WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion has been at the cutting edge of AI since before ChatGPT launched. The job of the Model Capabilities team is to keep us there. We own the model layer of Notion AI: integrating frontier models as they ship, keeping inference reliable and economical at scale, and building new capabilities that other teams take advantage of.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Bring new frontier models into production quickly, making them available for our users and our engineers.
- Make inference reliable: better error categorization, self-healing retries, and cross-provider failover.
- Own observability for the model layer, driving down both time to detection and time to fix.
- Build new model-level capabilities and help product teams adopt them.
- Act as connective tissue across Notion's AI teams: find the gaps, unblock people, and make sure fixes land with the right owner.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Comfort with a moving frontier: The model landscape changes monthly. You keep up with it, form your own view of what's real, and stay pragmatic about what's worth adopting now.
- AI fluency as a practitioner: You use AI tools seriously in your own work and have opinions about where they help and where they don't.
- Production AI systems experience: You've built and operated systems on top of LLM APIs, not just prototyped with them. You understand token economics, streaming, tool calling, context limits, and how each of these fails in production.
- Measurement before conviction: You don't ship a prompt or model change on vibes. You define what "better" means, build or use the evaluation to test it, and are willing to be proven wrong by your own data.
- Cost and performance instincts: You treat latency and dollars as product qualities, not afterthoughts, and you can reason about the tradeoff between them and output quality.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $255,000 – $300,000 per year.
By clicking “Submit Application”, I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion’s Global Recruiting Privacy Policy https://notion.notion.site/Notion-Global-Recruiting-Privacy-Policy-fc3eb4e829354a26a2bb6fd5e289b550?pvs=74 and NYLL 144 https://notion.notion.site/Ashby-AI-Bias-Audit-2b0efdeead05803bbbfae159ec86c528.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

Technologies You'll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Orchestration team's services — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions

We are comfortable in code and collaborate often with engineering to create products that are secure by default.
Who we’re looking for

- Excited about AI. You're embracing AI and automation to scale security and reduce toil.
- Curious and humble. You ask the basic questions, enjoy untangling complex systems, and bring others along with you.
Responsibilities
- Lead secure design efforts. Partner with engineering teams on secure design and code reviews. Identify and prioritize risks early in the product lifecycle.
- Build secure by default systems. Develop paved paths that systemically reduce risk and make secure development the easiest path for engineers.
- Perform offensive security testing. Conduct penetration tests and code audits on new and existing products from an adversarial lens.
- Improve our security tooling. Integrate and improve our static analysis, supply chain security, and vulnerability management capabilities across engineering pipelines.
- Operate our responsible disclosure program. Run and improve our program by furthering automation, validating submissions, and coordinating remediation.
- Improve our products. Write and ship code to remediate vulnerabilities in production systems and improve the security posture of WorkOS products.
- Work directly with customers. Help build our customers' trust by directly engaging with their security-related questions and concerns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a security engineering or security-focused software engineering role.
- Ability to execute across a wide range of security functions such as security assessments, penetration testing, responsible disclosure, security tooling integration, etc.
- Familiarity with and experience using common industry tooling.
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities in software, demonstrated through CVEs, bug bounty, blog posts, or prior work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in partnering with engineering teams.
- Comfortable reading and writing code, and able to effectively leverage AI during the process.
- Bonus: Experience in the authentication and identity domain.
- Bonus: Experience writing production level code, especially developing security features.

ABOUT CLIPBOARD
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
THE ROLE
Clipboard Health is a marketplace that connects healthcare facilities with professionals looking for shifts.
Our largest customers operate at significant scale, and their problems don't always fit neatly into a single team or function. A product implementation might stall because of an operational workflow. A payroll issue might involve the customer, our Operations team, Product, and Engineering. An integration might technically work but fail to work for the people actually using it.
We need someone who can step into those situations and figure them out.
As a Forward Deployed Analyst, you'll work directly with some of our most important enterprise customers to solve complex operational and product problems. You'll get close to the customer, understand how their business actually works, diagnose what's going wrong, and coordinate the people needed to fix it.
You won't necessarily have direct authority over the teams doing the work. Instead, you'll create clarity, build alignment, and keep things moving.
Your job is to take a messy problem and turn it into a solved problem.
Some days that might mean analyzing data to understand why a customer's staffing workflow isn't working. Other days might involve coordinating a complex implementation across Product, Engineering, and Operations, troubleshooting a payroll or time clock issue, or working with a customer's leadership team to get a stalled initiative back on track.
The problems will change. The expectation won't: you own the outcome.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own complex customer and operational problems from diagnosis through resolution
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their workflows, challenges, and goals
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders ranging from frontline operators to VP and Director-level leaders
- Diagnose problems by combining customer conversations, operational context, data, and system behavior
- Break ambiguous problems into clear workstreams, priorities, owners, and timelines
- Lead complex customer implementations, particularly involving time clock compliance, payroll, and integrations with systems like ADP and UKG
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to investigate issues, define solutions, and drive execution
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Operations, and customer teams to remove blockers and keep critical initiatives moving
- Manage expectations and communicate clearly when timelines, priorities, or solutions change
- Identify recurring operational and customer problems and turn those insights into improvements to our product and processes
- Build new processes or approaches when existing ones aren't sufficient to solve the problem
- Travel to customer sites occasionally when being there in person will help move an important problem or implementation forward
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–6 years of experience in consulting, operations, strategy and operations, implementation, customer strategy, program management, or a similar problem-solving role
- Experience working directly with customers or clients, particularly in complex or high-stakes situations
- Strong structured problem-solving skills. You can take an ambiguous problem, figure out what matters, and create a path forward
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to investigate problems and make decisions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both senior executives and frontline operators
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence teams without direct authority
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously
- A strong sense of ownership. You care about the ultimate outcome, not just completing your assigned tasks
- Curious and resourceful. You're comfortable learning new systems, processes, and industries quickly
- Persistent when things get messy. You don't give up when the first solution doesn't work
- Comfortable getting into the weeds. You'll need to understand operational details, systems, data, and processes to solve many of the problems you'll encounter
Consulting backgrounds are a particularly strong fit, especially candidates who have experience working with complex clients, structuring ambiguous problems, and driving cross-functional projects. We're also open to candidates from operations, implementation, product, program management, and other backgrounds with the same core skill set.
We're looking for people who are ready to move beyond simply identifying problems or making recommendations. You want to be the person responsible for making the solution work.
THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
At Clipboard, we don't believe proxies are a reliable way to measure ability. We prefer to evaluate candidates by having them do work that closely resembles the actual job.
Our process is designed around that:
1. Preliminary Screen
2. Case Study
3. Case Study Interview
4. Hiring Manager Interview
5. Culture Interview
6. Reference Check
7. Offer!

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to support the general ledger, the close, and our accounting processes and controls as Baseten scales. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who wants full ownership of the core accounting function at a company where the entity structure, transaction volume, and reporting requirements are growing quickly.
You’ll join the corporate accounting team and take on the general ledger, vendor contract review, the close calendar, and our internal control environment as the business grows. We are focused on tightening close procedures, strengthening controls, and building reporting rigor to support the scale ahead. You’ll partner closely with FP&A, Data, and cross-functional partners to make sure the books close on time and accurately every cycle.
Baseten is building the infrastructure layer for AI-native companies, and we're scaling quickly - in headcount, entity structure, transaction volume, and contract complexity and volume and vendor size. If you want real ownership over a growing function on a lean team, this role offers real scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Ledger and Financial Reporting
- Own day-to-day execution of general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statement preparation as the entity structure grows
- Own recurring close areas, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and equity compensation
- Lead month-end and year-end close, setting the calendar and holding FP&A, Data, and cross-functional partners so the books close on time every cycle
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and flux analysis for accounting and finance leadership
- Identify and automate the manual, error-prone steps that slow the close down
Controls and Audit
- Partner directly with cross-functional teams and external auditors to keep internal controls tight and the company audit-ready
- Own audit deliverables, including technical accounting memos, schedules, and sample testing support
Systems and Cross-Functional Partnership

Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.

That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 Your main goal will be to build and own a high-performing Mid-Market territory in the US, creating pipeline from the ground up and converting technical buyers into high-value n8n customers.
You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle while helping us sharpen the playbook for our next stage of US growth:
Own your pipeline from scratch
- Build and execute a self-sourced prospecting strategy across a greenfield/ whitespace territory, including account mapping, segmentation, and multi-channel outbound across calls, email, social, and events.
- Own opportunities through the sales cycle, engaging technical buyers including Developers, DevOps, IT leaders, and CTOs.
- Guide prospects through technical evaluations and proof-of-concept processes, translating n8n’s capabilities into clear business value.
- Partner closely with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success to demonstrate the power of n8n and ensure a smooth path from evaluation to onboarding
Hit activity benchmarks that drive pipeline
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for outbound activity (calls, emails, meetings booked) and self-sourced opportunities created, treating prospecting as a daily discipline.
Think like a territory owner, not just a closer
- Continuously refine your outbound approach based on conversion data (connect rates, meeting-to-opportunity rates) to improve territory performance.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing/SDR teams to fill gaps in inbound coverage.
