Perplexity is revolutionizing how companies get work done. We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our team and serve as the strategic bridge between our product reality and market impact. You will architect the external narrative of our products and amplify their value to inspire adoption and drive growth.
If you have a passion for creating clarity when things are messy, thrive in turning ambiguity into a definitive point of view, and want to build a world-class marketing engine that drives launches as systems rather than events, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Turn ambiguity into clarity. Transform complex product capabilities into a crisp market point of view, defining not just what we built, but who it’s for, what it replaces, and why it wins.
- Drive launches as a system, not an event. Orchestrate product introductions by defining success metrics and sequencing readiness across teams, ensuring enablement and proof points land simultaneously with the launch.
- Make others materially better at their jobs. Equip customer-facing teams with "talk tracks that close," handling objections and providing competitive intelligence that reflects the actual battlefield.
- Obsess over the customer and the market. Maintain a sharp, real-time view of buyer needs and alternatives, ensuring our narrative remains grounded in truth and provable value rather than empty hype.
- Measure outcomes, not just outputs. Tie messaging and launches to tangible pipeline influence, activation, and retention, running lightweight experiments to iterate fast on pricing, packaging, and positioning.
- Influence without authority. Lead through alignment by pre-wiring decisions, surfacing risks early, and managing trade-offs to keep product, sales, and marketing moving in lockstep.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within a high-growth technology company where you have owned end-to-end product launches.
- Proven track record of synthesizing complex technical concepts into simple, specific, and provable narratives that travel across executive, sales, and partner teams.
- Deep familiarity with the rules of traditional marketing with an interest in breaking them.
- World-class storytelling skills grounded in data, with the ability to summarize a product’s value in a single sentence and defend it with evidence.
- Extreme comfort delivering clarity in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.

About the role 💭
We’re looking for a commercially minded, AI-native BDR who enjoys understanding what technical teams are building and finding thoughtful ways to start conversations with them. You’ll combine account research, AI-assisted prospecting and engagement with the startup community to create qualified opportunities for our sales team. This is a hands-on outbound role: researching accounts, reaching out, following up and qualifying prospects are central to the job.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Creative Outbound Prospecting: Generate new leads through targeted outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events and other channels. We are looking for resourcefulness and innovation crafting new outbound strategies.
- AI-Powered Workflows: Build and improve lightweight AI-assisted workflows for account research, identifying relevant buying signals and preparing outreach. Validate sources, review messages before sending and use results to refine your approach. The goal is more relevant conversations and qualified opportunities, not automation or message volume for its own sake.
- Account Research: Research and identify key prospects, decision-makers, and stakeholders within target accounts to tailor your outreach efforts. Understand what a company is actually building — their stack, their auth setup, their scaling problems.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, business needs, and how WorkOS can help solve their challenges, qualifying them for the sales team.
- Pipeline Development: Set up high-quality meetings and demos for Account Executives by nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
- CRM Hygiene: Diligently log all prospecting activities, conversations, and pipeline data in Salesforce (or other CRM systems) to maintain accurate records and forecast pipeline health.
- Metrics-Driven: Meet and exceed monthly quotas for outbound activities, including the number of meetings set, emails sent, calls made, and qualified opportunities created.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, WorkOS product developments, competitor offerings, and what's changing in AI and developer tooling — so you can position yourself as a trusted advisor to technical buyers.
Qualifications 🌟
- Experience: You have experience creating opportunities for a product, business or community. That could come from sales development, growth, partnerships, community building, a startup or your own project. A BDR title isn’t required, but you should be able to explain how you identified an audience, earned their attention, followed up and turned interest into a meaningful next step.
- Target Personas: Experience outbounding to cofounders and CTOs.
- AI-Native: You have personally built or materially improved an AI-assisted workflow and used it in practice. You can explain the problem, how the workflow works, what you contributed and how you checked its output. You know where automation helps and where human judgment is essential, and can describe what improved or what you changed when it failed.
- Community Engagement: You actively engage with startup or technical communities and can share how you have contributed, learned from others or built useful relationships. This might happen through your work, online discussions, events, customer communities or a project. We value curiosity, consistent contribution and thoughtful follow-through, not the size of your network or who you know.
- Writing Skills: Able to independently craft messages and campaigns to technical leaders. You use AI to draft and scale, but you have the judgment to know when the output isn't good enough to send.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft personalized messages that resonate with different audiences.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort with understanding technical products and effectively communicating the value of WorkOS to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus if you can read API docs, poke at a codebase, or have shipped something yourself.
- Tools: Experience with a modern sales stack and AI tools. Examples include Salesforce, Gong, Loom, Outreach, Claude, ChatGPT and Clay; experience with these specific tools is not required.
- Curiosity & Adaptability: Willingness to learn, adapt quickly to new strategies, and stay curious about the industry and your prospects' needs.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to manage your time effectively.
- You are located in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, able to work locally, available for in-person meetings with clients and customers, and able to attend in-person events as needed.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are looking for research engineers to build the safety and oversight mechanisms that govern how our models handle biological knowledge. As a bio safety researcher, you will spend your time: designing and running capability evaluations against frontier models, generating and curating training data for our safety classifiers, training and iterating on those classifiers alongside our ML engineers, and measuring how they hold up against adversarial pressure in production traffic.
This work sits at the intersection of applied ML and biosecurity. You will help define what responsible AI safety looks like in the biological domain, translating threat models into evals, datasets, and deployed systems. The core technical tension you will own is precision: safeguards need to be robust against sophisticated actors while staying out of the way of the far larger population of legitimate researchers using Claude to accelerate life sciences work. Getting that tradeoff right is an empirical problem, and you will be the person measuring it.
You do not need to be an ML researcher today. We are looking for strong scientific programmers with real depth in modern biology who want to bring that depth to bear on model evaluation and classifier development.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and run capability evaluations to assess what new models can do in the biological domain, and turn results into concrete deployment recommendations
Develop training and evaluation datasets for our safety classifiers, working with internal and external threat modeling experts to ground them in realistic risk
Train, tune, and iterate on safety classifiers with ML engineers, optimizing jointly for adversarial robustness and low false-positive rates
Build the tooling and pipelines that make evaluation and classifier development fast and repeatable
Analyze classifier and eval performance against production traffic, identify gaps, and prioritize improvements
Design and run red-teaming and stress-testing of safeguards as threats, models, and product surfaces evolve
Partner with Research, Product, and Policy teams to embed biological safety throughout the model development lifecycle
Contribute to external communications including model cards, blog posts, and policy documents
Track developments in biology, ML, and biosecurity for their potential to create new risks or enable new mitigations
Minimum qualifications
Strong proficiency in Python, and extensive background in scientific programming and data analysis skills
Excellent grasp of ML fundamentals and an ability to rapidly adopt ML development practices
Excellent knowledge of modern biology across both measurement and engineering: high-throughput assays and functional characterization, as well as gene synthesis, genome editing, strain construction, and protein engineering
Ability to build and maintain your own tooling rather than relying on others to implement your ideas
Experience designing quantitative experiments or evaluations and drawing defensible conclusions from noisy results
Strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with dual-use research concerns and biosecurity frameworks, such as select agent regulations, the Biological Weapons Convention, or Australia Group guidelines
Comfort with ambiguity and with shifting priorities as AI capabilities change
Can work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
Are results-oriented, with a bias towards flexibility and impact
Thrive in a fast-paced research environment where you balance rigorous scientific standards with rapid iteration
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with large language models, including prompting, fine-tuning, or evaluation
Experience training or deploying classifiers or other ML systems in production
Experience developing ML methods for biological systems or biological data
Familiarity with adversarial robustness, red-teaming, or safety evaluation of ML systems
Have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in life sciences, with deep expertise in areas such as molecular biology, drug discovery, or computational biology
Experience leading complex technical projects across multiple stakeholder groups

Claude App Infrastructure owns the reliability, experience, and agentic capabilities of claude.ai. We're the platform team for Anthropic's flagship consumer product, responsible for the serving architecture that keeps Claude available at scale, the conversation experience, and the infrastructure that lets every product team at Anthropic ship into claude.ai safely and fast. When the product grows at hyper scale, we're the team that makes sure it feels the same or better.
Beyond the foundation, we're building the agentic layer that turns claude.ai from a chat surface into an execution surface: task execution, personalization, browser use, and server-side tools. This is where the next generation of the product gets built: the primitives that let Claude act in the world, not just respond. We believe reliability and velocity are the same problem, and our job is to build the systems that make both inevitable.
Key responsibilities
Design and build sandboxed compute environments where Claude can safely execute code, access tools, and interact with external services
Build state management systems for long-running agent tasks, handling checkpoints, recovery, and resumption across failures
Develop authentication and authorization frameworks for delegated access, so Claude can act on behalf of users securely
Create observability and debugging tools for agent execution, so we understand what Claude did, why, and how to make it better
Partner closely with product and research teams to define what's possible and ship it
Minimum qualifications
Experience building distributed systems, infrastructure, or platform services at scale
Comfort building cloud native infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or Azure
Experience with containers, sandboxing, or secure execution environments (e.g., gVisor, Firecracker, V8 isolates)
Write clean, maintainable code in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar language
Care about security, isolation, and building systems that fail safely
Preferred qualifications
Comfort with ambiguity and greenfield work where you help shape the architecture
Interest in problems that don't have existing playbooks
Experience building multi-tenant execution platforms or serverless infrastructure
Background in security engineering, sandboxing, or isolation technologies
Familiarity with workflow orchestration systems (Temporal, Airflow, Step Functions)
Experience with state machines, checkpointing, or durable execution patterns
Low-level systems experience (Linux internals, eBPF, container runtimes)

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

You'll develop genuine partnerships with customers, gaining a deep understanding of their business objectives, strategic direction, AI vision, and technical needs. You'll draw on both your business acumen and technical expertise to serve as a strategic advisor throughout their journey with us.
In partnership with the broader account team you will help customers identify the right Claude capabilities for their specific business objectives, working closely with them to provide best practices and guidance while supporting them as their usage (consumption & seat based) grows and evolves.
Your role focuses on helping customers scale their usage effectively, implement change management strategies, optimize use cases, and maximize the value of their investment through expanded use cases across their organization. The insights you gather from your customers will directly inform our research priorities, product development, and go-to-market strategies — making you a key voice in shaping how we build and deliver ongoing value as a business.
As one of our early CSMs in EMEA, you'll be a pioneer - helping to build regional processes, establishing new customer relationships, and representing Anthropic's brand in a high-growth market. You'll operate with significant autonomy while maintaining strong alignment with global teams, requiring someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can work effectively across time zones.
Responsibilities:

Become an expert in Anthropic's products across API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code, understanding the technical nuances and best practices for each to guide customers to the right solutions
Leverage your deep knowledge of the customer and regional nuances to proactively drive usage planning, understanding current and future consumption/ adoption and how it creates realized value for the customer
Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities, proactively addressing underutilization across both consumption-based (API) and seat-based (Claude for Enterprise / Claude Code) products to drive full value from contracted commitments
Serve as the customer’s thought partner, enhancing their knowledge of Claude products by socializing Anthropic’s product roadmap, driving awareness on new products and engaging Product PMs as the voice of EMEA customers
Document and quantify customer value realized through business outcomes, ROI, and impact metrics to build compelling internal business cases for continued and expanded investment
Identify potential use cases and lines of business not currently onboarded, partnering with customers to discover new applications for Claude across different departments, teams, and workflows
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value within customer organizations, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and organizational enablement
Own the customer experience across their lifecycle — managing comprehensive account and success plans grounded in the customer's business objectives, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, and serving as the primary conduit between the customer and Anthropic
Build Anthropic's brand and customer relationships as a member of the first in-region CS team, developing EMEA-specific processes, playbooks, and best practices where needed that account for regional business cultures
You may be a good fit if you have:
6+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (Customer Success, Consulting, Solutions Architect, Solutions/ Functional Consultant, Success Engineer or similar)
Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models, with understanding of different expansion levers and success metrics for each
Strong Technical fluency with ability to understand and articulate AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
