About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer or Tech Lead who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, not just the tickets in the backlog.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team (Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product) and own the end-to-end development of features that genuinely matter: company accounts and cash flows, banking transactions, card issuance and management, and AI-enabled accounting. You'll help shape architecture decisions, raise the bar on engineering quality, and mentor the engineers around you.
If you're energized by working at the intersection of great mobile engineering and real product impact — this is the role.
What You’ll Do
Design and build new features for our Android application, used daily by business owners across Europe.
Architect and implement reliable, intuitive solutions for:
Multi-account cash flow management
Banking transactions and payments
Physical and virtual card issuance, activation, and control
AI-powered accounting automation
Build polished, responsive UIs using
Jetpack Compose
.
Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and thorough code reviews are non-negotiable.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product — you'll be shaping solutions end-to-end, not just implementing specs.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, challenge assumptions when needed, and proactively identify opportunities to build better.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.
Who You Are
You're pragmatic and have a proven track record of shipping products that matter. You communicate clearly across disciplines and thrive in a cross-functional environment where everyone is solving the same customer problem together.
Your experience includes:
Strong knowledge of
Kotlin
(Java knowledge is a plus) and 5+ years of commercial Android development.
Deep understanding of
OOP
,
SOLID
, and
Clean Architecture
.
Solid experience with presentation layer patterns —
MVI
,
MVVM
, and
MVP
— and the ability to choose the right one for the context.
Hands-on experience with our core stack:
Reactive programming & async:
RxJava
,
Kotlin Coroutines / Flow
Dependency injection:
Dagger 2
,
Hilt
, or
Koin
Networking:
Retrofit
Navigation:
Cicerone

Practical experience with
Firebase
(FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Experience with

in production.
Confidence with

, including setting up and maintaining
GitLab CI/CD
.
A builder's mentality — you care about the product, the users, and the outcomes, not just the code.
Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Background in fintech or experience with financial products — you understand the stakes.
Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain).
Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing overdraw, improving recomposition efficiency in Jetpack Compose, and hitting smooth 60/120fps rendering.
Hands-on work with performance tooling:
Android Profiler
,
Perfetto
,
Baseline Profiles
, or similar.

Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
The role
We are looking for a Treasury Operations and Reconciliations Manager to help run the daily operations that keep money moving safely through Finom Payments. Every payment our customers send or receive must be funded, settled, reconciled and safeguarded across SEPA, instant payments, cards and international transfers.
This is a hands-on senior role at a moment of change. Volumes are growing fast and instant payments run around the clock. We are connecting more directly to payment infrastructure, and new products such as lending and payment acceptance bring new money flows.
The path to a banking license raises the bar on control and reconciliation. You will take a major part in running the operation day to day, alongside a small team, and step in when money doesn't move as it should. You will also play a key role in designing actual money flows for new products, with our product and engineering teams, before they launch.
What you'll do
You perform settlement and reconciliation day to day, making sure every euro is where it should be.
Treasury operations. Daily funding of our payment channels and the buffers behind them, around the clock. Help bring new schemes and settlement models live safely.
Reconciliation across banks, card schemes, payment processors and custodians. Take it from daily balance checks to automated, transaction-level control.
Safeguarding and reporting. Keep client money fully protected every day, and make sure the related regulatory and scheme reporting is accurate and on time.
Funds-flow engineering. Help design how money moves for new products, markets and partners, and get it right before launch. That covers accounts, postings, safeguarding treatment, reconciliation and what happens when something fails.
Escalation. Be the escalation point when money doesn't move as it should. Build the cross-team processes so incidents get resolved fast and don't repeat.
Process and automation. Document how the operation works, remove single points of failure, and automate manual work with our engineering teams.
Capital, policies, models, investment decisions and trade execution sit with the Head of Treasury. You run the operations and say when the numbers stop matching reality. The split keeps policy, execution and reconciliation independent, as a banking licence requires.
Who you are
Three things are essential: you know payment systems in depth, you stay effective in an escalation, and you can engineer funds flows.
Experience in treasury operations, payment operations or reconciliation at an e-money institution, payment institution or bank.
Builder's mindset. You have turned manual, person-dependent work into documented, automated processes, working closely with engineers.
Escalation. You have handled money-impacting payment incidents from first alert to resolution, working with banks, schemes and internal teams.
Payment systems. Hands-on knowledge of rails such as SEPA, SWIFT and card schemes.
Funds-flow engineering. You have taken an active part in designing or rebuilding money flows for new products or payment rails, including the accounts, postings, safeguarding treatment and reconciliation behind them.
Control and clarity. Segregation of duties and audit readiness come naturally to you, and you can explain a complex money flow simply. Fluent English.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Join Anthropic's Customer Success team as one of the founding members of our Japan Customer Success team as we pioneer the future of enterprise AI adoption. As a Customer Success Manager at Anthropic, you'll be the strategic partner and trusted advisor to our most complex customers across Japan, helping them harness the full potential of all our Claude capabilities: API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code.
You'll develop genuine partnerships with customers, gaining a deep understanding of their business objectives, strategic direction, AI vision, and technical needs. You'll draw on both your business acumen and technical expertise to serve as a strategic advisor throughout their journey with us.
In partnership with the broader account team, you will help customers identify the right Claude capabilities for their specific business objectives. You'll work closely with them to provide best practices and guidance, and support them as their usage (consumption and seat based) grows and evolves.
Your role focuses on helping customers scale their usage effectively, implement change management strategies, optimize use cases, and maximize the value of their investment through expanded use cases across their organization. The insights you gather from your customers will directly inform our research priorities, product development, and go-to-market strategies. That makes you a key voice in shaping how we build and deliver ongoing value as a business.
As one of the founding members of our Customer Success team in Japan, you'll help shape how we build the function in-region. That includes establishing regional processes, developing new customer relationships, and representing Anthropic's brand in a high-growth market alongside a small, growing team. You'll operate with significant autonomy while maintaining strong alignment with global teams. This requires someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can work effectively across time zones.
Key responsibilities

Become an expert in Anthropic's products across API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code, understanding the technical nuances and best practices for each to guide customers to the right solutions
Leverage your deep knowledge of the customer and regional nuances to proactively drive usage planning, understanding current and future consumption and adoption and how it creates realized value for the customer
Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities, proactively addressing underutilization across both our consumption-based and seat-based products to drive full value from contracted commitments
Serve as the customer's thought partner, enhancing their knowledge of Claude products by socializing Anthropic's product roadmap, driving awareness of new products, and engaging Product PMs as the voice of Japanese customers
Document and quantify customer value realized through business outcomes, ROI, and impact metrics to build compelling internal business cases for continued and expanded investment
Identify potential use cases and lines of business not currently onboarded, partnering with customers to discover new applications for Claude across different departments, teams, and workflows
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value within customer organizations, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and organizational enablement
Own the customer experience across their lifecycle: manage comprehensive account and success plans grounded in the customer's business objectives, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, and serve as the primary conduit between the customer and Anthropic
Build Anthropic's brand and customer relationships as part of our founding in-region CS team, developing Japan-specific processes, playbooks, and best practices where needed that account for regional business cultures

Experience explaining and demonstrating technical products to various audiences
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple customer relationships

Preferred qualifications
6+ years of experience in relevant field
Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models, with understanding of different expansion levers and success metrics for each
Strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans
Cross-functional collaborator who represents the customer in a positive, proactive manner, rallying everyone around paths forward that solve customer needs
Experience working in and building a growing region, while navigating across time zones with US-based headquarters

Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lease Administration & Governance
- Proactively track, monitor, and manage critical dates for all lease events, including renewals and break clauses, acting as the primary conduit for populating and managing the tools that host our Real Estate data.
- Support the execution of Real Estate contracts by coordinating with Brokers, Procurement, Legal etc. to finalise signing, updating project budgets, and archiving completed agreements.
- Manage operational risk by ensuring all key details related to lease obligations are accurately recorded, tracked and action is taken.
- For business case generation, gather comparable evidence, property valuations, and market data to drive strategic negotiations.
- Liaise with regional, business and central teams to capture the justification and data necessary for business case approval.
- Manage subleasing activities, including monitoring sub-tenant compliance, tracking sublease income and key milestones, and coordinating with legal and property management teams.
2. Financial and Procurement Reporting
- Coordinate with Finance, Tax and Procurement teams for Real Estate budgets, including updating and managing the Real Estate OPEX and CAPEX budget tracking tools.
- Act as the central point of contact for all property-related budget reporting, preparing quarterly reviews in a clear, digestible format that includes Real Estate and Workplace costs - giving an all inclusive cost per desk / square foot / head.
- Assist in reporting refurbishment or new office delivery costs, against business as usual spend for operational office locations.
- Support the coordination of financial and legal documentation required for transactions, such as preparing group structure charts and financials for external parties (e.g., landlords).
3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Data Collation
- Lead the coordination and collection of energy, water, and utility consumption data across the global portfolio to support future CSR reporting requirements.
- Manage the challenge of obtaining utility data in co-working and serviced spaces where direct meter readings are complex, including liaising with local teams, operators and landlords to gather the necessary information.
- Act as the conduit between the CEO Office and ESG/CSR teams to ensure our portfolio meets the needs of Sustainability policies and or regulatory requirements.
4. Departmental Administrative Support
- Assist in due diligence and preparation of business cases by researching and reporting on regional office statistics (e.g., desk counts, utilisation, attendance, capacity & commercials).
- Act as a key liaison for business case presentation and refinement.
- Maintain dynamic headcount forecasts to ensure space planning aligns with evolving business needs, particularly for high-growth regions.
- Monitor and document team shift patterns to inform workspace strategy (e.g., HVAC service requirements, after-hours access, and desk rotation models).
- Monitor and manage utilisation reports for Serviced Offices, along with onboard and offboard leaves to locations where we do not directly manage access control.
- Maintain the central digital repository for all property documentation (leases, contracts, floor plans, and insurance certificates), ensuring strict naming conventions, accessibility, and version control are met to ensure 100% audit-readiness.
- Schedule and prepare agendas, collate pre-read materials, and document meeting minutes for key real estate governance forums, proactively tracking action items to ensure timely closure by stakeholders.
- Managing the administrative aspects of the "joiner/leaver" process for office access where no assigned Workplace / People person is assigned.
- Act as the primary administrator for processing property-related invoices, performing the initial "first-pass" review to flag discrepancies against purchase orders (POs) and ensuring all costs are accurately coded before final submission to Finance.
5. Health, Safety & Physical Security Management
- Coordinate the global H&S audit schedule in partnership with SMEs, managing the central audit database, evidence library, action log, and training records to track progress and compliance.
- Support the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting framework to surface risk trends and audit completion status, allocating audits to regional teams for execution.
- Own the scheduling, chasing, and evidence trail for the audit lifecycle, acting as the primary administrative point of contact to ensure smooth execution.
- Drive the audit lifecycle by ensuring all actions are identified, triaged, and managed to resolution, proactively identifying blockers and managing overdue items.
- Ensure regional teams interpret and apply the central H&S framework in accordance with local laws while maintaining the global baseline standards.
- Manage the integration of the H&S framework with wider Real Estate RACI to ensure clear accountability and prevent overlaps in responsibilities.
- Implement and maintain physical security policies and standards across all global office locations.
- Instruct periodic physical security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Oversee visitor management processes and physical security measures to safeguard personnel and assets.

We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Elasticsearch, Scala) to join a team powering food search and logging for one of the world’s leading health and nutrition platforms. You’ll contribute directly to the systems that drive search — backend services, search infrastructure, and experimentation — with a focus on improving core metrics: conversion rates, time to log, query abandonment, and result relevance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Contribute to, build, and maintain backend services that drive the food search experience, integrating with systems across the broader engineering organization.
- Perform search performance tuning end-to-end — data design, indexing, query evaluation, and iterative improvement within Elasticsearch.
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of search and data technologies that improve result quality and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with senior search engineers, product management, and leadership on solution discovery, experiment planning, and delivery.
- Contribute to the development of tools, processes, and metrics for measuring and monitoring search quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Elasticsearch
- Demonstrated experience with performance tuning, query analysis, and relevance optimization in Elasticsearch at scale.
- Strong understanding of index design, mapping strategies, cluster management, and scoring/ranking mechanics.
- Familiarity with high availability, disaster recovery, and operational monitoring for Elasticsearch clusters.
- Ability to deploy new indexes or clusters as needed for load balancing or experimentation.
- Ability to translate product specifications into technical requirements and deploy ranking and relevance experiments with clearly defined success criteria and metrics.
Scala
- Strong experience writing, shipping, and maintaining Scala services in production.
- Comfortable working across a stack that also includes SQL and Python — Scala is the primary language for this engagement.
Agentic development
- Active user of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable AI-powered coding environments — shipping production code with them, not just using autocomplete.
- Familiarity with agentic coding patterns and workflows — code generation, refactoring, debugging, and test authoring.
- Able to articulate how AI tooling fits into their development process and where human judgment remains critical.
Engineering fundamentals
- First-hand experience building, scaling, and supporting large-scale data infrastructure systems in production.
- Strong understanding of database design, data architecture, and performance tuning across multiple data stores — MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, or similar.
- Experience with high-volume messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
- Strong peer code review practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leveraging AI workflows for meaningful development acceleration beyond autocomplete — code generation, refactoring, debugging, and test authoring at scale.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
