data Cloud) will reshape the Salesforce development and governance landscape.
Hands-on executor. You write PRDs, you talk to customers, you review wireframes, you sit in sprint reviews. You do not manage from a distance.
Exceptional communication skills. You can present a product vision to a C-suite audience and write a technical specification for an engineering team in the same day.
Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action. When you see a problem, you solve it. When you don't know something, you go learn it.
What Will Make You Exceptional in This Role
You have experience building products in the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem, ideally as an ISV or within a Salesforce-native product company.
You have worked at the intersection of DevOps and security/compliance in regulated industries.
You have led product-led growth initiatives within an enterprise product, designing self-serve onboarding, in-product conversion, and expansion mechanics.
You have a point of view on the future of AI in Salesforce DevOps and can articulate a 3-year vision for how autonomous agents will change how enterprises build on Salesforce.
You have experience going head-to-head against well-funded competitors and winning through product superiority rather than just marketing spend.
What We Expect in the First 12 Months
First 90 Days: Learn and Diagnose
Achieve deep fluency in Flosum's five product lines and their technical architecture.
Conduct 25+ customer and prospect interviews to build a firsthand understanding of enterprise pain points.
Complete a competitive audit with specific, actionable recommendations on where Flosum should invest to win.
Deliver your first product roadmap refresh with clear prioritization rationale.
Months 3-6: Ship and Win
Own and deliver at least one major product release that directly addresses a competitive gap or customer-requested capability.
Establish a product-led feedback loop between Sales, CS, and Engineering that accelerates deal velocity and reduces churn.
Define the next generation of Flosum's AI capabilities and present a detailed execution plan.
Months 6-12: Scale and Lead
Drive measurable improvement in competitive win rates against Copado and Gearset.
Launch at least one net-new product capability that opens a new revenue stream or market segment.
Establish Flosum as a thought leader in AI-driven Salesforce DevOps through content, speaking, and ecosystem engagement.
Benefits
Why Flosum
Category-defining opportunity: You will shape the future of how enterprises build on Salesforce. This is not incremental; it is transformational.
Direct CEO partnership: You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with a founder who is deeply technical, product-obsessed, and committed to building the best platform in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Fortune 100 customer base: Your product decisions will directly impact how the world's largest and most complex organizations operate.
AI inflection point: Agentforce and autonomous agents are rewriting the rules. Flosum is the first native platform to integrate these capabilities. You will define what comes next.
Missionary culture: We hire people who want to make a dent, not pad a resume. If you are looking for a place where your work matters and your ideas are heard, this is it.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary + performance bonus
Equity participation
Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k)
Hybrid flexibility (San Ramon, CA HQ) or remote for exceptional candidates
Direct access to Salesforce ecosystem events, conferences (Dreamforce, TrailblazerDX), and customer engagements
If you live in San Ramon, CA this can be a Hybrid position, but we're open to fully remote in other locations.

At Foxelli, we’re building more than e-commerce brands - we’re building a tribe of thoughtful humans: AI enthusiasts, curious builders, and ambitious minds who care about doing meaningful work together. Ten years in, our D2C brands reach millions and generate over $20M annually. Our focus stays simple: create products customers love and a team that actually enjoys building them.
If you love to learn, experiment, think boldly, make decisions, and build things that matter - you’ll feel at home with us.
WHY JOIN FOXELLI?
We are a fast-moving e-commerce company that builds our own proprietary AI infrastructure. We develop internal AI-driven systems to automate complex creative and analytical workflows, which we later scale into B2B SaaS products.
We are not looking for a traditional developer.
We are looking for an AI-Native Builder who can turn an idea into a functional prototype in days using the latest AI-assisted development tools.
THE ROLE
As a Founding AI Engineer, you will work directly with the founder to design, build, and iterate on various AI systems. The projects will vary - from computer vision and image manipulation to automated video generation and agentic data analysis. You will be responsible for the full pipeline: from R&D of the best AI models to deploying scalable web applications.
Who You Are:
- Modern Developer: You have abandoned "manual-only" coding. You are a power user of tools like GPT Codex, Claude code, and Replit, allowing you to build at a 10x pace.
- AI Generalist: You are comfortable working across different AI domains - LLMs (Text/Reasoning), Diffusion (Image/Video), and Vision models.
- Agile & Adaptive: You thrive in an environment where projects evolve. You are a fast learner who can master a new AI framework or API over a weekend.
- Hacker Mindset: You focus on ROI. You build lean MVPs, test them in our real-world e-commerce operations, and only then polish them for scale.
- Architecture-Aware: You know how to orchestrate multiple AI models into a single "Agentic" workflow that handles complex tasks autonomously.
Technical Interests:
- Stack: Next.js / Python (FastAPI).
- AI Frameworks: ComfyUI / Diffusers, IP-Adapters, ControlNet, and Agentic frameworks (LangChain/CrewAI).
- Infrastructure: Experience with Serverless GPU providers (Replicate, Fal, RunPod).
- Integrations: Skilled at connecting diverse APIs to create seamless automated systems.
Why Join Us:
- Direct Impact: Build tools that are immediately put to use in real-world business scenarios.
- Extreme Speed: No corporate red tape. If the tech works, we ship it.
- Evolution: This is a founding role with the opportunity to lead multiple product lines as we transition from internal tools to SaaS.
THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
1. Apply - A simple form that helps us know who’s stepping into our world.
2. Ribbon AI Interview - Ribbon is a short, guided video step that helps us understand your thinking style in a calm, private space
3. Interview - A conversation with your manager to feel the work chemistry, get to know each other, and explore what we could build together
FIXED SERVICE FEE
€2000- €3000 after taxes (depending on your skills, competencies, and experience).
PERKS & BENEFITS
- Full flexibility with your schedule in a fully remote setting, while Apploye ensures transparency and fairness.
- Complimentary gym memberships and company-sponsored outdoor adventures for your strength and to keep your physical well-being in check.
- A personal development budget is at your disposal for your personal and professional growth to ensure you keep growing continuously.
- Generous paid time off, including parental leave and vacation days, to recharge and rejuvenate and ensure you’re well-rested.
- A budget for your home office setup so you’re comfortable working how you like and where you like.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for Render's first Forward Deployed Engineer to work hands-on with our most strategic customers. Our largest contracts and fastest-growing AI startups are scaling on Render, and this role provides them with a dedicated, concierge-level technical partnership. You will balance two motions: white-glove engagement with our top accounts, where you work closely with the customer's engineering team as a trusted technical partner, and scoped onboarding intensives that get high-growth startups confidently building on the platform. As the first FDE in our Field Engineering organization, you will define the playbook for this function, prove the model, and shape how it scales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work closely with Render's top accounts as their dedicated technical partner, providing concierge service across architecture reviews, migration planning, and hands-on delivery.
- Run scoped onboarding intensives for high-growth startups, from intake and success criteria through hands-on-keyboard execution.
- Lead the database side of customer engagements, including Postgres architecture, performance tuning, and complex data migrations from Heroku, AWS, and other cloud providers.
- Drive activation and expansion in strategic accounts: turn major credit grants into durable production adoption, surface expansion signals from your technical work, and partner with the account team to convert them into revenue.
- Own the ongoing technical relationship for your accounts: proactive architecture and health reviews, collaborative roadmap sessions, incident follow-up and RCA, and escalation point for hard technical problems, working closely with the account team.
- Build the FDE playbook: qualification criteria, engagement templates, success metrics, and reference architectures that make the program repeatable.
- Act as a high-signal feedback channel to product and engineering, translating customer friction into prioritized product input.
- Partner with Account Managers and Customer Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs after each engagement and durable long-term coverage.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years in a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role: forward deployed, solutions, customer, or professional services engineering.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals; you can write production-quality code and work hands-on-keyboard inside a customer's codebase.
- Deep experience with cloud infrastructure: containers, CI/CD, networking, autoscaling, and running real workloads in production.
- Deep Postgres and database expertise: schema design, performance tuning, replication, and production data migrations. Our largest engagements consistently turn on this skill set.
- AI fluency: you work with AI tools daily to accelerate your own delivery, and you understand LLM application architectures well enough to guide the teams building them.
- Excellent communication with everyone from startup founders to enterprise platform teams, including executive-level conversations.
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; you can stand up a new function without an existing playbook.
- Commercial instincts: you understand how technical wins connect to expansion, renewal, and revenue.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Migration experience from Heroku, AWS, or other clouds onto modern platforms.
- Hands-on experience shipping AI and LLM applications (RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, inference workloads); many of our fastest-growing accounts are AI-native.
- Prior experience as the first hire in a role or a founding member of a new program.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

We’re looking for a Senior Cinematographer to define how Perplexity looks on film. Working with the Creative Director and Video Lead, you’ll translate our visual identity into a practical cinematographic language, then bring it to life across the team’s day-to-day output.
This is a hands-on role. One day you’re shooting a candid office moment or executive interview with a small kit; the next, you’re leading a full camera and lighting crew on a brand film. Most of your time goes to prepping, testing, lighting, and shooting.
You’ll also help build and run our in-house studio, from selecting gear and designing flexible lighting setups to keeping the space production-ready. When turnaround is tight, you’ll support media management and light editing.
You’ll report to the Video Lead and work closely with the Video Producer, Brand Lead, designers, motion designers, Growth, Comms, Product Marketing, and external production partners. The Producer and Video Lead handle crewing, budgets, schedules, and logistics so you can stay focused on production and craft. However, you should think like a storyteller, not just a technician, bringing your own ideas for how to show our product and people more vividly through moodboards, shot lists, storyboards, and a willingness to experiment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with the Creative Director and Video Lead to define and evolve Perplexity’s cinematographic language, and turn it into repeatable approaches for lighting, lensing, composition, movement, and color.
- Shoot and light a steady mix of day-to-day content: candid office moments, executive interviews, product demos, social, events, and documentary stories.
- Lead cinematography on brand films, campaigns, partnerships, and launches.
- Scale to the work: operate solo with a minimal kit, lead a small crew, or help build a full camera, lighting, grip, team (with help from producers).
- Bring storytelling ideas to the table through moodboards, shot lists, storyboards, and experimentation.
- Own camera, lighting, and movement decisions from creative development through capture: build packages, run tests and tech scouts, and solve constraints before the shoot.
- Recommend crew and equipment for each production and lead the camera and lighting departments on set. Producers handle budgets, schedules, contracts, and logistics.
- Help design, build, and run the in-house studio, including lighting, audio, grip, and monitoring.
- Own the team’s gear: recommend, purchase, organize, and maintain it, with ready-to-shoot packages so no setup gets rebuilt from scratch.
- Handle color grading in DaVinci Resolve, and support selects, stringouts, and light edits when turnaround is tight.
- Keep the visual standard high across formats and crew sizes without overbuilding.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years as a cinematographer or DP across branded, commercial, documentary, and interview work.
- A standout reel showing visual authorship, lighting craft, camera movement, and an eye for honest, unscripted moments.
- A strong point of view, paired with the sensitivity to work within and strengthen an existing brand.
- Deep command of camera systems, lenses, exposure, color pipelines, lighting, grip, and on-set monitoring.
- Genuinely hands-on: equally comfortable building a camera, shaping light, operating, troubleshooting, and leading a crew.
- The judgment to make premium images under real constraints, solo with a small kit or leading a full production.
- Strong pre-production instincts: turning a creative idea into a technically sound, right-sized plan.
- Experience briefing and leading freelance crews and vendors on set, and managing professional production equipment.
- Working proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for color grading, selects, and light edits.
- Collaborative and low-ego. You bring a strong opinion, take direction, and solve problems with partners.
- Comfortable moving fast in an ambiguous, high-output environment without compromising craft, safety, or footage.
- Based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco, with flexibility for travel and long shoot days.
NICE TO HAVE
- A strong Bay Area and Los Angeles network of camera, lighting, grip, sound, production, and rental partners.
- Experience within an in-house brand studio at a technology or consumer company.
- Strong documentary instincts and experience working with founders, executives, talent, or people who are not professional performers.
- Experience with multi-camera interviews, live events, tabletop or product cinematography, motion-control systems, or virtual production.
- Color-grading experience and a strong understanding of how capture decisions carry through finishing and delivery.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As Head of Strategic Startups at Anthropic, you will own the strategy, organization, and commercial outcomes for Anthropic's relationships with the world's most important AI-native startups. This is the segment where the next generation of category-defining companies is being built on Claude, and where Anthropic's commercial, product, and partnership decisions compound fastest.
You will lead a team of Account Executives who own Anthropic's most strategic AI-native accounts, and be accountable for a revenue line spanning expansion, retention, and net-new strategic wins. Beyond running the business, you will define what "strategic" means for Anthropic in the startup ecosystem: which companies we bet on, how we structure partnerships with them, how we engage investors and accelerators, and how the signal from this segment shapes our product roadmap and go-to-market model.
You will be a member of the GTM leadership team and a visible voice for Anthropic in the startup and venture community, helping ensure that the companies defining the future of AI choose to build it safely, and with us.
Responsibilities:
Set the multi-year strategy for Anthropic's Strategic Startups business, including segmentation, coverage model, partnership structures, and investment priorities, and secure executive alignment on it
Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of Account Executives, including hiring, coaching, and developing sellers and establishing a strong operating cadence across the team
Own the segment's revenue plan and P&L-level outcomes, including forecasting, capacity planning, quota design, and resource allocation, with direct accountability to GTM and company leadership
Personally lead Anthropic's relationships with a portfolio of the highest-leverage AI-native startups, engaging founders, CEOs, and CTOs on multi-year commercial, technical, and partnership agreements
Design and negotiate novel commercial and partnership structures (credits programs, strategic pricing, co-development, joint go-to-market) that create durable, mutually beneficial relationships with breakout companies
Serve as the executive voice of the startup segment inside Anthropic, bringing structured customer and market insight to Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Finance and influencing roadmap and packaging decisions accordingly
Partner with Enterprise Sales, Solutions, Partnerships, and Customer Success leadership to define handoffs, shared accounts, and escalation paths as startups scale into enterprise customers
Establish the systems of record for the segment: account planning, customer health, executive business reviews, deal governance, and the metrics leadership uses to run the business
Represent Anthropic externally with founders, investors, and at industry events, articulating our approach to safe, frontier AI and why it matters for companies building on it
Lean in to support building Anthropic's presence across the startup ecosystem.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 15+ years of experience in enterprise or technical software sales, with 7+ years leading sales teams
Have been a founder or have worked previously as a Business Development leader securing large contracts.
Have owned a significant revenue line with full accountability for plan, forecast, and results, and have a track record of consistently outperforming it
Have built or materially scaled a sales or account management organization, including designing coverage models, compensation plans, and operating rhythms
Bring deep, first-hand familiarity with the startup ecosystem, including relationships with founders, venture investors, and accelerators, and an instinct for identifying which early-stage companies will become the ones that matter
Have sold or led sales of technical, consumption-based, or platform products (APIs, infrastructure, developer tools, ML/AI), and are credible in conversations with technical founders and CTOs
Have structured and closed complex, non-standard commercial and partnership agreements at the executive level
Are a strong cross-functional leader who has influenced product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions well beyond your own organization
Are analytically rigorous and comfortable making decisions with imperfect data in a rapidly evolving market
Are motivated by Anthropic's mission and care about how frontier AI is deployed, not just how fast it grows
Strong candidates may also:
Have led a startups or emerging-companies segment at a cloud, infrastructure, or AI platform company through a period of hypergrowth
Have founder, operator, or venture experience, and understand the pressures and decision-making of a high-growth startup from the inside
Have built ecosystem programs (startup credits, accelerator partnerships, investor programs) that meaningfully drove adoption of a developer platform
Have hired and developed leaders who went on to run their own organizations
Have experience leading through a market where the product and competitive landscape shifts quarterly
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$550,000
—
$750,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Represent Mistral at major industry events through keynotes, panels, and roundtables. Build a public presence that generates inbound interest from enterprise executives and the wider AI community.
Market feedback
Bring what you hear in executive conversations back into product direction. Patterns across accounts on governance requirements and deployment constraints should reach the people building the models.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrable credibility in the AI field. A public track record in AI: published papers, articles, or talks that reflect a clear, defensible position. Your work should read as credible next to Mistral's technical brand.
- A stated position on open-weight models and what they change for the enterprises adopting them. Your existing public positions should sit comfortable next to Mistral's.
- You are fluent in European data sovereignty and on-premise deployment, at the level that holds up with a CTO or VP Engineering asking hard questions.
- You are comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders across multiple verticals on technical architecture and business strategy, in the same conversation.
- Cross-vertical fluency, you can credibly engage across financial services, manufacturing, defense, and energy without being a domain specialist in any one of them.
- 10–25 years of experience in enterprise technology. You have held roles such as: Field CTO, Principal Architect, or VP Engineering at a major cloud or AI company, or a founder who built technical credibility and executive relationships through their own company.
- Comfortable with 30-50% travel depending on your region.
NICE TO HAVE
- Existing network of CTO and CIO relationships at enterprise accounts in your region
- Prior Field CTO or equivalent externally facing technical role at a major cloud or AI company
- Fluent in multiple languages spoken across your region

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
ABOUT THE HEALTHCARE TEAM
- Our healthcare agents already reach over 50% of U.S. families. We partner with leading health plans, providers, and healthcare platforms to deliver AI agents that handle some of the most sensitive and high stakes conversations in any industry. From helping members understand their benefits to resolving billing questions with empathy, our healthcare agents are transforming how patients and policyholders interact with the healthcare system.
- Our healthcare customers include major health insurance networks, nonprofit providers, multi-site primary and urgent care practices, healthcare diagnostics companies, and healthcare financial platforms.
- Join us to transform the patient experience across the healthcare system—and help build technology that makes care more accessible, more human and more affordable for everyone.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design integrations grounded in real healthcare workflows. Translate customer requirements into clear recommendations on interfaces, data flows, and EHR configuration. Identify assumptions, tradeoffs, and limitations so engineering teams have an actionable implementation plan.
- Resolve customer-specific EHR complexity. Understand how each organization configures and operates its EHR, including scheduling rules, patient identity, permissions, and workflow dependencies. Work with customer analysts, vendor teams, and Sierra engineers to investigate unexpected behavior and resolve integration blockers.
- Guide integration readiness through go-live. Define customer setup requirements, dependencies, and validation criteria. Guide EHR and IT teams through application registration, access provisioning, environment setup, and workflow testing, partnering with engineers to verify that integrations behave as intended.
- Bring EHR expertise to customer discovery. Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Agent Development to assess feasibility, explain integration requirements, and scope achievable projects. Make clear what Sierra supports today and what requires additional configuration or development.
- Shape Sierra’s healthcare integration roadmap. Evaluate vendor capabilities, integration programs, and emerging customer needs. Recommend where to invest, distinguishing reusable platform capabilities from customer-specific configuration and implementation work.
- Make each implementation easier than the last. Turn deployment experience into reference designs, implementation guides, and internal training. Help teams apply proven approaches and recognize when a customer’s requirements call for a different design.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability or EHR implementation, with direct responsibility for designing or delivering integrations at an EHR vendor, health system, healthcare technology company, or implementation consultancy.
- Deep expertise in at least one major EHR ecosystem, such as Epic, athenahealth, Oracle Health, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH, or similar systems. You understand its integration options, configuration model, and implementation processes, and can investigate unfamiliar capabilities independently.
- Practical knowledge of patient-access workflows, such as scheduling, registration, or referral management. You can explain how operational rules and customer configuration affect what an integration can do.
- Technical fluency in healthcare integrations. You can read API documentation, interpret requests and responses, and troubleshoot data and configuration issues. You have hands-on experience with relevant approaches such as FHIR, HL7v2, vendor APIs, or file-based exchange, and can explain when to use them.
- A track record of taking third-party integrations through deployment. You have worked through application registration, authentication and permissions, test and production environments, workflow validation, and go-live dependencies.
- Clear communication and independent judgment. You can lead discovery with EHR analysts and operational teams, turn incomplete information into an implementation plan, and explain recommendations to software engineers and business stakeholders. You know when to validate an assumption before committing to an approach.
EVEN BETTER...
- Epic certifications in areas such as Bridges, Cadence, Prelude, or Interconnect, or comparable expertise in another EHR ecosystem.
- Experience across multiple EHR vendors or health systems, particularly integrating third-party products into patient-access or contact-center workflows.
- Experience using SQL, scripts, or code to investigate integration issues, or working with teams building AI agents for healthcare.
- Hands-on software development experience, including building or extending integrations with EHRs or other healthcare systems.
- Comfortable contributing directly to integration code, including implementing API calls, troubleshooting failures, and writing tests. Experience with TypeScript, Go, or Python is a plus.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

We are looking for a
Head of Brand & Product Marketing
to join our team. This is building, not maintaining. You will own how Workstream is positioned, launched, and remembered, at the moment we expand from a vertical SaaS leader into an AI-native platform for the entire frontline workforce. You'll run product marketing, brand, content, and design as one team, report directly to our revenue leadership, and see your work show up in the pipeline within weeks, not quarters.

Day In The Life
Positioning & Narrative:
Own Workstream's positioning and messaging end to end, including the biggest open strategic question we have: leading with our restaurant dominance vs. the broader frontline-workforce story. You'll test it, not debate it.
Product Launches:
Run GTM launches for a portfolio that now ships AI products (like our AI assistant for frontline teams) alongside hiring, HR, and payroll. Messaging, pricing & packaging input, launch plans, and the enablement that makes Sales dangerous in the first week.
Brand & Content:
Lead our content and design team across the website, case studies, video, webinars, and social. Raise the bar on everything customer-facing, and use AI to produce at a pace a team twice our size couldn't match a year ago.
Working with Sales:
Arm AEs and partnerships with narratives, competitive teardowns, ROI stories, and customer proof. Sit in on deals. Talk to lost prospects. Change the message when the market tells you to.
Team Leadership:
Manage and grow a small, high-output team of product marketers, content marketers, and designers, and be the strongest IC on it when it matters.
Who You Are
Slope over pedigree:
5+ years in B2B marketing with real product marketing depth, but we care more about what you've shipped and how fast you're improving than the logos on your resume.
Management experience
: You have built and led hungry and dynamic marketing teams in the past.
Founder energy:
you've started something (a company, a category, a function from zero) and you default to action; former founders welcome!
A writer and an operator:
you produce sharp positioning yourself, and you build systems so the team produces it without you.
AI-native:
you already use AI agents across your daily work and you'll push the team to do the same.
Commercially ruthless:
you measure marketing in pipeline and revenue, not impressions.
Hungry:
you outwork the market and you want the scope of a VP role earlier than a big company would ever give it to you.
Experience with SMB buyers, hourly/frontline workforces, HR tech, or payroll is a strong plus.
