How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About the role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, implement, and evolve product capabilities while solving high-scope backend problems and influencing the technical and product direction of our teams. You will move beyond "assigned work" to actively improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our systems. You will work across product, frontend, infrastructure, data, and security boundaries, making sound architectural trade-offs, communicating complex ideas clearly in an asynchronous environment, and helping define the standards for a high-scale, global product.
Why you’ll love this role
High Impact:
You aren't just shipping features; you are shaping the architecture of a global platform used by millions.
Technical Agency:
You will influence team objectives, technical direction, and long-range goals, helping us solve problems of high scope and complexity.
Innovative Culture:
You will get to experiment with and integrate agentic AI into production engineering workflows, moving beyond simple prompt engineering to build resilient, AI-assisted systems.
Autonomy:
You will thrive in our remote-first, asynchronous organization, where clear written communication and self-direction are the pillars of success.
User-Centric Collaboration:
You’ll partner closely with PMs and designers to shape requirements, ensuring every technical decision delivers genuine value to our users.
What you’ll do
Drive Technical Direction:
Design and ship moderate to complex backend features with minimal guidance, making pragmatic choices between modular-monolith code, shared components, or independently operated services.
Raise the Bar:
Advocate for product quality, security, availability, and performance. You will define backend standards for style, maintainability, testing, APIs, and operational readiness.
Mentor & Lead:
Mentor associate and intermediate engineers, remove technical blockers, and improve team delivery practices through code and design reviews.
Operational Excellence:
Diagnose and prevent performance/reliability issues at scale. Participate in incident response and act as a technical owner where appropriate.
AI Integration:
Use AI in production engineering work to improve outcomes, evaluate its effectiveness, and coach others on responsible, high-judgment use.
What you’ll bring
Deep Backend Expertise:
A strong command of backend architecture, APIs, data systems, and performance tuning in a complex product or service environment.
Adaptability:
Proficiency in modern backend languages and a deep understanding of systems programming. We value the ability to learn and adapt over mastery of a single language.
Architectural Judgment:
Experience designing or evolving modular backend boundaries, bounded contexts, and migration-safe architectures.
Influence:
Ability to lead through influence, technical judgment, and clear written communication, effectively bridging the gap between product needs and technical reality.
Agentic AI Expertise:
Proven experience building or operating agentic systems in production—moving beyond prompt engineering to architecting loops, tool-use, and error-handling strategies that ensure reliability at scale.
Helpful experience
Experience with high-throughput distributed systems, concurrency, or profiling.
Hands-on experience with containerized production operations (e.g., Kubernetes).
Deep database performance knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, schema evolution, partitioning).
Background in large-scale modular monoliths or event-driven systems.
Public technical communication, open-source maintenance, or experience in developer-focused SaaS.

ABOUT AVOCA
Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, from booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue, all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.
We're a Series B startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, General Catalyst, and other top-tier investors, with $125M raised and a $1B valuation. We grew 10x in 2025 and have scaled to 170+ employees in under two years across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office.
In a $1T+ market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors, we're building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement, serving the largest brands in home services. With high-energy, in-office teams in both locations, every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Channel Partner Manager to build one of Avoca's most important revenue engines: partnerships with the HVAC manufacturers, OEMs, and distributors that sit upstream of every contractor. Avoca has established itself as the leading brand and AI partner in the home services industry through partnerships across several channels, and this role owns distribution through the OEM and supplier layer. These partnerships put Avoca in front of thousands of home services operators at once, with the credibility of brands they already know and trust.
You'll own a revenue goal and a portfolio of these relationships, from OEMs like Trane, Daikin, and Carrier to their distribution networks. You'll take partnerships end to end: finding the opportunity, structuring the relationship, and turning it into repeatable pipeline and revenue. This is a small, fast-moving team, so you'll wear many hats and help build the playbook as much as run it.
You'll report directly to the Head of Partnerships and work closely with leadership on our highest-priority partner initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own a portfolio of partner relationships end to end, from first conversation to signed partnership to revenue
- Build partnerships across HVAC manufacturers, OEMs, distributors, and their territory managers, including the co-op programs that fund and shape how these partnerships work
- Structure partnerships that create real distribution: co-marketing, referral motions, preferred-vendor positioning, joint events, and go-to-market
- Turn relationships into measurable partner-sourced pipeline and ARR, and own those numbers
- Represent Avoca with partners and at industry events, with travel as needed, heavier during conference season
- Work closely with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to convert partner introductions into closed business
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Direct experience in the home services industry building channel partnerships with HVAC manufacturers and distributors like Trane, Daikin, Carrier, or Ferguson
- Existing relationships you can activate quickly, with manufacturer channel leaders and distributor territory managers, plus an understanding of how co-op works
- Experience with channel, co-marketing, or partner-sourced revenue motions
- 4+ years of professional experience, with 6 to 10 years the ideal range
- A track record of building and closing partnerships or commercial relationships, not just managing existing ones
- Strong commercial instinct and clear communication with both field operators and executives
- High agency and pace: you build the playbook and move at the speed of a high-growth startup, not a legacy player
WHO YOU ARE
- You know the home services world well enough to bring a point of view and a network with you, not build both from scratch
- You're a relationship builder who's equally comfortable in the field and in a boardroom
- You think in systems: you can look at a fragmented landscape and quickly see where the leverage is
- You want to own a book of partnerships, carry a number, and shape what this function becomes
BENEFITS
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
- Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
- Company-wide off-sites
- Monthly wellness stipend
- Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
- Dinner covered when working late
- Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
- Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
- All core tools and software provided
Compensation: The expected base salary for this role is $160,000-$220,000 with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications determined during the interview process. Avoca's total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks. Our Recruiting team will share the full details as you progress through our hiring process.
WHY AVOCA
At Avoca, you’ll be part of a team that’s building a category-defining company at the center of a massive market opportunity. We’re a fast-moving, collaborative team with a culture designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and impact.
Avoca provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We're looking for a Design Manager to lead Figma's internal Design Systems and Design Infrastructure as the company transforms and expands. This is a rare opportunity to become the steward of the system behind how Figma designs and builds Figma: the foundations, tokens and variables, component libraries, tooling, governance, and shared infrastructure that help our teams create with quality and coherence at scale. The work will shape every Figma product and, through them, the experience of millions of people.
This is a senior people leadership role with meaningful scope. You'll lead designers across multiple Design work streams, set direction through a complex transformation, and partner deeply with Design, Product, and Engineering to turn strong foundations into greater quality, speed, and leverage across Figma. If you believe the best systems create coherence without limiting the autonomy teams need to do exceptional work, this is the role for you.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Lead and grow designers across Figma's internal Design Systems foundations, tokens and variables, component libraries, internal tooling, governance, and adoption
Set an ambitious vision and quality bar for how Figma's internal design system evolves, translating the company's transformation into coherent, durable foundations for the product suite
Partner with Design, Product, and Engineering leaders on strategy, resourcing, technical direction, adoption, and execution across a complex organization
Bring clarity and momentum to ambiguous, cross-functional work, balancing system coherence with the autonomy product teams need to solve distinct problems well
Evolve the Design Systems operating model, including governance, contribution paths, critiques and reviews, documentation, feedback loops, and adoption practices
Hire, coach, retain, and develop an exceptional team, helping designers grow their craft, judgment, and leadership across multiple workstreams
Represent the Design Systems perspective in broader organizational decisions and ensure Figma's design infrastructure evolves with its expanding product suite
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
4+ years of design management experience, including direct people leadership across multiple workstreams and a strong track record of hiring, coaching, retaining, and developing designers
Technical fluency with design foundations, tokens and variables, component libraries, internal tooling, and system architecture, plus direct experience applying or leading AI-enabled Design Systems workflows
Experience evolving an internal design system at scale, earning trust across a sizable product organization, and leading the change required to drive meaningful adoption
Deep, hands-on Figma expertise, high agency, end-to-end ownership, and a track record of creating clarity and momentum through organizational change
Experience connecting coded component systems with design libraries and design-to-code workflows
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Building token pipelines and maintaining reliable synchronization between design foundations and code
Creating internal tooling and automation that improves system maintenance, contribution, and adoption
A track record of building shared platform or infrastructure services that other teams depend on
Leading large-scale system migrations or design-infrastructure transformations across a multi-product organization
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
THE ROLE
The Developer Experience team builds the backend systems and product capabilities that help developers understand, secure and ship software with confidence. The team powers important parts of Docker Scout, Docker Hardened Images and the workflows that turn supply-chain data into useful developer experiences.
Our systems are deliberately polyglot. Today that includes Clojure and Go services, event-driven workflows, Kafka, legacy Datomic components and newer Spanner-backed services. We will keep evolving the stack as the product and business change. We are looking for an adaptable backend engineer who can become effective in an unfamiliar codebase, choose technology pragmatically and help other engineers do the same. Clojure experience is useful, but it is not a requirement and this is not a Clojure-specialist role.
We make extensive use of AI-assisted engineering tools. We expect engineers to use them thoughtfully, validate their output and remain accountable for the quality, security and operability of what ships. At Staff level, you will also help the team turn good individual practice into repeatable workflows, controls and shared standards.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead ambiguous, cross-team work from problem definition through measurable outcomes. You will remain hands-on in code while shaping architecture, raising operational standards and creating enough clarity for several engineers and partner teams to move quickly. Work may span developer-facing features, build and artefact workflows, data and event pipelines, platform evolution and integrations with Docker's build and security systems.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
You will succeed by finding the highest-leverage problem, creating momentum before every detail is known and bringing people with you. Within your first year, teams should be delivering more confidently because you have made system boundaries clearer, reduced operational risk, connected technical choices to customer outcomes and helped senior engineers take on larger work.
_______________________________________________________________________
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set technical direction for major backend and developer-experience initiatives across Clojure, Go and adjacent systems.
- Turn ambiguous product or platform problems into clear plans, staged decisions and measurable outcomes.
- Design, build and operate distributed services, event pipelines, databases and APIs with strong security and reliability characteristics.
- Lead cross-team delivery, surface risks early and remove technical or organisational blockers without waiting for formal authority.
- Make pragmatic recommendations about when to retain, evolve or replace existing components, including the continued reduction of legacy Datomic dependencies.
- Partner with Product, Design, Security and other engineering teams to connect technical investment to developer and business outcomes.
- Improve observability, incident readiness, performance and service ownership across the Developer Experience estate.
- Improve engineering leverage through appropriate automation, AI-assisted workflows and controls that preserve human accountability.
- Mentor senior engineers, raise the quality of design and code reviews and create reusable patterns that multiply the team.
- Stay hands-on through implementation, debugging and the team's paid on-call rotation.
- Communicate decisions and trade-offs clearly in a remote, async-first environment.
_______________________________________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated technical leadership on production systems at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Deep experience designing, building and operating production backend or platform systems.
- Strong programming ability in at least one production language, with evidence of becoming effective in unfamiliar languages and codebases.
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, APIs, relational or distributed databases and cloud-native infrastructure.
- A track record of leading complex initiatives that crossed team or organisational boundaries.
- Strong technical and product judgement, including the ability to explain constraints, alternatives, customer outcomes and business trade-offs.
- Evidence of influencing without authority and improving the effectiveness of other experienced engineers.
- An operational mindset that treats observability, resilience, incident response and on-call ownership as part of engineering.
- Comfort using AI-assisted engineering tools critically while retaining ownership of the result.
- Clear written and spoken communication suited to a remote, async-first company.
HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Production experience with Go, Clojure or both.
- Experience with Spanner, Datomic, Kafka or other distributed data and streaming platforms.
- Experience with build systems, containers, artefact workflows or developer tooling.
- Experience evolving a platform, database or language strategy without disrupting product delivery.
- Experience building security or software supply-chain products.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- Build context on Developer Experience products, customers, architecture and current priorities.
- Pair across Clojure, Go, Datomic and Spanner-backed systems and ship a useful production change.
- Understand the operational profile of the team's services, including on-call and recurring failure modes.
- Build working relationships with Product, Design, Security and adjacent engineering teams.
- Learn the team's AI-assisted engineering practices and identify where shared controls or workflows would improve them.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Lead the technical framing and delivery plan for one significant team or cross-team problem.
- Contribute production code in the parts of the stack needed to move that work forward.
- Identify and begin addressing a material reliability, observability, data or architectural weakness.
- Establish a mentoring and design-review cadence that helps other engineers own larger decisions.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK (FIRST YEAR)
- Be a trusted technical leader for Developer Experience and a sought-after partner across Docker.
- Deliver at least one material product or platform outcome spanning multiple teams or systems.
- Improve the reliability, clarity and delivery speed of the backend and data estate.
- Shape pragmatic evolution across Clojure, Go, Datomic, Spanner and future technologies without turning technology choice into the goal.
- Grow other senior engineers into broader ownership and reduce the number of decisions that depend on a small set of people.

About the role
ElevenLabs is expanding globally, and some of our largest enterprise opportunities are won through complex procurement processes. We're building the RFP Engine to own how we compete in them — a new function at the heart of how ElevenLabs pursues its most strategic deals. As a Proposal Manager, you'll be one of its founding members, owning strategic pursuits in your region from qualification through submission: decoding what evaluators actually want, shaping the response strategy with account teams, coordinating input across sales, solutions engineering, legal, and security, and driving every submission to an exceptionally high bar — on time, every time.
You'll run pursuits through an AI-first system and help make it better with every cycle. Automation handles the mechanical work — first drafts, compliance checks, content retrieval — so your judgment goes where it matters: positioning, differentiation, and quality. When you spot work being repeated, you'll help systematise it, turning what you learn on each bid into templates, content, and process the whole company benefits from.
We think the right person has lived complex enterprise bids and knows the difference between a compliant response and a winning one. You write and edit exceptionally well, you're calm and decisive coordinating many contributors against a hard deadline, and you'd rather build the machine than crank the handle.
Requirements
- A track record managing complex enterprise RFP or bid responses end-to-end, from qualification through submission, ideally at a technology company
- A builder's approach to AI and automation: you use AI fluently in your own work, you've shipped internal tooling or workflows (or partnered closely with engineers to do so), and you treat repeated manual effort as a design flaw
- Exceptional writing and editing: you turn technical and commercial input from many contributors into clear, compliant, persuasive responses
- Strong project management under deadline pressure — running contributors, review cycles, and sign-offs across functions and timezones without dropping quality
- Commercial instincts: you can read scoring criteria, spot what will differentiate a response, and flag pursuits that aren't worth the effort
Bonus: additional languages beyond English; experience with security or compliance questionnaires; a technical or pre-sales background.
Growth Potential
We believe in hiring the best talent in the world to look make an impact in the right role at the right time. At ElevenLabs, strong performance creates opportunities for growth. Here are some of the career paths you can expect after excelling in this role:
- Leading regional proposals capacity as pursuit volume grows across markets
- Specialising in bid strategy on our most strategic global pursuits
Location
We're hiring for this role in two regions. This role is remote-first and can be executed from any of our hub cities in EMEA. If you prefer, you can work from our growing number of offices, including in London, Dublin, Madrid or Warsaw.
We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime Arcade, we've become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually.
Investigating 770 Million User Interactions Across a 100TB Data Lake
When a platform serves 770 million users, every optimization from reward mechanics to SDK integrations needs to be grounded in data. The Rewarded Analytics team builds the internal dashboards, alerting systems, and data pipelines that monitor the user funnel, traffic engagement, and reward consistency.
SQL and Python power deep-dive investigations and automated 100 terabyte-sized data analyses queried through Trino. Using Tableau as the main visualization tool, stakeholders have access to real-time insights on the product performance. Airflow orchestrates the pipelines that keep everything up to date. This team provides the data that turns questions into answers: every A/B experiment the product team runs, every anomaly a publisher flags, and every new SDK integration. These answers guide all the business decisions.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
- Data analyst with an exceptional technical foundation. You have 7+ years as a Data Analyst or Analytics Lead in the AdTech domain, with mastery in SQL and Python for processing multi-terabyte ad impression, bidding, and conversion event streams.
- Focused on data quality and anomaly detection. You have extensive experience building anomaly detection frameworks using clustering, distribution analysis, and cross-population comparison to catch data drift, tracking drops and discrepancies before they create severe impact.
- You own the systems, not just your slice. You hold a technical helicopter view of the full AdTech data stack: tracking specs, API integrations, data lake architecture, and event pipelines. You can evaluate technical tradeoffs and guide engineering on infrastructure improvements.
- Automation-minded across the stack. You establish team-wide technical standards, building production-grade data quality suites, automated monitoring pipelines, and reusable analytics modules. Hands-on experience with dbt and Airflow is required.
- Technical leader and strategic advisor. You elevate the entire team's technical bar, drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders, and turn complex data telemetry into clear strategies that level up our ad tools and operations.
🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.
