About us
Freedom Finance Europe Ltd is a regulated European online broker headquartered in Cyprus, providing access to US, European and Asian capital markets and a broad range of investment services and financial products. We operate in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment where product speed, client trust, marketing accuracy, regulatory discipline and legal architecture must work together. We are now strengthening our Legal Unit and looking for a senior legal leader to head one of its key expert departments.
About the role
The Head of Brokerage, Product & Commercial Legal Department will lead legal support of brokerage and commercial agreements, product launches, client-facing documentation, marketing materials, client complaints, GDPR/data and sanctions-related scenarios, MiFID-related matters, disclosures, prospectus-related work, and repeatable legal standards for the business.
This role is for a senior in-house lawyer who can combine financial services expertise, practical business judgement, leadership, speed of execution and the ability to build legal systems rather than only solve individual tasks
Responsibilities:
Working closely with the CLO - Lead, the legal support of the Company’s brokerage, product, commercial, client-facing, and marketing activities.
Own the department portfolio, priorities, workload allocation, quality control, escalation discipline and legal standards.
Act as the main escalation point for complex, high-risk, time-sensitive or strategically important matters within the department perimeter.
Provide senior legal assessment of new products, client journeys, sales channels, distribution models, marketing campaigns, client communications and commercial initiatives.
Translate MiFID II/MiFIR, CySEC requirements, applicable EU financial services rules, GDPR, sanctions, DORA and other relevant regulations into practical business requirements, red flags and execution routes.
Lead or supervise drafting, review and negotiation of brokerage, product and commercial agreements with clients, partners, counterparties, providers, data providers, banks, payment institutions, introducing brokers, sales channels, vendors and other third parties.
Own the legal quality and consistency of Terms of Business, disclosures, product terms, client forms, prospectus-related materials, website/platform wording, disclaimers and other client-facing documentation.
Set the legal review framework for marketing campaigns, claims, presentations, landing pages, sales materials and other regulated communications.
Lead legal strategy for complex client complaints, pre-dispute matters, reputationally sensitive cases, sanctions/restriction scenarios and asset-unblocking matters.
Build and maintain scalable legal tools: templates, playbooks, standard clauses, fallback positions, checklists, decision trees and escalation rules.
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Client Support, IT, Document Management, Legal Operations and senior management.
Manage, mentor and develop Senior and Mid Legal Counsels within the department.
Coordinate with external legal advisers where needed and ensure their advice is converted into practical internal
standards and actions.
Requirements
10-12+ years of relevant legal experience in a Cyprus or European Investment Firm, regulated broker, fintech company, payment institution, financial services group, or a law firm advising such clients.
Law degree. Common-law qualification/JD or civil-law equivalent with strong exposure to common-law drafting, international transactions and EU financial services regulation is preferred.
Proven experience leading legal teams or managing complex legal portfolios in a regulated financial services environment.
Strong expertise in brokerage, investment services, capital markets, product distribution, commercial agreements, client-facing documentation and regulated communications.
Strong knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR, CySEC requirements, applicable EU financial services regulation, GDPR, sanctions frameworks, DORA and related legal/regulatory requirements.
Experience supporting product launches, marketing and sales initiatives, client documentation, complaint handling and cross-functional business projects.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and legal advisory skills in English; fluent Russian or other languages will be a plus.
Ability to provide clear, business-oriented legal advice without lowering regulatory or legal standards.
Strong leadership, ownership, prioritisation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to build repeatable legal solutions, not only handle one-off legal tasks.
Confidence working with senior management, business teams, compliance, risk, external counsel and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with legal technology, document management tools, knowledge management, templates, playbooks or legal process improvement will be a strong advantage.

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to own the device software and data pipeline for our UMI data collection devices - handheld gripper systems used by human operators to demonstrate manipulation tasks. The data they produce is used to train our robots, so the quality of what you ship determines the quality of robots we deploy.
This is a deeply technical, hands-on role. You will write production-grade device software, build reliable sensor fusion and recording pipelines, and own the validation tooling that keeps our training datasets clean. You will work closely with hardware, AI, and data collection teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and maintain device software across the full episode lifecycle: session initialisation, per-sensor stream management, episode recording, and graceful shutdown
- Integrate and synchronise sensor streams - wrist and head cameras, 6-DOF pose trackers, gripper aperture encoders, and optionally force/torque sensors - into temporally-aligned, policy-consumable trajectories
- Define and maintain the data contract between UMI devices and the AI team: stream formats, episode packaging, metadata schemas, and the interface between raw recordings and training pipelines
- Build and maintain data validation tooling that detects dropped frames, timing jitter, pose tracking loss, image quality degradation, and sensor faults before corrupt episodes enter the training dataset
- Own operator-facing device software: status indication, start/stop/cancel episode controls, and clear feedback when a session needs to be retried
- Support field data collection sessions - deploying devices to operators, validating data quality in situ, and iterating quickly when issues surface during collection
- Debug integration failures on device hardware: camera driver issues, bus bandwidth saturation, tracker calibration drift, compute thermal throttling, and storage write failures mid-episode
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience in embedded or device-level software in a robotics or sensing context - writing code that runs on the device, not just talking to it
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python for real-time sensor drivers, inter-process communication, and data recording pipelines
- Solid understanding of multi-modal sensor synchronisation - timestamps, hardware triggers, clock drift - and the practical consequences of getting it wrong for downstream ML
- Familiarity with camera pipelines and the difference between what a sensor reports and what actually lands on disk with correct timing
- Strong instincts around data quality and dataset hygiene - you are uncomfortable shipping episodes with frame drops, tracking loss, or misaligned streams
- Proven ability to debug on real hardware: you read logs, attach profilers, and can diagnose whether a problem is a driver, a bus, or a timing issue
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with 6-DOF pose tracking systems (VIO, optical trackers, or similar) and their common failure modes
- Familiarity with ML training data formats and what an AI team actually needs from a recorded episode - understanding the consumer of the data you produce
- Exposure to operator-facing tooling for data collection: session management, per-episode quality summaries, rejection and retry workflows
- Experience scaling device software from a small number of prototype units to many devices operated by non-engineers in the field
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
About the Role
The company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Back Office & Integration squad. This is a dedicated people-management and hands-on technical leadership role — it is not a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer position. You will have direct line-management responsibility for a team of 4 to 8 engineers, taking full ownership of their performance, professional growth, and delivery.
The company develops a fast-growing travel management platform tailored specifically for the maritime, aviation, and energy sectors. Headquartered in Rotterdam with a team of ~200 people, the company builds mission-critical software that keeps complex global industries moving.
In this role, you will balance approximately 60% people management and delivery with 40% hands-on technical work, tackling complex architectural tasks and conducting code reviews.
Key Responsibilities & People Management
Line Management. Directly manage a team of 4–8 intermediate to senior engineers (7+ years of experience).
Performance & Growth. Conduct regular 1-on-1s, lead performance reviews, and foster career development within your team.
Hiring & Firing. Hold active input and decision-making responsibility for recruitment, team expansion, and offboarding.
Accountability. Take full ownership of your team's delivery and culture, standing by your team when challenges or mistakes arise.
Technical Contribution (~40%). Solve complex engineering problems, lead code reviews, and drive architecture decisions using modern .NET technologies.
Requirements

Recent People Management Experience. Active experience in a direct line-manager role within the last 3 years.
(Note: Mentorship, code reviews, or acting as a Tech Lead without direct people management do not qualify)

Strong, active commercial experience with C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, and SQL within the last 5 years.
Ability to work remotely initially with a mandatory agreement to relocate to the Netherlands after 4 to 6 months (Full visa sponsorship and relocation support provided), willingness to start on a fixed-term contract during the initial trial period.
Technical Evaluation & AI Expectations
During the technical selection process, candidate AI usage will be evaluated. While AI is welcomed as a productivity tool, using AI merely as a basic search engine/shortcut for fundamental engineering problems is considered a reject signal.
Self-Rejection Criteria (Please do not apply if):
You are primarily looking for an Individual Contributor (IC), Tech Lead, or purely advisory role without direct line management responsibilities.
You are looking for a permanent contract from Day 1 without an initial fixed-term/trial period.
You are unwilling or unable to relocate to the Netherlands within 4 to 6 months.

In 2026, we launched Computer, the defining product for the new era of agentic AI. Millions of people now use Perplexity to transform knowledge into action, and the Growth team owns the product loops that help them discover, adopt, and build lasting habits around our most important AI experiences.
As a growth engineer at Perplexity, you'll work across the full funnel — activation, onboarding, SEO, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments — while also building the applied AI systems that make those experiences smarter. Engineers are responsible for end-to-end projects from training and productionizing classifiers to identify high-intent users, personalizing value discovery, shipping contextual onboarding experiments, or wiring new AI capabilities into measurable adoption and revenue outcomes.
Growth at Perplexity goes beyond incremental funnel optimization. The team sits close to the core product - we translate behavioral signals, model outputs, and fast experimentation into durable product surfaces used across consumer and enterprise workflows. You'll move fast, run many experiments in parallel, and own the outcome end-to-end.
Tech Stack: TypeScript | Next.js | React | Python | PostgreSQL | Eppo | AWS
WHY PERPLEXITY IS DIFFERENT
- Craftsmanship. We build high quality, tasteful products targeting both the AI native and AI curious.
- Ownership. You identify the problem, design the solution and ship it.
- Entrepreneurship. We think like founders, act with urgency, and hustle to deliver for each other and our users.
- Scholarship. Work among highly talented peers, pursuing knowledge and truth, upleveling ourselves, our teams, and our products.
- Partnership. We amplify each others' strengths, break down silos, and give selflessly to help our colleagues deliver excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build, and own growth surfaces across the full funnel — activation, onboarding, SEO, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments — for Computer and every Perplexity product.
- Lead experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis and instrumentation through implementation, analysis, and rollout, shipping many in parallel and learning quickly from each.
- Build applied AI systems that power growth: classifiers for high-intent segments, personalization for value discovery, and AI-driven onboarding and recommendation surfaces.
- Launch vertical-specific experiences (e.g., students, enterprise organizations) that connect new AI capabilities to measurable adoption and revenue outcomes.
- Hill-climb on the metrics that matter: activation rate, paid conversion, retention, and habit formation, instrumented with clean data and trustworthy experiment readouts.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Applied AI to translate behavioral signals and model outputs into durable product surfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (we're open to strong junior and mid-level candidates with a track record of shipping).
- Full-stack engineering skills, with comfort across a modern web stack (we use Next.js, React, TypeScript on the frontend and Python on the backend).
- Strong execution: you ship many experiments and product improvements in parallel and drive them to a clear outcome.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or in-house equivalents).
- Comfort with SQL and data-informed decision-making — you can pull, segment, and interpret your own funnel data.
- Strong product judgment; you translate user behavior and growth opportunities into simple, effective technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts; you propose experiments, ship features ahead of schedule, and drive improvements without asking for permission.
- Genuine interest and adoption of AI products and willingness to learn quickly.
NICE TO HAVE
- Direct experience on a growth, activation, conversion, retention, or lifecycle team at a consumer or PLG/self-serve SaaS company.
- Experience training and productionizing ML models (classifiers, ranking, personalization) and connecting them to product surfaces.
- Experience with SEO, lifecycle marketing tooling, or paid acquisition surfaces.
- Familiarity with subscription and/or usage based billing products, paywalls, or paid upgrade experimentation.
- Experience shipping for both consumer and enterprise audiences.
- Time spent at a fast-growing startup or on a high-ownership engineering team.
- Familiarity with mobile development - Swift/Objective-C/Kotlin/Java, in-app payments, mobile release cycles, Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store guidelines, and rollout monitoring
