Champion a customer-obsessed culture, noticing early indicators of success or failure in customer engagements and raising and correcting them with urgency.
Lead discovery, design, and delivery of tailored technical solutions, including PoCs, evaluations and business value assessments.
Represent Fin and the FDE function externally through executive meetings and strategic events.
What skills do I need?
5+ years of technical experience in roles such as Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Applied AI or related technical roles.
Having 3+ years of experience leading technical customer-facing teams, with a proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
Experience selling and deploying AI, data, or highly technical products in complex enterprise environments.
Comfortable with a problem space that is ambiguous in nature, and capable of translating that ambiguity into clear signals for Product and Engineering and for positive customer outcomes.

Own all incident communications: draft and send clear, timely updates to senior leadership, Customer Success, and partner/customer contacts throughout the incident lifecycle, and manage customer-facing status page updates (status.xsolla.com).
Facilitate blameless Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs) for major incidents — leading root cause identification, assigning corrective actions with clear owners and deadlines, and tracking them to closure.

Enforce the incident management framework across the organization, including the severity model, priority matrix, SLA targets, escalation procedures, and deployment readiness gates.
Oversee and mentor the Operations Engineer on your shift — coaching on triage, investigation, runbook execution, and documentation quality while conducting regular knowledge transfer sessions to build depth across the service portfolio.
Produce shift handoff reports and deliver regular operational reporting: incident trends, KPI performance (MTTD, MTTA, MTTR), SLA adherence, proactive detection rate, and repeat incident analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — ability to draft clear, concise executive updates at 3 AM under pressure, facilitate blameless PIRs, present operational metrics to senior leadership, and communicate incident status to customers and partners with clarity and professionalism.
Strong ITIL foundation — understanding of incident, problem, and change management lifecycles with practical experience implementing or operating ITIL-aligned workflows.
Technical depth across the observability stack — ability to read and interpret logs, traces, and metrics in Datadog (or equivalent: Grafana, Splunk, New Relic). Understanding of APM, SLOs, error budgets, burn-rate alerting, and synthetic monitoring.
Hands-on experience with incident tooling: Datadog, PagerDuty or OpsGenie, JIRA or JIRA Service Management, Slack, and Confluence.
Analytical mindset — ability to identify trends, patterns, and recurring issues from incident data and translate them into actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.
Experience with SLA/SLO-driven operations where MTTD, MTTA, and MTTR are measured, reported, and improved.
Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted operations: anomaly detection, alert correlation, predictive alerting, automated remediation, or self-healing automation.
Comfort with 24x7 shift-based operations as part of a follow-the-sun model with handoff overlaps. Weekend on-call (rotating) for critical severities is required.
Nice to have:
Experience in the gaming, payments, or fintech industry.
Experience with customer/partner-facing incident communications and status page management.
JIRA Service Management administration experience: workflows, SLA timers, automation rules, queues, and permissions.
Familiarity with Datadog Service Catalog, scorecards, and SLOs — especially burn-rate alerts and multi-window SLOs.
Experience building an operations function from scratch — defining processes, writing runbooks, establishing governance cadences.
Background in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), microservices architecture, or distributed systems.
ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) is a plus but not required.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Wolt’s AdTech & Promotions team is building the systems that power how restaurants and brands grow on our platform. From campaign creation to optimization and forecasting, we develop tools that help advertisers make smarter decisions and drive measurable results. As we expand our offering, we are investing in new capabilities that combine real-time data, scalable systems, and intuitive user experiences to unlock the next phase of growth.
We’re looking for a
Staff Engineer
to join the Wolt AdTech & Promotions organization, who can drive technical direction across this space and help us build reliable, scalable systems that directly impact revenue and advertiser success.
What you’ll be doing
Drive the technical vision and architecture for Wolt’s AdTech and Promotions platforms, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and projects, bringing architectural consistency to complex, large-scale systems.
Work across the
end-to-end domain
, contributing to backend services, data pipelines, and advertiser-facing tools.
Design and evolve systems that support
campaign execution, targeting, ranking, allocation, and reporting
in real-time or near real-time environments.
Partner with engineering, product, and data stakeholders to align priorities, improve campaign performance, and manage trade-offs in a revenue-driven environment.
Lead large cross-team projects, guiding them from concept to rollout across multiple regions and time zones.
Ensure strong operational excellence, including observability, reliability, and incident readiness for revenue-critical systems.
Promote best engineering practices, mentor engineers across teams, and support their growth in scalability and system design.
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical colleagues, ensuring clarity and alignment across functions.
Contribute to the technical roadmaps of AdTech and Promotions platforms by collaborating with other senior engineers.
This position is based in
London
Our humble expectations

.

Experience working with
data-intensive and real-time or near real-time systems
.
Familiarity with AdTech concepts such as
targeting, ranking, attribution, or experimentation
is a strong plus.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and languages; while many of our services are written in Kotlin and Go, we are looking for someone language-agnostic.
Ability to dive quickly into new domains and navigate complex system interactions.
Familiarity with modern cloud-native tools and data systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB).
Communication & Influence
Strong communicator with the ability to influence, align, and build consensus across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a global environment across
US and international teams

Skilled at translating complex technical decisions into clear direction for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience mentoring and coaching engineers, helping raise the technical bar across teams.
Strong sense of ownership combined with a collaborative mindset
, able to work effectively across team boundaries to deliver shared outcomes.

challenging AdTech problems at scale
, where technical decisions directly impact revenue and user experience.
Our compensation follows a
total compensation model
, combining a competitive base salary with DoorDash RSUs.
You will play a key role in
building and evolving the next generation of advertisement tools and platforms
, shaping how advertisers create, manage, and optimize campaigns across Wolt. This is not just about maintaining systems, but about
defining and scaling new capabilities in a fast-growing domain

At JetBrains, code is our passion. Ever since we started, back in 2000, we have strived to make the strongest, most effective developer tools on earth. By automating routine checks and corrections, our tools speed up production, freeing developers to grow, discover, and create.
We just unveiled JetBrains Central, a platform for agent-driven software development that connects tools, agents, and infrastructure. It enables automated AI workflows to run, be monitored, and be managed across teams – with clear visibility into results, costs, and performance.
JetBrains Central provides three core capabilities:
Governance and control:
Policy enforcement, identity and access management, observability, auditability, and cost attribution for agent-driven work. Some of these functionalities are already available via the
JetBrains Central Console
.
Agent execution infrastructure:
Cloud agent runtimes and computation provisioning that allow agents to run reliably across development environments.
Agent optimization and context:
Shared semantic context across repositories and projects, enabling agents to access relevant knowledge, and task routing to the most appropriate models or tools.
Inside the Professional Services department, we are building a team of Forward Deployed Engineers to help our customers adopt AI-native development with JetBrains Central and enable JetBrains consulting partners to transform their customers’ AI-native software development lifecycle.
About the role
As a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with early adopter customers to deploy JetBrains Central platform into complex enterprise environments and help them move from experimental AI usage to governed, scalable AI-native development.
You will act as a trusted advisor to customer engineering teams and consulting partners, while also mentoring other Forward Deployed Engineers and helping with complex deployments. In this role, you will help establish best practices for enterprise AI adoption and influence how organizations implement AI-driven software development.
This role is often a strong fit for engineers who have previously served as Principal or Staff Engineers, Heads of Engineering, CTOs, or Solutions Architects and who enjoy working directly with customers while staying deeply involved with complex technical systems.
This role combines consulting, architecture, and hands-on engineering. Your work in the field will directly influence how our platform evolves and how enterprises adopt AI-driven development.
You will work directly with the world’s most innovative companies — our client base includes 420 of the Fortune 500 — ensuring they maximize the value of their JetBrains investments.
What you’ll do
Deploy JetBrains Central platform into enterprise development environments, CI/CD systems, and internal developer platforms.
Help organizations transition from ad-hoc AI experimentation to governed AI-native development workflows.
Implement enterprise AI governance, including security policies, access management, and data privacy controls.
Enable observability for AI-driven development to help organizations understand their AI usage and its impact on productivity, as well as their code-generation patterns.
Design sustainable AI adoption strategies, including usage controls and cost visibility across multiple model providers.
Integrate our cloud-based agent execution layer, allowing AI agents to run securely and at scale.
Collaborate closely with JetBrains product teams to shape the platform based on real-world deployments and customer feedback.
Create delivery frameworks and train JetBrains partners to deliver the desired scope of service.
Mentor and support other Forward Deployed Engineers, sharing architectural expertise and helping to scale the team’s deployment practices.
You will thrive in this role if you are
A consultant at heart who can communicate effectively with both engineers and technical leadership.
Able to see the whole picture of the software development lifecycle across developer tools, infrastructure, APIs, and cloud systems.
Experienced at integrating complex software systems into enterprise environments.
Curious about the future of AI agents and AI-native software development.
Comfortable working with early adopters and overcoming ambiguous technical challenges.
Motivated to mentor other engineers and contribute to building a new technical discipline.
What you will bring
Experience in software-related projects, ideally in a customer-facing or consulting environment.
Familiarity with Java or Python.
Experience building or integrating developer platforms, infrastructure systems, or software solutions.
Familiarity with modern development workflows (CI/CD, developer environments, internal developer platforms, etc.).
Experience working directly with customers or technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in fast-evolving technical environments.
Ability and desire to travel to meet customers.
These would be a plus, but are not blockers
Experience with industry-specific solutions (fintech, telco, retail, etc.)
Experience with AI/LLM platforms, agent frameworks, or AI-assisted development tools.
Experience in solutions engineering, consulting, or forward-deployed engineering roles.
Familiarity with the JetBrains ecosystem or developer productivity tooling.
