About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
The GTM Strategy & Operations, Frontier team coordinates how Anthropic's research reaches the market: how we run model launches commercially, how we partner with Capacity teams to allocate a finite compute supply across customers and surfaces, and how we translate what the field learns into reads that Research, Product, Finance, and GTM leadership act on.
One tangible example of the work this role will contribute to is new model and product introduction: the end-to-end commercial run of a model, product or capability release, from identifying market opportunities to preparing customer cohorts and the field through to the adoption readout that shapes where we go from there. We are hiring for someone who can run a high-stakes cross-functional program where the bar for execution is sky high, author the strategic analysis and readouts executive leadership needs, and create and optimize repeatable methodologies.
This role reports to the Global Head of GTM Strategy & Operations, Frontier, and sits at the interface between GTM, Applied AI, Product, Research, Security & Safeguards, Finance, and Compute.
Key responsibilities
Run launches
Serve as GTM DRI for product and model launches: own account selection for pre-launch, coordinate field readiness across scaled pre- and post-sales teams, and run the launch-week operating room with extreme ownership.
Synthesize customer adoption signal (usage patterns, migration behavior, qualitative feedback from the field) into actionable reads for executive leadership across the company
Design and run the field response loop: how AE, CS, Applied AI and customer response and feedback gets captured, triaged, and routed to the teams who can act on it
Evolve the NPI methodology
Design and iterate GTM's NPI methodology across both standard releases and managed-access programs, including operating cadence, roles and handoffs with field teams, and the bar for launch readiness
Carry the executive reporting cadence for launches: what leadership teams see, how often, and how we make adoption trends legible early as well as retrospectively in a continual sprint environment
Partner across the company
Act as GTM's primary interface to Product S&O and Research on launch planning, ensuring commercial readiness is sequenced with product / model readiness
Work with Sales Strategy & Operations partners, Applied AI, and Customer Success on field execution, ensuring the launch motion lands consistently across segments and regions
Partner with Capacity teams on rate limits, provisioning, and capacity planning for account cohorts, assessing capacity-efficiency opportunity and executing against it with customer value at the core
Collaborate on protect-play targeting, sequencing, and post-launch competitive response when external launches and ours overlap
Minimum qualifications
Experience in product operations, PMM operations, release management, management consulting, or GTM strategy & operations
Built and run high-stakes, operations-heavy programs with many cross-functional dependencies at a high-velocity product company, with a track record of turning effective heroics into a repeatable, scaled methodology
Ability to quickly weigh, select, and execute the balance between business, safety, and repeatability considerations
Written for and presented to senior executives; you can produce the readout leadership reads and hold the room with Product, Research, and Finance counterparts
Exceptional analytical skills, rooted in data but never without corresponding actionable insights. You can design the metrics and reporting that make a program legible, distinguish signal from noise in a messy week-one read, and work with analytics engineering teams to evolve data design to be fit for purpose
A bias toward extreme ownership - you see the gap, you fill it, and you hold the outcome regardless of where the org lines fall
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred qualifications
Strong analytical foundation: SQL and code-level data proficiency, sophisticated modeling in Sheets or Excel, and experience with BI tools (Looker, BigQuery, or similar)
Experience at an AI, developer-tools, or API-first company with consumption-based pricing (ideally as well as B2B SaaS)
Strong familiarity with, if not direct experience in, commercial roles (sales, rev ops, product marketing) or product management in addition to operations
Familiarity with safety, trust & safety, or security-review processes in a product context
Demonstrated success operating in ambiguity at a company where the product and the operating model are both changing fast
Deadline to apply:
None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

As a member of the Production Operations Engineering team within the platform technology group, you will help keep key user experiences on the platform available, resilient and high performing across time zones and critical business periods, while continually enabling our service teams to deliver new and exciting products and technical features. The team is trusted to respond when production services need support, including through rotational on-call, incident response and urgent operational escalations. You will be empowered to define and lead technical initiatives, helping identify and proactively drive improvements in process, technology and production operations supporting millions of users.
This Staff individual contributor role carries broad technical ownership: a recognized expert and hands-on system architect whose decisions shape reliable production services across multiple partner teams. The ideal candidate brings deep full-stack engineering and production experience, strong automation instincts, cloud/container operations expertise, incident leadership, and curiosity for using AI-assisted workflows to improve operational quality, release confidence and delivery speed.
Responsibilities:
Lead application operations and production support for internal and public-facing services in AWS and container environments, with focus on availability, resiliency, scalability, performance and security.
Define and evolve production operations architecture, readiness standards and reusable patterns for services/features, including automation, monitoring, runbooks, rollback plans and operational acceptance criteria.
Architect and scale tools, scripts and automation frameworks across API/service telemetry, release validation and operational readiness to reduce toil and improve incident response.
Establish CI/CD operational gates, production validation practices and governance mechanisms that improve release confidence, scalability and engineering velocity.
Advance observability, event correlation and operational metrics using service health signals, automation health, release risk indicators, dashboards and alerts that reduce MTTD and MTTR.
Partner with SRE, data services, CI/CD, service engineering, platform hosting, product and business teams to shift reliability left and improve shared ownership of production quality.
Lead performance, capacity, infrastructure modernization and cost optimization for services using AWS, Kubernetes, EKS/UKS, autoscaling and related cloud patterns.
Use AI-assisted and agentic tools, such as Codex, Claude, Cursor or similar, to accelerate development, operational automation and production-signal analysis.
Provide rotational on-call support and improve incident workflows using Slack, JIRA, ServiceNow, BigPanda and related escalation systems; lead RCA and systemic fixes for recurring production issues.
Key Qualifications:
Staff-level hands-on engineer equally comfortable with software development, systems engineering, production operations and service architecture.
System Architect and full-stack engineer who connects customer experience, application behavior, APIs, data flows, infrastructure and operational controls into resilient designs.
Proven ability to define operational standards, quality gates, reusable frameworks and governance practices across teams.
Independent technical leader who influences cross-functional partners, mentors engineers and drives adoption of scalable practices.
Strong systems-thinking and troubleshooting depth across runtime, cloud, Kubernetes/EKS/UKS, network, observability, release and incident layers.
Required Skills:
Distributed service architecture and operations, Unix/Linux systems internals, networking, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, load balancing and API troubleshooting.
AWS service operations, including ALB, Route 53, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache and Java/API services.
Containers and orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/UKS and Fargate.
Automation and software development in Python, Go or Java; source control and configuration management using GitHub/Git, Ansible, Chef or similar.
Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD using Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Spinnaker or comparable tooling.
Observability, incident management and collaboration tooling such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, BigPanda, Slack, JIRA and ServiceNow.
Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust messaging by audience, translate complex technical issues for cross-functional business partners, and articulate both technical detail and customer/business impact.
Data reporting, analytics or operational data platforms such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Snowflake or big data systems.
AI-assisted development or agentic engineering workflow experience using tools such as Codex, Claude, Cursor or similar.
Experience:
BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical area.
10+ years operating and supporting services in production environments at scale.
5+ years AWS Cloud experience deploying, tuning and operating Java/API services.
Hands-on incident management experience, including on-call, incident coordination, stakeholder communications, RCA and corrective-action tracking.
Payment processing, commerce, entitlement, wallet, fraud or financial systems experience is a plus.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render is building a channel partnerships program from the ground up, and we're hiring our first Head of Revenue Partnerships to lead it — reporting to our VP of Revenue. You'll build Render's relationships with development agencies, PE firms, and — over time — systems integrators, to help Render customers who are migrating off competitive platforms, or who are pursuing new builds with Render.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Map partner types — agencies, PE firms, SIs — and determine which are the best fit for Render's product and customer base.
- Build relationships with execs at partner firms to understand their priorities, pricing, and delivery models.
- Develop commercial agreements with partners to co-sell Render alongside their own services, to both existing and net-new customers.
- Develop Render-specific narrative and enablement materials: decks, pilot frameworks, ROI overviews.
- Design co-marketing models with partners — customer dinners, digital campaigns, conferences, and joint events.
- Work with our technology partner team to build a co-sell motion for large & enterprise accounts.
- For partners with a portfolio model, like PE firms, design scaled activation programs — webinars, cohorts, office hours — that drive Render adoption across many portfolio companies at once, without requiring 1:1 touch on every account.
- Drive the creation of new pipeline for both Render and the partner, and own the path from first engagement to partner-qualified referral to closed revenue.
- Set up the operating rhythm of each partnership: regular engagement cadences, co-sell activity, and a clear, repeatable path from first call to referral.
- Partner closely with Render's internal Sales and Delivery/CS leaders to align on how reps and partners work together, keep deal registration and pipeline hygiene clean, and avoid channel conflict with internal teams
- Define and report on success metrics for the channel, evolving from early engagement signals toward pipeline and revenue impact as the program matures.
- Build out a team of partner managers over time, dedicated to each partner type.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in B2B partnerships, sales, GM/general management, or solutions engineering roles, ideally at a B2B SaaS, Infra or PLG company.
- A generalist with strong seller DNA — someone who is outcomes-obsessed and comfortable being measured on pipeline creation, deal influence, and revenue, not just relationship-building.
- Comfort building a program without a playbook: you can hypothesize, run small experiments, and iterate quickly rather than waiting for a fully-formed process.
- Real experience working with solutions partners, agencies, or SIs — ideally in co-sell, referral, or partner-sourced revenue motions.
- A proven record of getting deals done — willingness to travel, get in front of partners in person, and find creative ways to keep partners engaged and motivated.
- Strong cross-functional operating skills — you'll work daily with Sales, Delivery/CS, Product Marketing, and Legal, and need to build trust and alignment across all of them.
- Comfort operating at the executive level, both with partner leadership and internally at Render.
- A technical enough orientation to credibly engage with developer-focused partners and speak to how AI is changing the questions partners are asking.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience building or scaling a channel program at an infrastructure, dev-tools, or other PLG-motion company.
- Familiarity with partner/ecosystem tooling such as Crossbeam, or experience running account mapping and pipeline reviews jointly with external partners.
- Experience navigating the emerging AI SI / AI consulting partner category.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.
Render is an equal-opportunity employer. We know that employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, product, and community to flourish. We make all employment decisions including hiring, evaluation, termination, promotional, and training opportunities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, physical handicap, mental disability, medical condition, disability, gender or identity or expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, height and/or weight.
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
We encourage all who are interested to apply. We can't wait to hear from you!
