Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are hiring our first Sydney-based Product Support Specialists, who will grow our global presence as a team and serve as champions of our unique support brand. You’ll be at the front lines of safely delivering AI to the world by responding to, investigating, and tracking user needs in your day-to-day. Clearly and empathetically communicate with a wide range of user personas, context-switching between guiding executives in a high-touch model and assisting consumer users at a rapid pace

Prioritize critically and comfortably adapt to an ever-evolving product landscape
Operate in ambiguity, making informed decisions even in never-before-seen situations
Partner with engineers, teammates, and other internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve user issues, both individually and at scale
Suggest and drive improvements to increase user satisfaction through support processes, as well as own initiatives that increase efficiency and drive down contact rates
Uplevel our team’s technical knowledge by scoping gaps, working with cross-functional partners to deeply understand relevant nuances, and building resources that grow with our products
You may be a good fit if you
Have experience in providing technical product support within a second-tier, escalated, or priority support team

Have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive situations while meeting core support metrics targets (e.g., CSAT, SLA, etc.)
Possess strong user empathy and are expert in the lifecycle of a support case; you can read between the lines of a user’s question, put yourself in their shoes, and get at the heart of their needs for a speedy, satisfying resolution
Have crisp but kind written communication skills and a deep care for the details
Enjoy helping others learn about new features and complex concepts
Are persistent and curious; you delight in the hunt of tracking down a bug or issue, and are energized by fixing this for all similar users going forward
Have experience contributing to the foundations of a support team. This is essential, highly valuable, but often unglamorous work, and it is particularly key for this role due to it being among the first Support hires in APAC/ANZ
Are proficient at working in a technical environment and are interested in Anthropic’s products
Possess a deep sense of ownership, and are excited to help us build our team!

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:

Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

PAYOR INTELLIGENCE SR. ANALYST
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, "They'll be in touch soon." So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We're seeking a Payor Intelligence Analyst with deep knowledge of the U.S. payor landscape and a talent for turning fragmented, conflicting information into durable logic. Understanding how payors actually relate to one another, which entities own which plans, who delegates what, and which policy applies when, is work our entire product depends on. You'll build and own payor intelligence at Tennr as a zero-to-one function.
The payor landscape is a massive, constantly shifting dataset: parent organizations, subsidiaries, TPAs, PBMs, Medicaid MCOs, Medicare Advantage plans, delegated UM vendors, acquisitions, and rebrands. Your job is to make it legible, building the taxonomies, hierarchies, and governance that let our models and teams reason correctly about it, and translating that reality into product requirements alongside engineering, clinical, and operations.
If you've developed deep payer expertise inside a large organization, this is the rare seat with clear ownership and impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and own payor entity mapping: the hierarchies, families, subsidiaries, TPAs, PBMs, and delegated relationships that define how coverage and authorization actually flow.
- Source, interpret, and govern medical policies, coverage criteria, government guidance, and fee schedules, establishing effective dating, provenance, and version control.
- Design the delegated-relationship logic behind prior authorization, determining which entity owns the decision for a given plan, product, and service.
- Identify and track the clinical content sources our policies depend on, such as InterQual and NCCN, and own what we need to contract for and when.
- Map prospect and customer payor data back to Tennr's payor model, turning a recurring manual effort into a repeatable system.
- Embrace a founder's mindset, proactively driving projects from conception to completion, and contributing significantly to our company's growth and success.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years working across the U.S. payor landscape, with real breadth across Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and MCOs, and commercial lines of business.
- Fluency in payor structure: payor families, subsidiaries, TPAs, PBMs, delegated entities, regional versus national plans, and self-funded versus fully insured arrangements.
- Experience researching and interpreting payor policies, government guidance, fee schedules, or clinical guidelines, including reconciling sources that disagree with each other.
- A track record of building taxonomies, frameworks, databases, or mapping systems that other people rely on, not just answering questions as they come in.
- Exceptional analytical and pattern-recognition skills, with the investigative instinct to work productively from ambiguous and incomplete information.
- Self-directed ownership of a domain end to end, without predefined process or constant validation.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex payor concepts to a diverse audience.
- Familiarity with SQL or comparable data tooling is a plus.
WHY TENNR?
- Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won't just talk about things, you'll get them done. And feel the impact.
- Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure
- Innovate with Purpose: we're not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you'll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
- Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Hudson Square office (travel to office on quarterly basis)
BENEFITS
- Remote Flexibility
- Unlimited PTO

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

This is a management role. You will serve as the central point of contact for those who conduct content review, managing day-to-day workflows, quality assurance, and escalation processes. You will also work closely with internal Engineering, Policy, and Legal teams to scale detection systems and close enforcement gaps as the threat landscape evolves.
Important context for this role: In this position you will regularly be exposed to and engage with explicit content of a sexual nature involving minors, as well as content that may be violent or psychologically disturbing. Identify and report trends in misuse patterns to internal stakeholders, including Policy, Legal, and Trust & Safety leadership
Coordinate reporting obligations to relevant external bodies (e.g., NCMEC) in accordance with applicable law and Anthropic policy
Minimum qualifications
Experience managing teams in the User Well-Being space
Experience in trust & safety, content moderation operations, or policy enforcement with direct exposure to child safety, mental health, abuse and exploitation, and age assurance harm areas
Experience managing or coordinating content review operations, including quality assurance and workflow management
Experience standing up and scaling policy enforcement or content review workflows
Proficiency in SQL and/or other data analysis tools to monitor workflow health, review queue metrics, and surface enforcement trends
Experience identifying emerging risks and communicating findings to cross-functional stakeholders, such as Product, Policy, Engineering, and Legal teams
Understanding of the challenges involved in implementing product policies at scale in the content moderation space
Preferred qualifications
Deep subject matter expertise in child safety, child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA), online child protection, mental wellness, and age assurance
Experience working with or reporting to NCMEC, IWF, or equivalent child safety reporting bodies

Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

Own non-functional requirements, including scalability, resiliency, security, latency, and cost.
Collaborate with business, technology, and ISV teams to define scope, estimates, timelines, milestones, and phased delivery plans.
Provide cost inputs and trade-off analysis (build vs. configure, in-house vs. ISV-delivered).
Evaluate requirements against OMS OOB capabilities before recommending customization.
Document OOB versus custom decisions and rationale.
Define architectural standards, coding guidelines, integration patterns, and governance processes.
Establish architecture review checkpoints and maintain architecture documentation.
Lead solution workshops, architecture reviews, and trade-off discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
Represent architecture decisions in client governance forums.
Domain & Technical Expertise
Strong B2B OMS domain knowledge, including order lifecycle, inventory/allocation, fulfillment orchestration, and returns.
Preference for direct Burgeon OMS experience; experience with standalone OMS products and ERP-embedded OMS modules (e.g., Oracle EBS Order Management) is relevant.
Knowledge of OMS integrations with Payment Gateways, PLM, Loyalty Platforms, Recommendation Engines, WMS, and Promotion Frameworks.
Expertise in Java/J2EE, microservices, event-driven architecture, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, preferably AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, Secrets Manager, and S3.
Engineering, Governance & Support
Define and enforce Agile delivery practices, architecture governance, and CI/CD standards.

Must be locally based in China.
Business proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
