• You are a self-starter, autonomous and a team player
Now, it would be ideal if
• You have hands-on experience with training large transformer models in a distributed fashion
• You are able to navigate the full MLOps stack, for instance, fine-tuning, evaluation and deployment

We are looking for a
Senior Full Stack Engineer
who is comfortable working on high-load, distributed systems and making architectural decisions, not just implementing tasks.
At MMDSmart, you will work on a CPaaS/CCaaS platform handling messaging and voice communication at scale. This is not a typical CRUD product: you’ll deal with real-time flows, external integrations, billing complexity, and systems where design mistakes surface quickly in production.
You will be expected to take ownership from design to delivery and challenge assumptions when needed.
Since 2007, MMDSmart has been a
leading supplier in cloud-based business communications
, delivering game-changing IT products to businesses in over 100 countries. Our success is fueled by the inspiration and innovative ideas of our team members, encouraging their growth and impacting our Messaging and
Voice solutions
. These empower our clients to communicate more effectively with their customers. Don’t miss this chance to excel in a rapidly expanding tech company, where your potential and ambitions are not just recognized, but celebrated.
Requirements
What will you do at MMDSmart?
Design and implement new platform capabilities across backend and frontend (not just “features” but system-level improvements);
Contribute to architecture decisions in a microservices environment (Go-based services, event-driven patterns, APIs);
Build and evolve React-based interfaces used by enterprise customers and internal teams;
Work on integrations with external vendors (messaging providers, voice, billing systems);
Investigate production issues in a high-scale environment and drive them to resolution—not just patch them;
Participate in technical discussions, trade-off analysis, and system design reviews;
Occasionally lead initiatives or own a domain end-to-end.
You are a perfect match if you have:
4+ years of real production experience as a Full Stack Engineer;
Strong backend expertise with Go (3+ years), not just syntax, but concurrency, performance, and system design;
Solid frontend experience with React + TypeScript (2+ years);
Experience building or maintaining distributed systems / microservices;
Good understanding of data modeling (SQL + NoSQL) and when to use each;
Ability to debug complex issues across services (not limited to your own code);
Comfortable working in an environment where requirements evolve and not everything is predefined.
Will be a plus:
Experience with real-time systems, messaging, or telecom domains;
Familiarity with event streaming (Kafka or similar);
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred);
Exposure to billing systems or high-throughput APIs.
What you get:
Work on systems that actually operate at scale and have real business impact;
A team where senior engineers are expected to influence architecture, not just execute;
Remote work.
Benefits
Why do talents choose and stay at MMDSmart?
Embrace the opportunity to work in a company that cares about:
Your Wellness:
Access to mental health programs, comprehensive medical insurance, and a sports card*.
Your Happiness:

About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
About the Role
Product decisions at Finom are made fast, and we want them made on evidence. You join the Growth & Activation product stream as its analyst, working with PMs and engineers on how new customers discover the product, start using it, and grow with it.
There is no established way of doing product analytics here yet, so you define it: how experiments are designed, how metrics are named and counted, what a readout looks like. You come with your own approach rather than waiting for one to be handed to you.
What you'll do
Work with the product managers and other stakeholders in the stream. Agree priorities with them, and look for the problems worth solving instead of waiting for a request to arrive.
Bring recommendations to the business, including opportunities it does not see on its own.
Define the metrics for the stream: what activation means, what we expect from the funnel, how each number is counted, and how it stays consistent with the way the rest of the company counts the same things.
Design the tests. Hypothesis, primary metric, audience split, duration, and how the result gets read once it lands.
Automate that work, so running a test is routine and not a small project every time.
Build the infrastructure for testing at scale, with external tools or our own, so a testing culture can spread across the product teams.
What you bring
Product analytics done end to end, with decisions that changed the roadmap behind it.
Fluent in SQL, confident in Python, and solid on experimentation and causal methods/
You have chosen or built tooling for tests and metrics before.
You use AI tools in your daily work, not occasionally.
A partner to stakeholders rather than a person who executes tickets.
Proactive, you bring the problems and the hypotheses yourself.
You take an ambiguous problem, structure it, and explain your reasoning to product and business people.
English at C1 or above
Nice to have
Product analytics built from scratch
Experience where conversion volumes are low: B2B, long sales cycles, small samples.
What You Will Get In Return
Make a genuine impact on the product
Join our upward trajectory, and grow with us. We provide the resources and opportunities for continuous personal and professional development, empowering you to make a genuine impact on our evolving product.
Work in the EU
Embark on this exciting journey with us and enjoy the flexibility of traveling and working remotely or in a hybrid model across Europe.
Become a stock options holder
Unlock your inner entrepreneur and align your aspirations with ours through our Stock Options Program. This exciting opportunity is available to every team member, from junior team members to our founders.
Receive unwavering support and care
Finom stands by you at every step, embodying our commitment to your well-being and success reflected in our modern, friendly, and eco-conscious corporate culture. We offer constant support and care to ensure your Finom experience is successful and fulfilling.
Work & Swim program
Immerse yourself in our exclusive Work & Swim Program. Spend one month in a comfortable corporate apartment in enchanting Cyprus. It's the ideal opportunity to strike the perfect work-life balance while enjoying breathtaking Mediterranean views.
Equal Opportunity Statement
At Finom, we're an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We embrace diversity and invite applications from all walks of life. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability status, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
