BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
We are looking for a Deputy Regional Information Security Officer to own ICT security, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance across a portfolio of entities at different stages of maturity, from established licensed operations to new markets launching under frameworks. This is not a support function. You will be the named security officer for your entities, accountable to their boards and their regulators.
This is a high visibility, high trust role for a security governance professional who thrives at the intersection of technology, compliance, and financial services, and who is energised by applying established group frameworks to the local needs of a growing regulated entity.
Payward is one of the world's most trusted and secure digital asset platforms, operating across a growing network of regulated entities spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. As we expand into new markets and deepen our regulatory footprint, the demand for embedded, senior-level ICT security leadership at the entity level has never been higher.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Prepare, contribute and report to regional risk governance and board committee meetings, highlighting control status, risk exposure, and readiness
- Execute risk assessments and control testing across UAE operations in line with VARA cybersecurity guidelines and security best practices
- Maintain and review Business Impact Assessments (BIA), integrating findings into global resilience planning
- Contribute to Business Continuity Plan (BCP) documentation, testing, and updates, including entity-specific scenarios
- Collaborate with Group Security and IT to:
- Align UAE-specific regulatory controls with global policies and control frameworks
- Contribute to the development of security policies to meet international and UAE compliance requirements
- Conduct security control validation and document evidence for internal/external audits
- Participate in remediation planning for audit findings and track progress to closure
- Support the RISO in preparing and submitting regulatory documentation to regulators
- Prepare and present security and resilience reports for internal governance committees and local entity management
- Assist in responses to regulatory examinations, including due diligence and compliance queries
- Liaise with compliance and legal teams to interpret regulatory changes and propose control adaptations
- Participate in the regional incident response process, assist with post-incident reviews, and support continuous improvement activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to embed security requirements into operational processes
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Regulatory Governance
- Serve as the named ICT security officer for your appointed entities, with formal accountability for security risk, ICT governance, and resilience oversight at board level
- Prepare and present security, risk, and resilience materials to entity boards, with material review and coaching from the Global RISO Lead beforehand
- Act as the primary point of contact for VARA and other relevant regulatory authorities on ICT and security matters -- including examinations, inspections, licensing interactions, and ongoing supervisory dialogue
- Support entity go live processes by implementing and localizing established group ICT governance frameworks for new market launches, ensuring they meet UAE regulatory requirements and entity specific needs
- As the portfolio evolves, engage with additional regulatory frameworks with support from the broader RISO team
- ICT Risk and Security
- Lead ICT and security risk assessments for your appointed entity, escalating material risks through local governance and the Global RISO Lead
- Maintain and adapt entity level policies and procedures to align with group standards and UAE regulatory requirements
- Coordinate control testing, evidence documentation, and audit preparation with global security and compliance teams
- Manage the classification, escalation, and regulatory reporting of ICT-related incidents within the timeframes required by applicable regulators
- Operational Resilience
- Lead business impact assessments, critical function mapping, and business continuity planning at the entity level
- Oversee continuity and recovery testing, ensuring outputs meet regulatory expectations and feed back into global resilience planning
- Maintain oversight of ICT third-party dependencies and outsourcing arrangements in line with regulatory requirements
- Group Liaison
- Act as a key local liaison between UAE entities, the RISO team, Group Security, and Compliance
- Drive local implementation of group frameworks, policies, and resilience standards, adapting them where jurisdiction-specific requirements demand
- Represent entity priorities in group-led security initiatives and governance forums
WHAT YOU BRING
- 7+ years of experience in information security governance, ICT risk management, or regulatory compliance in a regulated financial services, fintech, or virtual asset environment
- Direct experience as a named regulatory contact, involvement in regulatory examinations, supervisory interactions, licensing processes, or equivalent
- Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks. Experience with VARA or other virtual asset / crypto-native regulatory regimes is a significant advantage and strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to implement, adapt, and maintain compliance or governance frameworks within a regulated environment
- Experience conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and resilience planning at the entity level
- Familiarity with ICT outsourcing and third-party risk management within group structures
- Ability to translate technical risk into board-level narrative and regulatory-grade documentation
- Comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously, each at a different stage of regulatory maturity
- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive outcomes across cross-functional, globally distributed teams
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or ISO27001 Lead Implementer preferred
- Familiarity with EU frameworks such as DORA and MiCA is strongly preferred
WHY THIS ROLE
- You will hold a named role within a regulated entity with accountability and board-level visibility
- You will operate at the frontier of virtual asset regulation -- VARA is one of the most advanced and fastest-evolving crypto regulatory frameworks in the world, and you will be shaping how Kraken meets it from day one of market entry
- You will build ICT governance programs from scratch for new market entries, not inherit and maintain what others have set up
- Exposure to local governance forums, regulators, and senior stakeholders, with remote guidance and preparation support from the Global RISO Lead
- The scope of this role is intentionally designed to grow -- as Kraken's entity footprint expands, so does the portfolio and the regulatory breadth you will be exposed to, potentially including Asian and EU frameworks such as DORA
- You will join a remote-first, international team shaping the future of crypto asset governance and resilience across some of the world's most demanding regulatory environments
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.

Our Client Advisors turn inbound interest from small- and medium-sized businesses into Toptal clients. You will be the first conversation a prospective client has with Toptal. You will respond to immediate-assistance requests within five minutes, quickly understand the business problem behind the request, connect necessary Toptal specialists, and help guide the client forward through the sales process. You will need to do a great deal in a short conversation: establish trust, diagnose the need, recognize relevant opportunities, explain Toptal’s value proposition, address concerns, and convert the business to sale. This is a high energy, consultative sales role at inbound velocity where excellence will mean running a high volume of first conversations, asking better questions than the client expected, and constantly building momentum along the right Toptal offering path. You will need to bring clarity and articulate value across Toptal’s full portfolio: specialized talent, global hiring and payroll through HireGlobal, and our AI-driven, platform-powered, outcome-focused services offerings. Your ownership continues after the first call. You will represent the client through technical stages, keep them engaged between conversations, and resolve issues that slow a decision. You will manage those active opportunities alongside new incoming inquiries, knowing when to bring in specialists for deeper expertise.
Responsibilities:
— Run high energy, open-ended discovery on every inbound conversation, quickly establish rapport, understand what prompted the client to reach out, and uncover the business objective behind the stated request.
— Build the necessary sales momentum to keep clients engaged, earning the right to recommend before you recommend.
— Quickly identify what is driving the need, whether there is a real opportunity, identify the metrics that matter most to the client, and who is involved in the decision.
— Explain why the relevant Toptal offering fits, address the client’s concerns, and ask for commitment.
— Manage deal cycles from discovery through close and maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in CRM.
— Give necessary specialists a clear account of the client’s needs and prepare them for subsequent conversations.
— Stay close as technical questions are resolved and keep the client engaged through the next decision.
— Maintain clear next steps, timing, and blockers for each active opportunity while responding to new inbound requests.
— Understand the client’s broader growth plans including global hiring, EOR and payroll needs, marketing and sales growth, financial, and technology challenges.
— Position Toptal as a strategic partner rather than a single-transaction vendor.
— Execute a client-centric approach across every interaction during pre-defined working hours, run rapid research on clients before outreach, ask focused questions to fill the gaps, and stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
— Work with team and cross-functional partners including matching, delivery, HireGlobal, and Toptal’s service offerings experts to respond promptly to high-volume inbound inquiries and bring the right expertise into a deal at the right moment.
— Communicate clearly over Zoom and Slack.
— Review own calls, seek and act on feedback, and contribute learnings back to the team.
Onboarding and development expectations include learning Toptal’s model, sales training, mock calls, running inbound conversations independently, managing leads and opportunities, meeting sales and quality targets, mentoring new team members, and contributing to team efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
— 2–3 years of B2B sales experience (Account Executive, Inside Sales, Sales Development, Account Representative, or related role).
— Demonstrated experience converting inbound opportunities into paying customers at scale, owning the sale from first call to close.
— Experience coordinating parallel sales opportunities and maintaining sales momentum while other teams complete necessary work.
— Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
— Full availability during working hours to take client calls.
— Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company managing a high volume of clients alongside competing deadlines.
— Exceptional time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
— Software, tech, or professional-services sales experience.
— Exposure to named sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, Sandler, or similar.
— Experience selling more than one product or service line into the same account.
— Familiarity with global hiring, EOR, or payroll concepts.
— Fluency with modern sales tooling including AI-assisted research, call review, and CRM workflows.
Core Competencies:
— Consultative discovery with open-ended questions and diagnosis before prescription.
— Qualification discipline to distinguish interest from intent.
— Business acumen to hold credible conversations about growth, hiring, cost, and risk.
— Point of view to bring insight and respectfully reframe client thinking.
— Client-centricity to uncover and resolve client issues through value-based selling and directness about fit.
— Will to win, naturally competitive and aiming to exceed quota.
— Learn-it-all mindset seeking feedback and sharing learnings.
— Ownership as a self-directed individual contributor accountable for pipeline and results while collaborating effectively.

Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix, Steuerbot and TaxScouts, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
AI is shifting how the best products get built. The handoffs between product, design, and engineering are slowing us down. The companies moving fastest are doing it with people who own the full loop, from the user problem to the shipped feature, without losing the thread.
At Taxfix, we’re rebuilding our R&D organization around this idea. We call these people builders.
A Builder has a primary craft, one they’re genuinely excellent at, but they don’t stop there. They stretch across product, design, and engineering as the situation demands, using AI to cover the gaps. They’re accountable to outcomes, not job descriptions.
Taxfix has put €5 billion back into our customers’ pockets and we aren’t stopping there. We operate in Germany, Spain, and the UK, and we’re in the middle of a genuine AI transformation in how we build and how we’re organized.
Assume there’s no designer to give you a Figma file. No engineer to hand the spec to. The magic is knowing what to build, why, and in what order, then making it happen. If building the thing sounds more natural to you than describing it, this role is for you.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS:
- Take a user problem from rough idea to shipped product. Write the brief, design the flow, prototype it, and get it in front of users, with as few handoffs as possible. Own the full loop.
- Compress research, synthesis, and spec-writing from weeks into hours. You reach for AI tools not because you’ve been asked to, but because they faster make you faster in delivering high quality outcome. You know when to trust the output, when to edit it, and when to reject it. Use AI as a force multiplier.
- You structure fuzzy problems, identify what should and shouldn’t be built, and move forward when there are dozens of possible directions. The magic is in the trade-offs, not the feature list. Turn ambiguous ideas into things users can trust.
- You collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders on AI-related product work, translating AI concepts, capabilities, limitations, and outputs into clear product decisions. You work effectively in hybrid human-AI teams. Work in small, focused teams.
- You know the metric your team is trying to move. You measure your week by what changed in user behaviour, not by how many tickets moved to Done. Be accountable to outcomes, not roadmaps.
- You give feedback directly, to anyone, regardless of level. You raise blockers early and in the open. Push back when something’s wrong. Team player who raises the bar.
YOUR PROFILE:
YOUR CRAFT
- 5+ years experience in Product Management (ideally in fintech or B2B). You’ve shipped things that real people use, and you can point to the metric that moved when you did.
- Understand implicitly the product development process - from discovery, to user research to experimentation. You are able to build and defend a compelling strategy that solves user needs.
- You have a builder track record: you’ve made things with AI, not just written specs about them. Shipped products, agent workflows, or tools real users have touched. Any of these count whether at work or in your personal life.
- You’re AI-native by default. You use tools like Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or similar regularly. You follow the AI product space closely and you know the difference between a demo and something production-ready.
- You’ve built personal AI workflows that make you meaningfully faster. You know when to trust AI output, when to edit it, and when to reject it.
- You’ve gone from user problem to testable prototype without waiting for a brief to be written for you. The output was good enough that a team shipped from it.
- Low PM baggage: you’re not attached to how product management "should" be done. You care about outcomes, not territory.
- When designing and shipping AI-enabled products, you consider privacy, safety, fairness, transparency, bias, and accountability. You assess when AI-generated outputs are appropriate for use and raise concerns when risks or limitations are identified.
YOUR RANGE
- Across all three disciplines, you can hold your own: in Product you can identify opportunities, assess impact, and prioritize ruthlessly. In Design, you have taste: you know when something looks right but feels wrong. In Engineering, you’ve used AI coding tools to build something real, and you’re not dependent on an engineer to tell you why it’s broken.
HOW YOU WORK
- Data fluency: you know the metric you were trying to move, and you can say whether you moved it, with healthy skepticism about what metrics do and don’t tell you.
- You believe in experimentation and ship with velocity to learn quickly. You know your way around AB tests and are excited to try new data science models to learn faster.
- You’ve worked on products where getting it wrong has real consequences for real people, and that raised your bar, not lowered it.
- You’ve found a way through blockers rather than waiting to be unblocked. When something was genuinely impossible, you documented why and moved on.
- You bring an entrepreneurial and independent mindset. You are excited about spotting opportunities and then acting on them.
- Fluency in English is required (German is a plus).
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF…
- You’re not genuinely excited about being able to stretch across design and engineering functions.
- You’ve never built an AI prototype and/or shipped code, side projects count.
- You pride yourself in what you delivered rather than its impact
- You need certainty, a full brief, or someone else’s research to get started.
- You don’t believe in fast learning and getting things into customers hands early and use
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal tech meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a hands-on Global Workplace Lead to own workplace experience across all Modal offices. You’ll manage our Workplace Experience team and set the tone for the day-to-day operations, programs, and physical environments that make each location thrive. You care as much about how a space feels as about how it functions, and bring the same taste and judgment to our offices that we bring to our product. You’ll develop a deep understanding of what each office actually needs, and build trusted relationships with local leads and cross-functional partners across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Manage and develop a team of workplace services professionals, setting direction, coaching performance, and building a high-functioning team
- Own operational quality across every office by tracking service levels and space utilization, spotting patterns, and fixing the underlying causes of recurring problems
- Stay ahead of what the business needs next by keeping a pulse on both local realities and company-wide priorities
- Build the global budget and vendor strategy for workplace experience, and hold contractors and service providers accountable to clear performance expectations
- Guide workplace experience through major transitions, including new office openings and relocations
- Shape how Modal’s brand and culture show up physically, bringing the same clarity, craft, and attention to detail to our spaces that we bring to our product
- Synthesize data, stakeholder input, and business context into recommendations for continuous improvement
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have 5+ years in workplace, facilities, or office operations, ideally at a high-growth tech company where you built programs rather than inherited them
- You have 2+ years of people management, including leading team members through office moves or openings
- You’ve overseen workplace operations across multiple offices, ideally in more than one country
- You have strong taste and judgment, with an instinct for what looks and feels like Modal
- You have a clear willingness to take a hands-on approach and dive into the details
- You can influence cross-functional partners and translate company strategy into effective local execution
- You thrive in a fast-paced workplace with rapidly changing priorities
- You’re excited to be in an in-office role, collaborating with team members IRL
- You’re willing and able to travel to Modal offices globally

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the Team
Our global Legal team has built a strong reputation within the company for our highly collaborative and supportive approach to counseling, always with a bias for action. We are a diverse group of lawyers and legal professionals with a shared passion for providing creative, best-in-class service to our business partners. The Competition & Litigation team advises DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo on antitrust, competition, and litigation matters across every market we operate in.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Counsel, Competition & Litigation to join our growing Legal team and work globally across the DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo brands. Reporting to the Director, Competition & Litigation, you’ll be a generalist antitrust attorney who can move fast: advising product and business teams in real time, supporting M&A and strategic investments alongside our Corporate Development team, and driving forward regulatory investigations and inquiries, with a particular focus on Europe. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our London HQ or Brussels office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Serve as a trusted antitrust/competition advisor to product, business, and corporate development teams, delivering fast, practical counsel that lets the business move with velocity while properly managing risk.
Advise on the competition and antitrust dimensions of M&A transactions, strategic investments, and commercial partnerships, partnering closely with Corporate Development and our sales teams.
Manage antitrust and competition regulatory investigations and inquiries globally.
Help build out DoorDash’s international competition compliance program, partnering with the Director, Competition & Litigation on training, policies, and processes across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
Support competition-related litigation matters as needed, including document collection and review, witness preparation, and responses to third-party subpoenas.
Partner with policy and government relations teams to track legal and regulatory developments that could affect the business.
We’re excited about you because…
You are a qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or bring similar qualifications in another European jurisdiction) with significant experience providing strategic legal advice to international businesses.
You have 7+ years of experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department, with a strong grounding in antitrust/competition law as a generalist — spanning M&A counseling, litigation, and regulatory/government investigations.
You have experience advising on competition issues in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments, including regulatory filings and clearance strategy.
You have experience handling antitrust/competition regulatory inquiries or investigations, ideally including direct engagement with regulators such as the European Commission, UK CMA, DOJ, FTC, or other competition authorities.
You’re comfortable operating as a generalist across a broad portfolio — you don’t need deep pre-existing expertise in every sub-area, but you can quickly get up to speed and give practical, business-minded advice.
You’re an excellent product counselor: able to translate complex antitrust concepts into clear, fast, actionable guidance for product and business teams.
You’re comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and legal systems, and can navigate the added complexity of advising across three global brands (DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo).
You have strong organizational skills and can juggle multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-moving environment, both independently and as part of a team.
You’re an outstanding communicator, both orally and in writing, with sound judgment on when to escalate and when to move forward independently.

Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
