What is Restaurant Software?
Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on. These systems all need to speak to each other which they frequently don't. It's a mess, and we are fixing it.
From buying a croissant at a cafe to having dinner with friends, it's a €4 Trillion+ global market and a critical part of everyday life in today's economy.
How We Use AI at Tebi
We use AI the way our merchants use Tebi, to cut out the friction and get to what matters faster. We believe in a world where AI increases quality, efficiency and speed.
At Tebi, AI isn't a policy or a checkbox, it's just part of how we work. It helps us write, analyse, build, and improve but doesn't make the last call. If there's a smarter way to do something, we want to find it.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Enterprise Trust & Governance team builds the control plane that lets the world’s largest organizations deploy Perplexity broadly and with confidence. Computer and our agents work across a growing share of our customers’ environments, tools, and models. For administrators, that makes precise, enforceable control essential: who can do what, with which data, through which agents, and within what usage limits. This team makes those controls easy to manage, reliable and consistent across every product, and transparent to the people accountable for them.
This is a product and platform engineering role with end-to-end ownership, from shaping the architecture and policy models to shipping the experiences our customers’ administrators and security teams use every day. You’ll work across product and infrastructure teams to turn complex enterprise requirements into reusable primitives and intuitive controls. The scope spans identity and provisioning, fine-grained role-based access across connectors, tool actions, and models, customer-managed encryption keys, admin APIs, audit logs, and policy and usage controls. Strong governance helps enterprises move from pilots to company-wide rollouts and gives them the confidence to entrust agents with greater responsibility over time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own enterprise identity and provisioning, including SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM, WorkOS integrations, and support for identity providers such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Build the permissions platform, with fine-grained roles and permissions for connectors, tool actions, models, and model effort levels, enforced consistently across products and agent workflows.
- Design and ship secure, well-documented admin APIs for audit logs, members, groups, roles, and settings.
- Build policy controls for model and feature availability, staged rollouts, model deprecations, usage and spend limits, alerts, and cost-center allocation.
- Build admin-facing analytics for adoption, usage, spend, and policy enforcement, helping organizations measure value and manage their deployments.
- Deliver audit logs and change notifications that help administrators investigate activity, track configuration changes, and support compliance.
- Set the technical bar for authorization correctness and reliability, with fast, consistent, explainable permission checks, well-defined failure behavior, and strong tenant isolation.
- Partner with Product, Design, Security, Sales, and Customer Success to translate complex enterprise requirements into reusable platform capabilities and intuitive admin experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning complex backend systems from design through production operation.
- Strong system design skills, including building reliable, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms with clear security and isolation boundaries.
- Strong proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes.
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following:
- Enterprise identity and provisioning, including OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM.
- Permissions platforms, fine-grained authorization, and policy enforcement.
- Encryption, customer-managed keys, and key lifecycle management.
- Enterprise admin platforms, audit infrastructure, or usage and spend analytics.
- Experience building or integrating enterprise identity and access systems, including platforms such as WorkOS, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Sound technical judgment in security-sensitive systems, balancing threat models, authorization correctness, and failure behavior with usability and delivery speed.
- A track record of leading ambiguous, cross-team initiatives from architecture through adoption, setting technical direction for shared platforms, and raising engineering quality through mentorship.
If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification. We value demonstrated impact, deep ownership, and the initiative to turn ambiguity into results.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Senior Technical Recruiter role built for someone who can move fluidly across our R&D disciplines (Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Platform Engineering), whatever's most critical that week. You won't be boxed into one team or one specialty. One day you're closing a Staff Software Developer, the next you're deep in a Security loop, the next you're building pipeline for a Data Science search that hasn't opened yet. If you thrive on variety and can context-switch without losing quality, this is your seat.
You build pipelines before roles even open, partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor, and run hiring processes that are fast, sharp, and never compromise on talent. You set the tone. You keep momentum. You get it done.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Full-cycle recruiting across all of R&D - any team, any level, any complexity.
- Proactive pipeline building in niche, hard-to-fill technical spaces before a req exists, not after.
- Hiring strategy that actually moves the needle by partnering closely with Hiring Managers, HRBPs, and Finance on headcount, prioritization, and market reality.
- AI-forward sourcing and workflow using modern tooling to move faster, without losing the human touch candidates remember.
- Data-driven funnel management - tracking KPIs, catching risk early, and using signal (not gut feel) to sharpen strategy.
- Interview loops, debriefs, and closes run with clarity and care because every step counts.
- Coaching and raising the bar for junior recruiters and the broader team's hiring craft.
- Process and tooling improvements that scale, you don't just work in the system, you come up with ideas that make it better.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a track record of closing complex, senior, or niche searches independently.
- Hands-on Ashby experience is required, you’re comfortable using the platform and it's not just "an ATS”.
- Genuine versatility - proven ability to pivot across multiple technical domains (not just one specialty) without dropping quality or pace.
- Fluency with modern sourcing platforms and AI tooling, and a test-and-learn mindset to keep improving how you use them.
- The judgment to navigate ambiguity, calibrate hiring bars, and the confidence to push back when something doesn't add up.
- A talent for relationship-building; candidates and hiring managers trust you because you earn it, not because of a title.
WHO YOU ARE
- Hungry, proactive, and resourceful, you embody our values, not just recite them.
- Naturally curious about markets, talent pools, and what's changing in tech hiring.
- Adaptable, able to pivot quickly, change is fuel for you, not friction.
- Organized enough to run multiple complex searches at once without anything falling through the cracks.

- Tech-native and async-first operational fluency: You are deeply accustomed to modern tech workflows (Slack, Notion, linear incident bots) and thrive in fast, distributed environments where clear, documented async alignment is essential.
- Cross-functional network thinker: You intuitively map organizational ripple effects, rapidly engaging the right stakeholders across Engineering, Product, CX, Legal, Compliance, and Leadership before downstream friction occurs.

NICE TO HAVE
- Educational background or formal training in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Legal Studies, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical crisis communications experience).
- Incident tooling fluency: Comfortable navigating incident management platforms (PagerDuty, Rootly), monitoring tools (Datadog), and data tools (Preset, SQL) to understand system behavior and measure client impact.
