ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Director of Technology Partnerships to lead the teams responsible for growing Supabase through technology integrations and our marketplace ecosystem.
You’ll bring together two complementary motions: partnerships that embed Supabase into the products developers already use, and a marketplace that helps developers discover and connect complementary technologies to their Supabase projects. Your job is to turn both into durable sources of revenue, adoption, and customer value.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you’ll lead and develop the Integrations and Marketplace teams, set their commercial strategy, and work hands-on with our most important partners. A central part of the role is working closely with AI labs to build strategic relationships, develop integrations, and bring joint opportunities to market. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to take integrations from idea to launch—and grow their impact long after launch.
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where you’ll build relationships with leading AI, developer tools, and infrastructure companies. Supabase is remote-first, and you’ll work across a globally distributed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
LEAD THE TEAM AND STRATEGY
- Lead, coach, and develop the Integrations and Marketplace partnerships teams, including team leads and partner managers.
- Set a clear strategy for where Supabase invests across strategic technology partnerships, marketplace categories, and emerging ecosystem opportunities.
- Define team objectives, partner coverage, investment priorities, and operating cadence. Make thoughtful tradeoffs between high-touch strategic partnerships and scalable programs.
- Build a culture of ownership, commercial discipline, and strong cross-functional execution.
GROW REVENUE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIPS
- Drive revenue from technology integrations through partner-driven customer acquisition, product consumption, expansion, retention, co-sell opportunities, and commercial arrangements.
- Own the commercial performance of the technology partnerships and marketplace portfolio, including forecasting and reporting on progress, risks, and return on investment.
- Build and deepen relationships with AI labs, working closely with their product, engineering, business development, and executive teams to identify and execute high-impact partnership opportunities.
- Develop executive relationships with strategic partners across developer tools, cloud, and adjacent infrastructure.
- Lead or support negotiations for complex partnerships, including integration, referral, revenue-sharing, and joint go-to-market agreements.
- Help partner managers build joint business plans that connect partner priorities to measurable outcomes for Supabase and its customers.
LEAD THE MARKETPLACE TEAM
- Lead and develop the Marketplace team, setting its commercial and partner strategy and holding the team accountable for outcomes.
- Guide the team in identifying the capabilities developers need, recruiting the right partners, and helping those partners launch and grow.
- Set priorities and allocate resources across strategic, high-touch partners and scalable paths for emerging and self-serve partners.
- Ensure the team works effectively with Product and Engineering on integration quality, partner onboarding, discovery, activation, and the developer experience across product surfaces.
- Enable the team to work with Marketing and Sales to launch integrations, enable teams, and drive ongoing adoption—not just announcements.
OPERATE WITH RIGOR
- Establish clear measures for partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, integration adoption, revenue, consumption, retention, and marketplace performance.
- Work with Finance, Data, and Partner Operations to improve attribution, reporting, forecasting, and partner revenue processes.
- Represent the voice of partners and customers in product and go-to-market planning, while aligning stakeholders around shared priorities.
- Identify risks early, remove blockers, and communicate decisions and outcomes clearly to leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have significant experience in technology partnerships, business development, or ecosystem leadership at a developer tools, cloud, infrastructure, or SaaS company.
- Have led and developed partner-facing teams, including managers or senior individual contributors, and can balance strategic direction with hands-on execution.
- Have a track record of building partnerships that produced measurable revenue, product adoption, or customer growth.
- Have negotiated complex commercial agreements and understand partnership economics, including revenue share, referrals, and consumption-based models.
- Have worked closely with Product and Engineering to ship and grow technical integrations. You can engage credibly with technical teams, including those at AI labs, even if you aren’t the person writing the code.
- Know how to build relationships with executives while earning the trust of product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
- Use data to prioritize opportunities, assess partner performance, and make decisions when attribution is imperfect.
- Are comfortable building in an evolving environment, communicating in writing, and working asynchronously across time zones.
IT’S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE
- Built or scaled a developer marketplace, integration ecosystem, or partner platform.
- Worked with AI LLMs, AI app builders, databases, open-source products, or developer infrastructure.
- A background in software development, with an understanding of how developers build and integrate products.
- Experience growing both a small number of strategic partnerships and a broader, scalable partner program.
- A strong network in the San Francisco Bay Area technology ecosystem.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.

Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits

- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.

- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

This isn’t a traditional, highly structured reward role built purely around annual cycles. You’ll act as our stand-alone senior reward expert across the UK, with the opportunity to work on everything from executive compensation and RemCo projects to PE-style incentives and management incentive plans (MIPs), alongside ownership of our wider benefits and pensions agenda. This is both a strategic focussed and operational position, which requires you to be flexible and agile with your time management.

Owning our UK-wide benefits offering and managing our benefits broker relationship.
Managing and developing our reward and benefits platform, driving engagement and improving the employee experience.
Overseeing UK pensions and auto-enrolment compliance, working closely with providers and internal stakeholders.
Leading annual reward activities including salary reviews, benchmarking, bonuses and compensation planning.
Responding to evolving business needs and delivering reward solutions that balance commercial priorities with appropriate governance.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced senior Reward professional who is as comfortable discussing executive compensation with the C-suite as you are getting into the detail of benefits, pensions or a new reward project.
You’ll ideally bring:
Strong experience across reward, compensation and benefits.
Experience of executive compensation and incentive design.
Exposure to RemCo and senior executive stakeholders.
Experience within a privately owned, PE-backed, acquisitive or similarly entrepreneurial environment would be particularly valuable.
Experience managing UK benefits and external broker relationships.
Knowledge of UK pensions and auto-enrolment requirements.
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
The agility to move quickly between changing priorities without needing a highly structured environment around you.
There’s no team management with this position. Instead, it’s an opportunity to operate as a senior individual contributor with real visibility, influence and ownership.
If you’re a Reward leader who enjoys pace, variety and solving complex problems, we’d love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Circle’s Growth team owns three pillars: Billing (SaaS billing, experimentation, PLG and sales-led funnel infrastructure), Analytics (data visualization and architecture, ClickHouse, and LLM-powered analytics Q&A), and Member Growth (onboarding, activation, and removing the friction that keeps a business from growing).
We’re looking for a Lead Engineer to own Analytics and Member Growth. This is a hands-on role. You’ll write a lot of the code, make the hard technical calls, and lead a small team of tenured engineers. Most of your week goes to building and reviewing. The rest goes to running the team: 1:1s, planning, and helping people grow.
You’ll own two things. First, how digital business owners understand what’s happening in their business, including the analytics Circle AI uses to answer their questions. Second, how a new member goes from signing up to actually showing up. Millions of people join and use Circle every month, so small changes here have an outsized impact.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Leading, growing, and coaching a team of engineers across Analytics and Member Growth, while remaining hands-on — reviewing designs and PRs, and shipping code yourself daily.
- Owning the technical strategy and architecture for Circle's analytics stack: rich, interactive data visualizations, ClickHouse data infrastructure, and LLM-powered experiences that enable business owners to ask questions about their data in natural language.
- Owning the roadmap for Member Growth: onboarding flows, activation, and reducing the friction that stands between a new member and real engagement in a community.
- Partnering with product, design, data, and leadership to turn ambiguous problems into a cohesive, data-informed growth roadmap with measurable outcomes.
- Work AI-first. Use agents for planning, coding, review, and triage; stay critical of what they produce and help the team build shared tools that make all of us faster.
- Designing and overseeing A/B tests and experimentation to validate changes that improve activation, retention, and community health.
- Hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers, and running performance and career-growth processes for your team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Prior experience leading or managing engineering teams. You’ve led engineers on large initiatives. You set direction, reviewed their work, and helped them get better while staying one of the strongest builders on the team.
- A product mindset: you understand our customers deeply enough to question and shape requirements, not just implement them. You're comfortable making fast, independent decisions following SaaS/product best practices.
- 7+ years of experience shipping production software on complex web applications, including experience with Ruby on Rails, MySQL/PostgreSQL, ReactJS, and TypeScript.
- Strong track record in at least one of: data/analytics infrastructure (e.g., ClickHouse, data warehousing, BI), or growth/lifecycle product engineering (onboarding, activation, retention); exposure to both is a strong plus.
- Comfortable in highly collaborative environments, working closely with stakeholders across engineering, product, design, and go-to-market teams.
- Ability to operate well in ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces and translate findings into clear priorities for your team.
- Strong alignment with our values (find our values on our career page if you haven't read up on them yet).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent https://englishonline.britishcouncil.org/free-english-level-test-cefr-2/), as most collaboration at Circle happens asynchronously.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience shipping LLM-powered product features, such as natural-language data Q&A or AI agents.
- Familiarity with billing tools or payments infrastructure (Stripe).
- Experience working in a growth-oriented or PLG engineering organization.
