WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Platform Security Engineer to join our team and help strengthen the security of Supabase’s infrastructure, cloud platform, Kubernetes environments, and containerized workloads as we continue to scale. You’ll work closely with infrastructure, platform, SRE, product engineering, and technical leadership, helping us proactively reduce risk across the systems that run Supabase.
This role is ideal for someone who has deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and large cloud environments and is excited about securing developer infrastructure without slowing teams down. Success in this role means improving the security posture of the platform through pragmatic engineering, clear technical judgment, and scalable guardrails.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you’ll:
- Identify and reduce security risk across AWS, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and platform infrastructure.
- Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and technical risk assessments for platform and infrastructure systems.
- Partner closely with infrastructure, platform, and SRE teams to design practical controls and secure-by-default patterns.
- Improve Kubernetes and container security across areas like workload isolation, RBAC, admission control, secrets, network policy, and runtime hardening.
- Assess container runtime and Linux isolation risks, including capabilities, seccomp/AppArmor, namespaces, cgroups, and container escape scenarios.
- Strengthen AWS security posture across IAM, account boundaries, network controls, logging, detection, encryption, and service configuration.
- Build scalable mechanisms such as automation, guardrails, paved paths, detection, secure defaults, and review frameworks.
- Distinguish between theoretical risk and material platform risk to prioritize security efforts effectively.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have senior-level experience in platform security, cloud security, infrastructure security, container security, or security engineering.
- Have deep practical experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and Linux security fundamentals.
- Have worked in large cloud environments, multi-cluster Kubernetes setups, developer platforms, SaaS platforms, or high-scale infrastructure teams.
- Can reason clearly about identity, networking, workload isolation, runtime security, secrets, supply chain, and blast radius.
- Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences, especially in a written, asynchronous environment.
- Are able to manage security efforts across complex projects with various stakeholders
- Are energized by solving real-world infrastructure security problems and navigating ambiguity while moving quickly.
- Prefer building guardrails, automation, and secure defaults over creating unnecessary process or bottlenecks.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.

We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render is seeking a foundational Account Manager to build and nurture relationships with our fastest growing and highest potential customers. Our product-led growth model has attracted a significant number of high-growth companies who have scaled their usage organically, and as they grow, it's critical that we evolve from just a self-service solution into a proactive business partner. This role is pivotal in demonstrating Render's long-term value and scalability, owning the commercial health of the relationship, and ensuring our customers achieve their business objectives on our platform.
As the primary business owner for a portfolio of Render's most important customers, you will be responsible for understanding their strategic goals, leading commercial conversations, and driving adoption and expansion. You will proactively identify and mitigate churn risks by reinforcing our value proposition against alternatives managed platform services and hyperscalers. Working in close partnership with our Customer Engineers, you will provide a holistic experience that combines deep technical guidance, knowledge/best practices sharing and ultimately securing our position as a long-term partner in their success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage a large book of ~300 commercial accounts using a 1-to-many, programmatic engagement model—delivering consistent value at scale through proactive outreach and enablement.
- Build and run scalable programs that drive adoption and expansion (e.g., onboarding journeys, product education series, lifecycle campaigns, webinars/office hours, and targeted nurture motions).
- Proactively share best practices, playbooks, and technical guidance in partnership with Customer Engineers—helping customers succeed through self-serve resources and repeatable workflows.
- Identify and prioritize accounts for targeted, higher-touch interventions using health signals and product usage data; mitigate churn risks through timely education and clear next steps.
- Own and execute contracting motions across your book, including renewals, annualization/commit motions, and standard commercial expansion—working closely with Sales, RevOps, and Legal to remove friction.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Support to surface customer insights and influence the programs, content, and product improvements that will most impact scaled customers.
- Track and report on program performance (adoption, retention, renewal/commit conversion, expansion) and continuously iterate based on results.
- Represent Render with authenticity, curiosity, and technical credibility in every customer interaction.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Has 5+ years of proven experience in a customer-facing role such as Account Management or Customer Success, preferably in the cloud infrastructure or developer tooling space.
- Possesses a commercial mindset with a track record of successfully managing renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and negotiating contracts
- Is familiar with using product usage data or analytics to identify customer health risks and expansion opportunities.
- Is a strategic thinker who can connect the dots between a customer's technical challenges and their overarching business goals.
- Excels at building rapport and trust with a wide range of stakeholders from senior engineers to C-level executives.
- Is savvy with product-led growth (PLG) environments and understands how to engage customers who initially adopted a product through a self-service motion.
- Is a builder who thrives in ambiguity. You are energized by the opportunity to shape a new function and create processes, not frustrated by the lack of standardized playbooks.
- Has a strong sense of empathy and a genuine passion for helping developers and engineering teams succeed.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Background at high-performing developer-facing hyper growth tech companies.
- Experience with hyperscalers and / or cloud platform solutions.
- Experience helping customers migrate from hyperscalers to managed platform solutions.
- Experience as a founding or early member of an Account Management or Customer Success team, with a demonstrated ability to help build playbooks and processes from the ground up.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.

to help lead the evolution of our Dynamic Experience Management platform, allowing teams to create and optimize experiences without requiring bespoke implementation for every client, iterating rapidly.

You will also shape the architecture needed to extend capabilities beyond PS5, across web, mobile, and other PlayStation devices. This is an opportunity to define foundational technology that will change how PlayStation builds, delivers, experiments with, and learns from customer experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the technical direction for our experiences client SDK, translating the adaptive-experiences vision into an incremental, production-ready architecture.
Design and evolve the platform-independent composition layer, public TypeScript APIs, versioned schemas, content adapters, component model, data bindings, and platform renderer contracts.
Build reusable experience primitives and native rendering capabilities that support responsive layouts, personalization, experimentation, telemetry, accessibility, localization, and platform-specific interaction models.
Establish safe coexistence and migration patterns, including backward compatibility, capability negotiation, validation, feature flags, fallbacks, rollback, and observability.
Profile and optimize bundle size, startup and time-to-interactive performance, memory usage, rendering behavior, and runtime reliability on resource-constrained client platforms.
Improve developer experience through clear interfaces, reference integrations, test harnesses, preview and debugging tools, automated compatibility testing, and high-quality documentation.
Help establish governed, agent-assisted authoring and validation workflows that can translate design and business intent into trusted artifacts, supported by policy checks and evaluation suites.
Partner with client, design system, merchandising, content, personalization, experimentation, and platform service teams to align contracts and deliver end-to-end capabilities.
Provide technical leadership across team boundaries, mentor engineers, make sound trade-offs in ambiguous problem spaces, and communicate architecture and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Expert-level proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript and strong experience with React, React Native, or a comparable component-based client framework.
Strong software architecture and API design skills, including modularity, dependency management, versioning, backward compatibility, and incremental migration of large production systems.
Experience building data-driven or server-driven user interfaces, reusable component systems, or runtime composition frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and improve client performance and reliability using profiling, telemetry, automated testing, and production observability.
Experience designing for more than one client environment, such as console, mobile, web, TV, or embedded platforms, with a practical understanding of platform-specific constraints.
Proven track record of solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems with minimal direction and driving alignment without relying on formal authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document architecture and explain complex technical decisions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with console development, living-room interfaces, focus-based navigation, or performance-constrained native clients.
Experience with schema-backed declarative UI, domain-specific languages, JSON Schema, component expansion, data binding, hydration, or client-side rendering engines.
Experience building or integrating client SDKs, content management or merchandising systems, personalization platforms, experimentation frameworks, or design systems.
Experience migrating a large client application away from a legacy rendering or content-delivery framework using staged rollout, compatibility layers, and measurable exit criteria.
Experience developing platform adapters or renderers for iOS, Android, web, or other native client environments.
Familiarity with content and layout separation, runtime content sources, telemetry provenance, accessibility, localization, and safe fallback behavior.
Experience with developer tooling, visual preview systems, contract testing, schema validation, or automated cross-platform regression testing.
Experience applying generative AI or agentic workflows to software or content creation, including evaluation, governance, and deterministic output constraints.
A track record of technical leadership and mentoring across multiple teams.

About the role
As an Intermediate Backend Engineer, you will take backend features and improvements from clarifying the problem through shipping them and following up in production. You will work within a product area, partnering with Product Management, Frontend, Infrastructure, and Security to deliver predictably and contribute to the quality, security, performance, and maintainability of shared backend code and services. You will be trusted to work with minimal guidance, to know when to seek help, and to communicate clearly in a remote, asynchronous environment — with other tenured engineers alongside you to review your work, think through hard problems with you, and help you grow.
Why you’ll love this role
Ownership:
You'll take features from requirements through delivery and follow-up; your code will run on a platform used by millions of users.
Learning and Growth :
You’ll work alongside your engineering team, who treat code review and design review as a learning loop rather than a gate — one of the fastest ways to grow your engineering judgment.
Innovative Culture:
You’ll use AI as a genuine part of daily engineering work, developing the judgment to know when to trust it and when not to.
Autonomy:
You’ll thrive in our remote-first, asynchronous organization, where clear written communication and self-direction are the pillars of success.
User-Centric Collaboration:
You’ll partner closely with PMs and designers to shape requirements, so you understand why you’re building something, not just what.
What you’ll do
Own and Ship Features:
Design, implement, test, and ship backend features and improvements with minimal guidance, working in Ruby/Rails, Go, or any other modern languages.
Build for Production:
Write maintainable, secure, observable, and performant code. Design and maintain APIs, background jobs, integrations, and bounded service functionality, and work with data models, migrations, indexes, and query behavior.
Test and Review:
Add and improve automated coverage — unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end where appropriate — and review others’ code for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and operational risk.
Operate What You Build:
Investigate build, test, deployment, and runtime failures at the feature boundary, identify technical debt and propose practical improvements, and take part in on-call or operational support where your team’s ownership model requires it.
Leverage AI:
Use AI productively in daily work, validate what it produces, and understand where its limitations matter.
What you’ll bring
Backend Fundamentals:
Professional experience building and shipping production backend applications, with strong programming, API, database, testing, debugging, and performance fundamentals.
Adaptability:
Experience with Ruby/Rails, Go, or any other modern backend language. We value the ability to learn and adapt over mastery of a single language.
Feature Ownership:
The ability to take a feature from clarification through delivery and follow-up, working independently while seeking input at the right time.
Practical Judgment:
Sound instincts about security, reliability, performance, maintainability, and operational risk, plus an understanding of modular backend boundaries and the consequences of coupling.
Clear Communication:
Strong written communication and effective collaboration in a remote, asynchronous environment.
AI Fluency:
Practical experience with AI coding tools, including the ability to review and correct what they generate.
Helpful experience
Production Go services, APIs, concurrency, profiling, or gRPC.
Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, or cloud deployment.
Rust, particularly for systems, security, performance, or platform work.
PostgreSQL, schema evolution, caching, queues, messaging, or event-driven workflows.
Observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
Contributing to a modular monolith, bounded context, shared component, or independently operated service.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Compute & Infrastructure Accounting team supports accounting and financial reporting for OpenAI’s rapidly evolving cloud computing, data center, server, equipment, colocation, software and data, and other AI infrastructure arrangements. We’re seeking a hands-on Contract Accountant to support recurring close and day-to-day operational accounting for these costs.
The contractor will translate contract terms, pricing, delivery, usage, invoices, and operational data into accurate accruals, true-ups, journal-entry support, reconciliations, and variance explanations. This role works closely with Compute & Infrastructure Accounting, Technical Accounting, Procurement, Strategic Finance, Data Engineering, and external vendors to resolve exceptions and keep accounting outputs timely, complete, and audit-ready. The contractor will use approved AI tools to reduce manual effort, strengthen analysis, improve documentation, and create scalable operating leverage.
This role does not make final accounting conclusions or approve journals, payments, vendors, contracts, or access; it does not negotiate contracts or commit company funds. Success is measured by accurate and timely close deliverables, well-supported reconciliations, prompt exception resolution, dependable cross-functional communication, and adherence to established controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Close and Operational Accounting
- Prepare and support assigned month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, true-ups, journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, balance-sheet substantiation, and flux or variance analysis.
- Prepare journal-entry support and submissions, including account and cost-center coding; monitor approval, posting, and rejection status and coordinate timely follow-up with authorized employees.
- Perform vendor- and contract-level reconciliations, monitor actuals against accruals, resolve differences, and support recurring management reporting.
- Support lease, fixed-asset, construction-in-progress, and related infrastructure accounting as assigned, including data capture, schedule maintenance, modifications, and period-end entries.
Contract, Invoice, and Data Validation
- Maintain complete and accurate contract and pricing records across new agreements, amendments, credits, delivery or drawdown changes, extensions, and terminations.
- Translate commercial terms into accounting inputs and operating workflows and ensure relevant changes are reflected in recurring accounting processes.
- Validate vendor invoices and operational data against rates, usage, commitments, delivery, resource attributes, and accounting mappings.
- Investigate exceptions, document root causes and resolutions, track open items and bottlenecks, and coordinate follow-up through completion.
Controls, Audit, and Issue Resolution
- Follow established accounting policies, standard operating procedures, close calendars, review requirements, and approval workflows.
- Execute control procedures over source data and workpapers, including completeness and accuracy checks, evidence retention, and reviewer-ready documentation.
- Respond to audit and control requests by assembling tie-outs, schedules, explanations, and source evidence.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.

- Partner with a world-class engineering team pushing the boundaries of creativity and content creation on the browser
- Take on new challenges across the Frontend stack to implement product features for Runway’s machine learning-based generative AI tools
- Improve the performance, reliability, and code quality of our codebases
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, ideally full-stack focused
- Demonstrated fluency in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building with third-party AI APIs (e.g., chatbots, LLM integrations)
- Experience in architecting production-ready systems and familiarity with debugging and profiling tools
- Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate on them with tight product deadlines
- Humility and open-mindedness; at Runway, we love to learn from one another
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
As a member of the EMEA Talent Acquisition team focused on Corporate and Go-To-Market hiring, you will be instrumental in building and scaling Mistral's EMEA-based teams across both corporate functions and revenue-generating roles. Joining early means you'll help shape our recruitment strategy and operations, partnering closely with leaders across Corporate functions (Finance, Legal, People, Operations, Marketing, Communications) and GTM functions (Sales, Pre-Sales/Solutions, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations). Your work will directly influence Mistral's commercial and operational success by ensuring we find and engage exceptional operators who will drive Mistral's growth across the EMEA region. In this role, you'll also foster a strong candidate experience and help establish recruiting best practices as we expand across multiple EMEA markets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
STAKEHOLDER PARTNERSHIP
- Partner deeply with Corporate and GTM leaders — from CRO and VP Sales to Finance, Legal, and People leadership — to understand hiring needs, define role specs, and identify the right talent across multiple EMEA markets.
- Own full-cycle recruitment across Corporate and GTM functions: Sales, Finance, Legal, People/HR, Marketing, and Communications roles.
- Advise hiring managers on market mapping, leveling, comp positioning, and the competitive landscape for EMEA talent, accounting for local market nuances, benchmarking, and statutory differences across countries.
- Translate the nuances of each role into compelling, accurate, and locally relevant candidate outreach.
END-TO-END RECRUITMENT
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to close, operating with autonomy on complex, high-volume roles across Corporate and GTM.
- Source passive and active candidates across EMEA talent pools, particularly in AI/ML, open-source software, enterprise infrastructure, and regional corporate markets.
- Conduct intake and calibration sessions with hiring managers to align on ideal candidate profiles and stage expectations.
- Drive efficient, high-conversion pipelines and close candidates in a fiercely competitive market for senior talent across multiple geographies and languages.
- Navigate cross-border hiring complexity, including relocation, remote-friendly offers, and country-specific employment frameworks.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE & SELLING MISTRAL
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with clear communication and a compelling narrative about Mistral's mission, culture, and trajectory.
- Articulate Mistral's positioning in the AI landscape — frontier models, open-weight philosophy, and enterprise credibility — to differentiate us against better-known competitors.
- Provide candidates with real insight into our GTM motion, corporate operations, growth plans, and the specific impact of their role.
- Deliver a high-quality, respectful candidate experience at every stage, regardless of outcome.
RECRUITING OPERATIONS & DATA-DRIVEN IMPROVEMENT
- Develop and refine recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve outcomes and efficiency.
- Use data to diagnose pipeline issues (e.g., drop-off at specific stages, time-to-fill by role, offer acceptance rates) and propose targeted solutions.
- Build and maintain market maps, competitive intel, and talent pools for key EMEA Corporate and GTM segments.
- Standardize interview rubrics, scorecards, and debrief practices across EMEA hiring teams, while respecting local market and language differences.
RAISING THE BAR
- Collaborate with Corporate and GTM leadership and the broader Talent team to continuously elevate our hiring standards.
- Contribute to defining and evolving our EMEA talent acquisition strategy as we scale from early team to a mature, multi-region organization.
- Partner on employer-brand and outbound sourcing initiatives that position Mistral as a destination for top Corporate and GTM talent in EMEA.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth B2B SaaS/infrastructure company, with a focus on Corporate functions and/or Sales/GTM roles.
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire across the full GTM stack — from Enterprise AE’s to GTM leadership — as well as key Corporate functions (Finance, Legal, People, Marketing, Operations).
- Deep network and sourcing expertise in EMEA talent markets, particularly in AI/ML, open-source, developer tools, or enterprise software.
- Track record of hiring in competitive, candidate-scarce markets where candidates have multiple offers, including cross-border and multi-language hiring.
- Experience working across multiple EMEA markets and comfort with country-specific comp, benefits, and employment nuance.
- Willingness to work on other roles as needs come up.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities across a high-volume hiring slate spanning two function families.
- Professional experience with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby.
- Familiarity with the AI/ML landscape and the ability to credibly discuss frontier model capabilities with technical GTM and corporate candidates.
