AI Product Builder
Improvado
is an AI-powered, unified platform designed for marketing teams in medium to large-scale enterprises and agencies, who are looking to automate complex marketing intelligence and reporting to make decisions with ease. Improvado gathers, organizes, and untangles marketing data to deliver instant insights through BI and AI, helping to eliminate complexity, delivering laser-focused insights to optimize budgets, enhance campaign efficiency and marketing ROI.
About the role
As an AI Product Builder you own one product area end to end. Which area depends on where we need you most, and the work is the same in all of them. Our products turn marketing data into decisions, and each of them has the same failure mode: it tells the customer something and stops there. Your job is to find where your area stops short of causing a decision, build the part that closes that gap, and show that somebody acted. You will build hands-on with AI, shape the roadmap, work directly with engineering teams and with customers, and decide what a good recommendation looks like for a different persona on the same data - a media buyer, an analyst and a CMO do not want the same thing.
Responsibilities
Own the product area end to end, from idea to delivery, and define how the roadmap evolves
Close the gap between what the product reports and what the customer does about it: decide what gets recommended and to whom, and build the loop that makes those recommendations better over time
Work hands-on with AI, from mockups and prototypes through to production code for smaller features, alongside an engineering team of three to ten people
Run customer discovery yourself and turn it into roadmap decisions
Define and measure the metrics that prove the product caused someone to act
Build and maintain automated workflows using AI tools, scripting and the modern data stack
Collaborate with Product, BI and CSM teams on architecture decisions and customer data requirements
Qualifications
Product ownership experience
- able to take a problem end to end with minimal hand-holding, and point at things you built that are still in use

About Improvado
Improvado is an AI-powered marketing data platform built for mid-market and enterprise teams. We help companies automate complex marketing data workflows, unify data at scale, and surface insights through BI and AI. Brands like Genentech, T-Mobile, Activision, and H&R Block rely on us to simplify analytics and improve marketing performance.
We’re a fast-growing Series A startup backed by $34M in funding and driven by a team that moves fast, stays curious, and cares about high-quality execution.
About the Role
Improvado is hiring a Go-to-Market Engineer to build and run the engine that generates sales pipeline, then step into deals to help close them. You report directly to the VP of Sales.
You’ll build agentic go-to-market loops with the Improvado platform at their core, first for our own sales motion, then for our customers. Our GTM is the lab for what we sell, and you run it.
This is a team-of-one role with no SDR layer behind you. That means real ownership: you own outbound cadences, the data and tooling stack, and event follow-up. You work directly with the VP of Sales to design and run go-to-market experiments, on Improvado wherever possible, and you work alongside the demand generation team so outbound and advertising hit the same accounts and people. You identify which current customers to expand and with which products. And you are forward deployed: embedded with prospects and customers, building working use cases in their environment, and packaging the experiments that worked in-house into outcome-based projects Improvado sells.
It is a hybrid of growth operator, forward deployed builder, and revenue strategist. Most people come to this role strong in one or two of those areas, and we expect you to grow into the rest. If you have done two and are hungry for the third, keep reading.
Why you might love this job
Direct line to the VP of Sales: you design experiments together and see the results fast.
Your work moves pipeline every week, and nothing disappears into a process.
You build real, working things on a real platform, for us and for customers.
A clear path: become an Improvado expert who builds agentic GTM systems and delivers them to customers.
What You’ll Do
Outbound pipeline generation
Design, build, and run multi-channel outbound cadences (email, LinkedIn, phone) targeting enterprise marketing and data leaders and agency executives (agencies manage data for many brands at once, so one agency win can open several accounts)
Write and continuously test messaging, subject lines, and personalization at scale, including AI-assisted personalization
Own deliverability, sending infrastructure, and domain health
Sales and marketing alignment
Work with the demand generation team so outbound and advertising target the same accounts, personas, and buying committees, with one shared target account list
Build the operating rhythm between sales and marketing: shared definitions, a common view of account engagement, and a feedback loop from deals back into campaigns
Partner with marketing on content and offers; own the sourced-pipeline number on the outbound side
Go-to-market experimentation with the VP of Sales
Design and run go-to-market experiments with the VP of Sales: messaging by buyer persona, channels, offers, signals, and workflows, each with a hypothesis, a measurement, and a scale-or-kill decision
Run them on Improvado wherever possible, so our own go-to-market is the lab for what we sell
Maintain a messaging playbook per persona that outbound, advertising, and account executives all draw from, and share results with marketing on a regular cadence
Customer expansion
Analyze the customer base to identify which accounts we should be upselling and which Improvado products fit each
Build expansion plays with Customer Success and account executives, and run the outbound layer of those plays
Tooling and data
Own the go-to-market tech stack: sequencing, enrichment, intent data, CRM hygiene, and the integrations between them
Build and maintain target account lists and contact data with enrichment waterfalls and signal-based triggers
Automate the repetitive parts of prospecting so one person operates like a team
Event follow-up
Run pre-event targeting and outreach for conferences and field events
Convert attendees, booth visitors, and scanned leads into qualified meetings within days, not weeks
Forward deployed with prospects and customers
Learn the Improvado platform deeply: connectors, data models, the AI agent, and dashboards
Embed with prospects and customers on active opportunities and expansions to build working go-to-market and marketing-data use cases in their environment. Ship something they use, not a demo
Carry what you learn in customer environments back into our own experiments, outbound targeting, and messaging
Package and sell what works
Turn successful in-house experiments into packaged, outcome-based projects that Improvado sells to customers: the outcome, the data required, the build, and the delivery path
Help account executives position and scope those projects as part of the Improvado offer, and deliver the first ones yourself
Measurement
Track pipeline sourced and influenced by channel, cost per qualified meeting, and conversion through each stage
Share a short daily update with the VP of Sales (a quick async summary of numbers and learnings, not a long report) and stop what isn’t working quickly
Who You Are
4 or more years in a pipeline-generating or growth role at a B2B SaaS company: outbound, demand generation, growth, revenue operations, or forward deployed / implementation work, ideally more than one of these
You have personally built outbound cadences that booked meetings with enterprise buyers, and you can show the numbers
You have designed and run structured go-to-market experiments with a clear hypothesis and measurement, and you can tell the story of one that worked and one you killed
You have taken something that worked internally and turned it into something a customer paid for
You have worked across the sales and marketing boundary and know what it takes to get both teams targeting the same accounts
Technical enough to work with APIs, webhooks, SQL, and data pipelines, and to build on a data platform inside a customer’s environment
Fluent with AI tools for research, personalization, and automation, and interested in building agents, not just using them
Comfortable being a team of one: you set your own priorities, build your own systems, and do not wait for an SDR or an ops team
Strong writer. Your emails get replies
Curious about marketing data and analytics: you want to understand how a CMO measures performance, not just who to email (we’ll teach you the platform; the curiosity has to be yours)
Nice to have
Experience selling or marketing to agencies or enterprise marketing teams
Background in marketing analytics, ETL, data warehousing, or business intelligence
Forward-deployed, implementation, or professional services experience at a data or AI company
Experience with customer expansion or account-based programs
Hands-on experience building AI agents or automated workflows with LLMs
Experience running pre- and post-event programs for conferences
Early-stage startup experience, Series A to C
Don’t tick every box? Apply anyway. This role combines skills that rarely sit in one person, so we are looking for strong overlap, not a perfect match.
What We Offer
Compensation: OTE $156,000 – $216,000 USD per year.
Final offer depends on experience and skills.
Remote-first environment
Medical and dental benefits
401(k) plan
Unlimited PTO
Paid holidays
Professional development reimbursement

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About the role
The Principal of Marketing Insights sits at the intersection of growth strategy, investment planning, and performance analytics. You’ll partner with the office of CMO, marketing leadership, and cross-functional analytics teams to determine where we invest, how we improve performance, and what it will take to achieve our growth targets. You’ll translate business goals and performance insights into clear priorities, resource decisions, and coordinated action across Marketing. This includes shaping pipeline strategy, evaluating investment tradeoffs, and identifying opportunities to improve conversion, velocity, and efficiency across regions, segments, and growth motions. This is a high-visibility leadership role during a period of significant organizational change. We’re looking for someone who brings structure to ambiguity, challenges assumptions with sound business judgment, and drives decisions through to measurable results. You’ll work closely with marketing leaders, Finance, GTM Operations, Technical Marketing Ops, and Central Analytics to connect strategy, investment, and execution.
What you’ll do
Growth strategy & planning: Translate company growth targets into marketing plans with clear priorities, investment requirements, and performance assumptions. Lead the analytical foundation for annual and quarterly planning, developing scenarios that evaluate growth opportunities, resource needs, and tradeoffs. Own marketing’s pipeline planning models and assumptions, coordinating inputs across regions, segments, channels, and motions. Identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve pipeline generation, conversion, and velocity; partner with functional leaders to turn those opportunities into action.
Investment strategy & efficiency: Shape recommendations for allocating resources across programs, channels, regions, and segments based on expected business impact. Evaluate tradeoffs between headcount and program investment, partnering with Finance and marketing leaders to improve resource productivity. Identify where to scale, reduce, or reallocate spend, and measure whether those decisions improve pipeline yield and marketing efficiency. Develop models that connect marketing investment to pipeline and revenue outcomes, making assumptions and uncertainties clear.
Program management & accountability: Lead weekly and monthly marketing performance reviews, focusing leadership on the decisions and actions needed to achieve targets. Proactively identify performance risks, diagnose root causes, and align leaders on corrective actions, owners, and timelines. Track actions and assess their impact, adjusting the approach when results fall short. Lead cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, XDR, Sales, Finance, and Analytics, resolving dependencies and escalating decisions when needed.
Insights & measurement: Set the strategic analysis agenda around the business questions most consequential to marketing growth and efficiency. Define the metrics, scorecards, and decision tools marketing leaders need to manage performance. Partner with Analytics to deliver scalable reporting and with Marketing Ops to ensure consistent definitions, reliable tracking, and data quality. Translate complex analysis into clear executive narratives that explain what is happening, why it matters, and what action to take.
Skills we’re looking for
8+ years experience in marketing strategy, GTM analytics, or business performance within B2B SaaS, with scope and impact consistent with director-level leadership.
A demonstrated record of influencing investment decisions and delivering measurable improvements in pipeline, conversion, or marketing efficiency.
Experience developing growth plans, pipeline models, investment scenarios, and performance assumptions.
Strong business judgment and a clear point of view, with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively and build alignment around difficult tradeoffs.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive recommendations through to execution and results.
Ability to independently structure ambiguous problems and balance speed with analytical rigor.
Deep understanding of B2B SaaS metrics, including pipeline, ARR, conversion, velocity, acquisition costs, and attribution.
Hands-on fluency with SQL and BI tools such as Looker, enabling independent investigation and effective partnership with Analytics.
Working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo.
Clear executive communication, with the ability to connect detailed analysis to business decisions.
Bonus Skills
Experience navigating a merger, organizational integration, or significant GTM transformation.
Experience with experiment design, incrementality measurement, predictive modeling, or cohort analysis.
Familiarity with the modern data stack, including Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, and Looker.
Background in data infrastructure, developer tools, or analytics software.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Runway is building AI to simulate the world. We think world models, not language models alone, are the path to general-purpose simulation: systems that experience the world, learn from their mistakes, and change how stories get told, how science gets done, and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Applied AI is where that research meets a customer with a deadline. Every one of the world's largest studios, brands, and platforms hits a moment where Runway stops being a demo and becomes the way they actually make things. Our team exists for that moment, and we organize around one question: what's blocking this customer from production, and how do we remove it?
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a role for people who want to own a problem, not an account. You'll sit with the biggest studios, brands, and Fortune 100 companies in the world, figure out what's actually standing between them and production, and build whatever removes it. Some weeks that's a workflow. Some weeks it's a plugin or an integration nobody has written yet. Some weeks it's getting a room of executives to make a decision they've been putting off.
Your work will be on screen: Emmy-winning shows, Oscar-winning films, Super Bowl commercials, the stuff people actually watch. And the things you build for one customer tend to become product for all of them. Our team's first Shopify plugin started as a customer blocker and was in engineering's hands within a few weeks. We treat this team as R&D for that reason, not as a cost center.
We have offices in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, and London.
NO TWO WEEKS ARE THE SAME, BUT YOU CAN EXPECT TO:
- Find the real problem: sit with the creative, technical, and executive teams at a customer, map how they actually work, and locate the blocker between them and production. Usually it's one of three things: a missing integration, an unproven pipeline, or a stakeholder who isn't convinced yet.
- Build the first of its kind: the demo that shows a studio head or a Fortune 100 CMO something nobody has shown them before. Working proofs of concept on the customer's own brand, footage, or catalog, often built in a day or two before the meeting, and the best of them become product for everyone.
- Make it reusable: turn the one-off that unblocked one customer into the workflow, plugin, or integration the next ten customers start from.
- Run the evaluation: own evaluation plans end to end, guide managed trials, build tailored demos on the customer's own footage and brand, and carry the technical side of deal cycles with AEs.
- Scope deployments that land: 4–12 week engagements with customer-defined success criteria, a hands-on builder and an executive sponsor on their side from day one, and enough discipline to keep them on scope when the asks start piling up.
- Get customers to production fast: take new technical and non-technical customers from signed contract to first production call in days rather than quarters, grow API-only accounts into Platform + API, and fix the onboarding so the support tickets stop coming.
- Present to anyone: walk an analyst through a pipeline in the morning and a studio head through a production plan in the afternoon.
- Bring the field back to the product: embed with Product, Engineering, and Creative to turn what you saw at the customer into roadmap. Every repeat ask is a product requirement, not a patch.
- Measure what the customer measures: time to production, usage before and after a project, what they shipped because you were there. We track our own numbers in Salesforce and the warehouse; you'll own yours.
WHAT WE VALUE
- People who aren't satisfied with surface-level answers and will go into the data, the code, and the room to find the real one
- Low ego: the customer's outcome matters more than who gets the credit
- Comfort with open-ended problems in unstructured environments, and the instinct to create structure instead of waiting for it
- Builders who would rather prototype than debate, and who keep iterating with the customer until it actually works
- Adaptive and introspective: willing to learn, guide, lead, and follow
WHAT WE NEED
- You build things that run in production. Python or TypeScript, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines. Whether you write the code yourself or with coding agents, you can read it, debug it when it breaks, and explain line by line why it's built that way, including to a customer's engineering team. You've shipped something a customer actually ran: a workflow, an integration, a plugin, or an internal tool.
- You've deployed AI or ML systems and integrations inside complex organizations and can point to the outcome, not just the delivery
- You can hold a room of executives and a room of engineers, and translate between the two. Some of those rooms are at the customer, so expect some travel.
- Nice to have: data tooling (SQL, BigQuery, Retool), or experience in media, entertainment, or advertising production
