Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
Solvd is migrating a Tier-1 US payments platform from a single AWS region to a multi-region architecture.
We're hiring multiple Database Engineers to implement the DynamoDB replication, failover, and operational tooling for this program. You'll work under the Principal Database Architect and partner with the client's data and SRE teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Implement and operate cross-region replication using Amazon DynamoDB Global Tables, ensuring reliable multi-region data replication, high availability, consistency, and disaster recovery.
- Codify everything in Terraform (or CDK).
- Build the observability layer for replication health: lag metrics, consistency checks, alarm thresholds, and runbook automation. Datadog is the primary observability stack; CloudWatch is the baseline.
- Author and execute failover and failback runbooks. Run game-days using AWS Fault Injection Service. Measure and report against RTO and RPO targets.
- Implement KMS cross-account replication, IAM service principals for replication roles, and the secrets and parameter strategy for region-local dependencies.
- Support data extraction from the monolith into microservices: build CDC pipelines (DMS, DynamoDB Streams, Kafka Connect, Debezium), validate data integrity, and own the cutover sequence for individual extractions.
- Pair with application engineers on connection-string abstraction, retry and idempotency patterns, and graceful degradation during region failover.
- Write design docs and runbooks the client team can take over after the engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING (REQUIRED)
- 8+ years in production database engineering on AWS, with hands-on responsibility for at least one of: payments, banking, brokerage, or comparable financial-services workloads.
- Deep production experience with DynamoDB and at least two of: Aurora MySQL, Cassandra, ElastiCache (Redis or Valkey), DocumentDB, Neptune. Working knowledge of at least two more.
- Practical experience with cross-region replication in production using DynamoDB Global Tables: you've configured and operated multi-region DynamoDB deployments and handled failure scenarios such as replication conflicts, regional outages, replication delays, and consistency or version-skew issues.
- Strong Terraform (or CDK). You can build a multi-region module from scratch and explain the trade-offs.
- Comfort with CDC tooling (DMS, DDB Streams, Kafka Connect, or Debezium) and the operational gotchas (schema drift, ordering guarantees, replay).
- Linux, networking fundamentals (VPC, Transit Gateway, peering, DNS), and IAM / KMS proficiency.
- Solid written communication and ability to operate in a regulated client environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Cassandra multi-DC operations experience at scale (nodetool workflows, repair strategy, tombstone management, cross-region anti-entropy).
- AWS MSK or Kafka MirrorMaker 2 experience for cross-region event replication.
- Experience with Datadog Database Monitoring and custom CloudWatch metrics.
- AWS Database Specialty or Solutions Architect Associate / Professional certifications.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.

Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is shaping the future of Go-To-Market, and as a Solutions Consultant (SC), you’ll bring that future to life by building alongside customers and turning their biggest challenges into measurable outcomes. As a customer-facing, quota-carrying SC, you’ll bring together technical fluency and commercial ownership to grow your book of business. You’ll build pipeline with BDRs, engage key stakeholders, lead discovery, co-build workflow solutions live with customers, and guide opportunities through close. You’ll connect each solution to a clear business case and stay engaged through adoption, expansion, and renewal so customers realize the value of what they buy.
You’ll partner with BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists while maintaining clear ownership of customer relationships, opportunity momentum, and next steps. If you’re a builder who loves to sell—and want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise—this is the role.

The role
THE ROLE
We are hiring a
Senior Backend Engineer
for two platform products:
Xsolla ID
is the identity and authentication platform behind sign-in, account management and SSO across Xsolla products.
Xsolla ZK
is Web3 wallet infrastructure: smart wallets and account abstraction on a zkSync-based L2.
Both products sit on users' most sensitive flows, logging in and signing transactions, and other Xsolla teams build on top of them.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The backend services of your product area end to end: design, implementation, release and production operation, including on-call
Architecture across services: service boundaries, integration contracts and data ownership. You make these decisions and justify them in writing
Reliability and security of critical flows: SLOs, failure handling, protection of user data and credentials
Service performance and cost under load
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design and build services and APIs (REST, gRPC) for authentication, account management and wallet operations
Define service boundaries and integration contracts with other Xsolla teams
Design data models and storage; optimize schemas and queries

NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar)
Domain experience in gaming, e-commerce, fintech or payments
HOW WE WORK
Decisions in writing.
Significant technical decisions are written up as an RFC or ADR that lays out the options and trade-offs. We discuss the document, not a blank whiteboard.
AI is part of everyday engineering.
We use AI coding tools for development and review, and we treat configuring them for a codebase as real engineering work.
HOW WE HIRE
Intro call.
Your background, your motivation and the role.
Technical interview.
Built directly on the

Bar raiser.
An engineer from outside the hiring team checks that you raise the overall engineering bar.
THE TEAM
You will work alongside product managers, designers, backend and frontend engineers, QA and DevOps.

- Own forecast accuracy and bias performance for assigned areas, identify root causes of forecast misses, and drive actions to continuously improve forecast quality, planning processes, methodologies, and system capabilities.
- Develop scenarios that quantify the impact of changes in demand, launch timing, promotions, assortment, channel strategy, and other key business decisions, translating findings into clear recommendations for Planning and business leadership.
- Partner closely with Supply Planning to translate demand changes into supply requirements and understand resulting inventory, capacity, service, and timing implications while proactively identifying and communicating material risks and opportunities.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through large or imperfect datasets and translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong commercial judgment and demonstrated ability to connect business strategy with demand, inventory, and operational implications.
- Proven ability to influence, communicate clearly, and drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills; experience with BI tools and planning platforms such as o9, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or similar systems is beneficial.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world’s longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a small, dedicated growth and experimentation team within Krak, focused on accelerating acquisition, activation, engagement and trading activity across the Krak app. This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role: the majority of your work will be in React Native, supported by enough backend capability to take an experiment from idea to live without waiting on another team.
Rather than executing against a rigid roadmap, you’ll work closely with Product on a continuous pipeline of fast, lightweight experiments, owning each one from hypothesis through implementation, launch, measurement and iteration. The mandate is simple: find the highest-leverage opportunities to grow users and revenue, prove what works, and scale the winners – with direct, measurable impact on how millions of customers discover and use Kraken’s products.
The opportunity
- Build and ship consumer-facing features quickly in React Native and TypeScript, favouring small, high-velocity experiments over long-running projects.
- Own experiments end-to-end – hypothesis, design, build, launch, measurement and iteration – using platforms such as Statsig to test globally or within specific markets.
- Improve onboarding, activation and feature discovery to drive conversion, engagement and trading revenue, iterating rapidly on features that are already live.
- Build viral acquisition features and value-add growth features on top of Krak’s existing product offering.
- Contribute to backend services and APIs wherever an experiment requires it, so you can ship across the stack without being blocked. Our backend is primarily Rust; prior Rust experience is not expected, but enthusiasm for picking it up is.
- Read your own results, including trade-offs between conversion gains and other metrics, and decide whether to scale, iterate or kill – driving technical decisions autonomously amid evolving priorities and limited upfront planning.
What you bring
- 6+ years of software development experience building and shipping large-scale, consumer-facing applications. Strong, hands-on React and React Native experience is essential.
- Demonstrated experience running growth experiments at consumer-facing businesses, with measurable impact on conversion, activation, retention or revenue. This is a consumer growth role, so B2B or platform-only backgrounds are not a fit.
- Working backend proficiency: you can design and implement services and APIs yourself. We care about backend fundamentals rather than any particular language, and you should be open to working in Rust.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals, with hands-on experience across APIs, WebSockets and real-time systems, mobile performance, testing, and modern development workflows.
- Practical experience designing, running and analysing A/B tests – feature flags, statistical significance, product analytics, funnel and cohort data – with the judgement to act decisively on what the results show.
- End-to-end ownership of product features and a strong product engineering mindset, with the initiative and adaptability to operate with minimal direction amid ambiguity and frequently changing priorities.
Nice to haves
- Customer-facing product experience within fintech, digital banking, payments, trading or crypto.
- Hands-on experience with Statsig or a comparable experimentation platform, including regional and global rollouts.
- Rust experience, given our backend stack.
- SQL and self-serve analytics, so you can pull and interrogate your own data.
- AI fluency. Familiarity with how AI tools and patterns have fundamentally shifted your development workflow and problem-solving approach.
- Native mobile development (iOS/Android), distributed systems or microservices, or engineering within a hyperscaling consumer technology organisation.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer or Tech Lead who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, not just the tickets in the backlog.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team (Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product) and own the end-to-end development of features that genuinely matter: company accounts and cash flows, banking transactions, card issuance and management, and AI-enabled accounting. You'll help shape architecture decisions, raise the bar on engineering quality, and mentor the engineers around you.
If you're energized by working at the intersection of great mobile engineering and real product impact — this is the role.
What You’ll Do
Design and build new features for our Android application, used daily by business owners across Europe.
Architect and implement reliable, intuitive solutions for:
Multi-account cash flow management
Banking transactions and payments
Physical and virtual card issuance, activation, and control
AI-powered accounting automation
Build polished, responsive UIs using
Jetpack Compose
.
Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and thorough code reviews are non-negotiable.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product — you'll be shaping solutions end-to-end, not just implementing specs.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, challenge assumptions when needed, and proactively identify opportunities to build better.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.
Who You Are
You're pragmatic and have a proven track record of shipping products that matter. You communicate clearly across disciplines and thrive in a cross-functional environment where everyone is solving the same customer problem together.
Your experience includes:
Strong knowledge of
Kotlin
(Java knowledge is a plus) and 5+ years of commercial Android development.
Deep understanding of
OOP
,
SOLID
, and
Clean Architecture
.
Solid experience with presentation layer patterns —
MVI
,

, and
MVP
— and the ability to choose the right one for the context.

RxJava
,
Kotlin Coroutines / Flow
Dependency injection:
Dagger 2
,
Hilt
, or
Koin
Networking:
Retrofit
Navigation:
Cicerone

(FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Experience with

, including setting up and maintaining

.
A builder's mentality — you care about the product, the users, and the outcomes, not just the code.
Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Background in fintech or experience with financial products — you understand the stakes.
Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain).
Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing overdraw, improving recomposition efficiency in Jetpack Compose, and hitting smooth 60/120fps rendering.
Hands-on work with performance tooling:
Android Profiler
,
Perfetto
,
Baseline Profiles
, or similar.

Who You Are

Practical experience with
Firebase
(FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Experience with
Feature-module architecture
in production.
Confidence with
Git / GitLab
, including setting up and maintaining
