Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Software Engineers, Subscriptions - Backend
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, one of the largest online food ordering and delivery platforms in the world. As part of this role, you'll join one of our Subscriptions teams in London, focused on the core proposition and working across our three subscription programmes - DashPass, Deliveroo Plus, and Wolt+. You'll work closely with engineering teams across the US and Europe, as part of the Global Subscription organisation, to build and evolve the shared subscriptions capabilities that power loyalty and membership experiences for millions of customers worldwide.
We're hiring backend engineers who want to be at the front line of what engineering looks like in the age of AI.
💡 Why Subscriptions?
An AI-first team by design. We don't use AI as a productivity add-on - we treat agentic coding as a core engineering discipline. We expect our engineers to build with AI agents, to challenge what's possible when the human-in-the-loop is a multiplier rather than a bottleneck, and to push the boundaries of what a small, focused team can ship.
Real ownership, real impact. Our subscription programmes are touching millions of users daily. You'll own features end-to-end - from the idea through production - and see your work matter at scale.
Cross-org engineering at the frontier. Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt are working together in order to align subscription experiences across three of the world's leading delivery platforms. This is engineering at the intersection of product ambition and international complexity.
A small team that punches above its weight. We're a cross-functional team: Backend, Mobile, Web, Product, Design, and Data - all in the same room. No handoff theatre. You'll move fast, ship iteratively, and be around people who take craft seriously.
🤖 AI-First Engineering - What This Means Here
We're building teams at the forefront of agentic coding. This isn't about using Copilot to autocomplete boilerplate. We mean engineers who:
Design workflows where AI agents handle entire task loops, from spec to PR.
Think in terms of orchestration: what does a human review, what does the agent own?
Build internal tooling and abstractions that make AI-assisted development faster and more reliable for the whole team.
Stay curious and ahead of the curve - trying new models, agents, and tools as they emerge, and forming strong opinions about what's genuinely useful vs. hype.
If you find yourself naturally asking "can an agent do this?" before reaching for the keyboard, you'll fit right in.
🔍 What We're Looking For Across all roles
Strong engineering fundamentals - you've built and shipped software that runs at scale, and you understand what that entails: testing, observability, reliability, and maintainability.
Genuine enthusiasm for AI-first development. You use AI tools daily and have formed real opinions about how to get the most out of them.
Ownership mentality: you drive projects forward, communicate clearly across teams and time zones, and don't wait to be told what to do.
Collaborative instincts - the Subscriptions domain sits at the intersection of consumer mobile, web, backend, and data. Cross-functional work is the norm, not the exception.
🙌 About You
You've built and shipped real software - products, platforms, APIs, apps - and you know what it takes to keep things running reliably in production. You have opinions about architecture but hold them lightly. You write tests. You read the alerts. You don't leave loose ends.
What sets you apart right now is that you're genuinely excited about where engineering is going. You've been experimenting with AI agents and agentic coding workflows - not because someone told you to, but because you couldn't help yourself. You think about how to redesign your development loop from first principles, not how to bolt AI onto the way you already work.
You communicate well, collaborate easily across disciplines, and care about the product as much as the code. You're the kind of engineer who asks "what's the best way to..." and then actually follows through.
🌍 Where You'll Work
These roles are based in our tech hub in London.

AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Taxfix recently launched its first products and services for self-employed people and
small and medium businesses in Germany. The B2B motions these products
need to scale have to be built from the ground up, with support from central
growth and channel experts: acquisition and onboarding, lead generation and
nurturing, sales, retention and expansion. In this role, your mandate is to
find, test and scale what works.
You own SE and SMB growth marketing end to end for Germany. You start from an
insight you found yourself and pick the few opportunities worth the time and
money. Before launch you set the success, kill and scale criteria and what done
means. Then you run the work yourself, or hand it to the expert best placed to
run it, read the result and decide whether to scale, iterate or kill.
Central specialist teams carry the established work, and you collaborate with
them: paid acquisition, CRM, marketing data and MarTech. You decide which
channels, segments and messages to test, and you build the growth loops nobody
at Taxfix has run yet. You work with the B2B product team, the B2B commercial
lead, Product Marketing and our Creative Studio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Find the opportunities worth running. Turn customer conversations, sales
calls, funnel data and what you observe in the market into hypotheses and
experiments for SE and SMB growth. Rank them and run them. Pivot when an
experiment fails, and scale quickly when it works.
- Build multi-channel strategies. Build an experimentation engine, and use
its results to shape the multi-channel strategy for awareness and demand
capture across Taxfix's new B2B products. Central growth teams and channel
experts carry parts of the mix.
- Design how each product reaches its customers. For each growth loop,
decide the ICP segment to focus on, the channel and the message to test, how
the user flow and experience fit the loop, and the plan for scaling after the
first positive signals.
- Plan it, then run it yourself. Set success, kill and scale criteria before
launch. Build the prototype, landing page, content, onboarding flow or nurture
sequence with your own hands where that is fastest, and bring in central
experts where they do it better.
- Build B2B motions from zero to one. Acquisition and onboarding flows, lead
generation and nurturing, the handover to inbound sales, retention and
expansion loops. Several of these exist nowhere at Taxfix today.
- Read the results and make the call. Separate signal from noise at B2B
volumes, where samples start small. Decide to scale, iterate or kill, and turn
the read into recommendations for Product and commercial leadership.
- Use AI as an operating and growth advantage. Use AI to 10x your
effectiveness and your outcomes. Build your own prototypes, applets and tools
for the opportunities you run, and apply AI to discovery, analysis, content,
experimentation and repeating workflows.
- Steer budget where the evidence is thin. You hold the mandate to plan and
allocate budget for new B2B motions and growth loops.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strategist and operator in one person. You pick the opportunities and you
run them, to the standard you planned them to. Given the choice, you ship a
first version this week over polishing a plan for a month.
- 5+ years in B2B go-to-market. 5+ years of experience in B2B
go-to-market, growth, strategy or another go-to-market function, including
ownership of a product or business outcome.
- Zero-to-one experience. You took a new product, category, platform or
business line from the first growth-loop tests, through scaling, to a
multi-channel playbook.
- Close to the customer. You naturally stay close to our customers, talk to them, listen to sales calls and use customer insights to inform your decisions.
- Data literacy. You can define and interpret acquisition, activation, adoption,
retention, pipeline, conversion, revenue and product-usage metrics, and you
turn what you find into a decision.
- Agility and speed. You try new ideas all the time. When one fails, you
pivot. When one works, you move to scale it. Shifting priorities and tight
deadlines don't throw you off.
- Curious about B2B growth and AI. You follow the people and sources moving
both fields, and you can name what you took from them into your own work.
- Knowledge of the German market, ideally of how self-employed people and
small businesses buy. Fluent German is a big plus, not a must.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.

To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.

Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
About the role
Finom is a licensed EMI operating across several EU markets, where information security and compliance are a big part of how we work. We're looking for an Information Security Officer to join our Cyber Security team and take ownership of security compliance and risk management day to day.
You won't be starting from a blank page. We already have a mature, certified ISMS and established processes for risk management, audits, vendor assessments and reporting. Your role is to get to know what we have, keep it running well, spot opportunities to make it better and make sure compliance works in practice, not just on paper.
You'll report directly to the CISO and work closely with our Cyber Security and Engineering teams, as well as Risk, Legal & Compliance, Internal Audit and other teams across the company.
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain the ISMS and ICT risk management framework records: document and records register, control ownership and evidence repository.
- Perform and refresh information security risk assessments, maintain the risk register, prepare risk treatment plans and track their implementation with control owners.
- Prepare for and go through internal and external audits, certifications and assessments: own the calendar, collect evidence, work directly with auditors and track findings to closure.
- Run periodic checks of control design and operating effectiveness and raise gaps for remediation.
- Draft and maintain information security policies, procedures and guidelines and prepare them for annual review and approval.
- Collect and analyse ISMS KPIs and KRIs and prepare the regular security and risk reporting for management.
- Perform security assessments of new suppliers and periodic reassessments of existing ones together with Risk, Legal and the DPO.
- Prepare responses to security and compliance questionnaires from partners, customers and regulators.
- Review new projects, products and vendors from an information security and compliance perspective.
- Track changes in cybersecurity, ICT risk and privacy regulation and supervisory guidance, assess impact and propose required changes.
- Keep company-wide security awareness and training materials relevant and up to date.
- Automate evidence collection, control checks, questionnaire answering and reporting with templates, scripts and AI tooling.
Who You Are
- 4+ years of experience in information security compliance, ISMS, GRC or related areas.
- Practical experience with ISO/IEC 27001: working with an ISMS and preparing for and going through certification or surveillance audits.
- Experience with information security risk assessments, risk registers and risk treatment plans.
- Experience answering security questionnaires and due diligence requests from partners, customers or regulators.
- Able to translate standards and regulatory requirements into practical controls, procedures and evidence that people actually follow.
- Hands-on and self-driven: you own tasks end to end, work directly with people to solve problems and do not wait for a perfect methodology before acting.
- Open to AI tools and automation and actively use them in day-to-day work.
- Strong written English and clear documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking, payments or an EMI.
- PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP or payment scheme assessments.
- Knowledge of DORA, NIS2 and GDPR, including working with a DPO on RoPA and DPIA.
- Vendor security assessment and third-party risk experience.
- Certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, CISA, CRISC or CISM.

We're looking for a Business Risk Officer to help scale the way Mercury builds products. In this role you will report to our Head of Business Risk & Enablement and will partner with Product, Operations, Compliance and many other support and oversight teams to ensure that products and features are delivered “best-in-class” in a safe and sound manner. Your success in this role will rely on subject matter expertise in one or more of Mercury’s core product offerings and associated risks. You will also be primarily responsible for the facilitation of non-financial risk management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
— Identify any potential blind spots in processes and controls, and suggest commercial improvements/enhancements
— Facilitate pre-launch and new activity initiatives/reviews, tracking items to closure and escalating where/when necessary
— Facilitate execution of risk self assessments and similar exercises within the non-financial risk frameworks
— Event/incident, issues, and remediations management - ensuring that incidents and issues are recorded and managed through to remediation in line with any and all relevant frameworks in the company
— Develop and enhance iteratively KPIs/KRIs to be monitored by yourself, product/process owners, and other stakeholders in order to mitigate risk
— Coordinate interactions and responses between Product and Operations teams vs. other stakeholders for audits, exams and similar reviews (internal and external)
— Engage and partner deeply with stakeholders across the organization including Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, etc.
— Help design / provide feedback on certain enterprise/firm-wide trainings and deliver trainings as needed
Qualifications:
— Have at least 5 - 7+ years of experience in a banking, fintech, or other financial services firms in a product/business, business risks and/or controls, operational risk, or other similar roles
— Track record of balancing risk, compliance, and customer experience in cross-functional settings
— Excellent communication skills to simplify complex business, reg and/or risk concepts into clear explanations and/or recommendations
— Familiarity with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practices and non-financial risk frameworks
— Curious, growth-oriented, and motivated to work on risk and controls at all lifecycle stages (new product launches, scaling, and legacy optimization)
— Bring a collaborative, problem-solving mindset to your work, have strong stakeholder management skills, and an ability to influence without direct authority
— Approach your work with a high quality bar and a strong sense of ownership - you see things through to completion, knowing when to be pragmatic vs. when not to settle
— Proficient with AI tools, or eager to get there, to drive efficiency in risk and controls work — a growth mindset is enough if you're not an expert day one.
Preferred Qualifications:
— Exposure to product or technology development lifecycles (e.g., involvement in pre-launch reviews, feature rollouts, or cross-functional builds) — doesn't need to be a formal PM background, just familiarity with how products move from idea to launch
Total Rewards:
The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits. Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
