ABOUT US
Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we've built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. We're passionate about maintaining this and work on the bleeding edge of AI to do so. Out of necessity, our engine is built for extreme scale and powers over 1 billion queries every day across 150 languages and roughly 100 countries. It is used by some of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco. We're a passionate team who love solving problems and want to make our customers' and coworkers' lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they do best can lead to great things. Constructor is a U.S. based company that has been in the market since 2019. It was founded by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick who still lead the company today.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Experiments team at Constructor builds an experimentation platform: traffic allocation, exposure logging, metric computation, statistical analysis, and a UI for launching experiments and interpreting results. It’s used both internally and by customers running experiments on production traffic.
We’re scaling customer experimentation usage and investing in making experiments faster, more reliable, and easier to interpret. Unlike boxed experimentation tools, our platform has to support a wide range of customer integrations, traffic patterns, and industry constraints — which makes the engineering problems unusually real-world and high-leverage.
Team: 3 Software Engineers, 1 Data Analyst, an Engineering Manager, and a Product Manager.
THE ROLE
This is primarily a backend role (Python services + data-heavy systems). You’ll occasionally work in the Dash UI and contribute to Spark jobs, but those are not the main focus. We care about correctness, observability, and product usability more than complex infrastructure.
Tech: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Plotly Dash, PySpark/Databricks, AWS, CloudWatch, Sentry
(Spark work is ~5–10% — we don’t expect you to be a data engineer or own the data platform.)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build and maintain backend services for experiment assignment, logging, and report generation
- Improve scalability, performance, and reliability of experiment reporting pipelines
- Add product-facing features to the UI to help users launch experiments and interpret results
- Take technical ownership of projects: shape solutions, break down work, and drive execution with the team
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation (investigating occasional issues and answering internal questions)
You’ll collaborate closely with Search/Recommendations engineers, ML/DS partners, and customer-facing teams when needed. This role does not require frequent direct customer calls.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVE
- Strong experience building and owning production backend services in Python
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging user-facing systems
- Strong SQL skills and confidence working with data-heavy systems (metrics, logging, analytics)
- Ability to ship maintainable software (tests, code review, incremental delivery)
MINDSET
- You take ownership: you can turn ambiguous problems into an executable technical plan
- You care about building systems people trust and rely on
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience with experimentation systems, metrics platforms, or A/B testing workflows
- Experience with PySpark and/or Databricks
- We don’t expect you to already be an expert in experimentation methodology — but we do expect strong backend fundamentals and the ability to ramp up effectively in a data-heavy domain
LOCATION / TIME ZONES
- We’re a distributed team. Preferred time zones are UTC+1 to UTC+7, but we’re flexible
BENEFITS
- 🏝️ Unlimited vacation time - we strongly encourage all employees to take at least 3 weeks per year
- 🌎 Fully remote team - choose where you live
- 🛋️ Work from home stipend - we want you to have the resources you need to set up your home office
- 💻 Apple laptops provided for new employees
- 🧑🎓 Training and development budget - refreshed each year for every employee
- 👪 Maternity & Paternity leave for qualified employees
- 🧠 Work with smart people who will help you grow and make a meaningful impact
- 💵 Base salary: $80k–$110k USD, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and interview results
- 📈 Stock options - offered in addition to the base salary
- 🎉 Regular team offsites to connect and collaborate

Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel, Financial Partnerships & Regulatory
Department: Legal
Reports to: Head of Legal
Location: APAC
About Codex
Codex is building the infrastructure for stablecoin-based cross-border payments — moving money faster, cheaper, and more transparently than the legacy financial system. Backed by Circle, Coinbase, Dragonfly, Wintermute, and Cumberland, we're a small team solving hard problems at the intersection of crypto and global payments.
The Role
Codex's product offering and financial partnership network is expanding rapidly — new payment providers, banking partners, and liquidity providers globally. The legal work that underpins those relationships needs to move at the same pace as the business. This role exists to make that happen.
You'll own the legal workstream for financial partnerships end-to-end — reviewing and negotiating FP contracts, managing due diligence requests, and advising on the regulatory implications of new products, corridors, and partner structures. You'll work closely with the Head of Legal and report into the legal function, with tight day-to-day collaboration with the Financial Partnerships, Product and Compliance teams.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has done this work before and can operate with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities
Financial Partnership Contracts
- Review, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements with financial partners — payment providers, banking counterparties, liquidity providers, and PSPs
- Own the contract lifecycle end-to-end: preparing markups, tracking open issues, coordinating with counterparties, and driving to execution without losing momentum
- Maintain and update standard form FP agreements as the regulatory and commercial environment evolves
- Advise the Financial Partnerships and Sales teams on commercial terms, entity routing, and deal structuring across multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction arrangements
Financial Partner RFIs & Due Diligence
- Manage inbound legal and regulatory due diligence requests from financial partners — collating documentation, preparing regulatory status summaries, and coordinating with Compliance on AML/CFT-related queries
- Prepare and maintain legal memos, licensing summaries, and corporate documentation packages for partners requiring clarity on Codex's regulatory status and entity structure
- Ensure Codex's outbound KYB documentation to financial partners is accurate, current, and responsive
Product Regulatory Analysis
- Analyse the regulatory implications of new products, payment corridors, and client segments before they go live — identifying licensing requirements, restrictions, and structural considerations across relevant jurisdictions
- Advise Product and Engineering on the legal constraints that affect feature design, entity routing, and market entry sequencing
- Monitor regulatory developments across key jurisdictions (APAC, LATAM, EMEA) and brief the legal and business teams on material changes
What We're Looking For
- Qualified lawyer with 10+ years of experience, ideally combining a first-tier law firm foundation with in-house experience at a fintech payments company
- Deep expertise in financial partnership contracts and payments regulation — this is a domain specialist role, not a generalist one
- Comfortable operating autonomously: you can pick up a complex contract, identify the issues, and drive it to execution without needing significant direction
- Commercially aware — you understand that legal is an enabler of the business, not a gate, and you give advice accordingly
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the communication skills to translate complex legal positions into clear guidance for non-lawyers
- Based in APAC or a time zone that overlaps meaningfully with the team
Nice to Have
- Experience across multiple APAC and other regions and familiarity with the regulatory frameworks governing cross-border payments and digital assets in the region
- Exposure to stablecoin or digital asset regulation
- Prior experience as a solo or early legal hire at a fast-growing fintech

This role exists to uphold the highest standards for data used in training and evaluating AI models, while also improving the workflows and tools that enable efficient annotation. You will spend most of your time reviewing and auditing annotations against rubrics, with the remainder focused on building, maintaining, and troubleshooting internal tooling. Your collaboration with annotators, technical program managers, and engineers will help refine the guidelines and processes that shape how our data is produced.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Generate and validate high-quality data annotations based on guidelines and continuous feedback.
- Surface systemic issues, edge cases, and gaps in guidelines to annotation operations and technical stakeholders.
- Produce annotations yourself to model the quality bar expected of the team.
- Build and maintain internal tools and automation to streamline annotator workflows, such as dashboards, scripts, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot environment, tooling, and version control issues for annotators, liaising with IT and engineering as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine guidelines and processes for data production.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or 2 to 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, technical support, or tool development.
- Hands-on experience using code agents in your development workflow and a genuine interest in their evolution.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript), with the ability to read and reason about code across multiple languages.
- Ability to apply consistent judgment against a rubric and identify edge cases, ambiguities, or gaps in guidelines.
- Sustained focus and accuracy for detail-oriented, high-volume review work.
- Comfort working in a Unix-like terminal, including shell basics, package managers, environment setup, and version control workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot local development environment issues across common operating systems.
- Professional proficiency in English, with strong writing and comprehension skills.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. About the Role
We are a Las Vegas based game studio born on the Roblox platform and built by people who genuinely love this community. As a community-first studio, we care as much about our worlds and players as we do about the people building them. That mindset has helped us grow into one of the most innovative teams on Roblox, pushing boundaries, shaping culture, and setting new standards across the platform. With over 8B game visits, 44M monthly players, and a 19M member community, our worlds have become a core part of the Roblox ecosystem. We’re a ten-time winner of the Roblox Innovation Awards and recognized as builders of the future of the platform. From Creatures of Sonaria and Dragon Adventures to World // Zero and Horse Life, we create experiences that players live in, not just visit.
What we are looking for
We're looking for a passionate, data-driven Product Manager to join our game teams. In this role, you'll own the product vision and roadmap for your game, partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Art, Marketing, and Commerce to ship features that delight players and drive long-term growth. You'll sit at the intersection of player experience, game design, and live-ops, working within the unique constraints and opportunities of the Roblox platform, where your players are vocal, your community is enormous, and your updates ship in weeks, not quarters.
Responsibilities:
— Own and drive the product roadmap for your game, from ideation through launch and post-launch iteration.
— Analyze game metrics and player behavior to identify opportunities, diagnose problems, and measure the impact of shipped features.
— Stay close to your game's community to understand what players love, what frustrates them, and what they're asking for next.
— Collaborate with creative leadership to plan seasonal content, events, and monetization updates that resonate with your players.
— Partner with design, engineering, and art teams to translate product vision into well-scoped, executable work.
— Define and prioritize features based on player feedback, data, and strategic goals
— Write clear product specs and briefs that give your team everything they need to build with confidence.
— Run sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team focused and unblocked.
— Communicate progress, risks, and learnings to stakeholders clearly and proactively.
— Foster a culture of focus, momentum, and fun across your team.
Requirements:
— 1–3 years of experience as a Product Manager or Producer in gaming.
— Strong analytical mindset. You are comfortable working with data to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
— Experience owning a product roadmap end-to-end, including prioritization, scoping, and shipping.
— Familiarity with Roblox Studio. You don't need to write Lua, but you should be able to open a place in Roblox Studio, navigate a game hierarchy, understand how assets and scripts are organized, and speak credibly with developers about scope and feasibility.
— Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can write a crisp spec and present a clear recommendation to leadership.
— Experience with live service products and the cadence of ongoing updates, events, and seasonal content.
— Collaborative by nature. You work well across disciplines and know how to build trust with creative and technical partners.
— Comfortable using tools like Notion, Google Suite, Discord, or similar for roadmap management and documentation.
Location:
This is a remote-first role open to candidates anywhere in the world. Las Vegas-based team members work in-office Tuesday through Friday (Monday optional). If Vegas sounds fun, we offer relocation support for candidates interested in moving here. In-office perks include daily DoorDash credits to keep you fed, commuter credits to cover your ride in, and a monthly game stipend because we think playing games is part of the job. We are actively building a UK talent hub in anticipation of a dedicated UK office. Candidates across the UK are warmly encouraged to apply.
Spring Framework (Spring Boot 3+), Spring Data JPA, Spring Security + OAuth2 / JWT, Spring Cloud.
- Опыт написание многопоточных и асинхронных приложений.
- Опыт разработки web-сервисов, понимание протоколов REST.
- Опыт работы с ИИ инструментами.
- Опыт работы с БД (SQL PostgreSQL, noSQL).
- Опыт работы с Kubernetes (базовое понимание: pods, services, configmaps, ingress).
- Опыт работы с Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Опыт работы с Push-уведомлениями: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) для Android + APNs для iOS (через альтернативные библиотеки).
- Понимание принципов оффлайн-синхронизации (last write wins, conflict resolution, delta updates, sync versioning).

— Build and enhance testing, debugging, and monitoring tools to ensure public APIs' stability, reliability, and performance.
— Work with the dev-workflows team to enhance and improve the Branching experience, making it easier and more valuable for Supabase users.

— Good understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
— Proven ability to build scalable, maintainable APIs and develop tools for testing, debugging, and monitoring API performance.
— Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments to streamline API development, testing, and release processes.
What We Offer

We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
This role will focus on evaluating data science and coding tasks, requiring you to review and debug code, analyze model trajectories, and assess data visualization script development and logical flow implementation. Please note: This is a part-time independent contractor position available within Canada. We seek candidates who are able to commit to 16 hours per week minimum at a 40 CAD/hour contract rate. This role is BYOD 💻 - Bring Your Own Device (laptop). Remote work within Canada. 12 month contract.
As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will:
- Evaluate the model's ability to respond to coding requests, workflows, and code base-related questions using available tools.
- Assess agent trajectories and model capabilities for code generation, tabular and graphic manipulation, and debugging requests.
- Prompt models to complete complex data science tasks and review the accuracy of generated responses.
- Label, proofread, and improve machine-written and human-written software engineering-related outputs.
- Report quality and performance trends related to model/agent behaviour and project assignments.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Exceptional data analysis and visualization skills.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience working on real-world data science problems and pipelines.
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Python and industry-standard data science packages (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, sqlite, or others).

- Prior experience re-writing, proofreading, and delivering feedback on code.
- Familiarity with code agents (OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex) or evaluating agent trajectories is a plus.
The Candidate Journey:
- Initial Screening: Our Talent Team will review your application.
- First Assessment: If selected to move forward, you’ll receive a multiple-choice assessment by email.
- Second Assessment: Candidates who achieve a passing score will be contacted by a member of our team to complete a more comprehensive assessment focused on their area of expertise.
- Video Screen: If selected to move forward, you’ll have a short video call with a member of our Operations Team.
- Final: Selected candidates will receive an Independent Contractor Agreement.
As an independent contractor, you maintain control over how you complete your work and may work with multiple clients simultaneously. We request that you declare any external work relationships with Cohere’s direct competitors and always maintain the IP confidentiality of the Cohere project. Independent contractors are not eligible for health benefits or other benefits provided to employees. Compensation for services is provided to contractors by self-invoicing for services provided pursuant to the terms of our agreement with the contractor.
It is important to understand that, as an independent contractor, continuous work is not guaranteed. The client-contractor relationship is fundamentally project-based, meaning engagements may be temporary, periodic, or intermittent based on our organizational needs and project availability. As an independent contractor, you should anticipate fluctuations in workflow and, therefore, compensation for services when Cohere does not require as many hours of services in a week.
Prospective candidates, please be advised: this role involves working with human-generated and model-generated tasks that may involve exposure to not safe for work (NSFW) text content as part of data annotation tasks, including explicit, offensive, or other inappropriate material.
If the above qualifications do not perfectly align with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form, and we will work together to meet your needs.
