ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp is building institutional partnerships with the GSI (Global System Integrators), Big-Four consulting firms, and global advisory firms that shape finance transformation, ERP modernization, and technology decisions for the CFOs and finance leaders we serve. These organizations are often in the room when enterprise clients are redesigning their finance stack, selecting technology, or moving from strategy into implementation.
This portfolio spans the largest global professional services firms (e.g., Deloitte) and GSIs (e.g., Infosys). They are complex organizations with distinct service lines (e.g., ERP, Tech Modernization, Finance Transformation) each with its own leadership, incentives, and economics, so earning credibility inside one is as much about navigating the firm as it is about the relationship.
This role will own Ramp's relationship with that network of firms, building firm-specific go-to-market motions that can include executive engagement, account mapping, co-sell, implementation alignment, thought leadership, and events. Ramp's relationships here are early and largely informal today, so this person will be responsible for the relationship, the partnership thesis, and the operating motion that makes a firm a meaningful Ramp partner over time.
What You'll Do
- Own Ramp's relationships with a portfolio of the largest global professional services, GSIs, and consulting firms, serving as the primary relationship owner
- Map each firm and build credibility with the partners, practice leaders, alliance teams and client-service teams who matter most
- Turn executive introductions into structured partnerships, developing the partnership thesis, executive sponsor plan, target practices and client wedge for each firm
- Negotiate and close the first formal agreements between Ramp and these firms
- Build market-facing proof points with Ramp's leadership, marketing and product teams, including executive events, thought leadership and shared client stories
- Coordinate execution across Ramp, bringing the right Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Product, AI Solutions and executive sponsors into each firm relationship
- Establish and maintain the operating cadence: relationship maps, firm plans, account maps and next steps
What You Need
- 6+ years of experience in consulting, alliances, partnerships or an adjacent role. Time inside a top-tier professional services or global consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte) is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional executive presence. You can hold a room with senior leaders, earn trust quickly, and be trusted to represent Ramp in meetings without support
- Fluency in how large, matrixed professional services firms actually work, including how practices are incentivized and how a technology partner earns internal endorsement
- Proven ability to run many workstreams and complex stakeholder management
- A builder's instinct. You are energized by an empty page, comfortable without a playbook, and bring structure to ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and the judgment to calibrate between an executive conversation and a working session
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% and to be based in a major metro. New York preferred
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

About the Role
We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer to lead technical direction across GitLab's Core DevOps services, the systems the majority of our users touch every day. Distinguished Engineers are recognized experts across multiple technology domains and represent the most senior level of technical leadership within and across divisions at the company.
Core DevOps builds continuous Integration, continuous deployment, planning, and source control experiences. These are among the most mature, highest traffic, and most deeply interconnected systems at GitLab. They carry years of accumulated architectural decisions, they sit in the critical path of our customers' own delivery pipelines, and they are being reshaped by the shift toward AI native development. The job is to raise their quality, converge them onto a coherent go-forward architecture, and retire accumulated risk, all without interrupting the millions of users and Fortune 100 organizations who depend on them.
GitLab is pursuing a set of company-wide engineering goals: large gains in developer productivity, measurably higher quality in what we ship, and engineering practices reshaped around AI and agentic workflows. Core DevOps is where much of that strategy has to land, because these are the services our own engineers and our customers depend on daily. In this role you will bring that strategy into Core DevOps in a form that works for long lived production systems, and carry what you learn here back out to the rest of engineering.
What You'll Do
Set and continuously refine the go forward technical direction for CI, CD, Plan, and source code experiences, aligned against the horizontal architectural initiatives.
Work directly with the VP of Engineering as her technical counterpart on planning, technical investment, and where the group's engineering effort should go.
Translate GitLab's company-wide productivity, quality, and AI native engineering goals into concrete technical direction for Core DevOps, and turn into iterable roadmaps, partnering broadly across the org.
Define what good means in measurable terms for these services, including availability, latency at p95 and p99, pipeline success rate, test reliability, data correctness, and defect escape rate, then hold designs and implementations to it.
Maintain a clear and current picture of systemic technical risk across the group, including single points of failure, unowned critical paths, brittle coupling between CI/CD and Plan, scaling limits, and past decisions that now constrain the roadmap. Drive a prioritized plan to retire it.
Lead the hardest design decisions hands on, writing code, prototypes, and proofs of concept where a design argument needs evidence behind it.
Drive convergence on shared patterns, libraries, and paved paths, reducing how many different ways the same problem gets solved across the group.
Design migration paths that let large, long lived systems change underneath users without breaking them, using incremental cutover, dual run, measurable rollback, and deprecation with clear timelines.
Adopt the platform capabilities coming from GitLab's AI organization and the company's productivity initiatives into Core DevOps, feed this group's requirements back into them, and help prove what works on systems of this scale and maturity.
Serve as the escalation point for complex or contested technical decisions across the group, including those where no single team owns the outcome.
Review significant designs and merge requests in the group's critical paths, and use review to teach rather than only to gate.
Ensure designs hold across GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments, and respect multi-tenant, compliance, and data governance boundaries in each.
Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and SRE so Core DevOps services are observable and debuggable, and so failure modes degrade gracefully instead of cascading.
Make architectural constraints and opportunities clear to Product in roadmap terms, so that technical investment and product ambition get planned together instead of traded off late.
Write clear, opinionated design documents, architecture narratives, and decision records that let teams across the group make aligned decisions independently.
Grow Principal and Staff Engineers across Core DevOps, raise the bar on design rigor and technical writing, and contribute to the technical hiring bar for senior individual contributors.
Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation to help meet availability goals for GitLab.com, and complete Interview Training to participate in hiring as a technical interviewer or panel member.
What You'll Bring
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
Deep expertise in AI and ML systems, including large language models, agentic frameworks, and autonomous workflow design at production scale.
Proven track record of leading hands-on technical experimentation, including defining evaluation frameworks, running benchmarks, and translating findings into scalable architecture decisions.
Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems, including service decomposition, fault tolerance, observability, and operational resilience.
Experience designing and implementing human-in-the-loop controls, safety guardrails, and responsible AI practices for production systems.
Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams or divisions without direct authority.
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed organization with excellent written and asynchronous communication skills.

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
Docker's Product-Led Growth (PLG) team owns turning product usage into revenue across the full Platform: the Container business (Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, Docker Build Cloud, Docker Scout) and the AI business (Sandboxes, AI Governance, Model Runner, MCP Toolkit, MCP Catalog). Lifecycle marketing is one of the fastest-scaling parts of that team: it already owns user and admin nurtures, renewal automation, and first-touch outreach for PQLs and inbound leads, running against a marketable base in the tens of millions.
As Senior Lifecycle Marketer, you'll report directly to the VP of PLG and partner closely with our existing lifecycle marketing lead. You'll take ownership of assigned products, audiences, and lifecycle stages, with real input into shaping the approach for what you own, not just shipping someone else's plan, and you'll help turn a fast-growing list of priorities into a structured, scalable lifecycle engine.
WHAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Lifecycle Fluency: You think in full user journeys, not campaigns. You've done lifecycle marketing specifically, not just growth or demand gen, and you know how nurture, activation, retention, and renewal connect across a product's full lifecycle.
- Builder's Mindset: You'd rather own a program end to end, strategy, build, QA, and send, than hand pieces of it off. You bring structure to ambiguity: turning a fast-growing list of priorities into themes, a build queue, and a sequenced roadmap.
- Audience & Signal Validation: You know how to validate an audience and its underlying signal before it ships: spot-checking record-level data, sanity-checking targeting logic, and catching a bad segment before it reaches users. You don't need to write SQL yourself, but you can work directly with data teams to confirm a list is right.
- Cross-Functional Operator: You operate well across marketing, sales (BDR and renewals), data, and design/agency partners, and you know how to keep programs moving even when you don't own every dependency.
- Marketing Automation Execution: You've personally built campaigns in Marketo or an equivalent platform, not just briefed them: audience builds, suppressions and contact governance, pre-send QA and live proofs, and launch monitoring, including troubleshooting a broken data sync in the moment.
- Technical Translation: You can take a technical product or a raw usage signal, a feature adoption event, a usage threshold, a new capability, and turn it into messaging that reads credible to a developer or admin, not generic marketing copy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build the Lifecycle Engine: Own and build lifecycle campaigns (email and in-product messaging) across Docker's Container and AI Platform products, including Sandboxes and AI Governance, for both end users and admins.
- Scale Programmatic Sends: Design and run large-scale programmatic sends, such as recurring account health checks, to a base in the tens of millions, working within the team's marketing automation stack (currently Marketo and Mailgun; expect a platform transition in the next 6–12 months).
- Automate Lead and Renewal Motions: Stand up and run automated first-touch flows for PQLs and inbound leads, in partnership with BDR and renewals stakeholders.
- Validate Audiences & Signals: Partner with data and growth engineering to pull the usage signals campaigns depend on (Snowflake and internal data tools), and validate that an audience and its underlying signal are correct before every send.
- Manage Suppressions & Contact Governance: Own suppression lists and contact governance rules so campaigns stay compliant and don't over-message or reach the wrong audience.
- QA, Launch Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Run pre-send QA and live proofs on every campaign, monitor launches as they go out, and troubleshoot issues in real time, including broken data syncs.
- Translate Signals into Messaging: Turn technical product usage and adoption signals into messaging that reads credible and useful to developers and admins, not generic marketing copy.
- Shape and Sequence Strategy: Take a fast-growing list of priorities and turn it into a concrete build queue: itemize the work, sequence it, and flag capacity or dependency issues early.
- Coordinate Design & Agency Partners: Work with design and agency partners to keep campaign quality and turnaround on track.
- Operationalize Reporting: Own naming, tracking, and reporting on programs so the rest of the team has visibility into what's live, what's next, and what it's driving.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Lifecycle Marketing Experience: A background specifically in lifecycle marketing, not pure growth or demand gen, ideally inside a PLG or self-serve motion.
- Proven Program Ownership: A track record of owning campaigns end to end (strategy, build, QA, send) and shipping programs that moved a real metric: activation, retention, or renewal conversion.
- Marketing Automation Build Experience: Hands-on build experience in Marketo or an equivalent marketing automation platform: audience builds, program/campaign setup, suppressions and contact governance, pre-send QA and live proofs, and launch monitoring.
- Data & Targeting Validation: Comfortable working directly with data teams to validate record-level data and targeting logic, for example auditing who's actually in a segment or spot-checking a list against expectations. Writing SQL yourself is a plus, not a requirement.
- Technical-to-Message Translation: A track record of turning a technical product or a raw usage signal into messaging that reads credible to a developer or admin audience, not generic marketing copy.
- Technical Familiarity: Comfort navigating developer ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, or complex multi-product software platforms.
- Independent Ownership: Senior-level judgment and ownership as an individual contributor: you can run with ambiguity and drive a program without every step spelled out, and you collaborate well with another senior peer on the team.
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- Immerse & Align: Get up to speed on Docker's PLG motion, product surface area (Container and AI), and the programs lifecycle already owns. Build a working relationship with data, BDR, renewals, and design/agency partners.
- Program & Tooling Audit: Audit the current state of user and admin nurtures, renewal automation, and PQL/lead outreach, and get familiar with the Marketo/Mailgun stack and its upcoming transition.
- Roadmap Calibration: Work with the lifecycle team to turn the current priority list into themes, a build queue, and a sequenced roadmap.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Ship Owned Campaigns: Take ownership of at least one full program, such as an admin nurture flow or a PQL first-touch sequence, from build through send.
- Contribute to Renewal Automation: Stand up a first version of automated renewal outreach in partnership with the renewals team.
- Build the Reporting Cadence: Put in place naming, tracking, and reporting so the team has clear visibility into what's live and what it's driving.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK
- Own a Mature Program Set: Own a mature, scaled set of lifecycle programs across your assigned products, audiences, and lifecycle stages.
- Prove Impact: Show measurable lift in activation, retention, or renewal conversion tied directly to your programs.
- Scale the Function: Help lifecycle marketing operate as a predictable, automated engine rather than a set of one-off campaigns, as scope keeps expanding across the Platform.
Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Compensation & Equity
Canada: CA$160,300– CA$229,000 + equity
United States: $115,500 – $165,000 + equity
______________________________________________________________________
POSTING INFORMATION
- Open vacancy: This posting is for an existing open role.
- AI in hiring: Docker may use AI-assisted tools during our recruiting process.
- Interview recordings: Candidates will be invited to opt in to interview recordings to support interviewer calibration and consistent evaluations. Recordings are optional and require explicit consent.

An overview of this role
We are hiring a Staff Product Security Architect to join our Security Platforms and Architecture organization at GitLab.
Rather than operating as a purely consultative body, Security Architecture at GitLab functions as a hands-on technical driver. Our mission is to embed proactive guidance directly into modern developer workflows and automated coding environments, embedding security standards into the software development process from the outset. We strive to enable teams to deliver secure, resilient software seamlessly while minimizing reliance on manual security gates.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product engineering organizations, spearhead architectural strategy for critical capabilities, and serve as the primary Security Owner driving risk reduction for key entries within our risk management framework. Your daily work will span architectural design reviews, technical prototyping, and establishing scalable patterns that enable engineering teams to execute autonomously.
What you’ll do
Partner with engineering and product leadership across GitLab, developing enough context in their domains to anticipate security problems rather than react to them
Lead security architecture and design work for strategic initiatives, and provide direction to the cross-functional teams delivering them
Identify, assess, and prioritise systemic security risks, and act as Security Owner for high-priority items in the Product Security Risk Register, co-executing remediation with the teams who own the code
Codify recurring security decisions into reusable artifacts — guardrails, standards, design patterns, skills, and reference threat models — delivered into developer and AI coding tool workflows
Build proofs of concept and prototypes to unblock engineering teams and shorten the distance between a security requirement and a working implementation
Conduct security architecture reviews for large or strategic projects, and coordinate with Application Security so that review coverage is comprehensive and correctly prioritised
Threat model new and existing systems, and establish the patterns that let teams threat model their own work
Work with Security Research on proactive exploration of unknown risks in GitLab's architecture
Anticipate emerging security challenges and propose architectural responses before they reach implementation
Mentor security engineers across the division, and represent security architecture to engineering audiences
What you’ll bring
Depth in application security architecture, including authentication and authorization models, privilege escalation, multi-tenant isolation, and trust boundary analysis
Experience securing distributed systems, including service-to-service authentication, secrets handling, and the failure modes of security decisions made across process boundaries
Working knowledge of software supply chain security: build and release integrity, artifact provenance, and dependency risk
A track record of proactive architecture work — identifying risk before it becomes an incident, and designing something that prevents a class of problem rather than an instance of one
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with engineering leadership and influence technical direction through expertise rather than gatekeeping
Experience defining security standards or patterns that teams adopted without being compelled to
The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on, including reading unfamiliar code, building prototypes, and contributing changes
Clear written communication, and the ability to make a security argument to an engineering audience that does not already agree with it
A view on how security guidance should be authored and delivered for AI coding tools, not only for humans
About the team

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⚡ THE INBOUND SALES 🇫🇷 ROLE
We're growing our Inbound Sales team in France.
Our Inbound Sales team is in charge of closing inbound requests from leads with 1 to 5 employees (Independent workers, very small companies, individuals).

This method stems from the concept that the prospect experience is an inseparable piece of the overall Alan customer experience. You are expected to make this experience pleasant, instructive and delightful by leveraging the most relevant messaging and materials (Smart) and by defining the high-touch strategy that suits best each prospect (Soft).
We also expect you to look at the big picture and help us grow and improve as a company. For that, you’ll have to be real team players even beyond your role. You’ll be expected to challenge us to improve our product(s), our methods, and our strategy, and get involved in other projects and initiatives relevant to growing our customer base.
What does make this role exciting :
- You will close deals every single day of the year, which is very stimulating!

- You will contribute to making our products even better by sharing feedback and improving the self-serve experience for our members
- You will become an insurance expert and learn to master our products in order to confidently answer questions & objections from prospects
- We invest heavily in AI to transform the Sales practice. You'll have the opportunity to become one of the most modern Sales professionals in the market!

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the Team
At Deliveroo we’re striving to build London’s best and most admired Security Engineering organisation as part of our global team based across North America and Europe.
Our London based Security Engineering team is looking for a
Senior GRC Engineer.
You will be a part of our inclusive, collaborative global team responsible.
This is a London based position reporting directly to the Security Compliance Manager based in London.
About the Role
We're hiring a
Senior GRC Engineer
to help take DoorDash's compliance program from something people run to something the platform runs on its own. You'll take primary ownership of how regulatory and framework change gets tracked, interpreted, and turned into real controls - one part of a broader GRC function that spans audit, policy, and risk. Day to day, that means less time updating spreadsheets and more time writing the automation, integrations, and control logic that let audit evidence collect itself.
You'll also lead major external audits from start to finish and help shape the policies and control standards the rest of the program is built on.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already has deep audit and assurance experience, wants to spend more time building than briefing and can move a program forward, and change how people work, without needing the title to make it happen.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Build the regulatory and framework change-management process that keeps DoorDash ahead of new obligations, instead of reacting to them.
Move manual, point-in-time compliance work onto Compliance-as-Code foundations: policy-as-code, automated control testing, and continuous evidence collection wired into CI/CD, so audit readiness holds up between audits, not just during them.
Design and run agentic workflows for evidence analysis, control testing, and audit response preparation, with a human in the loop where assurance demands it.
Partner directly with engineering and architecture teams to design controls into new systems at build time and translate that technical work into the narratives auditors actually need.
Partner with the Security Compliance Manager to shape and mature the global compliance program.
Design, implement and validate security controls relevant to DoorDash’s regulatory environment, not just document them.
Support development and refinement of security policies, standards, and guidance.
Mentor other members of the compliance team and help set the technical bar the rest of the function grows into.
Ensure policies are actionable, testable, and aligned to real-world controls.
We’re excited about you because you have…
6+ years of experience in security compliance, GRC or technology risk, with a strong track record in high-growth, technology-driven and regulated environments.
Hands-on experience building large language models and agent workflows with daily use of AI in your own work, grounded judgment on what to delegate to agents versus what needs a human, and the ability to evidence both to an auditor. DoorDash is an AI-forward organization and the ability to optimize efficiency using AI is crucial in this role.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with frameworks such as DORA, the EU AI Act, NIS2 and CRA.
Real, hands-on experience implementing and assessing controls against frameworks like PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001 - not just reading them.
Demonstrated ability to identify control gaps, assess risk and drive remediation in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience developing, implementing and improving security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are operational and effective.
Strong understanding of compliance metrics and reporting, with the ability to track control effectiveness, audit outcomes, and risk exposure.
Ability to influence and drive accountability across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex audit and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
Comfort owning compliance metrics and reporting - you can show, not just assert, that a program is working.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

🤖 THE OFFER AREA
We’re the engine that decides what Alan sells, at what price, and on what terms.
Every Alan member, from a 3-person startup to a public administration body with 200K+ collaborators is covered by an offer that our area designed, priced, contracted and renews every year.
We own the whole offer lifecycle for several kind of services (health insurance, life & disability insurance, employee benefits) across 4 countries. We manage an incredible business complexity and diversity in a scalable way, and most importantly, we empower others to act autonomously on it:
- Offer creation: Enabling Sales to build compliant and relevant offers themselves in minutes, with a real-time pricer and AI assistance, without waiting days for an actuary.
- Contract Lifecycle: Not only signing a contract in one go and writing the settings that become the source of truth for the rest of Alan, but also providing Business Ops with the tools they need to pilot over the years a portfolio of 100K+ contracts
- Enabling growth: We’re at the root of Alan’s Insurance stack. Our technical decisions have a long reach: Claims, Billing and many other teams depends on us. We are key to lift blockers and enable the opening of new segments or markets.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL BUILD AND WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
- 🌍 One insurance stack for every country. We're replacing country-by-country code with a shared "Core Stack": one set of shared rules, with room for local differences. Spain already runs on it, and we’re now tackling France. The architecture decisions you make will shape how Alan sells insurance for the next 10 years. (How we made our offer builder global https://medium.com/alan/how-we-refactored-one-of-our-most-used-data-models-33cadaf31313)
- 🤖 AI-native underwriting. Insurance is complex, and most insurers need actuaries on every quote. We empower our Sales to build compliant and relevant offers themselves in minutes. AI-assisted smart alternatives, price explanations, pitching and more are already in the Sales hands, and there’s much more to build.
- 🛡️ Life & Disability as a first-class product: We’re bringing this historically smaller product at Alan to the same level of maturity as Health, with first class member XP, Ops and enabling access to a much wider population.
- 🧑🚀 A growing team. You'll hire it, shape it, and decide what it works on. Talent density, onboarding, feedback, and the mix of skills the area needs are yours to own.
- 🛡️ Technical direction and operational excellence. Architecture calls, quality standards and shaping the organization and incident response as we scale to more countries. And you stay hands-on: at Alan, engineering leaders are expected to build.
⚡ WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL
- Dual impact: Shape both technical excellence and team growth, engineers become better while building better products
- Leadership growth: Influence engineering culture, mentor future leaders, and drive technical strategy that shapes the future of healthcare delivery
- Your users sit next to you: Hundred of Alaners use what your team ships every day. The feedback loop between building and impact is very short, which allows you to iterate and move quickly.
- Complex domain, simple software: Regulated domain, many countries, many segments… The job is to model a messy real world into a stack that stays simple and easy to extend.
- Direct business impact. We own pricing, contract lifecycle and Sales tooling. We have a direct impact on Alan’s margin and growth.
🔍 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an engineering leader who gets excited about building state-of-the-art AI systems and applying them to real-world, high-stakes problems in healthcare.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years leading engineering teams, with a track record of building high performers.
- You partner with other product functions as a true equal: you shape the roadmap, name trade-offs honestly, and help the team commit to what it can actually deliver.
TECHNICAL FOUNDATIONS
- Experience establishing engineering excellence standards, with the ability to guide architectural decisions.
- First-hand experience shipping AI or LLM products to production is a big plus.
- You're excited and eager to keep writing code. You still review it, and you still ship some yourself.

ABOUT THE JOB
We're looking for an experienced Global Mobility Lead to build and run the programs that help employees join, move, and work across borders. You will own our mobility policies, immigration casework, and vendor relationships, and partner with Legal, Finance, and People Ops to make cross-border moves clear, compliant, and well supported.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
GLOBAL MOBILITY
- Own the mobility policy suite end to end: relocation, permanent transfers, short-term and long-term international assignments, remote/cross-border work arrangements, and business travel thresholds.
- Run individual mobility cases from scoping to landing: package design, cost estimates, immigration sequencing, tax and social-security implications, payroll setup, relocation logistics, and post-arrival support.
- Manage employment-based immigration casework in partnership with outside counsel: H-1B (including cap-subject and change-of-employer/AC21 timing), L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, F-1 OPT/CPT, and employer-sponsored permanent residence. Own the internal timeline, the start-date reality check, and the manager/candidate communication.
- Own daily immigration intake and case execution, including employer questionnaires, supporting documents, employment verification letters, signatures, counsel follow ups, and case closure.
- Own right-to-work compliance across jurisdictions: I-9 and E-Verify in the US, Home Office share-code checks in the UK, and equivalent checks in our EU and other markets.
- Decide and document the entity/employment model for each new market (direct entity, EOR, or non-resident payroll registration) with Finance and Legal.
- Own our mobility vendor stack (immigration counsel, relocation, tax, EOR/global payroll): scope, SLAs, cost, and performance.
- Model and track mobility cost, including sponsorship and premium-processing fees, so leadership can make go/no-go calls with real numbers, and obtain and document required approvals before committing sponsorship or spend
DATA AND SYSTEMS
- Build the tracking layer: mobility case pipeline, immigration deadlines and expirations, compensation comparisons, etc.
- Stand up mobility dashboards: case volume, cycle time, cost per move, band penetration, offer-to-band variance, and equity-gap trend.
- Write the employee-facing documentation so moves and pay decisions are predictable and explainable, not one-off negotiations.
What we’re looking for
REQUIRED
- 6+ years of experience in global mobility, with real ownership of cross-border moves and immigration casework, not just vendor hand-offs.
- Working fluency in US employment-based immigration and at least one other major jurisdiction’s work-authorization regime (UK, EU, or Canada).
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable in spreadsheets and HRIS reporting, able to build a defensible model and explain the assumptions behind it.
- Judgment about risk. You know when to escalate to Legal, when to flag classification or permanent-establishment exposure, and how to say no clearly.
- Excellent written communication: you’ll draft policies, verification letters, offer rationales, and executive-facing recommendations.
- Comfort with ambiguity, high volume, and shifting priorities.

You will work closely with PSIRT engineers, Vulnerability Management, Security Engineering, Legal, Customer Success, Support, and Communications. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career security prfessional who is curious, organized, detail-oriented, and excited to build expertise in product security response.
This role is open to candidates across North America, though we encourage applications from those based on the West Coast US or West Coast Canada (British Columbia) as the team is looking to expand coverage in the Pacific Time Zone.
What you’ll do
Triage incoming bug bounty reports, including reviewing report quality, validating findings, assessing potential impact, identifying duplicates, and routing reports to the appropriate teams.
Triage vulnerabilities identified through vulnerability management activities and help track them through assessment, remediation, and closure.
Work with PSIRT engineers and development teams to gather technical details, reproduce issues, and clarify affected products, versions, and configurations.
Support severity assessment using frameworks and terminology such as CVE, CVSS, CWE, and OWASP.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with security researchers participating in coordinated vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty programs.
Support GitLab’s role as a CVE Numbering Authority by preparing information for CVE assignment, maintaining accurate records, and helping coordinate CVE-related activities.
Represent GitLab as an acting CNA representative in CVE-related discussions and operations, escalating questions and coordinating with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
Draft and coordinate customer-facing communications about security vulnerabilities, fixes, mitigations, and release information in partnership with PSIRT, Legal, Customer Success, Support, and Corporate Communications.
Maintain accurate issue records, timelines, researcher communications, remediation status, and follow-up actions.
Monitor queues and operational metrics to identify trends, aging items, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve response quality and consistency.
Create and improve runbooks, procedures, templates, and other documentation that make vulnerability handling more efficient and transparent.
Participate in incident handoffs, root cause analysis documentation, lessons-learned activities, and product security reviews.
Build technical and operational expertise in PSIRT, bug bounty, vulnerability management, and coordinated vulnerability disclosure.
What you’ll bring
Early-career experience or equivalent education in cybersecurity, software engineering, information technology, or a related field. Relevant internships, coursework, labs, research, customer support, or practical security projects are welcome.
Foundational understanding of software vulnerabilities and security concepts, including web applications, APIs, CI/CD environments, authentication, and authorization.
Familiarity with security terminology such as CVE, CVSS, CWE, OWASP Top 10, and coordinated vulnerability disclosure.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple reports or work items.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with a bug bounty or vulnerability disclosure platform such as HackerOne or Bugcrowd.
Experience reviewing security reports, participating in capture-the-flag exercises, performing vulnerability research, or working with security tooling.
Familiarity with CVE assignment, CNA processes, security advisories, or vulnerability databases.
Nice to have: Basic scripting, log analysis, issue tracking, or data analysis experience; experience writing technical documentation, customer communications, support responses, or operational procedures.
