GitLab features must ship successfully across four distinct deployment platforms—Self-Managed, Dedicated, Dedicated for Government, and GitLab.com. Today, developers routinely discover platform compatibility issues late in development, triggering costly rework, delays, and emergency escalations. The Platform Readiness team is building an internal developer tooling capability that embeds platform readiness intelligence directly into GitLab's software development lifecycle to solve this problem.
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the newly established Platform Readiness team, you'll architect and evolve the systems that enable features to ship successfully across all platforms by automating the evaluation of platform readiness requirements and surfacing risks early. You'll be a technical anchor for the team, driving the evolution of platform readiness from manual, ad-hoc assessments toward intelligent, agentic automation. Your work will directly impact GitLab's ability to ship features faster while dramatically reducing the risk of platform-readiness gaps and the operational burden of cross-platform validation.
You'll receive onboarding and technical guidance from other engineers and team leadership as you establish the technical direction for the Platform Readiness team.
What you'll do
Contribute to the Platform Readiness team's agentic workflows
on the Duo Agent Platform: design, implement, and evolve the Core Agentic Workflow (currently published to the AI Catalog as a DAP flow) and the Requirements Agent, enabling automated evaluation of platform readiness assessments against platform requirements
Evolve the platform requirements knowledge base
: contribute to schema design, validation tooling, and CI systems that power the agentic workflow; ensure the schema captures the full scope of platform readiness concerns across all four platforms and domains
Build integration surfaces
that enable feature teams to engage the Platform Readiness team where they already work: issues, merge requests, design documents, and CI/CD pipelines
Partner with platform teams
(Infrastructure, Security, Data) to translate their expertise into structured platform requirements, domain skills, and validation logic without requiring specific domain knowledge
Contribute to the quality control feedback loop
: design systems that surface assessment errors, missed gaps, and content drift back to the governance loop for continuous improvement; measure and improve assessment accuracy and guidance relevance
Mentor other engineers
on the team in agentic-workflow standards, prompt discipline, evaluation methodology, and the principles of human-AI collaboration in platform readiness
Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision records
that document the Platform Readiness team's technical evolution and rationale for key design choices
What you'll bring
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of software engineering experience
with at least 2+ years in backend, platform, or developer-facing tooling
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Python, or Golang
(Ruby a plus)
Experience shipping developer-facing tooling
where the primary user is another engineer
Understanding of GitLab-style development workflows
(issues, epics, merge requests, CI/CD, code review) as first-class artifacts that automation can read and reason about
Ability to work in cross-functional environments
across multiple platform teams
Experience with structured content systems, schemas, or validation tooling
Highly Valued Experience
Experience with AI/agentic systems
(DAP, ADK, LangGraph, or similar) OR demonstrated ability to reason rigorously about the boundary between what AI should decide and what humans must own
Experience integrating with LLM APIs
and reasoning about cost, latency, evaluation, and failure modes
Background in developer experience or platform engineering
Experience with governance patterns
for shared standards and cross-org decision-making
Open source contribution history
in platform, developer experience, or AI infrastructure
PostgreSQL or other relational database experience
at scale
What Makes You Stand Out (Strong Plus)
You've
shipped agentic workflows in production
and dealt with the operational complexities of AI-driven automation
You have
experience designing schema-driven content systems
with non-engineer authors and evolving them as requirements change
You've
built developer platform teams at scale
and understand the dynamics of enabling other engineers
You have
observability and monitoring experience for AI systems
, including evaluation metrics, cost tracking, and failure analysis
You can
explain complex concepts
(agentic workflows, platform readiness, governance) clearly to platform teams, feature teams, product managers, and executives
About the team
The Platform Readiness team is part of GitLab Developer Experience, building internal developer tooling capability for platform readiness across GitLab's four deployment targets: Self-Managed, Dedicated, Dedicated for Government, and GitLab.com. We partner with platform teams, feature teams, and product management to ensure every feature is evaluated against platform readiness requirements before it ships.
Current challenges we're tackling:
Moving from manual coordination to embedded automation:
Transitioning from manual, ad-hoc platform readiness assessments to automated, agentic evaluation while maintaining human oversight and trust
Building a structured, machine-readable requirements body:
Evolving the platform requirements schema to capture the full scope of platform readiness concerns across all domains and platforms
Making platform readiness native to the tools feature teams already use:
Enabling platform teams to contribute domain expertise and validation logic without requiring deep Platform Readiness infrastructure knowledge
Building the measurement systems to know we're working:
Creating observability and evaluation frameworks that give us confidence in agentic-workflow decisions and surface failures early
Team structure:
You'll be joining a newly established Platform Readiness team that is building the capability to embed platform readiness intelligence into the development lifecycle. As a Senior engineer, you'll work closely with team leadership to define technical direction while mentoring other engineers on the team. You'll receive onboarding and technical guidance from other engineers and team leadership on the Platform Readiness team's architecture and agentic-workflow patterns.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
Who we want
This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As a VP, Mid-Market Sales in the East / Mid-Atlantic region, you’ll report directly to the SVP, Mid-Market Sales.
As an integral member of our sales leadership team, you will have the responsibility of managing a team of Regional Directors and Account Executives. Your team will focus on sales within the 50 to 9,999 life segment, making significant contributions to our overall growth and success.
What you will do
Lead and manage a team of Regional Directors and Account Executives in the East Region, ensuring they meet and exceed their sales targets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth within the specified segment
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align strategies and achieve company objectives
Provide leadership and guidance to your team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability
Oversee the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the region
Monitor and analyze regional sales performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards, as well as industry regulations
Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing brokers and partners in your region
What we're looking for
Minimum of 5 years of proven track record in sales leadership and management, with experience in delivering against team quotas
Extensive experience working with benefits brokers and consultants
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
A desire to do work that matters: and to be held to a high standard while doing it. You're energized by a mission with measurable outcomes, not just good intentions. You engage with AI tools as part of how you do your best work, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes that matter beyond your team’s metrics.
What you’ll get here
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.
Please note: we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Compensation
The target total comp (inclusive of base + commission) range for this role is $375,000 – $410,000. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan and benefits package, including: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health, and more.
Few roles offer this combination: work that is genuinely hard, a mission that is genuinely important, and a team that is genuinely invested in your success. If that’s what you’re looking for, we’d love to meet you.

As a VP, Mid-Market Sales in the Plains / Central region, you’ll report directly to the SVP, Mid-Market Sales.
As an integral member of our sales leadership team, you will have the responsibility of managing a team of Regional Directors and Account Executives. Your team will focus on sales within the 50 to 9,999 life segment, making significant contributions to our overall growth and success.
What you will do
Lead and manage a team of Regional Directors and Account Executives in the Central Region, ensuring they meet and exceed their sales targets

Who we want
This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As a Senior Account Executive in the Southwest region, you’ll report directly to the VP, Employer Sales - Southwest.
The Senior Account Executive will deliver strong sales results within the Southwest market in the 200-999 life segment. A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment with notable upside
A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system
Experience selling benefits-adjacent products; healthcare experience is a plus but not required
Strong ability to present and communicate a value proposition to external stakeholders

As a Regional Sales Director in the Northeast Region, you’ll report directly to the VP, Employer Sales - Northeast.
The Regional Sales Director will deliver strong sales results within the Northeast market in the 1,000-9,999 life segment. This role’s focus is relationship management within our partnership ecosystem of benefits brokers, consultants, general agents, and employers. It is a build-and-close role with real autonomy: you run your own book, take on the hardest deals, and shape how your region wins. Every partner you bring on puts higher-quality, lower-cost care in reach for more members.
What you will do
Own revenue responsibilities for your specific territory within the Northeast region, which includes: CT, MA, RI, NH, ME, VT, NJ, NY, PA, DE
Own a quarterly quota, delivering on it independently and taking on the most complex and cross-functional deals with minimal support.
Build and grow the region's base of brokers and advisors, activating new partners and deepening the highest-producing ones.
Personally develop and win the region's most strategic Gold Advisor relationships.
Shape territory strategy alongside your partner roles (Enterprise, AE, CR, and peer RDs), sharing what is working across the region.
What we're looking for
Experience in a quota-carrying sales or sales support role
Experience working with benefits brokers and consultants
Experience in health insurance strongly preferred
A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment with notable upside
A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system
Strong ability to present and communicate a value proposition to external stakeholders
The target total comp (inclusive of base + commission) range for this role is $275,000 – $300,000.

Who we want
This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As a Senior Account Executive in the West region, you’ll report directly to the VP, Employer Sales - West.
The Senior Account Executive will deliver strong sales results within the West market in the 200-999 life segment. This role’s focus is relationship management within our partnership ecosystem of benefits brokers, consultants, general agents and employers. You will carry your own quota, activating new brokers, deepening the partners already producing for Garner, and opening the next wave of top-producing advisors. Every partner you activate puts higher-quality, lower-cost care in reach for more members.

Own revenue responsibilities for your specific territory in the West market, which includes: CA, NV, AZ, UT, OR, ID, MT, HI, WA, AK
Continue and expand on Garner’s existing broker relationships
Develop foundational infrastructure and processes for tracking our sales and partnership pipeline
What we're looking for
Experience in a quota-carrying broker-channel sales role OR experience as a broker
A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment with notable upside
A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system
Experience selling benefits-adjacent products; healthcare experience is a plus but not required

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a AI Platform Engineer to build the execution layer for Supabase's internal AI systems.
Supabase is building an AI-native internal operating system: a common way of working across the company where AI carries a meaningful share of the operational load rather than sitting alongside it as an assistant. We are standing up a new central team to build those systems, enable the teams, and embed AI operations throughout the organization. You are the engineer on that team.
The execution layer is yours. You will build the platform that actually runs agents: an event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime, durable state so work survives a restart, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and full logging of every prompt, tool call and decision so any run can be reconstructed. You will build the evaluation layer that makes any of it trustworthy, because an agent that cannot be measured cannot be trusted with anything beyond reading. And you will build the agents themselves, across everything from executive reporting down to a layer of agents that watch the platform and improve it.
This is a governance-heavy environment by design, and that is the interesting part of the problem. Agents are risk-tiered from read-only internal data through to external-facing output, with review depth, evaluation requirements and human approval scaling by tier. Some capabilities are permanently off limits: an agent may read and report, it may carry a human-authored update into a system of record once a human consents, and it may initiate contact within a strict budget, but it may never autonomously write a commitment (an owner, a due date, a status) into a shared work system. Your job is to make that structurally impossible rather than merely forbidden.
You will be the only engineer on this platform. You will close open architecture decisions yourself, own the infrastructure end to end, and instrument the system so it reports its own return.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you'll:
- Ship the agent platform to production. An event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime (choosing the runtime is an open decision you will close), durable state that survives a failed run, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and complete run logging in the warehouse.
- Own the evaluation layer, and switch on the gate that depends on it. Golden suites with behavioral assertions rather than intuition, judge criteria with a written rubric, safety cases that must pass on every run, and a CI gate that blocks a regression from merging. This is the precondition for every agent that does anything beyond read internal data.
- Build and register the agent portfolio. Reporting, drafting, linting, triage and question-answering agents across the executive, team-lead and individual-contributor layers, plus a meta layer that observes the platform and improves it.
- Enforce governance in code. Risk tiers the pipeline actually enforces, least-privilege credentials per agent, tool-permission gates, a decision audit log, and autonomy classes where the dangerous class has no code path rather than a warning label. Nothing runs without a registered owner, tier, tool grant and human gate.
- Design how the system contacts people. A hard interruption budget per person, message bundling instead of a stream of pings, and a structure that gives something useful before it asks for anything. Adoption depends on this more than on any other single design choice.
- Own the platform tooling. The compiler and validator, inventory integrity, and the paths that distribute context and capabilities into the repositories and chat surfaces where work happens.
- Compute the operating measures from production data. A pipeline from raw system activity through to a computed maturity grade per team, defensible enough that a team can dispute the result and be answered with the query rather than an opinion.
- Instrument the platform's own return. A ledger that logs the work each agent absorbs and computes the monthly figure, so the value of the system is a measurement rather than a claim.
HOW YOU'LL THINK
RECURSIVE THINKING
You build the generator, not the artifact. When you need thirty agents, you do not write thirty agents; you build the inventory, the compiler and the distribution path that makes the thirty-first cost an afternoon, then a meta layer whose job is to watch the platform, find its drift and file the fix.
The evaluation layer is the same move applied to trust. You are not checking whether one agent is correct today. You are building the machine that decides whether every future agent is allowed to ship, which means the suite has to be right in a way the agent does not, and the thing that grades has to be graded too.
INVERSION THINKING
You start from the failure and work backward to the design. The rule is that an agent may never autonomously write a commitment into a shared work system. The weak implementation is an instruction in a prompt. The strong one is that the credential in the agent's tool grant physically cannot set an owner, a due date or a status, so no amount of clever input, prompt injection or model error produces the forbidden write. You reach for the second one first.
Same for evaluation. Before writing a suite you enumerate how the agent can be wrong: an update that invents progress that did not happen, one that quotes a private channel into a public digest, one that is accurate and reads as an accusation, one that credits the wrong person. Then the suite is that list, each case caught before the agent ships rather than after it embarrasses someone.
AI-NATIVE EXECUTION
You use agentic tools on real work, in files and repositories, with the same rigor you apply to anything else you ship. You have a setup of your own and can describe it mechanically: what triggers it, what it is allowed to touch, where the human approves, what it logs, and how you found out the one time it went wrong.
That experience is this job, generalized. You are building for async engineers across 40+ countries who will judge the platform by whether it saves them an hour or costs them one, so you are your own first user and your own harshest reviewer.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
MUST HAVE
- Have shipped production LLM agent systems that other people depended on. Not demos, not internal showcases. Systems with operational history, real users and at least one incident you can talk through. Prompt engineering on its own does not clear this bar.
- Design evaluations, not spot checks. You build golden sets, write behavioral assertions, define judge rubrics, set pass thresholds and gate CI on the result. You can explain why "we reviewed a bunch of outputs and they looked good" is not evaluation.
- Have done deep API work against the systems work actually lives in, and have authored MCP servers. You know the specific failure modes of those APIs, not just that they exist.
- Own infrastructure end to end in Python on GCP, with a cloud warehouse and infrastructure as code. You provision, deploy, monitor and roll back your own systems, and you close architecture decisions rather than routing them onward.
- Have taste about how software contacts humans. You treat every notification as spending a limited amount of trust.
STRONG SIGNAL
- Public work in this space. An open-source agent framework, an MCP server, an evaluation harness, or writing on agent reliability that other practitioners cite.
- LLM observability and cost instrumentation. Tracing agent runs, attributing spend per run, and building the queries that turn raw logs into a report someone acts on.
- You have built an internal platform that non-engineers adopted voluntarily, and can describe what you changed after watching them use it.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- The platform is boring. Agents run on a schedule and on events, state survives restarts, failed runs roll back cleanly, and every run can be reconstructed from its log.
- Nothing ships unevaluated. Every registered agent has a real suite with safety cases, the gate blocks regressions, and when someone challenges an output the answer is a test case rather than an argument.
- The dangerous action is impossible, not discouraged. An audit of any agent's credentials shows it cannot perform the writes it is not allowed to perform, and the audit log makes every consequential decision traceable.
- Teams pull the platform instead of being pushed. Agents get adopted because the reports are useful and the contact is rare and well-timed, and each team ends up with at least one workflow that runs automatically.
- The platform reports its own value. The work absorbed is measured and published, so the case for expanding it is made with data rather than enthusiasm.

An overview of this role
As a Customer Success Architect, you'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor and technical authority to some of GitLab's most complex and high-value Enterprise and Government customers across Singapore. In this role, you will be driving and shaping how our largest customers adopt GitLab's intelligent DevSecOps platform to achieve their business goals and realise meaningful, long-term outcomes. You will be working closely with customers after the sale to turn pre-sales command plans into clear success plans, guide them through their customer journey, and drive adoption, utilization, and technical maturity. You will also be directly influencing renewal and expansion decisions through your post-sales engagements with executive-level decision makers in the account.
This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who has already led high-stakes pre or post sales customer engagements in large complex accounts across multiple industry domains to drive quantifiable business outcomes..The individual is comfortable operating with ambiguity, and can credibly advise VP- and C-level stakeholders on business transformation, application modernization, platform strategy, architecture, and organizational DevSecOps transformation. You'll also be shaping playbooks and best practices, and acting as an escalation point for the team's most technically or politically complex situations.
Reporting into the APJ Customer Success organization, you'll own a portfolio of GitLab's most strategic enterprise and Government accounts, act as the executive-level technical liaison for these accounts, and drive cross-functional resolution of their highest-priority issues — coordinating and, where needed, directing the efforts of Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Support. You'll bring deep technical expertise in CI/CD, cloud platforms, multi-cloud, hybrid architecture and enterprise DevSecOps practices. You will use that expertise to shape customers' long-term platform strategy, apply best practices, configure GitLab for their environments and stay current with platform capabilities. In your first year, success will look like establishing yourself as the trusted senior advisor across a portfolio of flagship accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, materially improving and increasing platform maturity, leading retention and renewal conversations, increasing customer satisfaction across your portfolio and contributing to the broader CSA team's technical standards and ways of working.
Some examples of our projects:
Turning pre-sales command plans into measurable customer success plans that align technical adoption with business outcomes
Leading and driving the technical strategy behind a large-scale DevSecOps platform consolidation for a regulated Enterprise account or Government, including guiding enterprise customers on GitLab best practices across CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud architecture, TCO, applying compliance and architecture as well as business case presentations to customer executives
Owning end-to-end resolution of a critical, multi-team escalation for a flagship account — driving root cause analysis, coordinating Engineering/Product/Support, and personally briefing customer executives on remediation
What you’ll do
Owns a book of Enterprise and Government customers and drive adoption, retention, expansion, and overall satisfaction through ongoing strategic, business and technical engagement.
Serves as the senior post-sales strategic, business and technical advisor for a portfolio of GitLab's most complex, highest-value enterprise and Government accounts, shaping multi-year platform and DevSecOps strategy in partnership with customer executives, coordinating responses to questions, issues, and escalations across Support, Product Management, Sales, and Professional Services.
Translates ambiguous, high-stakes business outcomes into rigorous Customer Success Plans that are regularly reviewed with customer stakeholders. The Customer Success Plans contain clearly defined business outcome related goals, quantifiable benefits, realistic adoption milestones and remediation actions.
Prepares executive-ready reporting conducted on a regular basis with clear accountability for outcomes that demonstrate impact on adoption, retention, and expansion of GitLab products and services.

What We’re Building
Honeycomb is a service for the near and present future, defining observability and raising expectations of what developer tools can do! We’re working with well known companies like HelloFresh, Slack, LaunchDarkly, and Vanguard and more across a range of industries. This is an exciting time in our trajectory, we’ve closed Series D funding, scaled past the 200-person mark, and were named to Forbes’ America’s Best Startups of 2022 and 2023!

Who We Are
We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live
our values
every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers.
How We Work
We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote
Little more about the team:
AI agents at Honeycomb investigate, reason, and act on real observability data. They live in Canvas: the agentic workspace where engineers go to understand their systems.
The Agentic Intelligence team has shipped Canvas, the Honeycomb MCP server, and the Canvas Agent and Canvas Skills surfaces. What we're looking for today is someone who brings deep agent expertise and uses it to expand what the team can build: new agents, new surface area in Canvas, memory, spatial awareness, improved performance on our Bedrock loop.
Honeycomb's data store is fast and accepts high cardinality data; that's what makes agents built on top of it different from anything built on a conventional observability backend. This role is about taking advantage of that building agents that can do things no other observability product can do because the underlying data makes it possible.
Some of this work will start as a prototype. The expectation is that the code makes it through the full arc, from the rough first version through to something that holds up in production.
What you'll do
Design and deliver production-grade agents.
Build agents that investigate, reason, and act on live observability data inside Canvas. These agents must be trustworthy to engineers in high pressure situations, including mid-incident. Take one from rough first version to something that holds up under production traffic.
Own the agent work; support the whole product.
Scope, build, ship, and maintain the agents including the evals that tell you whether they got better or are just different. This role is agent-focused and also includes some fullstack development.
Build agents only Honeycomb can build.
Use a data store that returns high-cardinality queries in seconds to reason over signal a conventional backend can't serve at this fidelity correlating across services, drilling into a single trace, comparing before and after a deploy.
Extend the surface, and decide what's next.
Ship new capability into Canvas, the MCP server, and Canvas Skills memory, spatial awareness, a faster Bedrock loop and make the case for what comes after with working code. Distinguish hype from signal in a field with plenty of both.
Define what "good" means for agents here.
Set the bar: measurable against real evals, maintainable, and honest about their limits.
Example projects
Multiple agents collaborating on one shared Canvas investigation
each claiming a hypothesis, publishing findings, and narrowing the search space for the others so it resolves faster (blog).
Auto-investigation the moment an SLO burn alert fires
the agent forms hypotheses and prepares visualizations before a human looks, cutting mean-time-to-insight for on-call (o11ycon 2026).
Skills that encode a team's domain expertise
e.g. Kubernetes thresholds so agents and human colleagues can lean on them (o11ycon 2026).
What you'll bring:
AI and agent engineering experience.
You've shipped LLM-based systems people relied on in production not demos, not fine-tuned models in a research context. You know where agent systems break and how to design around it.
End-to-end ownership.
On a small team there's no handoff queue. You can take something from rough prototype to production-grade without needing someone behind you to do the durable engineering.
Current judgment, not just past experience.
You have informed opinions about what's shifted in agent design in the last six to twelve months that would change how you'd build today.
Agent architecture depth.
You understand how a fast, high-cardinality data store changes what an agent can reason about, and how to design for that.
Product judgment.
You can look at what the agent layer does today and see what it should do next and make that case with a prototype, not a deck.
Even better
Observability or developer-tools background.
Engineers are your users; you'll ramp faster with fluency in that world, and the work is better.
Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering.
Base Salary based on level of experience
$183,340
—
$206,000 USD
What you'll get when you join the Hive:

Time to recharge with unlimited PTO
A distributed-first mindset and culture (really!)
