ABOUT THE OBSERVABILITY PLATFORM TEAM
The Observability Platform team exists to make production legible to every engineer and AI agent at Wealthsimple, on their first day and every day after. Every request, job, and user action produces a signal, and our job is to turn that signal into a fast, high-cardinality data asset that anyone can question. A business stakeholder investigating a drop in conversions, a service owner tracing a slow endpoint, an engineer validating a release, and an AI agent confirming its own change should all reach for the same data and get an answer in seconds.
We treat the platform as a product, and the engineers, service owners, and business stakeholders who depend on it as our partners. Our mission is to build the wide-event data model, the query foundation, and the golden paths that connect people to production data. We instrument on open standards such as OpenTelemetry so switching costs are a configuration change rather than a rewrite, and we optimize for the questions people did not anticipate rather than for pre-built dashboards.
As the founding Software Development Manager for this team, you will hire and lead the engineers who build this foundation, and set the technical vision that shapes how Wealthsimple understands its systems for years to come.
IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Build the wide-event data model at the heart of the platform. Lead an events-first foundation on open standards such as OpenTelemetry, including the schema, SDKs, libraries, and instrumentation defaults that make rich, consistent, high-cardinality telemetry the path of least resistance for every team.
- Build the query foundation that connects people to production data, and make it legible to AI agents. Design the columnar or streaming backends, the tagging and context-propagation standards, and the access patterns, including protocols such as MCP, that let a business stakeholder, a service owner, an engineer, or an AI agent ask an unanticipated question and get a fast answer.
- Connect production data to business impact. Tie telemetry to client experience and business outcomes through SLOs and user flows, so teams see a problem in the numbers that matter before clients feel it. This is detection framed as a data question, not a wall of machine-state alerts.
- Define what observability means at Wealthsimple, set a multi-year roadmap, and align engineering and leadership behind it.
- Own the tool and vendor strategy across the observability stack, including how we get the most from Datadog while reducing lock-in and managing cost.
- Prove value on pilots. Start with one or two teams to validate the approach before scaling it across the organization.
- Hire and lead the team, and own career development, performance management, coaching, and a culture of technical excellence.
- Stay hands-on, and move fast with AI coding tools such as Claude Code fluently to prototype, unblock the team, and raise its bar for building with AI.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 7+ years in software engineering, with a software development background. You build platforms as software, with the testing, design, and engineering rigor that implies.
- Direct, hands-on experience treating telemetry as a data problem. You have designed wide structured events, managed high cardinality, and worked with columnar or streaming backends, sampling, tagging, and context propagation. This is the core of the role.
- Direct experience building an observability, telemetry, or production-data platform before, so you are not learning the problem space on the job. You do not need to have built a commercial product such as Datadog or Honeycomb, but you have built the equivalent inside an engineering organization.
- A track record of building SDKs and shared platforms in a platform, data, or foundations team. You have shipped the libraries, paved roads, and defaults that other engineers build on, and you treat those engineers as partners.
- Fluency with OpenTelemetry or an equivalent, and with SLI and SLO design that ties signals to client experience and business outcomes.
- 3+ years of engineering management experience, developing engineers and delivering complex initiatives through both growth and change.
- The ability to set a vision, sequence the work, and move engineering and leadership toward it.
- Strong people leadership and cross-boundary influence. You grow careers, give clear feedback, build inclusive teams, and build trust with peer managers, senior leadership, service owners, and business stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with columnar stores such as ClickHouse, streaming systems such as Kafka, or query engines built for high-cardinality analytics.
- Experience building observability for LLM and agent-based workloads.
- Familiarity with self-serve data access, semantic layers, or data cataloging that helps non-experts find and query the right signal.
- Experience in a regulated or fintech environment.

An overview of this role
As Senior Renewals Operations Manager at GitLab, you'll help own the operational engine that makes renewals predictable, measurable, and efficient at scale. Reporting to the Director of CX Operations, you'll be the Renewals team's go-to business partner for processes, tooling, forecasting and insights, consumption and subscription data, and the steps required to quote and close a renewal. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports. You'll lead through ownership and influence, connecting teams and workflows, turning ambiguous problems into clear next steps, and driving improvements that others across the revenue organization depend on.
What you'll do
Own and continuously improve the end-to-end renewal operating model; from renewal identification, assignment through risk management, quoting, through to close and post-renewal data hygiene processes.
Develop and improve the operating cadences that guide the renewal business, with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.
Define, maintain, and evolve retention reporting with cross-functional partners, including gross and net retention, churn and downgrade analysis, and the drivers behind each.
Partner with Revenue Technology, Revenue Analytics, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve Salesforce and the systems and data flows supporting customer relationship management (CRM), subscription and entitlement records, quoting, orders, billing, and reporting. Translate business needs into requirements, validate solutions, and strengthen data quality and operational controls.
Simplify and scale the renewal motion through automation, standardized workflows, alerts, playbooks, and self-service insights that reduce manual effort and improve execution consistency.
Support renewals planning and capacity management, including segmentation implementation, coverage models, productivity assumptions, capacity modeling, supporting target setting, and scenario planning.
Own and mature the Renewal Operations case-management program, including intake, triage, routing, service-level visibility, resolution, and root-cause analysis. Requests may include user migrations, de-duplication, Renewal Manager ownership changes, compensation exceptions, and Salesforce or data issues.
Raise the operating standard in your domain by documenting processes, mentoring others on how the renewal motion works, and contributing to broader Revenue Operations initiatives that need the renewals perspective.
What you'll bring
Experience in Renewals Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, management consulting, strategy, or a similar analytical and problem-solving role, with ownership of operational improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
Hands-on experience with both consumption and subscription renewal motions, including renewal forecasting, retention reporting, and the contractual and process mechanics that govern how renewals close.
Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills. You can break down ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and move them forward.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills. You're highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, can build and validate models from scratch, and can translate analysis into clear recommendations and action. Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) or equivalent data-querying tools is preferred, not required.
Systems thinking and experience using Salesforce for pipeline and renewals reporting. You understand how changes in one part of the go-to-market motion affect others, including how CRM, subscription or entitlement records, quoting, and billing relate to one another, and you design solutions accordingly.
Sound commercial judgment and an understanding of renewal complexity, including co-terming, amendments, expansions, downgrades, price changes, multiyear agreements, auto-renewals, procurement requirements, and approval policies.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You build trust with stakeholders at all levels, including field teams and senior leadership, and influence without direct authority.
Curiosity, sound judgment, and a bias toward action. You learn new domains and tools quickly, move from insight to implementation, and follow through until improvements are adopted and sustained.
About the team
You'll work within CX Operations, partnering closely with Renewals and Customer Success leadership, Sales, Finance, Revenue Technology, and Revenue Analytics. These partnerships connect renewal execution with the processes, systems, and data that support it. In GitLab's all-remote, values-driven environment, documentation, iteration, and cross-functional partnership are core to how you'll work.

About the role
As an Account Executive on the Commercial Install Base team, you will own and grow a portfolio of existing Vercel customers.
You will lead the full commercial relationship across your accounts, including account strategy, pipeline generation, expansion, renewal, and retention. You will partner with developers, engineering leaders, product teams, executives, and procurement stakeholders to understand what customers are building and connect Vercel to meaningful technical and business outcomes.
This is a strategic hunting role within our existing customer base. You will use product adoption, usage signals, company priorities, and thoughtful account research to develop hypotheses, create new conversations, and uncover expansion opportunities.
You will also quarterback the broader Vercel team, bringing together Solutions Engineering, Developer Success, Product, and other partners to remove barriers and drive customer outcomes.
Success requires commercial judgment, technical curiosity, disciplined execution, and the ability to create momentum when the path forward is not obvious.
What you'll do
Own the commercial strategy, retention, and growth of a portfolio of existing Vercel customers.
Build account plans that identify customer priorities, key stakeholders, current workloads, risks, whitespace, and expansion opportunities.
Generate pipeline through proactive prospecting, multi-threading, product usage signals, and thoughtful account research.
Build trusted relationships with developers, engineering leaders, executives, procurement partners, and other key stakeholders.
Run end-to-end renewal and expansion cycles, including discovery, qualification, technical evaluation, negotiation, and close.
Identify customer risk early and develop clear plans to protect recurring revenue.
Connect Vercel’s platform to measurable outcomes such as faster product delivery, improved performance, stronger reliability, increased conversion, and greater developer productivity.
Partner with Solutions Architects to understand customer architecture, uncover new workloads, and guide technical evaluations.

Maintain accurate forecasts, opportunity plans, renewal timelines, and customer context in Vercel’s systems.
Use AI, automation, and repeatable workflows to improve account research, prioritization, and execution.
Share successful plays, customer insights, and market feedback to help the team improve.
What you need
We are looking for a commercially driven Account Executive who combines strong sales fundamentals with technical curiosity and a commitment to customer outcomes.
In practice, this looks like someone who:
Has a history of achieving revenue targets through pipeline generation, opportunity management, negotiation, and closing.
Has experience owning and growing existing customer relationships, including renewals and expansion.
Proactively creates pipeline rather than relying primarily on inbound demand.
Can develop a point of view on an account and turn thoughtful hypotheses into customer conversations.
Builds credibility with technical, executive, and commercial stakeholders.
Learns complex products quickly and is curious about how modern web and AI applications are built and scaled.
Can translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
Is comfortable navigating ambiguity, complex organizations, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Demonstrates strong account planning, forecasting, and opportunity management discipline.
Uses data, customer signals, and judgment to prioritize time effectively.
Is coachable, collaborative, proactive, and team-first.
Is resilient and energized by complex commercial problems.
Bonus if you
Have experience growing existing customers in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, or a product-led growth company.
Have sold to developers, engineering leaders, product teams, or other technical buyers.
Have led expansions across multiple workloads, teams, or business units.
Have worked with customers navigating cloud modernization, AI adoption, or application development.
Have experience in a high-growth environment where go-to-market motions were still evolving.
Use tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo.
Use AI, automation, or self-built workflows to improve your effectiveness.
Aspire to coach others, own increasingly complex accounts, or grow into leadership.

The San Francisco, CA OTE range for this role is $221,000.00 - $300,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. - Experience managing or mentoring analysts. You should enjoy coaching and have a perspective on how to grow early-career analysts into workstream owners.
- Strong business judgment and ability to connect operational data to cost, experience, and strategic priorities.
- Proven ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels and context-switch between them without dropping quality.

We are looking for a Consumer CRM Director to lead this transformation.
You will own the global CRM strategy, lead the CRM team and be accountable for the commercial impact of CRM across the full customer lifecycle. Your mission is to turn CRM into a measurable growth engine that drives customer activation, engagement, retention, reactivation and lifetime value.
This role is about building a growth function, not just running campaigns. We are looking for someone who has already transformed CRM into a major growth engine and knows how to turn customer insights into business results.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Own the global CRM strategy across the full customer lifecycle.
Lead and develop a high-performing CRM team, creating a culture of experimentation, accountability, customer focus and continuous improvement.
Build CRM into one of Paysend’s core growth engines, delivering measurable business impact.

Hands-on experience with Braze or a similar lifecycle marketing platform.
Comfortable working across Product, Marketing, Analytics and Data teams.
Experience in fintech, payments or another high-growth digital consumer business is a strong advantage.
Success in This Role:
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
Make CRM one of Paysend’s key growth engines.
Deliver measurable improvements in customer activation, retention, reactivation and lifetime value.
Increase the contribution of CRM to transaction volume, revenue and long-term customer value.
Build a culture where decisions are driven by customer data, experimentation and continuous learning.
Develop a high-performing CRM team that consistently delivers measurable business impact.
This is an opportunity to build something meaningful.
You won’t be joining a business where CRM is only about campaigns. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the strategy, build new capabilities, influence product decisions and define how millions of customers engage with Paysend.

- Create compelling product narratives, value propositions and messaging that bring products and capabilities to life.
- Develop sales enablement and customer-facing materials that support launches, adoption and expansion.
- Partner with Sales to understand customer needs, objections and deal dynamics, continuously improving positioning and enablement.
- Lead and orchestrate product launches from strategy through execution that are crisp, focused, and actually land with customers
- Partner with Product on roadmap communication and prioritization
- Identify gaps in capabilities and proactively build the function to address them
CUSTOMER & MARKET INSIGHT
- Build a deep understanding of our customers, prospects, buyers and their challenges.
- Understand the ecommerce, search and product discovery landscape and where Constructor creates differentiated value.
- Engage with customers and prospects to understand what resonates and why they choose Constructor.
- Monitor the market and competitive landscapes.
- Identify opportunities to improve how we communicate product value throughout the customer lifecycle and the deep understanding of buyer personas and ICP.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
EXPERIENCE
- 8-10 years experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally within a technical or complex product environment.
- Proven track record developing genuinely differentiated positioning and messaging.
- Ability to take complex technology and turn it into a simple, compelling story that customers understand and value.
- Experience bringing products or capabilities to market and creating GTM materials that support adoption and growth.
- Strong experience partnering with Product and Sales to develop positioning that works both externally and commercially.
- Experience in ecommerce, retail technology, search, discovery is a plus.
SKILLS
- You are a strong storyteller who can communicate complex technical concepts in a simple, clear and persuasive way.

- You are commercially minded, with an understanding of how strong positioning can drive pipeline, revenue, adoption and expansion.
- You are an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create and present compelling ideas.
- You are both strategic and hands-on, comfortable setting direction while also getting into the detail needed to make things happen.
- You are creative and curious, willing to challenge conventional thinking and explore new ways to differentiate.
- You have an analytical mindset and can use market research and performance data to support strategic decisions, with experience in ROI analysis and experimentation.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

- Support general corporate matters, including drafting and negotiating intercompany agreements, advising on corporate structuring, and handling other corporate legal needs as they arise.
- Collaborate across the legal team: partner with colleagues focused on licensing, compliance, and regulatory matters to align corporate transactions with Rain's regulatory obligations and licensing requirements.
You are likely to succeed if you have:
- 4 to 8 years of experience in corporate law, with meaningful M&A transaction experience (law firm, in-house, or a combination).
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, investment documents, and related ancillary agreements.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, entity management, and Delaware corporate law.
- The ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
